academic team champions for football second place 3.31 team GTA by coach possible thank you for thank you very much thank you all Next we have some recognitions by this K Matthew Mas Stepan Miller Mitchel mit Ter Jacob Strickland West Sorry So although we don't have any certificates to hand out for this because these individuals were recognized at the Nas conference this last week we still want to recognize them during our board meeting and we also want to recognize those who the committee that can myself that's when ur and when we um we nominated people in various different categories our district to receive mission from and we want to association of school for those sorry um so we want to recognize those that we nominated in the other categories because otherwise they were nominated. So I'm
going to start with that and then when I get through that list and I'll um recognize those who actually received new word. So for the administrator of the year for the 2425 school year we nominated Dr. Cooper former assistant superintendent and then in the category of an employee making a difference we nominated Aaron Hol as the high school game development and sports teacher and in the category of innovative educator we nominated to the category of school administrator we nominated Mr. human elementary and principal elementary the category new year we nominated joc and in the category veteran board member here we nominated and she had nothing to do and uh those received award from the association of school awards Mr. developments teacher and provides um an environment where students can thrive and confidence and I remember
having make a presentation in here and listening to some of the students talk about how otherwise they may have dropped out school and they had no walking into his classroom and that one is so important for us to hear because not all of our students are on the And we have to recognize that everyone has unique abilities and I love that Mr. is such an innovative teacher and I congratulate him for his word and give him a and then our word recipient um is principal John Br and he is here so I will have him come up and stand up here and um I I really enjoyed preparing your letter because there was just so much material for me to use. I would like to um just read like very closing paragraph um from from
theation letter Mr. Leadership has had in remarkable student growth affected curriculum implementation and social support systems and a collaborative professional emotional learning environment is vision dedication and we bring focus on student achievement candidate for the school administrator Congratulations alles. question would like to make a responsibility to moderator the district goals and I want to thank the staff through all levels in the district goals show steady improvement can be checked officially is complete so there great things happening in church that umation increase 85.9% to 85.9 which is 1. district if the districts the high schools so high school have higher rate of industry once that is very that as well and you have joy can you put those up for you about this at the midle school is plan to be finished by 20 December um
go in there um get some refresh awesome give what's going on. It's almost finished in there. So excited about century we very happy to have that again. So we're very happy about that. that we have to do the very happy that it's part of the is they so that if there more to be of the chances of this happen again are there's a separate trainer system so that help this happening again so about that I have spoken a for that was to get system which is syem second day the federal was back we did we did not get that um that is going to work so we won do that application extremely high number of applications for the us to receive they received applications which is% so we regulatory application so we will continue that
other grants measures with us to training things for years we receive that so we're very helpful about was able to members with our super and was to be some of the things sessions I was Australia situation on was some of those things year to district from school all the way through 12th grade to high school for education things happen very to this for many years that tonight my retirement to the boy that be effective at the end of this school year until I retirement situation has changed there are some things to enjoy this district so very much so very in here situation this year sch to people back today with need to very this work happens is very wonderful to retire not so I will be let me I can time it is wonderful here
lots of great things and I about sometimes in two wonderful set of people wonderful set of stud and I enjoy going to see the stud that I work with my student elementary school my first elementary school very much grateful for this experience the trust me have this experience I'm grateful that we will see whatever happens in the future. Thank you. I appreciate I appreciate everyone that's here with the district. Thank you for your dedication and service to our community. Thank you. Any questions for us? question minutes transfer of it a b c d F G zak items a B C D E G this time I'd like R until we talk about the situation because G is the least which includes the so I feel like work on this so those are happening with the
this doesn't have to change specifically mention that on this on this so let's We were going to utilize need and easy for we would have enough without if we're just talking about the east side of the best add to that be discussing later on so if decide to water that section. Still have the water to do that. This doesn't turn those back is just for this is just the area that's been covered by the portion we talked about potentially giving it back but it's been decided not to. So I talk to TC and she said if they hold that back and not give it to them that we should have the last question is any of that water be transfer to the property that students use or is that I don't know about transfer properly
if we have sufficient need to so and have not to I don't know if there is TC I'm assuming just because of the timing of it. It's been the same think so we do that before. So he has a I would like to this conversation especially as we get closer to the program taking over the firm like to get them as much as much as we can trust I think I want to start with so much we did this weekend where we will that was amazing to be I took away and that's all thank you although I was able to attend the conference to be part of that committee and our amazing employees we nominated anders that we nominated and to give them a shout out tonight was and then just continu on policy committee
poli that was really exciting and super we can I took a lot of my classes and was quite fascinating, quite it was kind of nice to hear from some of the teachers because it's good for teachers not just students but it's just it's so interesting and I enjoy just being able also attendsba conference attends about the govern about superintendent evaluations which knows we're going to be going down so potentially more eff and participated one of the closing ke speakers so involvement with the conference um I also had an online meeting with the sub committee on the summer I will get a report and it for one or one but um but there will be a there will be survey that will be going out from the department of education regarding this and it's going to
ask you what your role is sch parents there some questions about if both do it twice so follow up some um but as a school board member with with the survey want everyone to be mindful of the amount of reports that school districts are required to submit and if you choose I really wish you would uh please submit comments about that concern that if we're doing a new it should be used as a more holistic system and other reports need to removed so that canlace it so there's not such a demand on school districts and the requirements for that so that just some information on that and be looking for that in January will also be for community members again parents and community members so the district can think of ways to share friends and
family you can with as well so that we offers and staff members the district as well few things to update on we had a disciplin committee meeting data regarded reporting discipl S discuss conversation director meeting we updated on the puttingability system contact for obvious clerk solutions and discuss the increase in legislative presence and progress of moving the was to also attended has convention participate in presentation special education law updates from the center clerk solutions sessions on how the work can improve student success session had strong team focus is a really good session connecting classrooms to the industry where we discuss cips understanding agitation from perspective a lot of ideas for policy practice that session that's what I up to thank you very much I also even better than cont is on from here are the
option to accept there was another was that another schools also the was over some else American give you versus decides to do the so the project I do have a long time several years because I know in 2009 was a lot of changes have a lot of that changes and doesn't have that and campus future things and some transparency that so many suig and there was only the grass there's always been patches of gr and patches ofs that's typical tyical that It is it is a low area when we it creates issues they can't for because the is that can't do it so there doesn't well beut there some things will be done that to do areas a lot of stud in there impieldield has more powerful on more that way this playground design is
expensive supp up to 20 years the last 20 place which is have now there last week with we were looking over it's been quite since we had rain but there were still many areas in the field from many areas things not I don't know I do things here that's the same thing we have there regularly with this is a lot of money this is a lot of I think that the funds for this are not funds districts have two sets of funds available funds available for capital and funds available for expenses so the money that is capital improvement cannot be used salaries and wages and increase things like that they can't be used for personality they don't want to be used for specific projects certain have value of000 other things for tech volume that's that's
all said by so 1.5 for this does not solve our our general fund the next year has no impactive on that as it can be used for certain things to be used for the does have decrease maintenance the first few months it has to be which is the machine we have the machine high school for all three areas um the same machine could be used for that and then it's it's once a month over um which is a lot less time for employee significant amount less time than is for taking care of theing all the other stuff associated with so benefits to um it does mean that principle have to make some of ouration So we can worken we can see We try out we have time to do that came to do that but
there's some isses with that as well kind of so does make we love is very also we the finance and more things so that's that's what decision to think those are my talking points the water resurgency it's not the water does cost more just a few000 a year looks lights um light that does get all that stuff don't know how much it would cost all that will cost money won cost as much as it won cost to do that so questions um just to clarify here this is the area this with this um just where the know that if this is new material we need to make available through the public this Sherman is so if we it's not getting even with this that money would be to this cost more than we anticipated. So
that put something with later on this is the field that she most of the time you come like the swings on the other side. exp Mr. you answer the same question if you this just understand we schers sports really footall reinforcing problem that's if you look you look especially that side of that slope of that slope of that it's to teacher when there's so it's obstacles stuck in the room which if you have been there is not large and small we have to work around lunches at 11 so it's done I mean work but it's not I don't have a place for those kids know it's It's been a few years we haven't had the moisture but an area where um I know the had to put the water out um on that fix that
problem you have um different as well we don't have periods because we have the water for so long before a potential risk for the have sy Now that's for if you're in the house and you're house you know just so I got I got I got obstacles and I feel bad for the kids and you know student counsel students we talked about just sections area without any grass amount of even just real quick just conversations but the capital had four3 fields to be done with increasing never up those two fields. something going to happen as much as we had hoped for that's great the cost is addition there's additional000 have to be that's cover except that So it stated that reserve 85 could be covered. capital when capital friends there's not friends um that based
upon um factors that some we don't know for sure so we try to keep a balance that um a safety net in reserve to $600,000 on what's expected to come in generally we're well safe So with that there is no money to do thats for fation and comes in most of this is based upon projection some things some taxes ar stuff like that goes down way that we that with that protection with that and everything was there is sufficient for you to do that One of the reasons we have the research is because we're working on projections and we have that many in case the projections come under. Yes. In case the real members come underly. you feel competently if we did to see 85 that we still have enough for our projects that it's
far up away from there is 700,000 muchoser thany aspect to out on the process there is a $50,000 contingency fund for each s built into the project so if there's no change orders contingency funds used that's the same potentially usually contingency funds get with this project high school for some with just there's other things shouldn't really much It's in my mind shouldn't be too much change something else to the contract of000 insulation schools before two principles are all saying this is something that should be done that really makes my confidence this I just want to say that I also spoke with my yesterday together right now yesterday um about this subject and my concern at the time was about the street s because there's a lot going on over there with stuff like this going
to be coming next year and so for me I wasn't um prepared at all to improve anything that was going to happen on that side of the school but at this point knowing that off the table for now the conversations will happen once that you know the room comes in I think for me kids slightly different standing situation different smaller square would for is significantly less than which about the twice the cost um and also knowing I mean I think there's other things so something around 2009 years ag so that's not even in um you know issue you know kids can't go up there when they're order in the in the um whoever ask some questions for you there sprinkler system so are we able to just sprinkle and not forc is that or can't
tell me so it can or can't be done because we have rates and we best can we not ir sprinkle to use sprinkler Yes. Yes. Without without without Yes. from your perspective we have ever done that we ever noticed in what is basically resolves as much nutri I mean it's a tough one cuz I there's there's concerns on both sides from public like you know some whatever I mean obviously some you know there's something available to the students so regardless of you know which option the drainage regardless of anyway before mostly Tap plastic It's really hot this so basically issues for this side understanding when there so many studies out there much better it is for kids to have a great space in school so instead of usable talked about the cost here last 20
years I think never I think that's pretty optimistic given how harsh the sign is especially if there's no shade of break down much faster for disposal which is initial 1.6 I think that's that's a lot for you better than Yes. a lot of what are talked about as well million is a lot of money for that money would be better spent to the possibly have to area in general official is going to be hot it's going to be hot I need the money spent going to change structures or maybe said kids could go out and learn how to learn how to take care of those act learning opportunity for that's what I say to um maybe a lot of money for maybe if we just spun in and did something with the Thank you. Mr.
that time they had several requests of you which I if you remember um and was one of them and and they explore some of those options in their fifth grade consider all the things that they've seen and die it's not taking care of what the it's not to be for and was the best option for their school and they today and this is the fifth grades from last year sixth grade talk to the fourth grade classes so these fourth grade those fourth graders fifth graders the kids that I was talking to today remembered and asking since the beginning of the year they were last year was in the plan and it was going to be happen. been asking is our field going to be so looking for it and we talked about it today that
the score is making decision tonight and they again discussed all the options that they heard that were rough to plan on and their thoughts were they really not in school during the highest part of the year so be as big of a factor and talk about it being left to play talking on the dirt has some great tools foring rocks out of our skin and stuff but their thought is just having something different than the that they have been on for years be helpful so they are really hoping that tonight there's a decision to get some thank you very much say one This is one project so other things that we to try to plan to do one of those things done lots of this is pro some things that we associate with this money
there are funds that have been used for things like that over time so that the system we are taking stuff and we continue to that as So I just wanted to out that ours and are shorted and it's hard to find. So that's just kind of on that second is this is an agenda versus turf and it's been plan for a few years now install turf to speak to the turf effects mr the temperature now we had the footall field some if if it's too hot up there if it's noticeable differed regardless of whether it was grass something has to be done with issues at schools and like just dealing with so although we're talking about million the cost of the is less than the cost of the actual dark working trainage which is the
majority of that so like the tur Our new is 199,000 EC B is 549 550,000 so the 1.5 million is actually work and work and everything like that. Even if we were talking about not doing the truth, we have a ton of money that we so on just getting the drainage issues taken care of. Thank you. Moving on to presentation results for the F sports season I don't know. I think you guys have the information that there if you guys have any questions regarding the survey if um some later player the year for volleyball defense player the year for football 22 athletes on first team 14 on second team 14 kids off game in state tennis gulf cross country first be a one championship for football so the highlight of our fall season moving into
winner we have 46 involved wrestling those amazing bas of those convenians is right now thank you did you do comparison of how many responded to the survey for sports compared to this year. Yeah, we had about I think 115 I think last year we had 63 this time and the reason I think is because I to the football we're still in season I had to get this parts of the coule weeks ago. communication is the lowest we different things about what are your to every time we going to talk to the coach going to do know keep doing the same things over and getting the same result and so um most of our coaches are doing in um biggest number uh profits is not anything plug to get information out. communication to one thing to
seeing Do you think that part of the communication problem is coaches on being to give them a little more responsibility right there in high school to relate the information to the parents from my own experience I And so I have to say to once the next without communication I would not known and I don't know which way right or like but I did feel like that was maybe kind of an issue but not an issue right because they are in high school now is responsibility to make things aware. player bas they use and to say that for me it's much more convenient everything is there you can see I think we have our kids need to be responsible as well if there's any You can always just go to notified us in real time. to
have something all the sports just thank you for thank you very foration discussion services trav1 schri manager I got my slid and so I'm just going to through this presentation of a highlight of our partnership with the district. As you all know, it's been a journey year for food service um online and on the district and I just want to highlight what we're planning on doing we're implementing to bring our kids into the cafeteria to increase our applications um and just keep moving forward. And after that I would open it up to discussion because I know you guys have a lot of questions about jobs and stuff more than this is just our team I decided you guys to have a visual. I didn't quite up there. She's way better in person. So um she's
just not up there right now. It's outside to so and then just a better partnership. So where we've been so we have been together for four plus years dealing with our COVID-19 restriction supply chain issues, UFCA nutritional standards changes refreshes, luxury models like ships and staffing in both the district and service and the biggest one going from CEP to the free reduced meal service. How we responded is taking innovative approaches. We have very dedicated staff with the district. Um and we have a huge partnership that supports all the systems that we've created and our main goal is the benefit of the students. That's our goal and that's the district goal and that's what makes us the best partnership resources. So with less way less federal and state funding we're utilizing different produce options as well
as working closely with the best office to ensure our protocols up with the free applications. So using opportunities we're working to get all car station set up that's been difficult with theing situations and the mobile stations at our secondary schools. We have some major labor and then extra positions that we're trying to create with all stations but our goal is continue student participation by giving them ultimate convenience you guys know our kids like to get and get out. just contin support training and purchasing power standards and programs to drive participation and student satisfaction oning refresh of the is to create a environment and increase community envel so just a couple um pictures of what we've been introducing this year all new items high school apple French toast. Um to the right is a waffle sandwich.
We've been doing more pasta salads and then option right there. It's kind of like an option turkey cheese chip anders. So those are just sort of the things we're doing this year to help increase the quality and the convenience of the right this is just a recuperation of all the standard programs that we all you guys have all seen them all but I just want to go again to show you what I'm trying to do to increase the participation. So we have the discovery kitchen, the standard choice and then a couple other program enhancements. So you guys have seen me do the discovery kitchens we're still implementing those. L we just recently did our ch days our secondary schools did a homemade some recipe card that was just kind of a fun winter programs we
have student choice which is just like a student program these which you guys talk about for years which we're going to impl this work kitchen recipe to the team the student choice student choice sorry this is all discovery made this presentation students are provided educational material and sometimes they can win a priz you know we put a sticker on the bottom of or something get more we this half tomorrow maybe so that's these programs work information so these are the monthly discovery kitchen themes as you can see for December it was spiced up so we incorporated that with our December theme of ch days and that's where came in we're trying a couple of programs into one because of our tower. Next month we will be doing the road trip around America quite figuring out
what we're going to do for tough. It opens up to the whole United States and food from all us. SP different concepts are all our different concepts and say for example we did the concept we would do kinds of or something they vote on one to go on the menu the next student choice works and then we advertise This is your choice. You know, we want them to know that their matter to us. So, studies are some fun photos of some kids enjoying their lunches just knowing that they take pictures of them and they enjoy their food. It's really cool. And I like that top one because it show us how interactive we are, how interactive every lunch lady do with these kids every day. back every day you know these kids tell we they
love them is huge because we do love these kids very important to us this example of the choice once again a little but they tast it they enjoy it but we did one years back ofology we did a pack of cheese over cheese just concepts like that. So what's next? What's this is kind of discussion to I think we're all on the same page on what's important to all of us it's happy students and fun experiences, hearing students in places, environmentally aware programs and fiscal responsibility. one but one of the most so much is watching in February that's so we're going to make that happy. right now to because I the biggest g that obviously it's the middle school high school missing on our lunch but that's also the highest r so you know one
of those things research on figure out which school or many schools you know it doesn't have to just be you figure out where on this one. last year with we are in the works to do it with different this year has been talking withinary program and we're working on getting another culinary show together we trying to put together all of theary teams the high schools that want to participate and have a contest with them all have a winner from each class of each show you include you guys as well as celebrity and a few other things and prices and voting and things like that second semester on that moment I do believe that is already in the process of how to do the competition thinking about that trying to bring to make the competition fingers
so that's glob so the will come in and do this thing and then we're thinking if everybody's on board the showdown would be Italian so title more comm to successful partnership these are just ways to our programs are always mindful of the environmental communication and surve technology easy to use out for our students and parents to tell us how we're doing programs in marketing cre atmosphere combat man providingous meals the district budget approach adaptability and the vast experience of our team's best practices we execute a financially responsible and mutually beneficial program so we're done so let's talk about ites for any just open it up to coms on challenges the make decisions we to program ratherion that there's a few things that have to work with this year process for qualified lunch getting that back
since it has been several years since that wasing to we also had to that's been district reservations everything we see that 52 to 53% of our stud that's about where we and so we continue to offer that there and and they had to apply for this um so this increas count decreas um do you want to tell a little bit about the that's going I think that's our partnership as well because you know I want to say you know you know always about schools and stuff you know the school things are um to make things work within what is provide a lunch breakfast soon that guidelines that we have control on doing things within that and that strips a lot of things down to provide for a cost that is affordable there's a lot of
work spend a lot of That's so we have those 53% but then we have those 47 48% that we have to charge for and so that things you raised your four meals for your students since before covid so also kind of thing who is participating in your paids it was a significant job we did run numbers um we ran basically 1920 school year so the yearovid C of went into place towards the end of that year. Um from last year from this year we're really only looking we have this year. compared August November of those three school years. You were done a pretty good job. I became director in 2023 last year you guys were doing an amazing CP um we are noticing though that yours are significantly down from 192 to 2425 school that
we have before 1920 year you looking about 2500 3000 per day operating school day if you take that back to last year youing 278als per and this year today November 2025 we 172 meals from November last year at CP to me trending on the negative scale negative you're actually building right you're actually reaching more students month over month so we do see that that number going up and that's a lot to do with team effort to get the kids meals that they want to eat um but it is hard to get back to the meals that we were seeing last year so we want to work with you all to make that as many students as we can. I want to be the team of this I also that is a lot of guardians not
filling out the frame raters applications. So many so many children that I just know from my being in the kitchen I just they just don't want to you know that's a hard to that's being working with and everybody on how to get those to those applications out that's biggest miss right al mail but it's not like policy place so with money to you service over students and like00 yes so we are in the deficit of3,844 some change this has from So back to 202 you know saying this year in fact in the years maybe so is um parents being familiar with campus and see those meal charges and see where the kids are because in the past we did up all and um we would be charged we would let it all kind of have
money on their account um you think back when it was still happening because they can pull it right down for you guys on bounces and to show you know without any identifying factors on 600 accounts with the balance on the district. So yeah, I will say that the district low balance letters recently. So that's going to make a huge difference. Um and we are also going to public media thing to show people how to check their campus balance and link that to the new application. you know any applications of blind as a traveling employee with what kind of information I can give a parent can you speak on I think that's we just have to I mean we really don't need to have information about your students right that's just have information so there definitely
needs to be a there more than happy to with getting the information out there we have a lot of a lot of success like we did not just if you're doing or something at the school will be there have the help get through it just can't get more and happy to if there are things that you would like us to with we can discuss who we know working with the balances we want to be isses going now we know resp we have sometimes we have students that we have some which allows us to provide some don't take out C in state budget those transfer so this transfer hope that be with that tell you this we Yeah. We are here for you. If there's something that you have fun about, please bring it to us.
It may be a fresh your neighbors needs as well. You're not the only ones going through this. Nevada. We will be here to support you and help you along the way. So and that's one of the reasons I want to come here to support her because I am here to support her. So it's been a very challenging year. It's been a very upsetting year notble to reach the reaching every day. We don't we don't do this for you know just getting our morning do this we love our student. So we can't continue to support them we want to. life is better overs we have discussions that hopefully I don't need because the overhead and all the expal to try and that money that should just be you want to as a result I agree 100%
of that oversight was when we were CEP we did not have like the system to see balance and our thought this assumed that they were putting money on their accounts as adults we ok so we were just assuming that now that now that we are in the process of being able to see balances again that's kind where all this is of come into light and um I do believe we've gotten several calls from south members you know we had to pull the point outs and the point outs and have paid because they just didn't know I don't I don't want make excuse for that but you know we are coming through with it and we do now since we can't see balances the updates are done we will be able to so we did create
for my staff with adult staff members but the past is the problem so I know we have lowered schools to district just know we st just for stud we actually increase the prices this year for because there was the district was losing money on that as far I was looking at the eligibility report that you to us this evening and it doesn't show any students are eligible because of students transition is that because all of them are already under snap and medic that concerns There's not any eligibility up for that. Usually for the record students are qualified underical so it's not necessarily sitting right at some of those students would also be qualified under. So they're in there. I promise I do that but they kind of fall into several categories where they could hit
that categorical question of course any questions first. I just want to thank you guys for doing with all of the changes that thr away this year. It's just no small no small feet you guys to deal with and just you know feed quickly and set up your systems and all the you know the face with choosing from GP. Um I had a couple of questions. One was just kind of the clarifying question when you were giving statistics earlier 2019 2020 year which was um prior to CDP you mentioned that were 2500 to 3000 for was that that's correct yes again that prior to the EP yes right so August of calendar to 24,784 so that 2478 in November that year 16 days 45.65253 average um so you're sitting actually September August in 3000 one month
and7 the next month um so depending on holid things like that wasn't here years ag but those thoseers you 1920 we didn't have enough so that Thank you for still the count still significantly I think inflation you know families a huge impct on you know where ourers were like you know to the last time that we know what is you know where we are home and those concerns when we talk about CP um whether or not to continue with that um then my next question is about the deficit that you mentioned 33,000 you said it was like year to beat you happen to know what that is for this not including I I don't exactly for you obviously it's concer this was 27000 so from the worried about having to numbers back because we start
all zero this year we to start zero we so that we see where that is that stuff was just to000 I just I mean that immediately it out to me is that you know that the district has incuring from reducing the meal price so that was you know decision that the made CL for working like when this is all and done and the amount of staff time spend all these have to go into place spending more than we would on our you know less than 25% portion what C would have been basically by I was the only one that was opposition and I on it. really disording here where we currently stand and it's by no means targeted toward you in your staff. I'm so appreciateful and um I mean everybody probably knows from my
r on this subject matter very touch students and nutrition and a child in high school and I asked her a few weeks ago just your perspective you know I asked her and some of our friends like what doing and said we're not eating to the gas station So when you mention tough ones high school eating you know but you know that's not exactly nutrious food for our students on a day. Anyway, appreciate what you're to be don't know if you know surve or even I know you're trying to always find ways to reach students and like what to things but I think the bottom l has to do with um families not having the to and not having it in they had been for the last few years de um if I think you done
surveys I don't know if you can if you can ask certain things about what do you do for lunch like normally like do you eat do you you know these are just for information of purposes how we can data that helps us any thank you for thank you yes we absolutely have we can up withom questions and things like that question thank you guys very much for you thanks Let's take a 57 Quiero me that we things um example nothing ever been h it's all out there it's transparent but in order to be more transparent like to develop something shows what we're doing I think back to my seen differentes on what we did never been really aware what is that launch purpose of what we doing or what is part of the plan so
me um is very connected to we want we want to we We want them to represent and have things that are that are better. dri around things we have grounds facilities we make decisions decisions we make decisions things people like decisions they don't point is that we need to take out people who work have a process people needs we don't think the So this is what it's more easier that environment success document servity projects have some things that we lots of things that are not capital things capital things do not capital projects do our school to attempt to make them look better of those don't expensive few steps transparency we not know the is one of our facilities so that has require safe environment that's crucial that we savirons and this is this is what
we're doing in to communication things better in the future we focus on safety clients asset protection and to pride I mean that has to be this building for example that's a wonderful building I working on this building comes in a lot especially people that here have some this building have this building of someation this is to some of things that we do with landaping we want to something miss all the time people here's what's happening want the be of all these things better man by documents well this doesn't place this is different with a different purpose what the cap see part like capital project schedule the board capital this would some of those out here some things that this interesting things associated with what happens sorry excuse me the ones on that page those are
ones that we have right now so that security system can updates facilities00 upgrades sy right now as September and special project so this things different so that's what the purpose of this is we just want to get the to see here's there's what we work with his office over there she has one of what things we're doing and then find the process to from students to get that information to help things that they're saying we want to see this want to see that we want primary facilities up those things we can see things that it's not it's not all about just about changing some changing things making things for environ So that's that's what the that's we have place so that something goes on the take care of these things so systems things like that
will make it you if it is easier for someone to rather work on that things that you might find out first So appreciate the work that's been put into this. It's always nice to be able to see that there are refer back to and that you are recognizing that stakeholders in the process with this plan that you're building. There are other districts or groups that have this type of these type of plans that have been tested and are consistent because you look at anything like that how other districts or groups with multiple sites um build their maintenance plans to make sure that you're covering and recognizing all the things that need to be addressed That's where some as well. of things I did some research to find some stuff that work on this because of
very large have a lot more complicated stuff different sources things that we don't have so that's something that we're doing may production to it might be sort of nice when looking at the spet if the items were coded to with those so that just like easy be like you know that's blue which is protection whatever that would be kind of a nice to know which category the safety and then also timeline things like you knowing where you know installation begins December And I know that this would just be like until we actually contracts and things even if it's going if we may have the anticipated fiscal year that is to be completed just the some of those back to this and try to find all security camera stuff here am of money that to such
as things like that so those Thank action of items on system document how we them to place things that they from the projects for their campus so projects that they want to do we can we have a to the soively make our school administrators are processing their is ultimately there's responsibility on that especially their school doesn't make those decisions I know what they need to know that some of things on the middle school that came from conversation with so like that we do things we want to make that just so that we can process and Stu all this assess highlight from questions here. So I have two looking for the high school budgeted $50,000 forers and then two years from then. In my mind I know sometimes money is not always to go a little
deer think what we are going to try to do is to have the building try the wor of isses that sense I know two different 650 for repairs just to your cover discussions strong support thating access control systems have a direct effect and that is tied to a district goal $40,000 for electrics in the high school what what's the plan security so from some companies to use so lockdown as well some of the discussion was K as they have to entry with the office to sign out feel that that would be a huge improvement enforcement I'm just wondering a project like that is almost to the capacity of having an engineer systems to in with access control and I know things to do every day and chase them down for different projects wonder if something
of that complexity is better to be something that we have any contact that I made with the company but presentation they show that war. So we're trying to talk to him and this morning we need to lots that we need some changes some of that first some of those and also one thing that we talk about some there for changing locations the doors themselves are very old millions of times over some of them to make some of the things work with that discussion considering considering high school have where there is camera to the outside is it with their single point so some solutions and there some other areas to the solutions to trend safety so it's complicated and we're working on have an answer soon the nextion of this some work on the field is
there have you looked into moving years thinking we have talked about looking things projects come again not as much as we do with little school um that's um they have all of you to try to get something on that because this is back see how it and hopefully some projects will be able to do something we would like to do to see them hereci committee have discussions about security high school that is still a concern to me so my expectation is that our next report that we start seeing some of those things safety is to So just making adjustments That's what we do with it the different projects and things developments and things like goes out tomorrow on there we can back later we have any new things on there with that so come back
next month with those changes have those changes comes back Hol the office manager high school just approached me within the last month and said that they are really limited on accepting pays because everyone's using to pay on admissions revenue games because people don't have way to pay so they just also the program just food truck trailer being to pays and also work learning program makes and stickers and all kinds of stuff that they use this for so we just we just different to keep all that stuff separate so that when everything comes in she can su to whatever program it needs to go to um so yeah just maintain yes I just a question on it looks like this is one fun being created but is there going to be a way to categorize and
keep separate perspectiv activities will have to go in and separate once. So I see like food keep spending money as much money for learning is there some mechanism that I don't think that there's going to be my spent out of this account. transfer to whatever number 25-03 specials we moving on toation documation with regulations process to keep the board's quite responsibility the adoption of the annual budget the must be reflected policies and the management must balance project for the general we executive expenditures the board is responsible for the changes any time until this taxation must action change the budget must be by majority of the requirements the budget is% of the very expenditures 1% 3% exp programs services programming practices with this process works back of things but existing programs as we to see what
what is the effect of what we are doing very studenti resources success of all students developing sy transparency and the way the so that's be there and knows a lot of things are requested we're trying to get to the process information about the effectiv what is making a difference and what can make a difference and sometimes there was things I guess that sound we need to see You need to see what is the effectively financial practice we have we something those things process controller it's going to be great um it says of train such a scrap to operate from brands those sources of probably use expenses such as expenditures resource and we do see when we we do things we do evaluate the long-term cost are many things that we start on with funds and
then something else f we to make a commitment to maintain for a time we have to prepare to that to say because putation about the doing that we don't want to in the flow so request so situation presentation prepare France February have the budget comm starts meeting I said next week and then um have days scheduled out necessary um the board has in January February um will be the second um so the request which talk about sh with the required invited to this feedback suggestions on contration to the option that budget su program of programs program environment years back to the things continue also measures existing programs and the class effectives programs and services and then at the very end the document that shows the entire which is one we try to for every year
you will see that budget we January 15th revenue pres to April for the next year but to theation so that means that the project thereation which is different than the develop taxation Ann strategic school this is why understand strategic goals and I have to have more updates uniform about that something that would the ones right now long things long so as well and performance it's very small as well but it's from 2020 so I don't know exactly we just provided to state that information that That's I don't 2021 to I'm going to make was 2019 2019 soy could change anyore Thank things possible continues to get her feet her timeline by state for stuff information I see there's some information we get from the state that helps us the budget over my question is there
any way to still left a few months earlier in the process on the state is I think that down the road we want to be in the spot to get there but have to happen at the points Um so like the has been to have some numbers to use some of that. doesn't like to be prepared J 15 2026 new year that because if you miss that you could be subject to my understanding medical 52 44.1 graduation policy 524 graduation graduation 441 scho graduation requirements graduation 52.4.4 5244.5 regulation 524.5 school4.64.7 standard disabilities request for support me Ok. here I I think that was some boards have board book study the book and we read a few chapters whatever we have item where we discuss we learn to have that spend a couple months or whatever
we decide gu discussion but focused on improvement discussions from last weekend I know we had in the board internship and we have had those discussions but I would really like to take the next step and actually look at agency options and explore with those prices December shouldn't be some cre that we got it's all we did last is that is we're not going to throw something on because it's going to be
