001good evening basketball fans and welcome to the orange pit here on the campus of columbus east high school for this evening's edition of the crosstown confrontation the first game will be seen is the junior varsity matchup between the men's columbus north bulldogs and the men's columbus east olympians this basketball game will be the culmination of this week's con crouch down confrontation series malachi tell us about the previous games that we had this week yeah this week uh congratulations to the columbus east girls swimming team as they picked up uh the start of the week for the olympians on tuesday and also the north the north boys swimming team as well they picked up wins on tuesday night and then columbus wrestling team congratulations they had a big win for them against columbus north and then

002last night we saw the girls team from columbus east really put the smackdown on the bulldogs so congratulations to them as well so it's been a fun week of sporting events between these two crosstown rivals and this year we finally get to have students in the stands that can enjoy the games alongside the players we're really excited to bring it to you tonight columbus north columbus east always fun we'll be with you here in a few minutes for tip-off in the orange pit so and as you see out come the olympians for their final pregame warm-ups and if this is your first stream with us this year you might notice a little change on the basketball court itself this year in columbus columbus east basketball ports got flooded in the torrential downpour we had during

003the late summer so the basketball courts here at columbus east got a fresh repaint and personally maokai i think they look much better i personally agree uh we got a new floor back before 08 from the 08 flood so that old floor wasn't that old but this new floor with the different color of wood on there really makes it pop out and sticks out and i heard the auxiliary gym is just as good like that too i've heard that the auxiliary gym if you look inside the lane it's a very dark brown and inside the three-point line is just a very beige color if you want to know what the auxiliary gin looks like just take that dark brown and flip it with the outside perimeter and that's what the oxygen looks like we are

005856 freshman number 12 masonry [Applause] freshman [Applause] and that is your co-op so those are your starters for tonight's junior varsity match and we are just moments away from tempo jacob i'd like to point out each team starting a couple of freshmen there and they're starting five for the jv team that's always good for coaching staff yeah it's always a good sign of things to come for these programs in the future jv is all about development if you get these kids playing high stakes games early on it'll only do good for them in the future looks like alex winslower will be doing the tipping for the olympians and damon edwards for the bulldogs and the bulldogs win the tip and they'll start on offense for the first possession looks like east is going back with

006their man-to-man off defense excuse me north looking to set up their offense get it to the ball handler number 10 robbie williams [Applause] they enter into the high post number 24 for the bulldogs philip mckinley misses his first shot and the olympians secure the rebound and will start their first offensive possession that was a good possession by each team for north offensively they got a good look but for east they were playing some good on ball defense that last possession and north extending their pressure out the olympians trying to penetrate the bulldog defense ball kicked inside can't finish the layup on the inside kayden lobdell missed the layup and on the other end number five for the bulldogs looks like they're gonna call that one on the floor so the six foot two junior damon

007edwards fouled on the shot they'll call it on the floor so the bulldogs will take it out of bounds each team showing on their defensive pressure here early as these olympians get a steal reeves will push it down the floor for the olympians a foul called on the baseline on the drive by number 33 jackson fiscal limits will take it out on the baseline that puts the team fouls all evened up at one and the olympians get it in towards the half court line a give and go on the inside and the first blood goes to the olympia jackson fishbow with the first two points of this game that was a great play call coming out of bounds they got the exactly the right look they wanted to and fish vote capitalized quick shot for

008the bulldogs can't go and the olympians looking to push the ball down to the other end three-pointer up for the olympians it's good number 35 for the olympians jake gilbert and the olympians off to a five-nothing run to start this ball game let's see if north can get something going offensively they got a few good looks but as we got it our first points here tonight i can't get much better on that look for the bulldogs blake osborne on the bucket as the olympians try to break the pressure can't quite do it and they'll turn it over to the bulldogs that's something i was looking forward to when seeing if each team would come out with some type of a press to start the game in a big rivalry game like this haven't seen too

009many turnovers to start this game which may be common in a rivalry game with so much anticipation as the bulldogs put up a three-pointer not quite off the back iron the loose ball goes out of bounds off the olympians it'll stay with the bulldog each team going after the rebounds they're crashing the glass real hard i'm anxious to see which team will be in the lead and the rebound column after the night as the bulldogs look to get a three-pointer it's long again on the three-point shot number 24 blake excuse me now there's number 24 phillip mckinley on the three-pointer it'll go out of bounds and it'll go to the olympians and the olympians can't break the pressure once again the second straight turnover and the bulldogs press seems to be working so far if

010you're a columbus north fan you want to see them capitalize off of these turnovers turn those turnovers into points and turnovers are going to be crucial going down the stretch here in this first half you can definitely tell north's looking to get the ball down inside the post maybe they were trying to get that shot to fall and open up their offense a little bit more and another turnover this time by the bulldogs their first of the night as the olympians look to push it down once again pastor reese and he'll pull it out set up the offense shot inside no good by number 33 jackson fishbow as the bulldogs push it down the floor can't get the layup to go and the olympians secure the rebound good job by the olympian on that one

011the bulldog thought he was going to try to take a charge and it kind of threw him off as he went up for the layup reese drives left kicks it back out up top to fishvee fishbow drives kicks it down to the baseline ball is deflected in another turnover by the olympians as the bulldogs drive can't get the shot to go osborne with the layup couldn't quite get it inside the hoop and a cold start for both teams here in the first quarter as number 33 for the olympians jackson fishbow not quite on the layup and the cold streak continues for both sides three-pointer not quite for the bulldogs but they do get the offensive rebound another three-pointer can't go and the bulldogs with an ice cold start from the three-point line i think this

012is a good time out taken by east to really settle this team down the both teams are coming out there you can definitely tell they're kind of nervous trying to get the butterflies out early so the olympians will take 30 seconds to talk things over and we'll take a break here we'll be back at the orange bit in just a moment for the jv coach for the o's this is his first northeast basketball game so i'm actually to see if he got any nerves as a coach and what he's going to do as a game play in this game to see if he can get his first ever win against columbus north in this rivalry game and it will be a big win nonetheless in this basketball game first east north game played on the

013brand new painted court as the olympians look to penetrate the bulldogs off defense looks like north maybe fell back into a zone look here try to throw off the olympians as after the timeout big three on its way not quite in the bulldogs secure the rebound and push it the other way number two nathan corley bringing it down the floor he kicks it to the corner and the three-pointer finally falls for the bulldogs robbie williams finally gets his first three-pointer to go and the bulldogs tied up here midway through the first quarter looks like the bulldogs are maybe in a 3-2 zone something along those lines or some type of zone and the olympians have an unforced turnover that's at least four or five turnovers now for the olympians here in the first quarter can't

014be a good sign of things to come [Music] it looks like the olympians will do the same thing a 1-3-1 zone look another three-ball on its way not quite off the back iron loose ball goes right to the bulldogs number five damon edwards on the finish and the bulldogs take their first lead of the ball game olympians having all sorts of trouble breaking this press and the bulldogs get yet another turnover and on the shot it's damon edwards he is fouled by number 33 jackson fishbow and the bulldogs will shirt their first two free throws of the night bulldogs are doing a really good job with their hands they're staying active moving their feet and being able to drive on the ball that's really showing in the turnover column here as we see the first

015substitutions for both sides the olympian 7 number 25 zach foster and i couldn't quite catch the bulldogs substitution and the second free throw is no good but the bulldogs grab their own rebound and they'll get another offensive possession so far north's been able to crash the offensive last here it's been able to turn into some other points as it looked like it was going to fall and rolled out and the olympians can't corral the rebound and north will get another possession it's alex windsor the freshman he probably has a bunch of nerves in this game it's his first time playing north as well and another turnover in this ball game it has been a turnover fest here so far in the first quarter as the clock runs under a minute the olympians looking to get

017a good box stop there by number 35 for the o's we got the over the back foul called on the bulldogs 5.8 seconds here let's see what the olympians are going to draw up here and the olympians check in fishvo for this first offensive possession as fishbow brings it up loses possession the bulldogs get a shot up at the buzzer and it goes a great hustle play there by number two nathan corley he did it all himself and took and got it off right before the buzzer so corley extends the lead for the bulldogs to five as we end the first quarter of play ten to five bulldogs as we turn your attention to the columbus east olympian cheerleaders [Music] right the olympians will get the ball to start the second quarter malachi what improvements

018can the olympians make to get the lead back to the first half i would say don't turn the ball over here and definitely get some better shots offensively but the bulldogs are doing a great job on both ends as there's another turnover there by the o's so the improvements haven't been made quite yet as the bulldogs miss an opportunity to capitalize off the turnover i think they also just need to slow down they're playing a little bit too fast and i think that's playing in favor in the bulldogs as a three-pointer up by reese just a bit long as the bulldogs push it down the floor and an easy layup for number 34 luke russell great pass ride in stride and he did a nice reverse layup to get his first two points of the

019night good job by the bulldogs defensively once again as a three-pointer up by the olympians it's good number 25 zach foster came off the bench just a few minutes ago and knocks down his first three-pointer of the night and there's one of those freshman we were talking about earlier on good defense there defense by the olympians but the bulldogs get it back loose ball and the olympians corral it and poke from behind it's number 10 robbie williams and he'll get an easy layup to extend the lead for the bulldogs robbie williams has five on the night so far hit a three pointer back in the first a blocking foul called on the bulldogs number two nathan corley ever since the bulldogs switched to their zone look the olympians have not been able to figure it

020out much called on corley it'll stay with the olympians shot up by reese from the three-point land not quite off it's a rebound by the olympians love to see it the smallest guy in the court got the offensive rebound there a good job corley and foster get into a jump ball in the corner possession will be with the bulldogs five minutes to go in the first half the bulldogs lead 14-8 as a turnover by the bulldogs in another jump ball this time it'll go to the olympia it's gonna be a physical game it looks like early on i don't think it's gonna slow down at all physical wise so something that always happens in a rivalry game like this ball is deflected out of bounds it'll stay with the olympians as number 23 for the

021bulldogs blake osborne checks in lake comes in in this quarter with two points he had a two-point bucket in the first quarter as a three-pointer by masonry he cuts the deficit to three the big-time shot and you could tell he definitely felt confident in that one as he left his hands he started walking away a little bit the bulldogs slowing things down trying to get a good look as they get the ball inside is not quite in [Applause] nathan had a great pass down inside got the look the bulldogs were looking for foul called on the inside [Applause] foul call on number 34 luke russell for the bulldogs as number 21 checks in for the olympians braden collins up on the inside no good rebound by the olympians shot on the inside no good another

022attempt and the olympians go oh for three on that possession from the field thank the olympians on that one when he got the rebound he needed to set his feet and go back up strong maybe get a foul called but he rushed his shot there too soon and a turnover by the bulldogs as fishbow kicks it up the floor three-pointer on its way not quite [Applause] the ball goes out of bounds off the bulldogs and it will stay with the olympia robert williams checking checks in he leads the way for the bulldogs with five the olympians probing the zone defense trying to find something to get success as they have had no luck until then fishbow knocks down a three and the game is tied at 14. i think that's what the olympians need to

023do get the ball down on side you can see the defenders crash down low leaves a three-point shot wide open and fish folk really stepped into that one that was a big time shot ties the game up at 14. as a foul called on the reach that'll be on number 25 zach foster for the olympia says first team fouls the olympians with three north has four team fouls as the bulldogs get inside left-hander not quite ball tipped out to the three-point line and the bulldogs get it once again tough shot by coram not quite and the olympians push it down the floor i think he was looking to draw the foul maybe i don't think he really wanted to shoot that but he tried to get the foul call good job by the bulldogs so

024far [Applause] and a foul called on the bulldogs nathan corley once again i believe that's his second foul if i'm not mistaken according to the scoreboard up there it looks like it is you see the olympians inside again kick out three three-pointer is good [Music] and the olympians lead by three with two and a half minutes to go in the first half i think if the olympians can get that three-point shot to fall the rest of the night north might have to switch up their defenses like i said they need to get the ball down inside and kick it out for three as the bulldogs trying to penetrate this olympians defense and corum gets it inside and gets it to go nathan corley gives him four points on the night three-pointer no good for the

025olympians and the bulldogs looking to retake the lead before the first half ends you can definitely tell each team likes to use a lot of screens when the man-to-man sets just north with being in their zone east really can't do it that much shot inside no good and foul called i believe that'll be on the olympians olympian fans not too happy with that call they were possibly looking for maybe a jump ball foul was called on jackson fishvo for the olympia as number 42 elam vanessa checks it for columbus east that gives jack fish folk three fouls just here in the first half maybe something to look forward to maybe in the second half maybe north tries to attack him get him in foul trouble as a full timeout is taken by columbus north we'll

026take a quick break here at the orangeville well jacob we say it all the time turnovers is a way to lose here and each team seems like they keep turning the ball over i don't know if it's nerves butterflies or what it is but each team doing a good job of making sure to turn the other get the steal defensively well the bulldogs look to hold on to it and get a good shot on this possession as a minute and a half remain in the first half the olympians lead the bulldogs 17-16. good defense by the olympians russell gets it inside number 41 bryce harriman and he gets the bucket to go plus the foul you saw east switch on that pick put mason reeves a little man on this on their big guy and

027he took full advantage of that and dropped the foul and has a chance to convert the n1 here so the bulldogs take the lead and have a chance to add to it here on the free throw by harriman free throw just a bit long and the olympians have a minute to go to retake the lead big-time shot collins once again his second three-pointer of the night and the olympians take a two-point lead with 40 seconds to go in the first half always looking to get a maybe backcourt violation calling that one i don't know if he was fully across the timeline yet or not let's see if north can tied up going at a half time or take the lead here tough shot won't go as reef kicks it up to florida collins he picks

028it back to van nest and they'll look to get the last shot as you can see the east coast in one shot we're coming up on six seconds here be a big momentum booster going into halftime for the o's collins kicks it inside to van nest van s has to get a shot up can't get it up no shot recorder for the olympians but they will go into halftime with a two-point lead columbus east 20. columbus north 18. i think he got lost he didn't know where to look he didn't know how much time was left on the clock because he could easily put it up for a reverse layup but unfortunately he thought there was more time left and the o's don't get the points they were looking for heading in the half time

031what are the keys for both teams as we go into the second half well i said it earlier in the first half and i'll say it again turnovers each team had their fair share of turnovers in that first half and east just needs to keep working the ball inside get the defenders if they're going to stay in that zone to crash down kick it out for a good shot it doesn't even have to be a three-pointer but just a nice mid-range shot and for north they just need to keep using their on-ball screens gets mismatches if east is going to continue to switch with their man-to-man defense absolutely maokai and following the conclusion of the junior varsity match we will also be broadcasting the varsity match between the olympians and the bulldogs tonight so stay

035third personal it's like north remaining in that zone look three pointer by the olympians no good and a foul called on the loose ball it'll be on columbus north number 34 luke russell called on the foul luke russell not happy with the call really didn't see what really happened went down there there's just a bunch of people jumping for the ball the official signal there was a push of some sort but i didn't quite see what exactly happened either way it'll be olympian ball as the three-pointers up just a bit long and the ball will go out of bounds and go to columbus north i saw what easter trying to do they're trying to rotate the ball quickly so north couldn't adjust in their zone look got the look they wanted to just a tad

036bit long in the shot as the bulldogs looking to take the lead for the first time in the second half started the half down by two scored in the first possession and there's been no points since it's been a game of run so far north when it was up what ten to five and east came back and the bulldogs stepped out of bounds before making that pass so a turnover on the bulldogs and will go to the olympians long pass intercepted by the bulldogs has a three-pointer no good and a loose ball foul called on the bulldogs looks like luke russell will get called again with the push luke russell will be his third team's third foul here in the second half and as the foul is made number 31 kayden lobdell checks in for

038the blockout on the free throw on libdell who just checked in and he'll also pick up a kickball violation on the inbound so to stay with the bulldogs you definitely tell north on their inbound players are definitely trying to get it on either side of the blocks to get a good layup there as they get it in right there and out of bounds east basketball and the bulldogs have trouble getting it inbounds and the olympians will get possession fish vogue just short on the three-pointer and the ball will go to the bulldogs the olympians thought it maybe got tipped hoping it would have stayed out on their end but the ref did not see that i didn't see it get tips either but that's what the olympians fans were looking for good play [Applause] met

039at the rim but a foul call on number 32 for the olympians alex winslow an aggressive take by the bulldogs by number five damon edwards and he'll be rewarded with two free throw attempts he's got three points so far give him four points with that made free throw the second half is kind of certain like the first half was for the bulldogs as edwards gets the second free throw to go the bulldogs lead 24-20 with four minutes to go here in the third quarter as the bulldogs get another turnover ensuing layup no good offensive rebound can't go foul called another call to jump ball me personally i think he called that quite fast i don't think anybody really had a possession on it for it to be a jump ball so a jump ball called

040by the officials possession arrow points to the olympians so they catch a lucky break on the foul call collins checks in he hit two big three pointers in the first half floater up by the olympians no good lubdell had a good look at the bucket but couldn't quite get it to go as a shot up gets a friendly shooters roll robbie williams williams seven points on the evening so far as reese kicks it to the corner ball deflected fade away shot no good and the bulldogs look to add on to their run definitely not the shot the east olympians were looking for on that one a step back jump shot off of one foot i think we could get a better shot than that big three-point shot there by the point shot by philip mckinley

041extends the lead to nine for the bulldogs and the olympians want to talk things over an 11-0 run for the bulldogs and the olympians find themselves in a quick hole we'll be back here at the orange pit in just a moment here we go hey uh you can definitely tell the bulldogs came out with a ton of energy and uh enthusiasm to start this second half and it's shown as they went on a big run here and that caused the olympians to use two of their timeouts already here early in the first half both teams have struggled from the field overall but north on a little bit of a hot streak here in midway through the third quarter and that's helped them extend the lead out tonight this press is giving the olympians somewhat of

042a struggle here good pass inside pass inside of lebdell can't get the first shot to go gets the second attempt to go and the lead is cut to seven two point basket his first two points here in this crosstown rivalry cuts the lead here for the olympians shot attempt no good but a foul call and that will send blake osbourne to the line for two shots lake osborne has six points he went two for two earlier here in the second half foul was called on the olympians number 12 mason reeves as osborne gets the first free-throw attempt to go two minutes left here in the third quarter the bulldogs lead the olympians 30 to 22 in what's been a close tight game all the way through as the bulldogs tie their largest lead of the

043night see if the olympians can get something going offensively he sees to do a better job at spreading the court as you saw there they had two people in the same area and when you're playing a zone defensive team you got to be able to spread the court and go inside those little holes that the defense gives you as they try to get it inside there was a foul call on the bulldogs so the olympians will take it out of bounds on the baseline reef's three-point attempt is blocked by number five damon edwards i believe that's the second time he's blocked a three-point attempt for the olympians yeah i believe so i was about to say that he's got one on foster and then he just got one on reeves big three on its way

048of the quarter won't go the bulldogs get an offensive rebound the bulldogs lose possession but the ball was tipped it'll stay here with columbus north getting in down low inside an inbounds play ball deflected by collins but he stepped out of bounds so it'll stay with columbus north malachi if you're the bulldogs here and you have a nine point lead with just a quarter to go what's your game plan for the rest of the game i would definitely try to kill some time and just get a good look not don't force anything up just run your offense if you have a good clean look go ahead and take it but don't force anything if that's what i'm going to do if i'm if i'm the bulldogs as they take a timeout they probably didn't like

068to last night's team the girls basketball they had a dominant win over columbus north without further ado jacob how are you feeling tonight i am very excited to be back in this gymnasium it's been two years since this game has been played with fans in the stands and i am really excited to see the electric atmosphere that always is the crosstown confrontation an electric is a perfect word to describe this atmosphere right now both sides are slowly but surely feeling up and as you look behind me it's just as pacted as it is on the far side but let's get into the teams tonight the most important reason that we are watching this so we'll look at the home team the columbus east olympians who are coached by coach shitty they come in tonight's matchup

069with a record of 1-5 and 0-1 in conference play their first win of the season was the trinity lutheran from seymour winning 44-22 and their losses have this year have been to notable teams across the state silver creek noblesville whiteland and bedford but i'm sure in the locker room for the east east olympians they've had this game scheduled and march on their calendar for quite some time now so jacob how could a win like this really help this team moving forward for a team that struggled to get wins on the board such as the olympians a win like tonight would really boost their conference knowing that they're able to beat a team as talented as columbus north would go a long way for helping this team improve the rest of the season great points there

070on the bright side for the o's they're still early in the season so a lot of changes can really be made here what are some things you think the olympians need to do to get better as the season goes on they just need to trust themselves and trust the process every day in practice you have to go 100 percent trying to get better don't worry about the game results this quite yet worry about them in march not in december just try to get as better as you can every day in practice and use these games not as a judge of winning and losing but rather getting better and getting ready for march in the tournament as a team the olympians come in averaging 45.5 points per game and shooting 42 percent from me on the

071three-point line which jacob today the three-point shot is so crucial in an offense how can the olympians use this to their advantage here shooting 42 from me on the three-point line well we watched in the jv game both teams took a lot of three-point attempts on both sides now they started off cold which meant both teams had a very low scoring first half the three-pointer can help you but can also hurt you if you're on it you're really going to boost your team scoring if you're missing it's really going to hurt your team's confidence so both these teams if they're able to make the three-point shots early it might be a good night for them my bad i didn't mean to cut you off there we're still trying to get chemistry going on but some

072key players for the olympians obviously senior will record and junior ben silva but who are some other key players that we'll see in the white orange here tonight well you want to look at the bench we're not sure who's going to come off the bench right away for the olympians but whoever it is needs to bring a spark usually the starters are gassed early in the game like this the bench players need to come in and put a spark in this offense for the olympians and same goes for columbus north whoever they bring off the bench first as a sixth man needs to bring energy to the floor and bring in a fresh spark for the bulldogs there we have it can we see the o snap a two game losing streak here tonight in

073this crosstown rivalry game we shall see here shortly so we'll move on to the visitors the columbus north bulldogs who has a very well coached team who are coached by coach ferguson the blog's coming to this rivalry game with a 4-2 record and have not yet played a conference game the bulldogs started this season on a two-game winning streak winning over heritage christian and jennings county then the bulldogs lost to an hhc opponent seymour and got back on a two-game winning streak winning over silver creek and martinsville and lost their last and most recent game to fishers jacob every game has been close but two for the bulldogs how can playing in close games early on the season be beneficial to a big rivalry game like this well there's no way to replicate a tight

074game situation in the fourth quarter in practice i know coach ferguson is a good coach but no coach in the world can replicate situations like that being able to get the game experience in close games like that for columbus north has been nothing but beneficial and if tonight's games happens to get down in a situation like that you always want to favor the team that's been in it the most amount of times so as the team the bulldogs come in averaging almost 10 more points in the olympians they come in averaging 55 points per game 21.1 rebounds 9.3 assists and 7.3 steals columbus north has some weapons and some well-rounded players such as obviously sam king and cooper horn both averaging and double digits and points but north has a lot of well-coached and well-rounded

078locked in with all the noise as you're warming up across from the opposite team student section how important is that to really hone in and lock in before the game you know a player will tell you that doesn't bother them at all but they're just telling you that so you don't do it to them you know it's really hard to focus when there's thousands of people shouting your name and cheering and yelling when you miss a shot you really gotta hone in on playing for your team and not for the people in the stands if you can focus on those few individuals in the locker room with you it's a lot easier to focus and a lot easier to focus on what you need to do to win the game there you have it we'll

079take a look here for the last 10 years of the rivalry game being played north leads the series 6-4 that's within just the 10-year period austin north has won the last two straight rivalry games but a good close look here cool stat for the past 10 years the longest winning streak has only been two so with that being said east has a chance to end the two-game winning streak and north has a chance to be going a three-game winning streak for the first time in 10 years how hard is that to go on a long winning streak in a big rivalry like this rivalry games you can throw records out the window the emotions are so high anything can happen that's why these that's why this rivalry series never has too many long streaks it's

084five you mentioned earlier on in the broadcast luke harmon and ferguson in for the bulldogs so folks the main event of this week against the crosstown rivalry the columbus north bulldogs and the columbus east olympians we are all set and underway here in the orange pit as north wins that's it and i expect to see a sharp columbus north offensive possession to start this game my head coach from high school in football coach gotta said the first six minutes of every game is crucial i think that plays a factor in every sport as they get their offensive rebound and stays down on this end basketball something you talked about early making sure north does not get offensive rebounds they got one early there that's not a good sign for things to come for columbus sev

085king just out physically corded on that rebound and good defense there by according to get the block and the olympians get a good stop here early on it'll be interesting to see if east is able to push the ball on the fast break after they get those defensive rebounds north north sets up on defense they're hard to beat nor those fast break points will be crucial for the olympians north is very long very active as they get a turnover there [Applause] harmon has it on the baseline out to king he fires up at three and it's good sam king for three it is hard to guard a guy who is that big and is that lethal from deep let's see let's hope sam king for the olympian's sake isn't able to do that all night
