action three minutes and 40 seconds to go before our first game tonight the eagles are definitely ready for tonight's match up and the rock creek bulldogs finishing up getting close to the end of their warm ups doing some free throw drills boxing each other out [Music] we've got a new microphone here tonight and so just testing that out and i apologize if it takes us a little bit to get it dialed in ah a minute and 30 seconds to go before we tip off tonight the young lady i see at the line right now tys jessup we're definitely going to be seeing her making a lot of plays tonight you'll definitely hear her name [Music] in 10 more seconds we'll go ahead and get started here on the ebl game of the week [Applause] and
gentlemen [Music] [Applause] [Music] is [Music] during the entire game and now i'd like to introduce [Applause] number one delaney [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] number three [Music] [Applause] eagleteen [Applause] good [Applause] number one number three [Applause] please [Applause] like [Applause] [Music] three [Applause] i don't know about you but that was awesome just to hear the passion and the energy behind the announcer tonight ready for a great night of ebl action between the mount healthy eagles and the rock creek bulldogs and we're about set for tip-off here sorry and addison dean with the tip-off ties jessop takes the ball of the court dribbles down the right side and takes the first shot and just a little strong out to 23. and mount healthy comes up with the rebound oh and there's jessep right away number 23
up and just a little bit quick there turnover here early [Applause] mount healthy inbounds the ball [Music] takes the ball down the right side of the court [Music] [Applause] one of the things you'll definitely see from both teams tonight is some great defense historically mount healthy as well as rock creek always tough on both the boys and girls teams well coached coach moremino for not healthy and katie hansen for raw creek appreciate all of the men and women who take their time to volunteer as coaches and oh very nice number 42 mount healthy whoops scores the first points and i believe that was smiley yes jaylee smiley i knew that right away i remember watching her mom play some basketball growing up and jaylee oh very nice shot by rock creek who comes back with
the two-pointer and rock creek gets it finds 23 over to dean [Music] while dean is generally the tallest girl on the court she's also really good with the ball handling but on the reverse layup just a little short it will be a jump ball it will stay with rock creek [Applause] [Music] into jessup who hits it number two oh oh good defense from rock creek and there they are with another jump ball this time possession goes to mount healthy smiley inbounds it finds number two tess mormino trapped in the corner by rock creek mormino dribbles through the trap and rock creek picks up a foul smiley inbounds it again looking for a teammate can't get it in oh she gets it in but there's jessup once again jessup goes to the top of the key
finds addison dean over in the corner she takes a shot and it's good [Applause] dynamic duo jessup and dean mormino down low to 20. oh and there's jessep once again hey sorry about that folks there's jessup oh and but there's smiley with the rebound and jessup gets it back to dean top of the key thought about it and called for travel [Music] smiley will inbound the ball looking for a teammate oh and there's rock creek once again with good defense number 14 this time finds her teammate a little strong by number 20 and smiley with the rebound looks to mormino mormino dribbles it and a foul called by referee dean layman ball side out so far six to two little over five minutes to go [Applause] and finds number 52 in the corner who looks
for her teammate number 20. and you got to make yep even though it is an over and back the coach mormino definitely wanted his girls to get that ball so that rock creek couldn't get it and that's one of the beauties of this ebl everyone's learning everyone's doing the best that they can and another learning opportunity there that even if the ball goes on the other side you still got to get it don't want to make sure want to make sure that the opposing team doesn't get it so we'll take a timeout four minutes 50 seconds left in the first quarter hey i'm standing up here courtside with the announcer from tonight go ahead and introduce yourself what's going on my name is devon and i used to do this in high school and i've
got a son out here and it's it's a lot of fun when i get to do for the elementary and good old dad gets to announce the kids so it's a lot it's a lot of fun and i get i'm i'm really looking forward to the rest of the games though awesome and i think we also share in common we're a part of the diesel baseball program pretty cool he's repping that hat and devin did an amazing job announcing those girls and i'll look forward to hearing him i'm sure during the second game where he'll get to announce that for his son [Applause] four minutes 36 seconds to go in the first quarter six to two rock creek still with the lead [Music] miley hatfield inbounds it finds number 11. padilla [Applause] this time dean
will inbound it finds her teammate out top [Applause] and dean will continue to dribble down the right side looking for a teammate finds jessup in the corner and it's good [Music] little aggressive there good defense but hatfield will inbound the ball looking for a teammate [Applause] and rock creek continues to play [Applause] swarming defense dean inbounds it to jessup [Applause] [Music] jessup crosses her over finds dean on the left side dean dribbles it down a little strong but able to be kept in bounds by a teammate another ball up and dean gets the rebound puts it up and mount healthy hatfield comes down with it but it will be a jump ball half field inbounds it looks to mormino but there's jessup [Applause] i need you to pay attention jessup gets it finds number one
humphreys who finds dean a little bit long but there's another rebound number 22 sophie engelwow [Applause] dean inbounds the ball finds jessup over the right side back to dean [Music] dribbles to the left side clears out that corner once again to jessup open shot in and out but there's dean on the other side with the rebound this time number one carly humphries comes down with the rebound but after a pass it will go out of bounds and hatfield will inbound the ball looks for a teammate finds number 30. driving down the right side of the court will be fouled by humphreys that was london klein bringing the ball down the court and with one minute 26 seconds left rock creek leads in the first quarter eight to two [Applause] okay giving a little instruction to
my cameraman over here appreciate the opportunity that bcsc has whether it's generally it's the c4 program at columbus eastern columbus north but tonight it is a little father-son tutelage and so appreciate your patience as well as uh your attention as we tune in to this matchup between mount healthy and rock creek hatfield will inbound the ball she finds mormino [Applause] and it'll go off of dean [Applause] all right mourinho steps in to pass it looks for hatfield but there's dean again [Applause] less than a minute to go and hatfield will go to take it out once again looks for mormino fakes and dribbles and clock continues to run mormino will go to the line and the ladies have the option to either shoot from the 15 or the 13 and mourinho stepped back from the
main line and there's jessup she takes it down and it's good that'll put rock creek up to 10 with 15 seconds to go look for number 30 london klein another steal by jessup [Applause] 8.2 seconds left in the first quarter and there's principal sprong from mount healthy oh so close [Applause] definitely appreciate our principals both mrs sprong and mrs detmer out here to support their student athletes and appreciate south side elementary for hosting all of our games this year with ebl thanks also to forced construction company for sponsoring this live stream as well as all of our live streams at both columbus north and columbus east tonight there's a home game for columbus east senior night against brown county which you can watch if you'd like to on the columbus east athletics youtube channel [Music]
the game will start around 7 30 depending on when the jv contest is if done like to tune in to that game columbus east versus brown county you can go to the columbus east athletics youtube page columbus north athletics also has a youtube channel where you can catch some of their indoor action over the weekend i know that the blue and white scrimmage took place for the boys and mormino again with it aggressive defense from rock creek called for the foul and mount healthy is in the bonus more amino great shots good for the first free throw and wow that's awesome i know as a fifth and sixth grader playing basketball myself one of the most nerve-wracking things of shooting those free throws and mormino did a great job of sinking both of them 10
to 4 now rock creek over mount healthy second quarter action inbounds the ball number 14 out up top to dean dribbles over to the left side good defense from mount healthy all around dean dribbles it kicks out to a teammate oh but called for a travel ball back to mount healthy and smiley will inbound the ball looking for either oh gets it into number 20 chesney routine finds more mino who dribbles and she was foul she'll go to the line 4-2 [Applause] mormino once again will go to the line and sinks another one she is on a roll five to ten oh and just a little short this time because it didn't hit the rim they will call it dead and will go to and out of bounds inbounds it into jessup who will dribble
it down looks for a teammate but good defense from mount healthy there was padilla with a shot but she was blocked looks like oh emma armstrong had a really nice attempt there but called for the turnover ball will go back into smiley smiley gives it to padilla padilla will drive but there's jessep once again and foul by mount healthy 650 left to go in the second quarter inbounds it to jacqueline detmer looks for armstrong back to theis that's claire gilmore eventually over to emma armstrong let me update the score here 12-5 good defense from rock creek oh and look there's jessup once again looks for a teammate but oh wasn't ready for it it'll go back to mount healthy smiley will inbound it substitutions now for rock creek smiley will inbound the ball oh but
there's jessa with some good defense once again but back to padilla [Applause] oh [Music] nice shot by padilla [Applause] and good you know it's great to see both teams and making those free throws that's a huge encouragement for the players as well as the coaches inbounds it [Applause] and that's madison gourley with the ball [Applause] looked for sophie ingle out but just a little bit over her head ball will go back to mount healthy and smiley will inbound the ball looking for mormino swarming defense from rock creek all around trapped in the corner but looks like called for a foul detmer called for the foul that will bring mount healthy back to the line i believe they're in the double bonus now so mormino will get a couple of free throws and sinks another one
so far mount healthy has been strong with the free throws and another good free throw gourley passes it to jessup jessup's fouled gourley will impa inbound the ball finds jesup jessica will dribble on the left side and takes the open shot oh just a little strong was rebounded by gourley but took a few steps it will go back to mount healthy and smiley will inbound the ball two minutes 45 seconds left and there's armstrong comes in for detmer [Applause] heidi kirkhoff tries to get it oh but there's gourley on the defense but there's more meno for mount healthy [Applause] and once again fouled and mormino will go to the line [Applause] really been a game of free throws so far as for the points for mount healthy but one of the skills that every indiana
hoosier needs to learn how to do is to shoot the basketball whether they play for a team or not it's just a fun skill to have to be able to play at the house or at school during pe or like tonight for your team good rebound offensive rebound by healthy oh and a put back that was kaden spradling and jessup wastes no time down for the nice layup [Applause] [Music] and once again good defense by jessup ties the ball up ball will come back to rock creek armstrong will inbound the ball [Music] looks for oh she'll eventually get it back to herself looks for tice and then once again armstrong with it about a minute to go less than a minute running clock [Applause] armstrong will inbound the ball [Music] and they're straddling with the
defense able to get it to number 10 mia petro back to mormino 30 seconds around looks for her teammates trapped in the corner [Applause] oh we got somebody open oh and five seconds is called clock continues to run armstrong will inbound it finds her teammate [Applause] smiley five seconds there's mormino [Applause] and that's the end of the first second quarter [Applause] that'll be halftime now 11 to 14. that'll take us to halftime we'll take a break and we'll be back with you in just a few moments oh [Music] is [Applause] i don't get like dancing i don't know okay uh oh hmm [Applause] you you say i need to brush mine tomorrow all right we're getting ready for the second half of the first game of this doubleheader ebl game of the week between rock
creek and mount healthy so far 14-11 rock creek with the lead really a good effort from both sides it's been a lot of free throws for mount healthy and really it's been tice jessup who's been once again just scoring a lot of points for her team that smiley inbounds the ball to murmino [Applause] and there's once again 52. oh so close kayden spratlin was almost there just in and out on that putback gourley will inbound it up good defense there by mount healthy [Applause] gourley will inbound it for rock creek armstrong dribbles it down the court but trapped in the corner finds gourley looks for number one hey nice shot by rock creek that was carly humphries with the with the shot heidi kirkhoff dribbles it down the court on that right side [Applause] fouled
and now smiley will inbound the ball finds mormino oh there's smiley all alone oh just a little strong and that'll be gourly but she is fouled [Music] [Applause] looks for a teammate able to find armstrong [Music] armstrong from three and a rebound [Applause] that was kirkoff with the layup and she will go to the line [Applause] [Music] it and she'll get another one at the line due to a penalty [Music] and a put back by matt healthy [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and smiley with good defense [Applause] smiley will inbound the ball [Applause] mormino in the corner finds smiley again oh just in and out a jump ball possession will go to rock creek six and a half minutes left in the third quarter a lot of energy from both teams here oh and up and there's
armstrong she takes it [Music] armstrong again and she'll be fouled and she'll go to the line four or two [Applause] just a little strong on the first free-throw [Music] oh made an adjustment but just a little strong they're smiley with the rebound once again finds kirk off kirkoff dribbles down the floor she's wide open oh and tried to get it up and just was a little bit too quick with her hands there ball goes back to rock creek armstrong she'll be called for a travel that time it'll come back to mount healthy [Applause] number 40 will inbound the ball for mount healthy that's miley hatfield gets it into patia padilla padilla finds kirkoff over to number four mangus but that'll be a turnover and it will go back to rock creek gourley will inbound the
ball looking for jessup but swarming defense from mount healthy back to gourley and it'll go out of bounds and back them out healthy close game here four minutes left to go in the third quarter padilla will bring the ball up the court finds kirkhof back to padilla kirk off to hatfield and she shoots it and scores nice shot by hatfield [Music] [Applause] there's tice once again though brings it up the court and immediately comes back with a nice layup each time mount healthy has got a little bit of momentum ties jessup takes it down the court and scores two points hatfield once again wide open oh oh just barely in and out but there's kirkhoff with the rebound she finds padilla both teams hustling all over the court and there's gourley back to jessup 18
to 15. [Applause] oh defense from padilla oh but unfortunately it will head back towards rock creek both teams hustling on both the offense and defense close game corley will inbound it finds dean who's back in the game she'll be wide open for the layup oh and it's an and one opportunity for dean yep because of the foul she'll go to the line for that in one opportunity 20-15 2 minutes 13 seconds to go and there's dean who completes the three-point play hey if i could just give a a small request if you're watching this stream first of all i want to say thank you second of all if you wouldn't mind sharing this maybe on your social media there's a share button that you can select that you're watching within youtube share this on your
social media so that other people can enjoy this great game kirk off wide open oh and there's jessup with the defense she'll dribble it down oh and she's fouled by mourinho jessup will go to the line we want to be able to share this so that as many people in our community can enjoy this ebl game of the week our goal is for each week to at least stream one game this week it is mount healthy versus rock creek and by the end of the season we'll be able to stream at least one game for every single elementary school and then we'll stream all of the games during the playoffs [Applause] clock continues to run 40 40 seconds left hatfield will inbound the ball to kirk off defense gets it back to mourinho defense from
dean jessup dribbles it down oh and she's fouled with 13. this will probably be the end of the quarter by the time these free throws are taken yep she still yep she's still got the opportunity to shoot those free throws it will be the end of the third quarter i apologize had to update the score there it's 22 to 15. and she sinks the first one [Applause] oh and just a little strong on the second that will officially end the third quarter will go into the fourth quarter 23-15 rock creek over mount healthy and here's the rock creek cheerleaders [Music] [Applause] and as much as we've been able to celebrate both boys and girls basketball teams it's great to have those cheerleaders on the court cheering on their teammates and classmates it feels good to
be here in a relatively capacity crowd some sense of normalcy we're all massed up except for those playing the game which is still the policy here at bcsc but while they're playing able to unmask find smiley who makes it it's good [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it's 23-17 fourth quarter nine and a half minutes to go close game both teams showing a lot of hustle there's ingo out with the ball looks for armstrong but good defense from kirkhoff who then ties it up jump ball possession will go back to rock creek gourley will inbound the ball finds eagle out oh but defense there from mount healthy delaney kreider able to tie it up back to smiley who looks for her teammate down there number 20 chesney rutan [Applause] oh kirkoff so close with it and another jump
ball possession will i think possession should have gone [Applause] it's amount healthy but that's okay this time it will go to mount healthy the reason i said that is possession needs to go back and forth every jump ball sometimes in ebl there's a number of uh jump balls though and so possession can go back and forth pretty quickly kirkhof brings up the ball after a pass from smiley dribbles between two defenders down underneath ah called for a travel i liked it though it kind of reminded me of some globetrotter dribbling there gourley finds armstrong and smiley comes up with it able to find her teammate over on the right side get to back the kirk off who will dribble the ball of the court and she's fouled minutes 24 seconds left and smiley will inbound
the ball able to find kirk off dribbles it around dean looking for an open teammate able to find kreider kirk off with it tries to drive oh just a little too strong on the pass and the ball will go back to rock creek inbounds it to dean dean dribbles down the right side able to find a teammate who puts it up and it's good [Applause] my vision is not the best so i will have to see who that was great shot by number 11 autumn trailer but quickly smiley able to respond and it's to 25-19 you can feel the energy in the room both teams the intensity as the fourth quarter is underway six minutes left 25-19 both squads showing a lot of heart during this matchup dean will inbound the ball looks for trailer
oh but it's a little strong and the ball will go back to not healthy [Applause] [Music] timeout taking on the four five minutes and 45 seconds [Applause] uh smiley will inbound the ball five minutes 45 seconds left finds kirk off dribbles on the right side gets a pick oh looks for smiley [Music] [Applause] and another jump ball possession will stay with mount healthy look for smiley to find kirk off and then go towards the hole well she goes down yup but it was well defended there by rock creek kirkhoff able to get it drives to the right side puts it up oh just a little too strong number 20 able to come down with the rebound and she was fouled [Applause] got to be getting close to the bonus here might start shooting free throws
sometime soon smiley will inbound the ball finds kirk off dribbles around looks for a teammate oh no and ball oh stays with mount healthy due to the defense that hit the ball finds kirk off trapped on the right side looking for a teammate finds number 52 to smiley puts it up and it was yep tipped once again ball will stay with mount healthy [Applause] now healthy has a nice play here either number 20 yep number three we'll go to the corner look for the second option yep nice oh but great defense by rock creek and another jump ball this time ball will go with rock creek under four minutes to go now dean will inbound the ball tries to push it nice but then back to mount healthy finds kirk off [Applause] smiley and ball
will stay with mount healthy 52 wide open oh just a little strong [Applause] and dean clears it left side brings it up to court and she is fouled both teams got to be near the bonus now yep it is one and one dean will take some free throws three minutes ten seconds to go this will be a one in one opportunity dean whose sister getting ready to play tonight senior night at columbus east and she makes the first one two in a half minutes to go fourth quarter continue the clock continues to run dean with her second free throw [Music] see if she can convert oh and just a little off and timeout actually not a timeout tys jessup will return in the game for a trailer smiley inbounds the ball to kirkhoff kirkhoff looks
for her teammates yep gets up gets a screen and there's dean who is fouled who will go back to the line under two minutes to go looks like the clock stops so it's one minute 58 seconds left [Music] um uh and dean will shoot the free throws one and one still oh and just a little off but jessup is there puts it up [Applause] this time number 11. excuse me number 14 jacqueline detmer will go to the line oh just a little strong to the right but she gets two free throws oh and just a little strong but there's dean for the rebound who puts it in that'll be 28-19 one minute 40 seconds left to go kirkhoff dribbles it up and down the court defense up able to find her teammate and defense good
defense from rock creek detmer ties it up but ball will stay with mount healthy smiley inbounds the ball able to find 52 [Applause] oh good defense once again by humphreys gets the ball to dean who will dribble it up the court she pushes it shoots it gets her own rebound able to find detmer and there's dean again jessup smiley comes down with it gets it to kirkhoff who will push the pace down the court [Applause] gets a screen continues to dribble finds kreider who shoots it oh just a little short [Applause] and the ball will go back to rock creek 30 seconds left the ball goes into tice jessup who dribbles it between the defenders finds her teammate dean oh called for the turnover can we get a clock stoppage be nice to see this
last play smiley gets it into her teammate oh wait keep going forward 10 seconds ball will go back to rock creek and that will be the ball game to 19 rock creek girls win game one of the doubleheader ebl game of the week brought to you by force construction company we'll be back in just a few minutes [Applause] i gotta get this [Music] [Applause] hey [Music] ah uh [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] all right we got about two minutes left to go until game number two of our double header ebl game of the week presented by forced construction company in game number one rock creek able to win against mount healthy i know that it'll be definitely a competitive game too just watching some of the warm-ups and already gotten to watch rock creek once first

he pushes it but there's craig with the defense once again oh and just moving a little too fast there on the offense we're not healthy coaches say hey just slow down take it easy we got time six minutes 42 seconds left good defense once again but kester able to come out with it but he is fouled by mount healthy six and a half minutes to play and i believe yes rock creek is in the bonus they'll shoot one and one kester at the line clock will continue to run until two minutes left in the final quarter so this will be a one in one shot and just oh there's brandon though but he will be called for over the back call himself now healthy inbounds it crosses the center court gets a screen to the
left side finds 24 over to redardy oh and good defense by brennaman ball will stay with my healthy rodarty to pass it in it's his teammate craig oh then finds the passer in the corner for an open shot but just a little bit too strong brandon comes up with the rebound pushes it to the left side the lefty finds arnhold down low oh just a little strong mount healthy comes up with it [Music] now healthy tries to set up their offense finds 24 in the left side takes a shot and arnhold there for the rebound again brennaman will bring the ball up [Music] oh and good defense by rodarty for my healthy keep going that way but there's kester [Applause] and kessler shoots it oh just strong arnhold there once again [Applause] and there's craig
on the layup and he is fouled [Applause] craig will go to the line for two important free throws here oh time out now called full we'll be back in just a few minutes you're funny [Applause] my voice [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i don't know what that you're doing [Applause] two free throws now for craig and the first is just just a bit strong uh [Music] and good defense there by rock creek kester now takes the ball of the court [Applause] [Music] and kester is fouled kester will go to the line they're in the double bonus now and they will get another looks like they'll get another one going and kessler's good [Applause] they will get another shot clock continues to run three minutes now in the fourth quarter and is it another violation oh my goodness
another free throw and the clock continues to run lane violation [Music] and [Applause] he ended up being two for four but two lane violations able to make it two for two and rock creek up 30 to 22 two and a half minutes to play in the fourth quarter ball will stay with mount healthy [Applause] coaches from mount healthy telling their boys to get moving fast time's running out and oh and he's fouled [Applause] and the clock should now stop yes looks like there's a timeout and when we come back i think there'll be two free throws all right [Applause] uh [Applause] in mount healthy we'll have two free throws here [Applause] see if they can cut into the bulldog lead [Applause] and bulldogs take possession now two minutes left pressure from mount healthy five seconds
four five second call bulldogs not able to get the ball in not healthy will take the ball and off of strickland's leg [Applause] redarty to pass the ball in for mount healthy finds craig [Applause] craig with his own rebound and the jump ball ball will go to rock creek continue to pressure kester able to break the press finds arnholt for the layup [Applause] 10 point game here and ball is unfortunately out of bounds for mount healthy rock creek will take a timeout with a minute and a half to play 32-22 uh [Applause] all right one and a half minutes left rock creek will inbound the ball pressure from mount healthy the trap comes and jump ball possession will now go back to mount healthy [Applause] healthy inbounds the ball and rodarty is fouled by brandon
he'll go to the line for two one minute six seconds left second shot's just as strong but we're already able to get his re-owned shot and ball will stay with mount healthy 59.4 seconds left my healthy's got to score and it'll start with this inbound here able to find craig oh pass is just a little strong the ball will go back to rock creek kester gets it up strictly [Applause] ball will stay with rock creek 43.2 seconds left 10-point ball game strickland will inbound the ball for rock creek brennaman in the corner try to find strickland and foul he will go to the line for two a couple of substitutions there for rock creek and strickland left early so the good shot will not count 10-point ball game now healthy gets the ball in not
healthy doing everything that they can to try to put some points on the board but rock creek's able to get the ball and oh nice move by strickland but the ball just wouldn't go in once again rodarty and there's rock creek with the ball but then craig with the shot nice save by rock creek but back to not healthy and eventually rock creek gets the ball but then there's craig and he will get fouled and the ball game is over well i want to thank everyone for tuning in to this ebo game of the week presented by forest construction company rock creek able to take this one 32-22 we will see you next week have a great night and thanks for tuning in you
