good evening and welcome to the bcsc live stream here on the bcsc youtube channel we are once again live at columbus east high school here in the orange pit to see an unusual match up here tonight with your visitors like a cathedral fighting irish in your very own columbus east olympians we will take a look at the visitors the cathedral fighting irish the irish are entering tonight's matchup sitting at 500 with a record of 10 and 10. they are an independent school so that means they are not in any conference so they are 0-0 in conference so put some independent just like the notre dame fighting irish as well that they were up to this last season but the irish record might not speak for how good they really are teams they have won against
were some big schools such as lawrence central new palestine covenant christian and indianapolis bishop chartered some of the teams they have lost are known for having good girls basketball programs such as carmel brownsburg warren central and ben davis with that being said the old saying goes do not judge a book by its covered we shall see if that comes true tonight here in the orange pit some key players for the fighting irish are senior courtney fields who is averaging just under 16 points per game just under three rebounds and three steals as well another key player for the fighting irish is junior kate bimmer who is averaging 11.6 points six rebounds and just over two assists and steals this roster is very senior heavy for the irish so i'm sure they're going to be looking
forward to their senior leadership throughout this game as a team the fighting irish are averaging 53.8 points 31 rebounds 12 and a half assists 11.8 steals and three and a half blocks looking at the fighting irish they will be taking on warren central and this year's sectional the score in the regular season warned central 70 to cathedrals 52 so i'm almost guaranteed they will have this game in the back of their heads for the remainder of the season but most important lee the thing is beating a very good columbus east team on the road can they get the job done and become one game over 500 team the regular season we are just minutes away from finding this out stay tuned to the bcsc youtube why is the columbus auto group the number one destination

right to sage stahl in a quick tip by the irish and will be olympian basketball the olympian's going left to right and the irish will be going excuse me olympians going right to left and the iris should be going left to right corrine gravy has about the top of the key looks like a zone look starting off for the irish maybe roberts once again hit four threes in tuesday night's contest right in that spot where she's at there as gabby dean shot us off the mark finds maylie roberts for three up and off the mark and will be out of bounds irish basketball two shots up for the olympians and no results a point 7 33 remaining here as let's see what the irish can do as the olympians will fall into their 2-3 zone
they ran a little bit of man man-to-man defense in the second half of tuesday night's contest but ended up finding themselves back into a 2-3 zone as that was a bad pass and stolen by sage stalk crosses over up and falls gives the first points to sage stall and the olympians sage stahl with just under 10 points per game gets the first two points here tonight for the o's great defensive pressure so far by the olympians gets it inside finds a wide open irish great pass and that is up and good for number three darren eli and eli gets the steal for the irish and a force passed there and stolen by maylie roberts and passed it up to gravy inside to bachmann great pass but great defense there by number 23. clara lee got
her hand inside and knocked the ball out but olympians will keep the ball on their end of the court grand gravity passes in the corner to robert she fires up a quick three and off the mark and a great box out there by eli to get the rebound courtney fields brings the ball down and passed it off to lee fields has it inside to finn and she turns it over and stolen by gravy who is averaging just under four steals a game she gets one early here in the ball game she's stuck in the corner but passed it off to saw bachmann at the top of the key looks to the corner to gravity fires up to three up and nothing but net corinne grivey gets out in a fall she did not sit a
three-point basket in tuesday night's contest i'm sure she's happy to see that one fall here tonight early in the first five to two is our score the olympians lead right idea she finally gets a hold of the ball but off the mark that is number four kate brimmer one of the key players here tonight sage drives hard and could not get the layup to fall great defense there by the irish and through the hands of bachmann will be cathedral basketball with 5 19 remaining here in the first quarter looks like 23 lee will be taking it out for the irish throws it up and they get it in fields looks to attack floater over gabby dean and a great bank shot there for courtney fields ties the ball game excuse me does not tie the
ball game up a one-point ball game olympian's lead and rebounded by the irish the pass little out in front and a turnover by cathedral olympian basketball looks like irish will come up with a zone press here early the olympians haven't seen a press here in the orange pit for quite some time as they're gonna get across the timeline with no problem as sage has it on the right throws it across court to grivey in the corners roberts fires up a three in the corner was in and out but a strong rebound by sage stahl could not get the shot to fall but gets her own rebound and gets that second attempt to go in sage stall with four points here in the first quarter olympians once again in their zone look have they had the
most of the season here and sage stall quite a bit of steals early on and she gets one there as well three on two fast break gravy open for three and hits back iron but a strong rebound by gabby dean could not get the second chance shot to fall and rebounded by the irish coming up on 405 here in the first quarter number 23 dribbles in the sides and eli has it kicks out the fields for a three off the mark but a strong rebound by finn could not get that one to fall looks like it was blocked and fields fires the close jump shot off the mark bachmann with the rebound to gabby dean up to sage stall we had the numbers there for a minute but great hustle there by the irish to
get back and set in their zone down inside to gabby dean great finds and a great shot there for gabby dean an assist from corinne gravy kern gravy just under five assists and gabby dean just over eight points per game in a time out taken by the irish with 3 30 remaining here in the first quarter [Music] so welcome back we are live here at columbus east high school will be cathedral basketball with 3 30 remaining here after the irish took a early timeout and their coach did not look too happy with their performance here so far the olympians in their 2-3 zone look got a good look but off the mark and blocked by gabby dean leads the state in blocks with 4.2 a game and a tip pass and a turnover by the
olympians two on one fast break and great find and fires up the shot and no good that has courtney fields tried to draw the foul but couldn't get it and great defensive pressure there by the irish and gets the steal and courtney fields ends up getting the shot to fall gives her four points on the night and corinne gravy throws it deep to sage and will be a charged call taken by number three darren eli she got on that right block and set her feet and took that charge great job there by cathedral as number 23 lee brings it down and passes it off to grimmer bremer fires a three up and good three point basket katie and maybe roberts tries to answer back with the three up and good maylie roberts her 38th through
made three-point basket on the season she's shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc and that is really good and she answers there to give the olympians a 12-9 lead and that shots off the mark and rebounded by sage gets it to grivey and throws that ball away and a turnover committed by the olympians looks like austin craig will sub in for melee roberts and mia finn checks in for the irish a very good first quarter we've seen here by both teams and gets it inside his fin great job with their hands by the olympians as fields has it passes it to number 23 that is cara lee answers with a big three cuts excuse me ties the ball game up gives lee her first points of the night gravi across court to sage stahl bachmann
has it back to grivy on the left wing bachmann at the top of the key allison craig dribbles the ball out it looks like cathedrals and a zone defensive look coming up on 120 here in the first quarter tie ball game allison craig drives kicks out to grabby for three nothing but net goes in for corinne gravy gives her 34 made three-point baskets on the season six points both coming off a threes here early for gravy coming up on a minutes here in the first quarter 15 to 12. great job by the olympians defensively here tonight and just like that at turnover committed by cathedral will be olympian basketball we'll have caitlyn crothers check in for gabby dean with 54.3 seconds remaining here in the first quarter gravy brings the ball down for the olympians
sage saul tries to force a pass there but it will be knocked out of bounds by the irish will stay on this end of the court for the olympians gravy takes the ball out and a turnover committed that is stolen by fields courtney fields for the irish two on one fast break hits her teammates that is eli and missed the fast break opportunity there to get points on the board katie brummer picks up her first team's first 38 seconds on the dots remaining here in the first quarter gravity uses the screen set by bachmann gets it in the corner is allison craig gravy picks up her dribble finds bachmann back to gravity she's going to fire up a three and a little right there but rebounded by sage and gets the shot blocked that was
finn mia finn with the block and cathedral is heading this way fields gets inside floater shot off the mark but offensive rebound and off the mark with three seconds two seconds can also craig get the shot off and it will be cathedral basketball with .7 seconds remaining one thing i noticed the olympians are letting quite a bit of offensive rebounds here early on and that was one thing batesville did very well on tuesday night's matchup was getting offensive rebounds not sure if they'll be able to get a quick shot off here and they do not so there we have it our score the olympians lead by three over the cathedral fighting irish 12-15 and i will send it down to our columbus east cheerleaders [Music] so there we have it after the first quarter the
olympians once again lead 12-15 karin gravy leads all scoring early on with six points coming off both three-point baskets and leading for the irish is number two courtney fields with four basketballs looks like grabby will put on a little bit of defensive pressure here in their half court set i'm sure we'll fall back to their zone look and feels gets it picks up her dribble and gives it two katie down inside right idea just a little strong on the pass and stolen by caitlyn crothers and the olympians look to push the ball down the court sage stahl looked to dribble to her right but passes it back to grivey uses the screen set by katelyn allison craig dribbles back to her right gravity to caitlyn crothers pump face looks to attack inside and a turnover
and a steal for courtney fields and the irish as mia finn jump shot hits the rim and rattles in for the senior gives her her first points of the night here in the second quarter and cuts the lead to one up high to carruthers back inside to gabadeen backdoor great job there by sage stahl and great job by gabby dean keeping her eyes up and finding her teammate and gives gabby dean the assist sage stahl ties the game high points wise with six had four in the first quarter fields tries to fire up a three and long offensive rebound by the irish but off the mark and gravy passes it all the way up to sage stall in a hard fall taken by stall and that will be a foul on the irish by number
02623. picks up her first team seconds sage stall comes in shooting 74 percent at the free throw line she is 25 at 34 on the season as the first one is up and through for sage stall melee roberts will check back in for allison craig 6 31 remaining here in the second quarter sage stahl goes two for two at the line gives her 27 made free throws on the season and gives her eight points total in tonight's contest see if cathedral can get something going here the olympians are doing a fantastic job earlier in this second quarter as they get a wide open three-point basket in the corner and long and rebounded by finn and blocked by gabby dean the cathedral irish keeping it great pass there by courtney fields great move and a great
pass and the assist goes to courtney fields and the basket goes to eli for the irish she's at the line for one it's a great job there by courtney fields to penetrate inside and find her wide open teammates with leah bachmann checking in for caitlyn crothers the foul was on gravy her first team second 604 remaining here as eli's at the line for her free throw and off the mark and rebounded by bachmann and gravy looks to push the butt on the court fires maylie roberts back to grabby back to a three-point ball game as it was at the end of the first quarter the end of the first quarter was 15 to 12. 19 to 16 is our score great pass and a great job there by both of the teammates sage stalling gabby
dean as earlier gabadine found sage stall cutting in this time it was the opposite sage found gabby dean and gabby deem with four points here tonight and fields with the baseline jump shot no good and offensive excuse me rebounded by grivy gravy comes in averaging just under five rebounds make that 4.9 to be exact and she gets one there coming up on 505 here in the second quarter looks like cathedral will go into a man look here defensively as gravity dribbles to her right with her right hand passes it off to saw on the right wing she dribbles sue her left great defense there by the irish and stolen by the irish that's number 32 mia finn and she will get the difficult shot up to fall sage saul tried to take a charge mia
finn with four points and a timeout taken by coach brown and the olympians with 4 42 remaining here the olympians up by three so we will have a 32nd timeout once again we want to thank you guys for tuning in to tonight's live stream and we are happy to be able to bring you the live stream so we want to give a huge thank you to our sponsors columbus auto group and forced construction for sponsoring all of these live streams throughout the season as this is once again the final regular season game for the ladios so we want to give a special thanks to our sponsors for allowing us to cover their season with all these crazy times going on in the world and the nation so big thanks to you guys in the sponsorship
so i have to time out the olympian basketball here and grabby once again will bring the ball down the court coming up on 4 35 here in the second quarter sage stahl has it spins and great defensive pressure there by mia finn but gets it to gravy maybe roberts passes it and a force pass there not the right idea and has stolen and a turnover for the olympians great job with her eyes and a great move there by number four kate's brimmer one thing i've noticed here early courtney fields does a great job seeing the court a true definition of a point guard she's had quite a bit of good assist here as well as four points for the irish 408 remaining here in the second quarter 21-18 is our score gravity picks up her
dribble finds roberts a give-and-go concept and corinne gravy with their first points here in the second quarter assists from maylie roberts grubby comes in averaging just over 16 and a half points for the olympians fields fires up a three nothing but nets and gives her seven points here in the first half back to a two-point ball game melee has it on the left wing gives it to bachmann inside as gabadine spins turns and draws the foul and she'll be at the line for two gabardine comes in shooting 54 percent at the free throw line she's 13 for 24 on the season with four points here tonight looking at five and six as the first one was along there gabe dean had two points in the first quarter and has two so far here in the
second and goes 0 for 2 on the free throws but a great hustle play there by maylie roberts to get the rebound and the olympians will get a second shot here to get some points on the board and increase their lead here as the olympians lead by two with 310 remaining here in the second quarter which team is going to have the momentum going into halftime is it going to be the columbus east olympians or your cathedral fighting irish we shall see with three minutes to go here gravy has it on the right wing gives it to dean dean gives it back to gravity bachmann has it great ball movement so far by the olympians and great defense by cathedral doing a great job switching on off maybe roberts for three looked good from here
but did not want to fall and will be out of bounds cathedral basketball will have number 23 clara lee a senior comes in she has three points in tonight's matchup so far can cathedral tie the ball game up or take the lead on this possession we should see courtney fields fires up at three she hit one on the last possession right in that same spot an offensive rebound by number 23 clearly and forces up a shot and draws the foul she'll be at the line for two maybe roberts picks up the foul her first team's third all evened up with three team fouls for each team here tonight as a free throw up and good for clara lee we're gonna have sophomore heidi murphy check in she hit a three and tuesday night's contest and
goes one for one for clara lee gives her four points here one point ball game up high to bachmann and she'll draw the foul cathedral fans not happy with the call but bachmann comes in shooting 76 percent at the free throw line she's 51 for 67 on the season see if she can go two for two here she's scoreless here in tonight's contest as nothing but net gives her her first points of the night and her 50 seconds made free-throw on the season a game she's sure going to remember is the championship conference game against genius county as she scored 22 total points and could not get the second one to fall so one for two at the line for leah bachmann back to a two-point ballgame coming up on 205 here in the second
quarter fields has it dribbles to attack inside and a carry turnover committed by the irish a quick whistle there by the rev i agree that was the right call so olympian basketball can they increase their lead they've been leading the whole night so far as bachmann has it looks to throw it up high to gabby dean right idea just a tad bit too high yabbadine did have position on the defender just too high for gabby dean it's pretty hard to miss a 6'4 center as gabby dean is listed on the roster here but things happen as that was a turnover once again committed by cathedral 135 remaining here two-point ball game 24-22 is our score gravie looks to use a screen set by sage stall picks up or dribble and sage stahl goes hard in
make sure that wasn't a steal hands it off to gravy shoe dribbles to her left heidi murphy looks to attack inside down low to bachmann splits the defender hits gravity at the top of the key up and no good and the long rebound goes to the olympians great hustle there the ball kind of bounced around but a turnover committed there and courtney fields is going to have an easy two-point basket to tie the ball game up gives her nine first half points so far for the senior courtney fields she was also one of the key players that we mentioned earlier in the live stream and she's making her impact here early bachmann forces up the shot and no good and rebounded by number three darren eli coming up on 30 seconds here in the second
quarter let's see if cathedral will hold it for one last shot and take the lead going into halftime i'm not mistaken the cathedral irish have not led in this ball game so far let's see if they can change that here to end the first half as feels gets it reversed layup no good and rebounded by eli but great defense there by the olympians and turnover committed once again by the olympians and a timeout taken great job by the coach to get the time out right before the buzzer went off with 4.7 seconds so be a full-time ounce careless turnovers by the olympians giving the cathedral fighting irish some breathing room here to either tile it up excuse me to take the lead it is tied up so i will send it back down to the
columbus cheerleaders [Applause] so there we have it our tremendous columbus east cheerleaders so once again cathedral did take a time out looking to draw up one last plate in the first half with 4.7 seconds on the game clock looks like number 13 bingman checks in she was a starter for the irish they get it in with three seconds two fires up the shot off the mark and there we have it folks all tied up at 24. so we want to thank you guys for tuning in to the live stream so far we will take a short break and we'll hear a word from our bcsc corporation here join bartholomew consolidated school corporation's team as a substitute teacher or a bus driver bcsc will help you become a substitute teacher by covering the cost of your

here you can use our shuttle service wait in our lounge or we can come to you so whether you need a new vehicle or service for your old vehicle the no vulture zone is the place to be alrighty ladies and gentlemen welcome back we are awaiting the start of the second half here all tied up at 24 looking scoring wise for the visitors the cathedral leading irish basketball team courtney fields leads the irish with nine points and darren eli with four points kate bremmer with three carla lee with four points and mia finn with four points as well and looking at your home scene the columbus east olympians corrin grab you with eight six of those coming in the first two of those coming in the second sage stahl has eight points as well four
of those coming in the first and four of those coming in the second leah bachmann has one point coming off a free throw in the second quarter gabadeen has four two of those coming in the first quarter and two of those coming in the second maybe roberts has three and the three points came on a big three in the first quarter and we also want to give a huge congratulations to corinne gravy she's moved up in the history books at columbus east high school putting her third all time in scoring history and she's still continuing to strive for that number one spot i'm sure that's in the back of her mind i'm sure that's a goal of hers before she graduates good thing for her she still has one more year so at the start
of tuesday night's matchup she was fifth and she had scored nine points in that game and put her all the way up to third so i'm sure she's looking forward to keep inching closer to that one and as well as her teammates cheering her on and motivating her to get that record what a huge accomplishment that will be for corinne gravy to put your name and after all four years of all the hard work she's done so congratulations to corinne gravy third in school history and scoring and she looks to continue to keep it up most importantly we have a thai ball game here in the orange pit quite a bit of turnovers committed by each team here tonight i'm sure that was one of the halftime adjustments each team needs to make it's turnovers
not being able not committing as many of them whether it's traveling or throwing it away just too many of those by each team for each team to either have a chance at taking the lead and quite a bit of missed shots down low for the irish and personally i'll be straight up honest i think the irish should be a few points ahead but just great defense by the olympians down low in that 2-3 zone look with gabby dean does a great job and her teammates as well so we are coming up on 120 here at halftime so we'll take another short break and when we return we will have lady o basketball here on the bcsc youtube channel 30 seconds is on the clock until we are starting the second half let's see which team
has made the best halftime adjustments here once again this is the first time and was talking to pete hughes before the game to see if i could get a year that these two teams have played each other and he says from the time he's been here they have not played so he says there is a chance this could be the first time each of these teams have faced each other in the regular season that was due to some teams canceling in each team needed to pick up a game so this is a kind of last minute pickup and we have a good game so far so i'm sure each of these teams like the competition each team has to offer so we are underway here start of the second half thai ball game all up
at 24 as each team will flip sides here so the olympians will be going left to right and the irish will be going right to left as gabby dean misses her first attempt but gets the rebound and gets the second one to fall gives her six points in the first points here in the second half yabadeen comes in averaging just over seven points a game excuse me seven rebounds a game just under eight points a game as a strong rebound there by sage stahl and there we have it a turnover committed by the olympians here early in the second half 7 15 on the clock once again we want to thank you guys for tuning in to tonight's live stream as cathedral gets a good look but off the mark sage stall with the rebound
and up to melee roberts and a turnover committed by the olympians and that was stolen by number 13 for the irish gets inside is mia thin and tries to force up a shot and no good will be out of bounds irish basketball 6 43 remaining here in the third quarter the irish looking to keep excuse me the olympians looking to keep their winning streak alive and the irish are looking to bounce back after a loss in their last game multiple offensive rebounds there for the irish and katie brimmer gets the two-point basket there gives her fives and ties the ball game up at 26. as sage stall has it picks her dribble up and gives it off to her teammate roberts and gravity dribbles to her right looks inside maybe roberts pass it down low
to gabby dean strong take there gives her four points here in the third quarter makes that eight points on tonight's contest that was a strong hard take there and a double dribble committed by the irish turnover and looks like we're not 14 caroline klein in four the irish and allison craig and for the olympians and gravity dribbles to her left and clears out traffic gives it to stall at the top of the free throw line down inside to gabby dean draws a double team and a turnover by the olympians mia finn drives inside great ball movement there but blocked by leah bachmann and a foul called on the olympians gabby dean picks up her first foul teams first we'll have courtney fields check in the senior guard with nine points here tonight and a few
assists as well mia could not get the first shot to fall and blocked by you know who gabby dean great job there by sage stahl mia finn picks up the foul will be her first team's first sage has it looks inside to gabby dean draws the double team back out to gravie hesitates gets inside and could not get that one to fall and rebounded by fields we're gonna have a two on one excuse me three on one fast break and she finds her wide open teammate number 23 clara lee gives her six points on tonight's matchup gabby dean spins inside shoots it and off the mark and the irish look to push the ball up the court all tied up at 28. and fields has it at the top of the key the olympians in

the mark but caitlyn crothers with a big offensive rebound gives her her first points of the night and they come in at a crucial time here in this ball game fields jumps finds her teammate for three no good and rebounded by gabby dean and allison craigs brings the ball down the left-hand side picks her dribble up and she gets it to grabby she drives and draws the foul so gravity will be at the line for two fouls on number three darren eli picks up her second team's fourth as it is up and good for gravy gives her her first points here in the second half she's at nine points here tonight looking at her tenth nothing but net gives her 10 points her and said stall both in double figures here coming up on 220

streets for this fourth quarter to be a good one east basketball start bachmann will take the ball out here and they get a bit in to corrine gravy dribbles to her right each team definitely picking up their defensive pressure going to a more of a man-to-man concept here allison craig too high for corinne gravy one thing the irish basketball team has going for them is quite a bit of seniors here so senior leadership many seniors have been in these close ball games so they're going to be leaning more on their seniors as they have five seniors on the roster 7 35 remaining here one point ball game fields has it passes it to her teammate and that is lee and klein has it through the hands and stolen by sage stahl picks her dribble up
and gives it to grabby and back to stall and they get over the timeline behind her back gets the double team gravy looks to attack inside finds bachmann could not get it to fall gets her on rebound draws the foul and and one is good for leah bachman gives her her first points here in the second half and three on tonight's matchup looks like we'll have number four katie brimmer and for the irish a big shot there by leah bachman and she's at the line for her in one and she left that one short and rebounded by gravity tries to draw the foul and no good and rebounded by the irish the olympians fall back excuse me note they stay in their manse man look gets inside and off the mark great help by sage

way with 4 32 remaining here so a great sign if you're an olympian fan and corinne gravy will be at the line shooting the one-on-one nothing but net for gravity on that one she has three here in the second half gives her 11. a big trip there for corinne gravy four points here in the second half 12 points total and cuts the lead to five excuse me it extends the lead to five i should say so see if cathedral can get something going here as fields has it and stolen by sage stalk crosses over great move can she finish and she draws the foul that is number three darren eli draws the excuse me picks up the foul and sage stahl will be at the line for two and nothing but neta good result there
for sage stahl gives her 11 points and three in the fourth quarter excuse me second half and goes two for two there gives her 12 her and gravity lead the way for the olympians all with 12 points through the hands and stolen by bachmann a bad turnover there by cathedral and looks like bachmann will give it right back as fields has it 3 40 coming up on the game clock gets it inside down low is gabby dean and she gets a block but a phallus called 32 gabadine draws the foul be her second katie brummer is at the line for two and she gets the first one to fall gives her six points and gives her seven points big free throw trip there for the irish leads back down to five bachmann has it top
of the key gravy gets it sage stall has it on the right wing draws the double team bachmann and courtney fields picks up the foul great job by grabby to keep the ball strong and not let courtney get her hand in on it she did earlier on in the second half so corinne gravy is at the line for the one on one she hit two free throws early in the fourth and that result is good for driving gives her 13. comes in averaging 16.6 points per game and two for two therefore mrs gravy gives her four points here in the fourth quarter 14 points total as field drives baseline kicks it out corinne gravy almost stole it tipped it but irish are lucky to retain possession here drive inside floater over gabby dean is off

they have done a tremendous job here at the end of their season as that shot is off the mark and rebounded by sage stall gravy has it and she looks to dribble it and drop maybe draw the foul and sage stall dribbles and pulls it back out and grabby has it hey timeout taken by coach brown on the olympians a full timeout taken so we should see the columbus cheerleaders once again they have been pretty busy here tonight i'm sure they're liking all the camera time they're getting here tonight as well [Applause] once again our fantastic columbus east cheerleaders 120 remaining here after a timeout was taken by coach brown and the olympians i think the timeout was taken due to they didn't want to get a five second call with the great defensive pressure
