001alrighty welcome back to columbus east high school here on the bcsc youtube page we will take a look at the home team the columbus east olympians who are ranked 22nd in the state according to max preps the columbus east olympians are having a fantastic end of the season run winning five straight and becoming outright hhc conference champs for the first time since 2006. they have an overall record of 12-5 and 7-0 in conference play like i mentioned the lady o's are on a five-game winning streak picking up those five wins over conference opponent starting off the winning streak was a win over madison seymour and a thrilling upset for the olympians over bedford north lawrence and they picked up wins over new albany and for the conference championship they picked up a win over jennings
002county looking at the lady oh sectional draw they will play 11th ranked east central and the winner will take on a very well coached martinsville team so a pretty tough break there if you're an olympian fan they have to play the two one of the top ranked teams in the first round of the sectional vladios faced eastenders at the start of the season and lost 51-45 and i'm sure coach brown and the ladies are looking forward to that game as they were leading up until the fourth quarter and just let the games slip away late in the fourth quarter looking at the stats in the conference championship game corinne gravy had 16 points albany speer had seven sage stall had 16. leah bachmann had a huge game with the game high 22 points gabadine had
003six maybe roberts had three and caitlin carter's added in two i'm almost certain coach brown and the staff love to look at the stat sheet after the game and saw that three lady o's were in double figures grivy bachmann and stahl i'm sure coach brown was very happy about that one with this game and two more left on the season can we see the ladies finish strong with the remainder before the tournament we shall see we're about three minutes away here from tip off so we want to thank you guys for tuning in to this live stream here tonight we are about a minute and 45 away from the national anthem in the starting lineups karin gravy is now fifth the fifth leading scorer in school history so i'm sure she's looking to enter way
004up to that number one spot so congratulations corinne gravy she comes in on the season leading the team and points per game with 17 and also leading the team with five assists per game and leading the team as well with 3.8 steals so so far a fantastic season for gravy another cool stat is gabby dean leads the state and blocks with four points four blocks per game she also is leading the team in rebounds with 7.6 games so great job for maylie roberts she leads the team with three-point baskets made with 33 and shooting 41 percent beyond the arc the olympians are out without emma jenkins a key player she looks like has a knee braces out with the knee injury so underneath the minutes here so i will turn it back down to coach

007steals and shooting 44 percent on the season so we are ready and awaiting tip-off here looks like gabby dean will once again be doing the tip for the olympians and number 20 is carly pride 5 8 junior will be doing it for the bulldogs as we are up and underway tips goes to sage stall and pass it to grabby gravy fires up a quick three and off the mark and rebounded by number cali for the bulldogs the olympians fall into that 2-3 zone look after they have done pretty much all year long gets inside off the foot of a bulldog and sage stall gets to steal and up the court is gravy down inside to gabby dean spins ups and no good rebounded by carly pride when she slows the pace down here 7 20
008remaining here just in the first quarter roberts and gravy are at the top in the zone look gets inside out in the corner for pride for three and short and rebounded by gabby dean gabby dean leads the team and rebounds with 7.6 rebounds a game gravy kicks it to melee roberts looks out of three but passes it up back to gravy back to sage saw it looks like the bulldogs are on his own as well and as solon that is number 44 for the bulldogs and a timeout taken by the bulldogs that was a close call for over the back so a quick timeout with 6 48 remaining here 0-0 is our score the olympians applied really good pressure on the the ball handler at half court and made the bulldogs take a timeout so
009a quick timeout taken there so the olympians fall back in a 3-2 look maybe looks like a 2-3 just the wings came up really high there so fall back into their 2-3 zone look great pressure by the olympians and a foul will be called on the olympians sage stahl picks up her first teams first 6 38 remaining here gets it into number three katherine and back to pride right idea just too hard and too long and a turnover committed by batesville olympians will get the ball back still awaiting our first points here tonight grabby brings the ball down i'm sure she will be doing that most of the game on the right ring is stahl down low to gabadeen pivots and passes it to roberts 4-3 up and good that gives maylie roberts the first
010points of the night and she gets three points gives her 34 threes on the season shooting 41 from beyond the arc leads the team great looking three-point shot there with six minutes coming up on the clock see if batesville can get something going as well great job by gabby dean to keep her hands up and stolen by maylie roberts up to gravity two on one fast break to stall great pass and a great lay up ken gravy leaves the team with five assists and she shows off her passing kills there with the two on one fast break transition points for the olympians and stolen once again sage stall dribbles it back to melee roberts gravy on the left wing fires a three and no good and rebounded by number 14 excuse me number 12 michaela
011granger young gets it down inside kicks it back out to michaela she fires up a three and nothing but nets michaela ties the ball game up at three excuse me forgot we scored on transition there so five to three is our score gets it inside great pass and gabrielline gets in the scoring column bachmann comes in averaging just over one assist and michaela tries to draw that father but off the mark rebounded by bachmann up to gravy sage fires up a three short but rebounded and kept alive by gabby dean maylie roberts fires up a three nothing but nets melee roberts six points already just here in the first quarter coming off a big threes that was a great job by gabby dean to keep the play alive and find her from beyond the arc
012as carly gets inside and blocked by gabby dean once again comes in leading the team and blocks with 4.4 so we have our first subs here tonight brianna wells number 34 and gabrielle elston checks in both juniors only one senior on excuse me two seniors on the roster for the bulldogs barely gets it in and off the foot of gabby dean and they're not going to call that a kickball so passes it and grabby will go to the line for two comes in shooting 83 percent at the line she's 73 for 88. on the season looking for her first points here tonight and good corinne grabby see if she can convert for her second and she does gives her two points with four ten coming up on the clock see batesville can get an idea
013of this zone look but not on that possession it was stolen by the olympians may the roberts up to sage stall great pass and a great shot there by sage stahl gives sage four points here tonight maybe robert stood up for only sage could get it and sage went up and came down with it and set herself up for a great layup shot down on the right block back to a double-digit lead here mckayla fires up the long jump shot and miss long and rebounded by bachmann gravy looks out of three passes it off to melee roberts who's hot from beyond the arc but could not get that one to fall backman offensive rebound could not get her turnaround jumper to fall and the bulldogs are going to push the ball down the court bachmann
014comes in just over six rebounds a game a long three off the mark by michaela but rebounded by 34 brianna wells and she travels there so be olympian basketball off the turnover committed by the bulldogs as grabby brings the ball gives it to sage stahl down inside to gabby dean great pass and up and good for gabby dean gives her four points that's what happens when you're six five you can just manhandle and go over people even brought a double team just could not stop gabby dean right idea as well just through the hands of the bulldogs so we will have albany spear allison craig and caitlin crothers check in for the olympians gabadeen sage stahl will check out and melee roberts as well we'll check out 2 45 coming up in the first quarter
015gravie fires up a three long has not got a three point shot to fall here tonight looks like michaela and the bulldogs are going to push the ball picks her dribble up gets it inside to wells back out to pride drives baseline and off the hands of the olympians looks like they posted poked it loose so we'll stay on this end of the court catherine rob checks back in and sarah ripker checks in as well both starters sat down early in the first and they are back in probably to end the quarter as emma has it passes it to catherine inside in the corner baseline jump shot up and off the mark great look there by the bulldogs but follows a shot gets offensive rebound but could not get that one to fall that is
01633 elston great job getting multiple looks there just could not get get her shot to fall so coming up on two minutes and five seconds here the olympians lead by 13. house and craig has it at the top of the key dribbles to her right back to albany inside to caitlin trudeau's baseline great pass great find and a great shot there by leah bachman who had 22 points against jennings county but albany spear with a great pass gives her an assist she comes in averaging just over two assists per game and that was a great looking pass there a kick violation there by the olympians stay on this end of the court and we'll have a sub in number 44 cali kaiser checks back in great defense so far and a tipped by caitlyn and
017it will stay bulldog basketball once again see if the bulldogs can figure out this 2-3 zone and stolen by grabby who leads the team and steals she looks like she's going to slow it down and gives us allison at the top of the key head fake back to gravy 4-3 can't get the three-point shot to fall but a great hustle there by caitlyn to save it but goes right to a bulldog player and a strong take and in and out by number three for the bulldogs two on one fast break albany keeps it herself caitlyn with the offensive rebound and good caitlyn crothers gives her two points and josh she also gets a rebound as well comes in averaging just over three points and just over three excuse me two rebounds as well grin grabby
018picks up her first team second 54 seconds on the dots here in the first quarter michaela has been the only bulldog to score here and that came off of a three earlier in the first see if they can get something going here short jump shot up and off the mark but she is fouled three is albany spear will be will pick up the foul be her first team's third so sarah will be at the line for two and the first shot is up and good she's looking at her second point here with this free throw and short there so gives her just one point here in the first quarter albany fires up top the key three up and good albany spear comes in shooting 22 percent from the only yard gives that's her 13th made
019three on the season great looking shot there coming up on 20 seconds here in the first quarter great look there just off the mark by the bulldog offensive rebound by number 34 brianna wells one last shot for the olympians gravy long three and off the mark and there we have it folks the end of the first quarter your olympians lead 23-6 and we will take a look at our columbus east cheerleaders east varsity cheerleaders [Applause] [Music] is so there we have it the end of the first quarter in our columbus east cheerleaders it's been a one-sided ball game so far see if batesville can get something going here all it takes is some momentum and some points to fall and we'll be right back to a close ballgame here the olympians are doing a great
020job getting in the passing lanes of on the defensive end giving bulldogs a lot of trouble so let's see what the olympians do coming the start of the second quarter caitlyn crothers passes allison correct she fires up three up and good gives her three points here and a strong rebound there by sage stall will be a foul committed by the bulldogs four three-point baskets made so far for the olympians early on in the season that was their to was a three point shot so three pointers three excuse me four three point baskets made so far just here in the first half so allison brings the ball down the court on the court for the olympians is craig speer stahl dean and crothers as color kicks it out to allison back to cruther she spins gives
021sage stall back to the top of the kia spear great ball movement so far by the olympians both teams sing in a 2-3 zone look gabadeen has it great find great location and a great shot there for sage stahl gives her six points on the ninth gabby dean with a great find she's coming in averaging just over one assist per game and she gets her assists there as mckayla fires up a three short she hit one early in the first but could not get that one to fall 6 35 coming up on the clock 28-6 olympians lead big here in the second quarter down low once again gabby dean and a great shot there she was smothered great defense there by batesville just a great shot by gabby dean gives her six as well and
022that push called by the ref looks like it's gonna be on the olympians 25 32 excuse me gabby dean picks up her first team's fourth 6 13 remaining here in the corner wide open bulldog 4-3 off the mark offensive rebound by number 44. callie kaiser will be at the line for two caitlyn crothers picks up her first team's fifth two fouls away from the bulldogs being in the bonus the rest of that first half as the first one is up and good kaiser gets her first points of the night and hits back iron out of bounds will be bulldog basketball 607 remaining here in the second quarter the olympians staying in that two three zone look mikayla looked out of three just couldn't handle the pass great find there and will put kaiser back at
023the line for two great job breaking the 2-3 zone driving and finding the her teammate down inside in the paint gabadoon picks up her second so one foul away from the bulldogs being in the bonus kaiser knocks down the first as she did on our first trip just a few seconds to go let's see if she can capitalize on her second and same result as last time hit back iron there kaiser did not score in the first quarter but she has so here in the second callie kaiser picks up the foul her first team's third as albany passed it all the way up to craig crothers fires up with three up and good she comes in shooting 40 percent from the on the arc gives her her third made three-point basket she's only made two
024all season long and that looked pretty good right there let's see if the bullocks can answer back with the three cannot be olympian basketball so kids caitlyn crothers five points here tonight 5 25 to here in the second quarter 38-8 is our score sage stall looks down low to gabardine once again fires up the shot little off bounce there but could not get it to fall and rebounded by pride she's gonna drive it and takes it up and a strong tick there by carly pride gives her her first points of tonight's contest all four of the starters have scored for the bulldogs there's only been one that hasn't and she checks in catherine robb 450 remaining looks like the olympians are going to fall right back to that zone look kayla has it looks inside
025back out to rob carly fires up the three hits the rim a few times but cannot get it to fall but follows her shot and gets the rebound so keeps the possession a lot for the bulldogs a great pass there just great defense there and a block by gabby dean her second block of tonight's contest awesome with the free throw line jump shot up and good gives her five points on the knights with 4 10 remaining here in the second quarter a very young team for this bulldog batesville team so i'm sure they're going to be happy with what they have to come in the future as that shot is long and rebounded by sage great defense there but a foul call no a kick violation excuse me so no foul great defense there by
026captain rob looks like maylie roberts grivy murphy will check in for the olympians 354 remaining down inside to heidi murphy the shot is up and good maybe roberts gives her nine points her specialty is beyond the arc and she's made three here tonight find a long jump shot up and off the mark and rebounded by heidi murphy the jv team picked up a big win over batesville as well so congratulations to them as heidi got to get some playing time in that and she's getting playing time here in the varsity contest so congrats to the columbus east jb team maybe roberts for three once again her first miss up tonight comes off of a three-point basket michaela fires up the jump stop layup off the mark great fine up the court to grivy she drives
027and will be at the line for two free throws her two points have came off free throws earlier in the first quarter so she'll be at the line let's see if she can capitalize here once again and she gets the first one to fall 257 remaining here in the second quarter 39 to 10. gets it to fall she goes she's four for four here tonight michaela attacks kicks it out defensive rotation has been a faint a great job here getting in passing lanes and causing them to take bad shots as you can see right there but a rebound that's been a key factor for batesville's second chance shots the olympians need to get that figured out by tournament time because they have some really tough opponents and they're sectional in the corners gravy she fires
028up the three and off the mark still cannot seem to get her touch from beyond the arc but mikayla's going to drive jump stop and fires up a good looking floater shot there michaela granger young gives her five she hit a three in the first and gets her first points here in the second 40 to 12 is our score maybe roberts kicks it to murphy back to roberts she fires up to three nothing but net melee roberts four threes here tonight with only one miss gives her 12 points leading the way for the olympians he gives her 37 made threes on the season fantastic shooting performance here in the first half for roberts looks like the bulldogs try to answer back with the three off the mark but offensive rebound by the bulldogs and stolen
029by gravy she's dribbling down the left-hand side and draws the found she'll be at the line for two once again 117 remaining here in the second quarter michaela granger young picks up her first gives the bulldogs five fouls so gravies five for five here tonight and six for six gives her two points at the frito line once again all of our points coming off of free throws here in the first half down inside great find there by the bulldogs number 34 brianna wells gets her first points here in the second half gives her four points great fine and great cuts inside of the zone leah bachmann gets a good look but off the mark under a minute's here 50 seconds on the clock see if batesville is going to hold it for one last shot
030gravy picks up a touchy foul there gives her her second and basically will be in the bonus be one on one for number four a 5-1 sophomore emma weiler is at the line for the bonus 47.6 seconds remaining here and gets the first one to fall so she'll get our second looks like crothers will check in for gravy crater comes in with five points here tonight and cannot convert on the second so allison craig dribbles down the courts crothers back to bachmann austin craig head fakes gives it to roberts back to roberts across court to murphy down inside to carter's but a foul will be called on number 34 brianna wells with 27.6 seconds remaining here in the second quarter be her first team six foul looks like kylie kaiser checks back in for the
031bulldogs and wells will sit down for the remainder of the first half in the corner roberts who's been red hot could not get that three-point basket to fall but a strong offensive rebound by carruthers to keep it alive she comes in averaging just over two rebounds a game she's had quite a bit here tonight great idea just through the hands of carruthers and a turnover committed by the olympians with 14.6 seconds remaining here well excuse me i spoke too soon briana wells checks back in for number four emma weiler so see if batesville can hold it for one last shot and let's hope the olympians cannot foul here see what batesville has in their playbook a great jump shot up and good for brianna wells gives her six points four in this quarter and there

035will take on a very well coached and a all-around great team the east central trojans and game one in game two the crosstown rivals of columbus north bulldogs will take on bloomington south and whoever wins a columbus east east central game will take on martinsville who got a first round by in game three and whoever wins the columbus north bloomington south game will take on bloomington north who also got a a first round bye so either columbus north will take on bloomington north or the bloomington rival showdown will happen in the sectional semifinals but if you're an olympian fan you're cheering them on as they've lost to east central early on in the season but two tough games if the olympians win against east central they have to take on a very well coached and
036well-rounded team as well the martinsville artesians and looking at our visitors the batesville bulldogs they got they received the first run by so they will play the winner of connorsville or lawrenceburg also in their sectional greensburg will take on franklin county and rushville consolidated will take on southern dearborn so baseville was the only team in the sectional to receive a first round by in their sectional 29 and that will be host at rushville consolidated so i'm sure batesville is looking to finish out the season get back to practice watch some film and be ready to go by tournament time as they lost to lawrenceburg but beat crothersville excuse me connorsville so i'm sure they're looking forward to take on either of those teams that come their way statwise for batesville emma wheeler has one point
037she hits a free throw in the second quarter michaela granger young has five points a three-point basket in the first and two points in the second carly pride has two comes in then scoring two points in the second quarter sarah ripker has one point hit one free throw in the first quarter briana wells has six points leads the way for batesville she has two points in this first quarter and four points in the seconds and finishing out as cali kaiser comes in adding two points as well and those two points came in in the second quarter and looking at our home team the olympians allison craig scored five points in the second quarter grivey's has six points all coming off of free throws albany spear hits a three-point basket in the first quarter but did
038not score in the second sage stall has six points scored four in the first and two in the second quarter leah bachmann who led the way for the olympians in their hhc championship win over juniors county with 22 only has two points here tonight but has got plenty of rebounds so two points for leah bachman did not score in the second quarter gabby dean has six points scored four in the first quarter and two in the second and the red hot maybe roberts with four first half three pointers hit two in the first two in the second gives her 12 points leading the way for the olympians and finally caitlin crothers has five points scored two in the first and three in the second quarter so we will take another short break here with 250
039until the start of the second half so welcome back we are about 30 seconds away from the start of the second half the olympians lead big 45 to 17 over the visitors batesville bulldogs the lady goes will be back in action here at home thursday taking on cathedral so i'm sure the olympians are looking forward to that game as well they have this game and two more games until excuse me this game two more games and that will round out the end of the season then we'll get into tournament time so baseball basketball to start the second half mikayla's shot is up and off the mark we got a mixture of varsity and jv players here tonight we have jenna goosa freshman sage stahl harley gant and grabby as gantz had a fantastic jv game
040she could not get that shot to fall as carly pride dribbles down the courts the olympians once again staying well excuse me they switched up and going to man-to-man normally they've seen a 2-3 zone look most of the game but they're switching up coming out of halftime back door cut and great fine but great hustle and hands there by the freshman jenna goose to get her hands and on the pass and knock it out of bounds but batesville excuse me will keep the ball on their end of the court a pump fake by the bulldogs and blocked by you know who gabby dean and gant gets the block on that one and rebounded by gravy and a blocking foul taken by number three catherine robb will be i think her second foul will be her
041second team's first 702 remaining here in the third quarter gabby dean catches the inbounds pass jump shot by sage stall and she'll draw the foul and she'll be at the line for two c comes in on the season shooting 73 percent 22 of 30 on the season she has six points looking at seven and eight as the first one is good nothing but nets looking at her second let's see if she can get the same results on that one it is up and in and out so one point for sage stall on that free throw shirt we'll give her seven points and looks like she's going to get the steal but greats hustle by both of them both of the 20s on the floor carly pride and sage stahl the shot is off the mark
042rebounded by gantt and gravy pushes it down up to jenna goose fires that shut up tried to draw a foul could not get it to fall and rebounded by rob and she looks to push the ball on the court upon 6 25 here in the third quarter rob gets it down inside to kaiser off the mark and stolen by gant and passes it to gravie up the court to goose she fires a three off the mark and rebounded by sage stall the free throw jump shot off the mark follows her shot gets the rebound to gravie she fires up a three and no good a great strong rebound there by michaela granger young and jenna goose picks up her first teams first still cannot gets a three-point basket to fall she took a few of
043them in the first half same results as her last year in the second half just cannot find her touch here she has six points all coming off of free throws great play there and a great find by the bulldogs carly pride has four points and the first point scored for the bulldogs here in the second half down on side to gabby dean fires up the shot bank shot up and good gabbadine with eight points here tonight gabby dean's right at her average with eight points on the season i'm sure she will surpass her average here tonight and that will go up after this game great find michaela fires up the shot who hit one in the first quarter but cannot get the same result there and rebounded by sage stall sage comes in just under
044five rebounds gravy with the floater short and off the mark and rebounded by pride she's dribbling down the right side of the court crosses over great move and fires up the shot and one carly pride will be at the line four one free throw great crossover to get inside and a strong take and draws a foul on grivy gravy's third foul team seconds here in the second half carly pride for one and nothing but nets gives her seven points and just like that she has five here just in the third quarter as gravity uses the screen set by sage stahl down on the left block is gans jenna goose at the top to gaby dean off the hands of batesville will be olympian basketball a risky pass there but will be olympian basketball so 33
045gabrielle elston checks in for the bulldogs number 30 that is sarah ripger checks out gravy fires up the three-point basket in and out the closest one she's had here tonight as stolen by gravie euro step fires up the shots and no good so she'll be at the line for free throws once again she's six for six here tonight all of her points coming off of free throws see if she can keep her hot streak alive here tonight as that is up and good gives her seven looks like catherine robb checks back in for number 44. kaiser checks out with 4 30 here in the third quarter and gravy gets her first free throw miss going 7 for 7 until her first miss so seven for eight at the free throw line for gravity jenna goose
046picks up her second team's third some big news in the east athletics world is gymnastics coach retired i think after 42 seasons she's told her players yesterday that she will be retiring so she's had a great career here at east i know a couple of the gymnastics gymnasts were sad and upset but she's done it all here at columbus east as gravie gets her first points here tonight not coming off a free throw she stole it and took it coast to coast and gives her nine points three here in the third quarter crosses over by granger young and stolen by sage stahl she's all alone on the right block can she get it up no but she will be fouled and she'll be at the line for two carly pride picks up the foul will
047be her third team's four 341 remaining here in the third quarter looks like we're gonna have a fresh five here after sage shoots her free throws looks like heidi murphy will check in for sage stall after this free throw so we have maylie roberts albany spear leah bachmann and caitlin crothers and will have heidi murphy check in after this free throw for the olympians as sage stahl is up and good sage stall with three points here in the third quarter she takes a seat 53-22 is our score the olympians saying in their man to man look a different look here in the second half great pass looking at a three-point basket but great recovery there by the olympians that was maybe roberts coming out and did a great job closing ranger young kicks it out
048baseline excuse me long jump shot is off the mark and short by elston maylie roberts who had four first half threes can she do the same here tonight i think that's her second miss three-point basket that's all she's taken here tonight was threes and a great take there by michaela granger young going to her left and draws the foul she'll be at the line for one free throw here leah bachman picks up her third team's fourth that was a fantastic take by the sophomore a strong hard take let's see if she convert the n1 and no good long and rebounded by bachmann albany spear up court to roberts crothers across court to heidi murphy she fires up the three and good heidi murphy for three is melee roberts picks her up makes her turn it
049over and rebounded by murphy two on two fast break a bad pass there and great hustle there by the bulldogs saved right to the hands of murphy could not get the jump shot to fall and rebounded by the bulldogs and stolen there by the olympians great fine there by albany gets it blocked to great hustle play there by 44 kaiser gets the block and will be a turnover committed by the olympians should be batesville basketball with 152 remaining here in the third quarter the bulldogs are 10 points shy of their season average point scoring wise coming averaging 34 points a game as for the olympians they come in averaging 61 points per game maybe roberts picks up her first team's fifth quite a bit of fouls committed by each team here in the third quarter
050the olympians fall back to that 2-3 zone look three-point shot is up in and out and off the hands of bachmann will stay down on this end 132 remaining here in the third quarter gets it inside so number 44. kaiser floater is off the mark and rebounded by roberts and she's going to dribble down with her right hand down the court inside to bachmann up and good leah bachmann with four points here she did not score in the second quarter but she does so here in the third down inside is kaiser spins pump fakes and pivots back to the right could not get the shot to fall rebounded by heidi murphy and a bad pass there and turnover committed by the olympians so allison craig checks back in and melee roberts will check out under
051a minute here 58-24 the olympians lead over the visitors the batesville bulldogs pokes it loose but batesville retains possession here the olympians fall back in the zone they start off in a man look and maybe give the bulldogs some confusion to start the second half as that one was over the back violation a turnover committed by batesville as batesville has been staying in a zone look all game long and they do so here as well great job by the olympians keeping the ball movement here as bachmann shot is up and no good but she does draw the foul so she'll be at the line for two free throws she comes in on the season 75 percent at the line she's 46 of 61 on the season up and good for her first gives her five
052points three just in this quarter and nothing but net on the second gives her six coming up on 15 seconds here let's see if batesville can get a shot to fall to in the third quarter and give them a little of momentum going into the fourth a great find and a great look there just better defense and blocked by bachmann and a straight save there by albany two seconds one gets it up and shorts albany spear tried to get the shot she did get the shot off but just short so there we go after three quarters the olympians lead big 60 to 24 and i will turn it back down to our columbus seas cheerleaders one more quarter left let's see if the batesville can finish out strong on a positive note and if the
053olympians can keep doing what they've been doing all game long as they lead big here in the orange pit olympian basketball to start the fourth quarter as albany has it in the corner down low inside to cruthers hook shot up and good gives caitlyn crothers seven points she did not score in the third but she does here early in the fourth as mikayla fires up the corner three off the mark rebounded by murphy who hit a three in the third quarter as albany gets it baseline jump shot to alison craig nothing but nets and gives her seven points as well coming up on 720 here in the fourth quarter looks like the olympians are going back to a man-to-man defense a look here going to be a long bus ride home for batesville as this
054game is pretty much out of reach here but fantastic efforts you can show they're not quitting here as they get a great looking shot inside number 30 her first points of tonight comes in in the fourth quarter as murphy down low to bachmann she spins inside back to crothers albany for three off the mark and an offensive rebound by bachmann draws a foul and she'll be at the line for two free throws once again she's four for four on tonight's contest 6 37 remaining here let's see if bachmann can keep her streak alive as that one is up and good five for five here hopefully i did not jinx her on this one see if she can get it to fall and i did it i jinxed her so she only gets a one free
055throw there her first miss of the night and a strong take there and a great looking take by pride she got something going in the third quarter she scored five gives her her first points here in the second i foul committed by the base of the bulldogs so i think the olympians will be in the bonus the rest of the fourth quarter so bachmann was at the line i will not say anything to jinx her so see if she can converts here as the first one is up and good 6 16 remaining here in the third quarter as gina goose the freshman checks in for albany albany fantastic job here tonight right sorry about that some technical difficulties there so we are back here coming up on six minutes here kent gets it inside spins
056and off the mark and rebounded by pride and a great job by heidi murphy stepping inside and getting the steal as that is poked away and stolen by the bulldogs as carly has it back to rob carly fires up the bait excuse me the top the key three follows her shot and gets that shot to fall the junior guard carly pride four points here in the fourth quarter as gant gets the n1 up and good harley gantz will be at the line gives her two points and she gets one free throw it is up and good for harley gans gives her three points here tonight coming up on 4 40 here in the fourth quarter the olympians up by 40 points here in the orange pit [Applause] [Music] as jenna goose hits a three-point basket
057here in the fourth quarter jb players getting quite a bit of varsity minutes here that's always good for them as allison craig dribbles the ball down the court coming up on 350 here quite a bit of points scored for the olympians on high school basketball so great job by everyone i contributed in the scoring column as allison craig fires up a three up and good gives her five points here in the fourth quarter her second three-point basket made and she's in double figures with 10. as michaela granger young fires up a three look good from here but off the mark and rebounded by gantt and jenna goose crosses over loses control of the ball and we're gonna have a jump ball possession error will be batesville so we'll have number four emma weiler checks in
058number 20 carly pride and a screen set the olympians look to stay and maybe a man's own look here showing man falling back to zone still no equipped by this batesville bulldogs team you can tell they're going to play and so the clock hits zero and that's exactly what they're doing here even trailing by a lot they're still playing with a lot of hearts and a lot of grits here as pride fires up the three looked good it was in but just did not want to go all the way so in and out for the three-point basket for carly pride so we'll stay on this end of the court as pride comes off the screen gets the ball off the inbound pass mikayla is going to fire up the three looks good and hits the
059front of the rim and rebounded by heidi murphy mckayla's only hit 1-3 and that came early in the first quarter as jenna goose pump fakes takes the long jump shot off the mark and will be batesville basketball looks like caitlyn touched it last and we'll have number thirty junior number 30 for batesville through the hands of the bulldog there so a turnover committed by the bulldogs olympian basketball with 210 remaining here in the fourth quarter a foul will be called so put caitlyn crothers at the line she comes in shooting 43 she's only shot seven of free throws all season long let's see if she can convert here as crothers gets the first one to fall she's at 50 now on the season and goes two for two great job there by caitlin who gives
060her nine points can she get in double figures before the clock hits zero the olympians have shown two defensive looks here in the second half man-to-man and a zone look the jb team ran a bunch of a man concept defense and their big win over martin's excuse me batesville so i'm sure that's why they are doing that here as well in the corner is goose down inside the gant she spins and off the mark a strong offensive rebound by crothers but we will have a jump ball possession there will be columbus east with 127 remaining here as gant takes the ball out throws it all the way at the top to murphy jenny goose fires up the three she's hit one already in this quarter but that one's off to mark rebounded by gantz allison
061fires up to three and off the mark gantz with the offensive rebound and the putback gives her five points here in the fourth quarter coming up on a minutes here that shot is off the mark and rebounded by the olympians goose passes it to allison craig fires up to three off the mark crothers up and good she's in double figures here tonight as stolen we're rebounded by heidi murphy coming up on 20 seconds here the olympians with a big win over the batesville bulldogs so there we have it folks our columbus east olympians win big 82 to 30 over the visitors the batesville bulldogs so team wise scoring for the olympians allison craig had 10 points corinne gravy had nine albany spear had three sage stall had nine leah bachmann had seven gabby dean had
062eight maybe roberts had 12 leading the way and caitlyn crothers with a solid 11 points coming off the bench for the olympian so great job by those and the jv players picked up harley gantz with five and heidi murphy with three gina goose with three as well and for the visitors emma wheeler with one point michaela granger young had seven carly pride led the way for the bulldogs scoring 11 points she hit double figures sarah ripker with three brianna wells with six and kylie kaiser with two so that's all we have here tonight we want to thank you guys for all watching this live stream here at columbus east high school the olympians won big so the olympians oh the ladies become thirteen and five on the season the ladies will be back in action
