008rome number 25 natasha armstrong number 24 gabby's virgin 22 lydia cushman number 20 edison and ronklettas and now the starters hatch center number 21 allison class that's forward number 31 rachel tinsley at forward number 35 brandon poole number 42 miley mclennan and the car number 12 morgan jarvis all righty ladies and gentlemen there you have it the starters for each of these teams tonight and the lineups this like north side had a the old bulls theme song going on as they introduce their starters so here we go middle school basketball on our hands tonight here at north side tip off is a few seconds away as north side's in white and blue and madison's an all red with white trim as miley mccullen does the tip for north side and north side wins the tip
009number 12 has the ball gets it to the left pass it down low to the low block to number 35 back out and out of bounds will take will remain north side basketball number 42 takes the ball out for the spartans looks like the cubs are going with maybe a man a man look here as i just handed off 235 she gets to the left and passes back out to number 12. 42 takes a three and off the mark and rebounded by fighting for it and it's going to be out of bounds and madison gets the ball their first possession of tonight let's see what madison can do number 20. addison bortis takes the ball and number four that is stolen away by north side as they have pushing the ball up the court passed
010it off to number 35 gets to the right-hand block and layup is off the mark rebounded by number 10 miley skinner and pass it off to four at the baseline and gets their hands loose and they are on the ground and we're gonna have a jump ball possession error remains sue madison 5 25 12 left to go here in the first quarter no score looks like a 2-3 zone look for the spartans and the passes to number four and she puts up a shot off the mark great defense by the spartans number 35 looks to push the ball off the court gets it to number 12. and a great pass just lost control of it and madison will take possession morgan jarvis mishandled that one looks like they're going to give some high ball pressure
011here two madison a great pass into number 10. she takes a layup and off the mark and northside has the numbers two on two and gets to the right hand block and leif was off the mark and number four julia davis passed it to number 12 and the layup is up in good for first points of tonight goes to madison a great offensive set there by madison as madison cubs 4 29 left to go here in the first 2-0 is our score madison is staying in with that man two-man look and a hesitation gets to the baseline and blocked but retained by north side and a bunch of bodies are on the floor jump ball possession here to north side north side will retain possession here and we have a timeout taken by madison so
0124 14 left to go here in the first 2-0 is our ball game all right we are back live here at north side after the timeout madison took northside has the ball and gets it down to the low block and we have another jump ball possession arrow is to madison 4 12 left to go here in the first quarter 2-0 is our score as julia davis passed it off to number 31 addison rourke and is trapped at the top and out of bounds north side that was number 31 with great defense rachel tinsley gets her hand on that one as number 10 melee skinner takes the ball out pass it to number 20. gets it down to the low block to number 10 and we have a foul looks like it will be on the
013floor so one team foul for the spartans here as the spartans are staying in 2-3 zone that ball is stolen away by number 31 rachel tinsley excuse me 35. braylon poole as she took too many steps on that one great idea just got carried away with that one as we have our first sub melee perry and for number 10. spartan singing that zone looking looks like they're going to pick up the ball the point guard at the half court line great ball movement there by madison the bank shot is off the mark and off the hands of a cub as north side will get the ball back as it looks like madison will stay in a press here giving a spartans a different look as that is into number 12 morgan jarvis she spins back
014to her left and spins back to her right great defense there by madison that is down to the paint kicked out for an 18-foot jump shot is up in no good but rebounded and kept alive by 21 alison kolhaus 42 takes her shot and is good that is a three made by number 42 miley mccallen as that ball is loose and will be north side basketball we have our first sub for tonight number cassaday flourish is in for number 21. allison cool house as madison is staying with that press as they break that one pretty well that's 35 gets to the right block and throws up a nice shot and is good 4-2 5-2 is our ball game your home team north side leads as that is into the corner to number 32 passes it
015back out to jarvis excuse me davis and that one's stone away by number 35 great hustle by julia davis and they have the numbers and number 12 was not ready for the ball great idea by number four that one was thrown out of bounds once again this is northside's second game of the season as they played on the first of december against seymour as a great move by number 42 she takes the jump shot off the mark and rebounded by 43 cassidy flourish and she's at the line for two team fouls are all tied up here one-on-one as flourish is at the line for two as her first one is up in a nothing but net see if she can go two for two here as she gets ready for her second and the second
016one is up and off the mark but rebounding and kept alive by north side great hustle there by number 42 as she takes the baseline jump shot and good she found nothing but ned on that one north side making a little run here as that is down low on the baseline throws it out of bounds and north side with great defense once again and they get the ball back with 214 left to go here in the first as morgan jarvis is has done most of the ball handling for the spartans tonight as that has taken to number 42 as she takes a step back three and off the back iron but kept alive and an offensive rebound once again and way too strong for madison there as number 43 cassidy flourish keeps getting rebounds as
017that is a three taken by north side and off the mark could not get the bank shot to fall and the spartans continue to get offensive rebounds but could not get a shot to fall in that possession as that one is stolen away by number 35 braylen poole as she's taking it down the left looks like she's gonna get to the low block and up and under for two braylon pool with the layup tender to our ball game as the floater is up and off the mark on the floor julia davis took the floater and got fouled but the refs called it on the floor as we have another sub number 10 is back into the game that is melee skinner and number 12 miley comes off the court for madison as the spartans are
018playing with that zone look and we have a foul call by north side and we'll put a cub at the line for two team fouls i think are all evened up excuse me no three to one is our foul with north side with three as miley skinner is at the line for two and our first one is up and off the mark as we have number 34 natalia rahm and 23 abby wheatley in for the spartans as skinner's at the line for her second and gets that one to fall 10-30 score 124 left to go as abby wheatley is taking the ball out here as madison stays with that press as that one is throwing great pass and great hustle there by number 35 and she takes the jump shot and a little short there
019great look could not get that one to fall as number 20 addison bortis is taking the ball off the court great hands and great defense by number 24 for the spartans that is gabby spurgeon as north side slows it down here coming up 2a minutes here in the first quarter she takes the three a little short and rebounded by spurgeon once again to keep things alive she had a great stop on defense and a great rebound there on the offensive side as she takes the two-pointer off the mark and rebounded by number 20 kennedy roulette and that's stolen by the spartans in stolen back by madison as she gets to the right side and draws the foul and puts her at the line for two at the line for two is julia davis 35 picks
020up the foul braylon pool 41.8 seconds to go here in the first as the first shot is up and no good as we have number 22 in for the spartans lydia cushman as number 35 graylin pool comes off the court for the spartans as julia davis's second free throw is up and off the mark rebounded by number 22 lydia cushman and she brings the ball to court 34 seconds to go here in the first as the floater is up and off the mark and rebounded by spartan but she sadly hit the line that was a madison cub player that got the rebound but her foot was on the line now spartans will have the ball 28 seconds to go maybe take one last shot here to end the quarter out as the spartans have had
021good ball movement that shot is up and taken by number 34. not evil rom as julia pushed the ball up the court and blocked by gabby spurgeon she's been all over the place here when she came in had two great stops there on defense and a great rebound for the spartans as that one is poked away by 34. great hustle there but julia gets a spin and gets to the inside of the paint and off the mark with eight seconds to go five seconds and out of bounds and spartans excuse me the cubs will retain possession 4.4 seconds to go on the clock as 31 takes a jump shot hits the back of the rim spurgeon with the rebound and there we have it folks the end of the first quarter your home team northside
022spartans 10 and your madison junior high basketball team three and here are our cheerleaders walsh once again we want to thank our sponsors columbus auto group and forced construction for your generous sponsorships for all of these live streams we are able to do we want to thank you guys for watching if you guys are watching please like and subscribe so you don't miss any other further matchups we might do here on youtube so we are starting the second quarter six minutes is on the clock 10-3 our score the home team spartans are on top and north sides will retain possession here starting this second quarter as abby wheatley and 34 nadavel ram is in the backcourt for the spartans it's number 20 it looks like addison borders checks in for the spartans as that one
023is stolen but hit the line great hustle there by madison cub julia davis as that one is into number 22 and off the hands oh my spartans but kept alive and this layup is off the mark and will stay on this end wheatley takes it out into number 22 she takes a jump shot and off the mark and madison will reach get the ball back here with 5 43 left to go here in the second quarter as julia davis brings the ball up to court and she passed it gets it right back but stolen by number 23 abbey wheatley great hustle there by her as she gets to steal and that one is thrown away right idea just a little too too far out in front of the spartan and we have a sub number
02412. miley mcqueery is in for madison as the spartans are staying in that 2-3 zone like they did most of the first quarter as that is into number 10 and a travel [Applause] might have moved her pivot foot there and spartans will get the ball back 513 is our score madison is staying with that press screen set and into number 23 abby wheatley as she pushes the ball crosses over to the right and pulls it back out as that is up at the top of the key to number 22 back to 34. she gets to the right side and gets a floater up and off the mark rebounded by number 31 addison roark as she pushed the ball up to court passed it to number four julia davis she's been in quite a bit of
025the game for madison that is back to rook and a foul committed by north side as we have number 25 natasha armstrong and for the spartans you can hear the north side cheerleaders cheering on their teams as that was a great pass right idea just mishandled that one so northside gets the ball back here no points have been scored in this second quarter great defense there by madison and we have a timeout taken by north side did not want to get a five second call there so he will for sure draw up a press breaker thirty second time out taken by north side four forty four left to go here in the second quarter ten to three is our score uh and here we have it the timeout is up and done northside called timeout
026to draw something up to break this press taking this press by madison as they set screens to get somebody open and that is in a great pass and great catch there by abby wheatley as she passes it to her left to number 22 down to the baseline to number 20 she looks at a shot and passes it off number 22 takes a three and excuse me pump faked on the three and it got her stolen by number 10 maylie skinner she gets to the block and good our first point in the second quarter goes to madison and solon by number 20 a baseline jump shot is up and off the mark and rebounded by spartan that's number 22 lydia cushman as she pushes the ball off the left-hand side and pulls it back out on
027the bench at the score stable looks like we will have a fresh new five lineup after this dead ball as we have a travel violation by the spartans as madison really picked up their defensive pressure here in the second quarter it's been giving the northside spartans quite a bit of trouble here but a whole new five on the floor for the spartans 105 is our score 350 left to go here as that one has stolen by number 42 melee excuse me miley just passes out to braylon pool as that has stolen away by number 31 addison and back stolen away by north side as they're looking to push the ball off the court gets to the right block and up and great look could not get that one to fall as we are going back
028and forth this game and a foul is committed by spartan he's on the floor there so 322 is our score and we have number five and for norse excuse me madison kylie montgomery she comes in for number 20 kennedy roulette as the spartans are remaining in that zone look and end to number 12 and she gets a strong take up there that is miley montgomery that is passed off to number 12 morgan jarvis spins to her left stolen away by julia davis and a reach-in foul committed by northside once again madison has really picked up their defense on the that into the court and here in the second quarter and it looks like madison is in the bonus here so she's at the line for a one-on-one sorry about that but we are here back
029frito was off the mark and rebounded by north side excuse me she made the first one miss the second one so ten to eight is our score as that shot is off the mark but rebounded by a spartan number 35 braylon poole 12 to eight is our score there's the first points of north side here in this first quarter as julie gets the give and go and down low it's 2 number 10 but that was blocked but number 10 kept it alive and puts it in for two great concentration on the ball there by madison almost stolen away by madison but northside gets the ball as julia davis has been applying great pressure there on the press and spins and gets through it there and a travel violation committed by north side the momentum of
030this game has really flipped here by the great team defense by madison julia davis brings the ball up and looks to push some pressure on her once she crosses half court and a great pass to number 10 and up and good a great assist by julia there ties the ball game up she got hit pretty hard on that one set is into pool as she dribbles through the middle of the court and we have a carrying violation and and for madison is number three maybe perry comes in for number 10. um melee skinner who's had a great first half for madison as julia crosses back over to her right and through the hands of number 31 and northside will get the ball back all tied up with 145 left to go here in the second
031quarter as number 12 morgan jarvis spins back to the middle and crosses over to her right and she dribbles through the defense pull has it he gets to the left block up and under and good for the north side spartan she did that earlier in the first and it seemed to work and sold away by number 42 miley mccurdin calling and off the mark a three or two is off by number 12 morgan jarvis and off the mark by a spartan as julia passes the two number 12 had the right idea just too far and high for her to retain 12 14 is our score 106 left to go here in the first northside looks to slow it down to maybe take some time off the clock here so we are under a minute to
032go here in the second as poole takes a free throw jump shot and good nothing but net by north side use the pump fake to her advantage as julia's going to bring the ball up the court gets it to number five she takes this shot and short and off the mark 37.6 seconds to go here in the first half madison's done a great job with this press and it looked like number five kylie montgomery got her hand on that one should be north side basketball here and that is into morgan jarvis after a great screen set and she kicks it out to number 31. rachel tinsley and stolen by morgan drivers crosses over to her right loses her dribble 20 seconds to go here in the first half and off the foot of a north
033side basketball player as number 43 cassaday flourish comes in for the spartans and number 21 allison kohlhaus comes off the floor 17.4 seconds to go here let's see what madison can do that's 34 checks into the game that is natalie aram so 15 seconds to go see if madison can get a shot to fall before the end of the first half great move by julia davis a great pass and that is number three maylie perry gets that one to fall with four seconds three seconds two seconds gets it to up and no good so there we have it the end of the first half we have a close one that's north side 16 and madison junior high 14. so we'll take a short break and when we return we'll have north side basketball in the
034second half of this close matchup [Music] [Applause] for the spartans for the first half welcome back to the live stream here at northside all righty welcome back to north side here as we are four minutes away from the start of the second half beside me is zach pierce zach what did you think about this first half of this seventh grade basketball game i know we did a lot of high school girls basketball so maybe this is just a learning experience this is only northside's second game so i mean we're used to seeing high school when we go to middle school just what's something that you could take away from this i mean it's definitely i know we're it's definitely a lot different announcing high school games compared to middle school games the pace is a
035lot different and the way the game is played is a lot different tonight's been a lot closer match up it's only a two-point lead for north side so going into this second half we're going to be able to see if they're able to pull away or if it's going to be madison trying to regain that lead and recapture a little bit that momentum they had in the middle of the second quarter yeah i noticed that madison came out in that second quarter playing great team defense so for north side what's some way to beat uh you know great team defenses i think they need to take a page from madison's book and get a little bit more pressure madison was just doing man on man press and that caused a little bit of problem for
036north side they didn't really have outside of one ball carrier they didn't really have that many able to handle the ball really well so i think they're going to be able to maybe try and put a little bit of man pressure on them and try and see if they can shake things up a little bit for north side though they got quite a bit of offensive rebounds so if they can continue getting that and keep getting shots to fall i think the second half might be looking good for them yeah i agree they just need to keep their foot on the pedal and try and increase this lead heading into the fourth quarter there you have it the inside of zach pierce once again so he's been running camera this evening so thanks to zach
037we want to say continue thanking our sponsors columbus auto group and forced construction two minutes about two minutes remaining until we are underway in the second half two point lead in favor of north side for you watching now if you would like to stay on and watch the eighth grade basketball game we will be doing both games tonight zach i know you went to central and central's kind of have a bigger gym but northside looks like they got some a new floor i don't know how many years old it is or whatnot because i've came here and i'm a senior now but what do you think about this new floor i'm going to be honest with you i cannot remember the last time that i stepped inside northside's gym i can't even remember what this
038what the floor looked like last time i was in here that's probably my seventh grade year of middle school and i'm a sophomore in college now so i honestly don't remember what four looked like but i know the new four it looks pretty good i like the way it's the the faded in logo in the middle and the different colors of the core around inside the three-point line i think it looks really good i have to agree with you on that one about a 130 left to go here so zach when you played at central with the crosstown rivalry with central northside did you win both the year 7th and 8th grade or what was the series with that i honestly do not remember at all i literally i do not remember at all if
039we won or lost i couldn't tell you with me it did not in favor of us as both years we ran into a very good central basketball team as many of them are playing varsity basketball now for each of the high schools the first half once again was a lot of back and forth steals rebounds running up and down the court so we should have a good one in store for the second half as we are about 40 seconds to go until we start the second half all right we just got the whistle and we are underway here at northside middle school north side will get the ball to start the second half as we will switch sides the north side is going left to right and madison will be going right to left as
040number 12 morgan jarvis passed it off two pool and she takes a three and good a three ball ride out of the gate coming into the second half is good by north side the first points of the second half within the few seconds as that has passed through the low block and a push foul by number 21 alison coolhouse maybe a little touchy foul on that one but they called it so madison will get the ball back down low to the low post and number 12 kicks it back out to julia davis right idea but great defense by north side to tip that one away and stolen by a pool she's been having herself a game on both ends of the floor she's been playing hard so she brings the ball up the court crosses
041over to the right passes it off to morgan morgan's looking down low dribbles it back out that's 42 pump fakes on a three a free throw jump shots off the mark pool tries your shot and we have a foul so puts number 21 got the rebound and put a shot up to get fouled that's 21 allison cool house at the line for two as the first one is up and no good and she's ready to send her second free throw and it is up and off the mark strong rebound by number 12. the number 20 is pushing the ball off the court crosses over to julia she takes her shot at a jump shot and off the mark and tipped out of bounds by north side because our first sub of the second half is
042for north side that is 43 coming into the game cast today flourish as they are staying in that 2-3 zone as madison's been more of a man defense so two totally different schemes number four julia has done most of the ball carrying for north madison as number 20 passes it back to number 10 and she does not pull it out number 20. okay kennedy roulette as she hit the line and great defense by north side and they will get the ball to s excuse me will retain possession as pool housed the ball crosses over to her left and does a little hesitation pulls it back out looked at a three but passes it off to morgan now she's crosses over back to her right one off of her leg and we're gonna have people down
043on the floor and who will have it [Music] a jump ball possession arrow to madison both teams going after those loose balls you love to see that from a coaching standpoint as julia davis this is bringing the ball up to court passes it to number 31 she takes her jump shot and off the mark and rebounded by 42 miley mclendon pulls it back out great defense by julia pass it to morgan down low to number 31 rachel tinsley and out of bounds madison will get the ball back 3 54 left to go here in the third quarter and we have a push by number 12 of morgan jarvis team fouls all even up at one excuse me north side with two madison with one there's number 20 kennedy roulette pass it to number 31 got
044hit in the face there a little bit made her glasses fall off but did not lose her as a strong rebound by north side as she gets on the ground and a great time out taken by north side's coach that is tj jarvis there with 3 4 34 left to go here in the third 1914 is our score and where we go we have our north side spartan cheerleaders great job by the north side spartan cheerleaders fantastic job that takes a lot of courage for the person being up there at the pyramid i know for my sister she is a freshman cheerleader at columbus east and some of the stuff she tells me when they get back from practice just great effort by them they do not just get enough credit so good work by
045the ladies on the cheerleading squad so here we have it after the timeout taken by northside they will have to bring the ball up the court pool has once again had a great game download to the post so number 43 takes her shot and maybe a little father but did not call it and off the mark by north side rebounded by number 12 for madison miley mcqueery and stolen by north side number 42 but stolen back away by julia davis for madison she's pushing the ball to court gives it then two number 10 on a great pass and good for madison great way to run the floor there for madison to get two easy points by layup on that one back to pool coming to her right kicks it out to jarvis she takes the
046running floater and off the mark but follows her shot and takes a three money ball is good by morgan jarvis 22-16 is our score into number 10 and we have a on the floor foul three fouls for north side once again morgan jarvis hit the three on the offensive end as we have number five coming in for madison may you excuse me kylie montgomery and number three maylie perry and for north side number 34 natalia rahm and number 24 gabby spurgeon and another one abby wheatley so four people and four north side looks like the only one that started the second half 42 miley mclinden is in for northside does that shot is off to mark rebounded by number 34 natalia rahm she gets to the right hand block and blocked by julia davis great
047defense there by julia she's pushing the ball down the right hand side of the court euro step in gets the layup off the mark and she gets her own rebound and off the mark once again in a strong rebound by number 43 cassidy flourish as she's pushing the ball up the court pass it to number 34 natalia ram and she pulls the ball back out and calls the play out and pass it 242 as she takes the jump shot in a little long there rebounded by north side and that looked like it was blocked and number 31 is pushing the ball down the right hand side of the court tries to def defend off the defenders back down to low to number 12 and that one's off the mark 42 passes at 234 rom and
048the layup is off the mark but kept alive by north side and the layup is good number 42 miley mclendon great hustle there by north side 120 to go in the third quarter spartans in that 2-3 zone look that is to number five kylie montgomery and the spartans are looking to push the ball off the court once again as she stops and shoots a three in the bank shot from the three-point line is good by miley mcclendon northside really went on a little big run there and that passes stolen and never mind we got a jump ball once again possession arrow two north side 51.5 seconds to go here as number 22 lydia cushman comes in as it looks like madison might be picking up another presto that gave some spartans a little bit of
049trouble in the second as they get that one and cleanly and over the half court line so here we go folks 40 seconds to go here in the third quarter a great pump fake and gets to the inside paint and blocked by kylie montgomery yesterday flourish picks up the foul 36.5 seconds to go here as number 40. abby ferguson and number 34 braylon governor and for madison one person that has not came out from madison yet is julia davis she's played every minute of this game so far so see if she might get fatigued later on in the ball game as she spins to the middle splits the defenders and pass it off to number 34 and that's a bad place you want to be in but they get out of it number 31 takes
050her shot and off the mark rebounded by spurgeon and 34 is pushing the court about 10 seconds to go here in the third quarter and off the mark with the pass and julia's pushing the ball off the court trying to get to the right hand block and floater is good by julia davis to end the third quarter 27-18 is our score starting the fourth quarter northside really went on a big run there to pull away a little bit but madison's not going to quit fighting as they coming into this fourth quarter once again on north side spartan cheerleaders and there you have it once again your north side spartans seventh grade cheerleaders it's pretty good with having to keep their mask on the whole time i notice doing this gets kind of rough with the
051mask on i couldn't imagine cheerleading a whole game with them on but whatever it takes to be able to continue playing sports at any level so madison will get the ball to start the fourth quarter 27 18. and here we go folks let's see if madison can cut into this lead a little bit and and if north side can retain this lead so down on the ground and getting dirty already out of the gates of the fourth quarter jump ball possession arrow two north side it's 22. lydia cushman is taking the ball out for north side tough break there by north side she didn't realize she was still out of bounds when she touched the ball but that happens sometimes so madison has the ball gets it down to the low block and the strong
052layup is made by number 10 miley skinner as we have another jump ball possession arrow to madison they can get two quick buckets here to start this fourth quarter eyes are set in screens get to the baseline jump shot is up and off the mark hit the back iron a great rebound by number 34 nadia rahm but stolen away as a cub gets it to the low block number 12 takes her shot up and off the mark rebounded and kept alive by madison gets another rebound and they're fighting for another jump ball is coming our way jump ball and possession arrow to north side as we have a fresh five coming in for north side you what these subs have been playing hard whenever they get the chance good work by each of the teams
053of subs 27 20 is our score 5 11 to go here in the first excuse me fourth quarter as pull has the ball passes it to her right to morgan spins back to the cross over to split the defenders and up and good a great move and a great shot by maylie mcclendon 29-20 is our score great move there gets two points for north side as that one is thrown away 4 43 to go here and gets it into pool i think northside's figured out that press if they've been easily to break it there as morgan looks out of three but does not take it great defense by julia morgan spins and gets it to the middle and dribbles all the way across court to her left side hands it off to pull and she
054passed it to number 31 31 with a great move but got her hands and that's julie got her hand to knock that one away and off the leg of 31 rachel tinsley so julia she's bringing the ball up the court north side's been in that zone look most of the game tonight and that one is tipped by number 31 and off the foot looks like they're gonna call a foul on 21. 21 is allison cole house five fouls for north side one foul for madison cross over and gets it to julia she takes a three and we have a foul by north side puts julia out the line with three free throws so she can cut into this lead if she can get all three of them to fall is that a six fouls for
055north side as the first one is up and long hit the back iron there she's been at the line a couple times back in the first half and let's see if she can get her second one to fall and that one is good let's see if you can go two for three at the line here with this trip and the third one is up and good two for three for julia as she cut into this lead for madison as poole pulls it back out pass it off to morgan dribbles all the way to the right baseline in a foul committed by madison that is on julia davis number four six team fouls to two team fouls north side with six madison two out of bounds plays into morgan she spins back to to get it
056to the middle she was kind of stuck there in the corner and that's a spot you do not want to be in as she takes the baseline jump shot and off the side of the backboard but rebounded by 31 rachel tinsley and gets that one to fall great work there to find the ball and put that one in for two and julie passes that one to number 31. that's off the mark morgan rebounds it dribbles into the defender and northside will keep the ball in their hands 3 21 left to go here in the fourth quarter as it is then to pull she's been doing quite a bit of ball handling and 31 takes the jump shot off the mark pool gets that one and gets that one to fall got the rebound and got
057that one to fall great work by north side that's four passes it read that one like a book and great defense on by the other end by julia and she's pushing them off the court down to the left block to number and rebounded by number 10 miley skinner and that might put her at the line for the one-on-one looks like we're gonna have a fresh five after these free throws so the first time ever before julia davis comes off the floor for madison as the 101 is up and good gets that one to fall ten point lead with 249 left to go here in the fourth one good thing for madison they are in the bonus so keep getting fouls and keep making free throws that's another advantage for them as this one is up
058and good she went two for two at the line as we have a fresh five and four madison like i mentioned now and they're gonna stick with that press and somebody must have forgot that they were pressing this passes into pull she gets to the right block and off the mark offensive rebound once again by north side and 31 gets fouled rachel tinsley puts her at the line for two if she can get both of these to fall as the first one is up and off the mark 2 33 left to go here in the fourth quarter and the second one is up and off the mark once again and rebounded and number 40 took too many steps there great rebound abby ferguson gets the rebound but a travel violation and madison takes a timeout
059with 231 left to go here in the fourth north side spartans up 33 to 24. let's see what coach jarvis does for north side and what coach davis does for madison as we are almost two minutes away from the final of this ball game once again we want to thank you guys for tuning in to this live stream and we want to thank our sponsors columbus auto group and forced constructions for the sponsorships this looks like madison's gonna go back with their maybe original five here they can see if they can pull or cut this lead down and maybe have a comeback for end for madison as north side takes the ball out gets it to the blow block good look just off the mark and a strong rebound by number 10 miley skinner called
060her name a lot and that one is a foul committed by braylon poole and puts number 10 at the line for two as you get situated there number 10 is at the line for two she sank both of hers few trips to go and that one is off the mark hit the back iron there she has one more here she can get this one to fall and up and long once again but a strong rebound by north side as it got like a pinball machine out there both teams are going after the ball there so 215 left to go here in the fourth quarter madison just missed two free throws could have easily helped cut into the lane excuse me into the lead there as morgan gets to the block and off the mark and
061goes off of red according to the ref as north side will get the ball to stay on their end great out of bounds play great pass pulls it out too pool and she gets that one blocked by number 12. miley mcqueery and north sides gets that one in just by a few seconds there may be maybe four five second call but they got it in so 155 left to go here i wonder if coach jarvis is telling them to use some clock here and dribble around hand it off let's see if madison amps up their defensive pressure as that one is stolen by madison crosses over great hustle by julia pass it to number 12 and a foul committed by north side now put mcqueery at the line 4-2 so miley's first one is up
062and nothing but net 25 to 33 is our score madison's trying to inch into this lead 136 left to go as the second one is up and good so she went two for two at the line there for madison as pool's bringing the ball up the court pulls it back out wondering and it goes off the leg of north side and over the back not a turnover you need if you're the spartans but a turnover you definitely need if you're madison madison can get a quick bucket here it'd be huge for them see if northside can stay strong on the defensive end here is that is into the low post and a jump ball is called and possession error to madison so 115 left to go here in the fourth two three zone look like
063most of the game has been for north side as that is in to julia pass it into the corner julia takes it three a big shot if it goes and off the mark and rebounded and kept alive by number 12 and off the hands of pool getting closer madison needs to get us some quick buckets here down to the low post back out to 31 she takes her jump shot and off the mark rebounding once again by madison and stalin by number 43 cassaday as she's pushing the ball and gives it to morgan as she spins back great move there to get over the line but great defensive pressure by julia so we're underneath the minute here 40 seconds to go let's see if northside can come away with this one and it is stolen
064away by madison has the numbers as morgan with great hustle on the defensive end got our hands in that one and forced that ball to go out of bounds madison will get the ball back 35.5 seconds to go julia takes the three big shot but off the mark poole gets something to go and she's looking to push the ball up and stolen by julia great hustle there as number 12 was not looking for the ball right idea by julia 20.7 seconds to go timeout taken by north side maybe drawing up a play just to kill some clock here see if our cheerleaders will be coming out to do a cheer have they been doing a great job all night cheering on these ladies for the cheerleaders this is their first cheerleading match of their seventh
065grade season as this is their season opener great recovery there by the cheerleaders and there you have it our north side spartan cheerleaders so north side did call timeout 20.7 seconds to go here in the fourth quarter madison is going to go with their press here maybe to get a quick steal and they get it in there 15 seconds to go and stolen by number three julia gets it 10 seconds to go down to number 10 and stolen and out of bounds red madison gets the ball five seconds on the dot remaining julia shoots the ball and the three ball is off the mark and out of bounds so .5 seconds remaining and it is up to number 12 and there we have it folks our score your north side spartans 33 and madison junior
066high 26. so northside opens their season opener what they win so once again feel free to stay and watch the 8th grade girls basketball and we want to thank you guys for all tuning in and watching this live stream once again for 7th grade basketball zach pierce was running camera 9 malachi parks we will be back with 8th grade basketball welcome back to the live stream here we are about seven minutes away from the 8th grade tip-off for those who just now turning in the 7th grade northside spartans came away with the win they're opening up their home opener with the win over madison and eighth grade's looking to do the same as both teams seventh and eighth grade opened up their season against seymour and they were on the road so second game of
067the season for both of these teams in action tonight welcome back to the live stream here on youtube we are here live at northside middle school about a minute and 40 seconds until tip off to zach what do you think about the seventh grade game by madison and northside well i think 7th grade game northside definitely coming out of halftime had the energy coming out of it they applied the pressure and that led to them getting the win tonight if the 8th grade madison's cubs do anything like the seventh grade team they did a lot of pr press so do you think north side should be ready with that well one thing for sure that i've noticed going from the seventh and eighth grade tonight is the size difference i've noticed that the eighth grade
068girls seem to be a lot bigger than what the seventh grade girls were i don't know what the what the what the what they're feeding between the between each grade but uh tonight i think northside needs to continue what they did in the first game just continue you know playing good sound defense getting the ball up and in the basket well thank you once again zach so i'm turning over to the announcer for north side remember it's not necessarily for your protection we do it here to which horsemanship use the banner above the scoring table as a guide that will help you let the players play coaches coach officials officially by all means have a good time your favorite player and your team at this time i'd like to introduce the players and starters for
069tonight's ball game first of all for the madison cups berkeley newman number 34 number 32 brooklyn hall number 20 and he not number three rivera buxton number two riley giants and now the starters act forward number 24 hurricane spread that [Applause] lillian fox and the coach cliff davis and now ladies and gentlemen for your north side spartan 8th grade team number 11 naval hatton number 41 naomi clark number two grace lacelle number five lizzie bodart number 33 avabott number four anna hampstead number 21 paige perry and now your starters at guard number two josie at guard number 14 lily priest that's forward number 13 finally head forward number three charlie cripper and then guardian merger 13 maggie russell and the coaches evan burton and death burglary so there we have it ladies and gentlemen the
070rosters and the lineups for each of these teams tonight let's see if northside can come away with another win at seventh grade one in the first game so doing the tip for each of these teams is number 13 wolf for north side and let me get a number for madison i'm gonna say 34 newman as maggie gets that one pass it off to number 14 and just like that and and one puts her at the line for two number 14 lilly priest is at the line to shoot one a quick easy basket there by north side as the free throws up and good looks like northside's gonna go with the press here number 12. dribbles it and stone away by maggie and off the foot of number 12. lillian sullivan and just like that a
071quick timeout by madison maybe madison was not expecting the full court press to come out maybe coach davis can get some a press breaker drawn up for the ladies great start by north side it was stolen by maggie russell and the pass was to lily priest and she gets the layup to fall and gets fouled and puts her at the line for one and she got that one to false that's how we are with the score of three to zero with 5 47 left to go here in the first quarter as maggie brings it out excuse me passes it off to number two back to number three the left block and gets way up to gets layup but off the mark layup was taken by number three charlie and gets to the left block again
072and off the mark but gets her own rebound and gets that one to fall number three charlie gets that one to fall as they back out into a 1-3-1 look for north side as stolen by maggie and gets that one stolen by number 10 josie and passes it off to number 12 and stolen away by number three by the spartans she's all alone gets the layup up in good and once again stolen by north side and off the foot of the player and we will have a foul call lily priest picks up the foul north side has gotten off to a hot start here early on and they get it into the middle lillian passes it off to number five autumn ross as stone away by the spartans as maggie gets out and passes it
073off great pass and great execution there by north side great team offense by north side as that one is off the mark and tipped out and maggie gets that one and she's all alone down the left hand side left hinder layup is good northside is running the court very well very well coached 8th grade team and another time out taken by madison 4 18 left to go here in the first quarter 11-0 north side so here we have it we're going to start back here we are live at northside middle school we want to thank our sponsors columbus auto group and forced construction so we can bring you these videos to the people who cannot make these games so you can cheer on your favorite basketball players so here we go we're back madison has
074the ball with four minutes to go here in the first quarter north side has established a great start of this game maggie russell gets that one to up and good gets the rebound and gets that one to fall 13-0 is our score and madison has seemed like they've ran into a brick wall by this northside spartan team as that is thrown away by number four anna but does not get that one to fall and saves it crosses over pulls it back out and passes it off to number two josie and josie pass it off to 14 and she's gonna take her shot in and the ref says it was tipped out of bounds and northside will get the ball back as maggie's taking the ball out great out of bounds play there number 14 lily
075gets that one to fall off the out of bounds play as number 12 lillian sullivan's bringing the ball up gets it into lillian fox she gets that one up and off the mark but rebounded and kept alive but in and out shot was taken by number 24 for madison lilly once again gets the rebound but off the mark excuse me though that is excuse me yes that was lily my apologies lily got the rebound and could not get that one to fall but north side retains possession here three minutes to go in the first quarter maggie goes up strong gets it to fall rebounded by anna to keep that alive she takes her three and good anna gets the three-point basket to fall for north side 18-0 is our score as fox gets that one
076stolen by number two josie she's pushing the ball up the court pulls it back out for the spartans maggie's calling for the ball but does not get it they passed it off too lily maggie has the ball looks like she's going to get to her left but stolen excuse me tipped away by madison as that shot is up in good once again by anna a three-point basket and a jump shot for anna and she's off to a hot start shooting wise [Music] as that one is stolen by anna and the madison player tips that one out so we have some subs in for the game for north side it looks like 21 paige terry and number three pass it off to charlie paige terry passes it down low but off the hand of the madison
077player and they get the ball brings it up to court and number 12. lillian sullivan keeps her dribble alive but passes it off to number 10 gets to the low block but off the mark rebounded by north side they're looking to push the ball off the court they have the numbers up high to number three and the layup is off the mark gets her on rebound and up and off the mark once again rebounded by north side had quite a bit of opportunities there could not get that one to fall as madison finally gets a rebound madison's looking for their first points of the first quarter with a minute to go here [Music] and the three ball is up and blocked great defensive stand by north side and the ball is loose north side has
078numbers two on one passed it off to anna gets that one to fall transition has been huge for north side here in the first quarter now we are under a minute to go 40 seconds to go see if madison's middle school eighth grade team can get on the board his number 10 is stuck and stolen by number two josie down the right side and up and good for the easy layup by north side josie stole that one and took it herself all the way in for two so 20 seconds 24 zeros are scored north sides on top they are stuck in that corner once again number 10 josie and off the foot or off of a north side player as we have another sub 33 in eva comes in with 9.4 seconds to go let's
079see if madison can get a shot off before the buzzer or the end of this first quarter gets it into the baseline number 12 takes your shot off the mark rebounded five seconds four three two up and good to end the first quarter north side came out strong and leads 26-0 after one we will take a short break excuse me let's hear your eighth grade spartan cheerleaders there you have it your eighth grade spartan cheerleaders so a big first quarter performance by north side to give them a 26-0 lead coach burton does a great job with his players like he's done in years past here as the eighth grade head coach so here we have it start of the second quarter is underway here as madison's taking the ball of bounds we'll get the ball
080to start the second here let's pass it in to josie looks like northside's gonna go with a man-to-man defense as that one is out of bounds and hit by a spartan player gets it into number 12 lillian sullivan and she's looking to take that one all the way gets to the right block does a little step back off the mark kept alive and a great save by number 41 great hustle play there by naomi clark that's 21 downloaded 33 and a little strong on the layup rebounded by keith kerry excuse me something was thrown out of bounds by the madison cubs so here we go anna brings the ball up to court passes it off to number 41 naomi naomi's looking to give it to somebody they passed it off to page down low into
081number five and she gets that in the fall lizzie gets that one to fall for the first points of the second quarter gives north side 28. as a team total there as the shot is up and off the mark by madison as lizzie's looking to push the ball up the court dribbles the ball over the half court line and she's looking to attack pulls it back out lily's commanding the offense out there calling out plays there passes it off to number 21 paige anna gets that one to fall an easy layup easy layup by north side great offense great ball movement there by north side to get that one to fall and that one is blocked by 21 paige and she's going to take that one all the way but does not get that one
082to fall an offensive rebound by anna she's done a great job on the offensive end tonight pass it off to page page looking like to dribble and pass it off to number 33 ava a great offensive execution there just off the mark looked like it was going to fall but too strong on the layup and rebounded by madison 3 40 to go here in the second quarter madison still looking to get points on the board here as that one is up and strong but rebounded by number 24 for madison and puts her at the line for two see if madison get on the board with these two free throws as the first one is short as we have number 10 graceless cell in for the spartans number 11 ava stays in number five lizzie's in
083number 33 eva and 41 naomi's in for the spartans as madison's second shot is up and good so there we have it ladies and gentlemen madison's first points of tonight came off of a free throw so good for them they're going to go into halftime with points on the board hopefully this can be a momentum creator for them they can get a couple stops here on the defensive end that's passed out to grace pump fakes floater is up in no good rebounded by lillian and she's looking to push the ball down the right hand side jump shot is up and off the mark rebounded by number 11 ava and passes it to lizzie as she is pulling pushing the ball up to court but decides to slow it down under three minutes to go here
084in the second quarter just end low to naomi and off the mark great look pass maybe a little bit too hard there but great team offense there by north side is that his pass is handed off to number three kyra back to lillian and she gets that one to fall number 12 lillian gets the layup to fall on the right hand side with 220 to go here in the second quarter it's 33 ava passes it to naomi passes it to number 33 and a little short on the jump shot lizzy with the pass and madison's pushing the ball up the court number three pass it to number 12. and she takes her jump shot and off the mark and it looks like it was stolen out of the hands by ava she pulled that one
085out of a cub player there as grace has the ball passes it off to ava grace sets the screen for number five and puts her at the line for two lizzie bordart is at the line four two as she's getting ready for her first one the first one is up in good lizzie gets that one to fall see if you go two for two there so number thirteen kaylee wolf in for north side as the second one is up and nothing but net two for two four number five as number two checks back into the game josie with 137 left to go here in the second quarter 32-3 is our score and lillian sullivan brings the ball up to court as that one was almost thrown away by grace but kept alive and grace does
086get the seal and she's pushing the ball up the court passed it off to josie and sadly took too many steps on that one and a travel violation committed by north side see if madison can get something going here before halftime and give him some momentum here we go 120 to go here as number three takes the jump shot and off the mark great rebound and box out by ava as she passed it off to grace grace jumps up looks like she slid a little bit as she tried to jump stop on that one and i travel number two riley passes it to lillian she brings the ball down the middle of the court slightly to the right looking for a screen does not get it pass it to number three back to lillian under
087a minute to go here gets in the inside and the flutter is no good strong rebound by number 13 kaylee wolfe and she's going to push the ball up the court and pulls it back out 45 seconds to go here before halftime and number 11 ava lifted her foot up to cause another travel for north side 39 seconds to go tried to thread the needle there but that one was tipped and stolen but madison gets the ball back pass out to number three back to lillian lillian gets it back and she takes a jump shot and off the mark and great rebound by number 11 ava she pushing the ball off the court josie passed it to grace grace with the jump shot in off the mark a strong rebound by number 33 ava one
088second she's gonna did not get that one off in time so folks there we have it a dominant first half by north side so going to halftime with a 34-3 lead over madison so we'll take a short break and we will return we will have north side basketball so there you have it 8th grade spartan cheerleaders for the spartan 23 nathan russell four points number three kerber with four uh number fourteen increased with uh that's a school welcome back to the live stream here about three minutes until we start the second half once again we want to thank our sponsors columbus auto group and forest construction for sponsoring this video or i should say live stream as we are due to their sponsorships able to stream multiple events at once as we have a live
089stream going for east swimming on the columbus east athletic page and we are here live on the bcsc youtube page so once again thank you to columbus auto group and forced construction pretty dominant first half by north side they are up big here for madison even though the scoreboard is not in favor of them they have done a great job with getting the ball inside and trying to get good looks just great team defense by north side and a very well coached team but for madison you just need to look at the things and keep building on it and get back to work this week and get ready for your next game and see what other things you need to work on as for north side this is only their second game and it looks
090like they've been playing on quite a bit as they have been playing very well as a team as you can hear the team stats for tonight by the announcer a few minutes ago not very many players have quite amount of points everyone seems to be right around the same number of points and that's great it means they're sharing the ball quite a bit moving the ball playing great team defense getting rebound steals assists so you have to be happy with their first half performance so 1 35 left until we start this second half once again we want to thank you guys for watching this live stream feel free to like and subscribe to the youtube channel so you guys will be notified for when we are live once again all right folks we are under
091a minute and so we are underway here see if coach burton will have the starters start the third quarter or if they will have the backups in and let them finish out the rest of this game so all right we just got whistle and scoreboard is up and ready with six minutes on the clock so here we go to start the second half as the north side will get the ball to start the second half is there going left to right and madison will be going right to left as anna brings the ball up the half court line and maggie gets that one and passed it back to anna a three ball is taken and off the mark and a strong and great rebound by number 10 josie for madison as lilian is bringing the
092ball up to court 2-0 passes it back out and thrown away by lillian fox number two josie passes it to anna back to maggie great pass and a great cut by north side just off the mark and out of bounds north side will retain possession 521 left to go here in the fourth i mean excuse me the third quarter a defensive breakdown by madison leaves anna wide open 4-2 she was the leading scorer in the first half for north side gives her 11 points on the night and gets her traps in a jump ball call as madison will retain possession as we have a sub number three cara comes in for madison passes into lillian fox she's backing her way down on the low block and passes it to number 14 14 lilly with the
093steal and she's taking it all the way and up and good lillian priest takes that one all the way for two number 12 hands it off to number three dribbles to the right he's in a bad spot there and stolen away by anna number 14 takes a three and off the mark lily with the three but rebounded by maggie down low to number 13. great move great pass just off the mark but she does follow her shot and get a rebound jump ball possession here two north side four 17 left to go here in the third as that one was tipped but maggie got it back passes it to anna to reset the offense here maggie has the ball back to anna great pass just could not handle it as she tried to get to
