003in employee of Brown County schools first school year 23 24 is there a motion one second any discussion [Music] Elementary School and yes we are incredibly grateful that she has decided to stay with us right all right we'll call Amy yes Carol yes Vicky yes Stephanie yes and number three is recommendation to approve a donation of a thousand dollars for each of the uh following groups from the Brown County Community closet it's a total of four thousand dollars and that would be a thousand dollars for the band uh a thousand dollars per cheer a thousand dollars to Student Activities and a thousand dollars to be interact um I just have a question that that I assume these are high school abandoned and cheer and Student Activities so it's specifically the husband okay uh is there

009name so that's great get a Civic all right uh any other comments well welcome to all of our uh five new uh staff members and teachers I'm really excited to see right so and I am really sorry to lose our other our other teachers and counselors our professional time of year when folks you know uh let's do roll call Amy yes Carol yes Vicky yes definitely yes Doug yes all right superintendent's reports I just have a short report tonight um first and foremost um graduation the the second class graduating from Brown County High School will be this Saturday at 11 A.M at the Larry c banks gymnasium um that is a change I think typically for the at least a few previous years they've been held on Friday evening so excited to do a Saturday
010mid-morning celebration and looking forward to that um and then second I just want to put it out there a little ahead of time at the next board meeting we will um be bringing the new dates uh for the new um school year of 2023 through 2024 and our board meeting dates will be on the first and third Mondays with a few exceptions of when we have holidays that land on one of those Mondays so I will be bringing those dates for the next school year at the June 15th board meeting for approval and then sending out to the media and facing on our website so um I do believe it'll be a change how many years to spend on Thursday evening but um so as many times as I can help get that communication out
011there take advantage of it so um again just looking forward to graduation it is an incredibly awesome celebration so I'm excited friend uh comments under board update I do I'm looking forward to uh next year with board Phillips classes what's that um and that idea came from another employee here in this book thank you awesome all right who knows um I wanted to congratulate our our teachers of the Year from each of the buildings and uh for the whole school corporation um and I um I'm pleased to see the breakfast and the recognition that teachers receive I think that that's really really important it's a job in which you often feel that you're all alone and there are some long nights and uh so it's really good to recognize and I could tell that they
