001flag of United States of stand indivisible withy and justice for all we have a special meeting this morning with one item on our agenda um Mrs count had a conflict so as vice president I uh have a little coup this morning and we'll be running the meeting um we let's go down to it there did anybody sign up for public comment no do I have a motion to adopt the agenda Mr President I'd like to admin the agenda to drop section as we have no items under Section Five this morning do I have a second a second with a thank you Mr Alexander thank you Mr Russell with the motion to adopt the agenda without item five um let's take a vote all those in favor say I I I opposed vote passes three Z
002so we'll go down to action item number six it's the motion or it's the uh the item to approve the superintendent's cont contract I know U Mr or Dr Dr Jason Taylor put together uh a nice presentation last time with a summary it's been posted on the website no one's here for public comment on it um is there anything you'd like to add to that Dr Taylor uh just on a personal note and I couldn't be happier with the selection the board's made um on behalf of all the administration um the leadership Dr long has shown in the past six months uh stands a testament as to why the board's taking this action today um he is the right guy to lead us forward we're excited we're building a great team and uh we really
003look forward to working with him moving forward in this new capacity so congratulations Bill thank you Dr Taylor before we take a vote Mr Russell do you have anything to add we did go through all his references didn't we and you were one of them and and even though you were one of them we're still willing to take this action Ander do you have anything to add what did anybody I know we had a post it on the website did anybody comment on the website at all or anything no the commenting would have been during the hearing okay last week okay which was held but nope no additional comments and I also want to thank you for for stepping up at a at a time where we we needed you to step up and look
