My court's being real panicky tonight. >> I was in high school last night. Okay, 6 o'clock we'll call the meeting to order. >> Please let the minutes read. We have 32 guests and um six board members here plus Mr. >> All right, we'll stand, say the pledge of allegiance, have a moment of silence, and uh repeat the mission statement. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Clinton Central School Corporation educational setting that promotes rigor, relevance and relationships to develop students full potential environment. I want practical look like a metronome maybe. So we all stay on pace. >> We did get off this. >> Yeah, we got off a little. >> Uh

first on the agenda, revisions. >> Yep, you guys do have some revisions to the personnel packet there that I've attached for you. >> We approve the revision. Second move by Katie, seconded by Amy to approve the revisions. Is there any discussion? All in favor say I. I. >> I. >> Opposed. Motion passes 6. Uh, next we need to adopt the agenda as our own. >> A motion. >> We adopt the agenda. >> Second. >> Been moved by Gina, seconded by Travis to adopt the agenda. All those in favor say I. I. >> Opposed. Motion passes 6. recognitions. >> Mr. Le, Mr. Beckman, what's up? >> Hi there. So, before I go ahead and announce the junior high student of the month, one thing I thought I I did want to say beforehand, Mr. Lake and

I really started to think last month that we were going to pick this time. And sadly, you see so much, I guess, at times, negativity. But one thing that really caught our eyes, we really started trying to do the math, and I don't think enough people realize how many great students and how many great kiddos we actually have here at Clinton Central. It's actually pretty impressive how many students we have that do an amazing job that I think oftent times gets overlooked. So, the first thing I'd like to do, I'd like to give a round of applause to all the great kiddos who do a wonderful JOB FOR US. KIND OF MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO pick our such a wide selection of wonderful students. With that said, we ended up choosing this time Finley Lowry.

Finley, if you want to come on up here, Finley, I'm going to talk a little bit about you and then I'll shake your hand. Okay. All right. So, I actually spoke and recommended Finley, and this was a person I had talked to Mr. Lake about for some time. There were several reasons why. For starters, when I first started here last semester, everyone was so nice and caring, but I feel like Finley here went out of his way to make a positive impact and to try to make sure that I was appreciated and that people wanted me to be here. Every day he would come and say something to me. Every day he would say some type of compliment. every day he would be positive. But then I got to pay attention and that wasn't just

to me. That mentality is how he treats everyone around him. That's something that I think as a generation of people we need to try to learn from. I think if we're kind and positive to the people around us, it's contagious. And that's what we need to see. So Finley does a wonderful job of really spreading that mentality that I wish more of us had. That was one of the first things that really drew me to you, which I thought was awesome. As I got to know Finley, I saw him in his classes as I went around to see different classrooms, and I saw that he was a pretty stellar student. I then pulled your grades, and not only do you make straight A's, a lot of them are A+es. It's pretty dang impressive. He's killing

it in the classroom, just like he's killing it with. So, I think that's pretty cool. And the reason I really found Anyone who knows me sees that I wear a pretty strong tie down, but I think Finley's sock game has me beat every day. So, do we have cool right now? >> Yeah. >> Oh, we got it today. Sorry, I had to bring this out. >> Oh, is that Monopoly? Monopoly. See, definitely the sign of a winner. I like it. I like it. >> But all of those reasons I think make Finley an excellent choice for student of the month. So Finley, congratulations. I'm very proud of you. >> Mr. Beckman, Mr. Mrs. I expect you to be just as animated. >> That's what I was going to say. Let down right now. >> WELL,

I was going to have to pull him off. >> We're going have to make Mr. Beckman go last for now on our senior high student of the month, I don't believe, is here. Nariah Harvey was who we selected this week. this month. >> Um, so Nariah is involved in multiple sports. She's involved in volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and softball. So B winter season for her was very, very busy with basketball and wrestling at the same time. Um, she's involved in learning to lead student council, national honor. What drew us to selecting the rise was we had a lot going on in the office one day and we had some two boys in there who can be a behavioral challenge for anybody even people who are veteran teachers and we noticed that Nariah had taken both of

them under her wing and was helping them with their schoolwork and they were responding to her and that that's the type of leader that I think we need to promote a student that you know is successful in the classroom. successful on the court or the field and uh we just went to recognize her. So I'll get that to her tomorrow and she had a ball game this evening. Imagine that. Um so our employee of the month though is Nicole Freeze. Nicole, if you want to come up. So Mrs. Freeze is our English department chair, junior class sponsor, National Honor Society um sponsor, yearbook and social media sponsor. She's a 2004 Clinton Central graduate. Um and this is >> sounds like a long time ago now. >> I wasn't going to say that. This is her

third year here and we're lucky to have her. But she's teaching six different subjects. So, anybody's ever spent time in a classroom, that's six different things that you have prepared for each and every day. And she she was uh willing to give up her prep period this year or this semester. So, she's been doing it by the time she gets here until time it's time to go home. She's working solid other than her launch. So, we appreciate that. That doesn't go unnoticed. Um and so, she recently added business to your MA master's degree. >> Yes. Well, I my MBA qualifies me to teach business. So, I passed this. I TOOK >> SO, this prize, we want to give you this. >> We want you to have dinner on us. >> Okay. Awesome. Thank you. >>

Thank you. Thank you for all YOU DO. I LIKE this little corner over here where you can hide a little. Keep it going. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um, if Mrs. Crumb could come up and join me, I will start with our staff member of the month. I know you hate me right now, but this is welld deserved. >> I wrote notes so I don't forget anything. I said, "TinaRum is one of those people at Clinton Central that just keeps everything running so smoothly behind the scenes that most people probably don't even realize how much you do every single day." And I will probably miss some things as well trying to recount some of it. Um, how many years have you been at Con Central? >> 24 years. >> Mrs. Anard, she told me today she

was going to stick around another 24, >> right? >> No. Um anyway, no matter how many years, obviously anything over over 10 years is just incredible in a public school these days. So 24 years. Um I said that kind of dedication and longevity says so much about not only your commitment to our school, but to our community. As our cafeteria manager, Tina handles things before I even have to think about them. Um in fact, today she came to remind me that my own son's lunch balance is a little low. um which honestly says everything you need to know about just how attentive she is, how organized she is, and she's just on top of it. Tina's constantly staying ahead of the game. Um she orders food not only for daily breakfast and lunch, but she

also plans for Bulldog Club, our after school snack. Um she's already called me to say, "What about summer school? Um and we're preparing for summer school." She always makes sure that all the numbers, the information is turned in on time, and she's always the one reaching out to me first. Um, I just truly really appreciate that level of leadership and ownership because that's a portion of the school that I don't even have to think about. One thing I especially appreciate about Tina and her staff is just the way they help create fun and excitement for our students. Um, whether it's a holiday theme, a special event, a spirit day, or changing up the lunch menu always to match our activities that are going on. Um, like field day today, we had a rain date, so

we had to change the lunch menu to go along with it. Um they just create a very positive atmosphere for our kids to go into each day. And it may seem like a small thing to some people, but those details really matter to our kids. Um and Tina just genuinely cares about making Clinton Central a place that kids enjoy coming to. And beyond those logistics, Tina does an incredible job of leading her staff. She handles the hiring in the cafeteria, supports and advocates for her employees through hard situations with which we have faced this year. Um and just has such professionalism and calmness um and care. So she just takes tremendous pride in her work and I appreciate it so very much. So thank you. Please take a picture cuz my assistant's not my Thank

you. Absolutely. And then we have some kiddos to recognize as well. Um in the month of April, we recognized a kid from each classroom that showed great perseverance. And so their teachers submitted those names to us and we are happy to bring those that could be here tonight up here to get their student of the month magnet. So if you hear your name, come on up. Memphis Peterson, Coraline Seismore, Kingston Lucas, and Haley Jacobs. I see Haley. >> Haley, come on up. >> Come on. >> Will you come stand with me, please? >> Another kid. >> Yeah, just keep as I keep talking, maybe she'll join some friends. In kindergarten, we had Eleanor Shy, Juan Guido, Bristol Nelson, and Rowan Wallace. In first grade, Paisley Mccllich, Brooks, Eli, David Patchet, and Tatum Williams. In second

grade, Jackson Lmer, Axel Reed Roby, Whan Lucas, and Melody Coder. And in third grade, Whan Simmons, Addie Bolero, Conway Longenberger, and Eli Harvey. In fourth grade, Presley Beck, Grayson Estus, Scarlet Bennett, and Scarlet Estus. >> Set of twins there. >> In fifth grade, Audrey Miller, Ava Gonzalez, and Cara Pearly. And then in sixth grade, Elijah Cup, Binley Henrik, and Karina Springer. >> There is coming up. ANYBODY COMING UP? >> WHAT'S GOING ON? >> I see a lot of kids. >> You're welcome. Haley, are you sure? >> Can you get your picture taken with me? Can you please get your picture taken? >> Maybe we'll go out there and maybe she'll come with mom. >> I'm not going to be in the picture. >> You got to come back up, too. >> I heard Mrs. Dary.

Good job. >> I think I do have some free ride passes at Malibu Jack. That sounds She's like, I'm interested in that, too. >> Yeah. >> You look at Mr. You hold your magnet up, girls. Is this all I had to do? Oh, okay. All right. >> Oh, that makes it even better. >> Okay, let's turn this way. Go there, mom. >> Good job. Good job. Way to go. >> Way to go, GUYS. AWESOME. >> WELL, TINA, NICOLE, thank you for all your work you do each and every day. Kiddos, thanks. You guys have how many days left of school? >> Four. Okay. All right. So, appreciate you guys coming. If you want to go home, you can leave. You can tell your mom and dad like, "Let's go." Or you can stay. Whatever. Either

one. But if you if you want to leave, now would be a time. Thank you for all for coming. >> Okay. >> Got three obstainers. Got some of the sters. >> Just when it comes to personal back. >> Oh wow. >> Yeah. So you everything else if you want back >> you guys can measure it if you want. Stay on that wall. >> You guys got to protect that wall. >> That's why I just said it kind of feels awkward. >> What's the movie line? >> What's the line? >> But we avoid the life of you on that wall. You want me on that wall if you get down? >> Yeah. >> All right. Uh there is no public comment. So move on to the consent agenda which we we need to break up the

personnel packet portion of that. I move that we approve minutes and payroll and donations. >> Yeah. >> Second. >> Moved by Katie, seconded by Amy to move approve the minutes, claims and payroll and donations. Any discussion? Seeing none, proceed to vote. All those in favor say I. >> I. Opposed. Motion passes 6. >> So now we can make a motion to approve the personnel packet either minus the football coaches or minus the volleyball coaches. One or the other. >> I move we approve the personnel packet minus the football coaches. >> Second. Moved by Amy, seconded by Katie to approve the personnel packet minus the football coaches. Any discussion? All in favor say I. >> I. >> Second. Sorry. >> Katie. >> Oppose. Abstain. >> I motion passes. 402 >> minus football. >> Yeah, you didn't

have to. >> I had to. >> Oh, you had to volleyball. >> We still That's all right. >> There you go. Personnel minus or just >> just volleyball. >> No, just the football. >> Just football. Okay. >> Do I have to on this? >> Are you on there? >> I'm a volunteer. >> But you're not on there. You're not as far as I know, but I'm looking forward to >> I move we approve the football coach second. >> Moved by Amy, seconded by Gina to approve the football coach portion of the personnel packet. Any discussion? All those in favor say I. I. >> I. Opposed and abstain. Great. >> Motion passes 42. >> All right, >> Mr. Y budget report. >> Y so you guys have the budget report in your packets with additional uh

attachments in there, but um on the screen is fund balances and ratios um for the month ending April. uh appropriation should be right around 33.33% um basically we're at that you know 8% a month um category. So everything's looking pretty good. Um in in regards to the appropriation um our operations budget um obviously we we'll go down again one more month until we get our our midyear settlement. Um it it is like when you look at it it's low but it's actually better than it was last year. So uh we're in a good spot there. Um, and then debt service, obviously that that fund balance is typically pretty low this time of year and it has been all year until we get our June settlement. Um, we'll make debt service payments this summer and then

we'll get our December settlement and we'll make debt payments again. So, um, everything else looks pretty good where we're at right now. So, and you guys have cash forecasts and things like that in your packet. So, >> approve the budget report second. Been moved by Katie, seconded by Gina to approve the budget report. Any discussion? >> All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed? Motion passes 6. We didn't do anything about the revisions. Do >> we need to accept the revisions? >> Well, you you approved the revisions, but you or you accepted the revisions for the agenda, but you didn't approve it, including the revision. So, yeah, make a motion to approve the revisions to the first packet. >> I move we approve the additions to additions to the personal revisions. Second. >>

Moved by Gina, seconded by Amy to approve the revisions to the personnel packet. Any discussion? >> All those in favor say I. >> I. Opposed. >> Motion passes. 6. Sorry, I'm sketched. That's all right. >> I think that's everything. >> Yep. Just a few things. Just want to thank everybody for a great school year. Um wrapping up here very quickly. It's hard to believe. Uh four days to go. Um, and uh, we have a lot of awards program, celebrations, graduations, all those things going on. My my seventh grader is at his awards program tonight. So, uh, I don't know what he's getting. I guess we'll find out when I get home. But, uh, but certainly want to, um, everybody's welcome. You know, parents and family members and grandparents and, um, so I know it's a

busy week at the elementary school and high school be getting graduation practice, but awards programs going on, too. So, um, certainly come join us and recognize our kiddos. And then also um just want to make sure everybody knows that we have plenty of room for 2627 uh for students and we've started putting um signs in yards um of our current kindergarters and Mrs. Acre we're going to send out something this week so we can start getting pictures of them by their yard signs. So current kindergarteners and then next year's kindergarteners and then um this year's senior's class um signs start going out today as well. So um hopefully we'll get some some fun pictures but hopefully there's some uh some good word of mouth starters with neighbors or things like that. um show the good

things that um kiddos are experiencing here and we'd love to have some more of them. So that's all I have items for board members no get a motion to adjurnn. >> Second move by Amy, seconded by Travis to adjourn the meeting. >> All those in favor say I. >> I opposed. Motion passes 6 meeting. >> Thank you all.
