001Yeah. All right. Uh, per Indiana Code section 20-28-11.5-1, a school corporation must conduct a yearly evaluation of the superintendent. Furthermore, when a school corporation enters into a contract with a superintendent, public notice must be posted 10 days in advance of a public hearing. In this instance, notice of a superintendent's contract was posted in the Northwest Indiana Times on February 27th uh ahead of the public hearing this evening on Thursday, March 12th. Uh the proposed contract details are projected up on the screen. At this time, the board will entertain public comment from those in the audience on the posted superintendent contract, which I would add is also posted on the Duel School Corporation's website, I think prior to February 27th. But yeah, uh participants speaking tonight have been asked to sign in on the clipboard, but if you haven't, you're still welcome to speak. Um this is in case the board needs to reach out to you for additional clarity on your comments. Uh statements are limited to three minutes. All statements shall be directed to the presiding officer and a participant attempting to use the public comment portion of the hearing for items not related to this contract will be asked to share the concerns in a different forum. Uh that being said, do we have any public comment tonight? Appreciate everyone who is here tonight. We do not require board action tonight. That will occur I think next Thursday. Uh but tonight was for purposes of complying with Indiana statute from our learned legislature. Thank you.
