with liberty and justice for all. I don't know why my lady is there. I know. I know. You agree with me to do that as president? Yes, sir. All right. So, if you all fall in one, just come down same time. How many of you are there? Okay. Well, tonight we are recognizing our retirees here at the end of this school year for the 2025-2026 school year. And so, we're just going to tell you a little bit about these ladies. As we start, first of all, Mrs. Light. Uh 32 years of service, all with our East Gibson School Corporation and all in the music department. She started with East Gibson Music Department in August of 1994. Uh she received her bachelor's in music education at the University of Evansville in 1993 and obtained her master's

of music education and professional licensure from Indiana State University in 2000. In her previous life, she worked at the WFPC radio station in Pittsburgh or Petersburg, Indiana. During the summer, she reported sports and weather, and she organized the music for the station. So, what was your handle? How in the world did you know that? We've [laughter] got connections. I I had no handle. In addition to that, Mrs. Light also won grand champion mandolin picker at the Indiana official state picking and fiddling contest in 1985 and won other guitar and mandolin awards in state contest in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. So, Mrs. Like, we thank you for your service. >> Miss Sweetcorn, 1989. >> Okay, we know. We know. >> [applause] >> Who is that? >> [laughter] >> Oakland City or who? All right, there you

go, ma'am. Thank you so much. Okay, next up we've got Mrs. Bockholdt. 31 years of service, all with East Gibson School Corporation, and all in fifth grade. Started with East Gibson School Corporation as a fifth grade elementary teacher in 1995. Um obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Oakland City College in May 1990. Was interesting, you did a post of cleaning out your classroom over the weekend and I saw that. So, um so, I understand what you mean. >> from 3 years ago. >> 3 years ago, yes. >> thinking I know, yeah. Coached girls basketball and fifth grade volleyball at Francisco in the early 2000s. In your past life, Mrs. Bockholdt worked as a secretary in multiple departments at OCU and worked in the Pike Gibson Warrick Special Education Cooperative as a

teaching assistant and aide. Mrs. Bockholdt is a Wood Memorial High School graduate, class of 1986, and has been a lifelong dedicated community partner in East Gibson ever since. Thank you, Julie. We appreciate your service. >> [applause] >> Next up, we have Mrs. Miller. 40 years of service, all with East Gibson School Corporation. She has served as a fifth and sixth grade general elementary teacher and middle school science teacher at Barton Elementary School. Mrs. Miller earned her bachelor's degree in general elementary education from USI in 1985 and master of education in general elementary and science in 1992 from Indiana State University. In past lives, Mrs. Miller was a day manager and supervisor for the Spirit of Evansville and was voted as homecoming queen at USI. Mrs. Miller has been a dedicated teacher for the Barton Aces

and Wood Memorial Intermediate School Trojans for 40 years. Thank you, Mrs. Miller. We appreciate YOUR SERVICE. >> [applause] >> AND THEN I KNOW WE HAD TWO QUEENS. I KNOW, this is royalty here, man. Thank you, guys. And last but not least, Mrs. Engstrom. Sandy Engstrom has been with us for 40 years of service, all at East Gibson School Corporation. She worked as an elementary teacher at Francisco Elementary, teaching primarily second grade for her entire tenure until she consolidated OCE, Wood Memorial Park Primary School. Mrs. Engstrom earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Oakland City University in 1986 and her master's of elementary education from Indiana State University in 1992. Previously, Mrs. Engstrom participated in college volleyball and softball leagues. She also tutored during her college education and worked on as a English lab assistant

at OCU. Mrs. Engstrom was a student teacher of Mike Brewster while she taught third grade at Francisco Elementary. 40 years of service. Thank you very much Mrs. H. >> [applause] >> So I know Lincoln said he had two of you as his teacher. So I think he put in your note that he apologized for all the harassment that he caused [snorts and laughter] you. But we just I just want to extend to you my sincere gratitude and appreciation. I mean you know as I wrote in your cards, the amount of children that you have touched through the years and the amount of influence that you had on this community and even on this world just cannot be be put into anything down because you just don't know the impact that we have. And I know

lots of times even as an educator myself, years later you have kids come back and share things with you of the impact that you made that you didn't think you had. And that's the true blessing of being a teacher. And I think lots of times our society forgets the impacts that we make, the lives that we touch and it's not always about the curriculum. It's more about the relationships that you build. And we just thank you for those many many years of I think probably almost over a hundred and some odd years there of experience that we have. And I just really appreciate the time and effort that you put in. We wish you the best in this next stage of retirement. And as I said earlier, I'm a little bit jealous of all four

of you that you're heading out to retirement. But I wish you the best and pray that God blesses you during this next season of life. Mr. Sabir, you want to say anything? I want to make sure you guys sign up for being a sub. >> [laughter] >> I appreciate you guys. Miss Keller, I've known her a long time. So she taught me. Yeah, can I change my mind? >> [laughter] >> Yeah, you can change your mind. I think I'll stay. >> I never heard of Maggie, Indiana. >> [laughter] >> And so the night before my interview, well, I got a call from Stan Young because he found me at the placement office. He said, "Can you come in here tomorrow?" So, I drove up in my Pinto the night before to make sure I could

find them. >> [laughter] >> Well, obviously I could find the place and got up there and I just knew that I thought it was like it was a miracle cuz I grew up in St. Bridget, Indiana, a little town in North Knox and found this place, looked out a window, and saw the farmers. And then Leslie thank All right. We appreciate you guys. Thank you. Definitely so. Y'all blessed. I don't I just want to say thank you for all the I've wanted to be a music teacher since I was four. I never wavered. And this this was absolutely the best place to be. I'm I'm so glad God sent me here. So, thank you guys for what you do. And uh yeah, it's sweet, right? I miss you guys. You're pros. Oh, yeah. If I

didn't become a second grade uh teacher, it was going to be a cowgirl. So, hey. >> [laughter] >> I was a cowgirl, so I think I made a good choice. Yeah, yeah. I know I can't. I might have a broken hip or two, but >> [laughter] >> So, thank you very much. Enjoy, right? >> [applause] [applause] >> Thank you guys. >> All right. Any patron concerns this evening? All right. Uh new approval of the minutes. There we go. Any questions or comments about the minutes so far? Need a motion to approve. I'll make a motion to approve. We have a motion. Do we have a second? I'll second. All those in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? You all should have chance to look over the treasurer's report and claims for the April 13th meeting. Any

questions or comments? All right, I need a motion to approve. I'll make a motion to approve. We have a motion. Do we have a second? I'll second. All those in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? I'll turn the meeting over to the Dr. Guy. Thank you, Mr. President. We don't have any old business this evening, so we're going to go right into the new business. First up on the agenda this evening is um a contract that has been negotiated with the International Brotherhood of United Mine Workers of America for the custodians beginning July 1st of 2026 and going through June 30th of 2030. Um I want to thank Mr. Spindler. He joined me in the negotiations and um we we were able to wrap it up pretty well within about 3 hours, I think. Um and

it's a good contract for us as well as the association. So, um I I the board members had the red lined um copy in their board packet. Do you have any questions? I'm more than happy to answer those. Overall, I think everyone came out very positive, feeling good about the contract. So, I need a motion for approval of that contract. Make a motion to approve. I have a motion. Do I have a second? I second. I have a motion and a second. Any further discussion? All those in favor signify by saying I. I. Opposed the same. And that carries. Second up on the agenda tonight is consideration for the proposed adoption of McGraw Hill's StudySync for the middle school language arts curriculum for the next uh maybe 7 years, is that right? 6 years. Um

at the cost of $35,840 and it looks like I missed whatever that sync was. But anyway, to be paid from the education fund. Um One time, I guess. One time. Yes, one time payment. Yes. Yeah, that's correct. Uh Mandy, do you want to say anything about that curriculum? Um it's it's similar to what was adopted at the elementary school as far as the same publisher. So, we I know you guys adopted K through 5. Uh this just takes more of a literature base um than the science of reading that built up to the learning to read. So, uh my teachers were very confident with the the curriculum and what it offered them. So, we're looking forward to kind of keeping that continuum K through Do you know how many books that was? Uh how many

books? To come up with the $35,000. It it's for about 50 I I asked them for a quote of about 50 students per class cuz that's our average. Um some are a little bit more, some are a little bit less. So, when you purchase the first year, then every year after that, they will send cuz it's a consumable. It's not a hardback book. So, they send the number of student textbooks that are needed for the next year. And this is for 6 years, so Yeah. So, it's 100 and at my school it's 150. Times 6 years. So, this is >> lot cheaper than a hardback. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, it comes out of the education fund, which means that comes out of the per student money that we get. Yes. If you remember correctly, what

the state of Indiana did this past year is they eliminated in a roundabout way, they eliminated the curriculum materials moneys that we were receiving in the past, and it was all just lumped into the basic grant. So, this is This is another way to squeeze money out of us. Correct. This is another way if you do not have enrollment go up this past September, which we did not, you actually end up losing money. And then on top of it, you They mainly looked at about $150 per child or per student for curriculum materials. So, how does that work out on the book fees then? We can't charge fees anymore. Okay. Yeah. So, it's illegal to charge fees. They are starting to permit you to to charge some like additional fees. So, like for example, if

you have a high school student who's taking a dual credit class through Ivy Tech, that student may pick up that cost. Um but as far as actual curriculum materials, we just got something in the state from the state this past weekend that kind of was a flowchart how to make those decisions, but you cannot charge for like this textbook. So, I don't know. For years, we were the only one around that didn't charge. >> Yeah. Yeah. And then we charged for what? Yeah. I like that. I need a motion to approve that recommendation. I'll make I make to approve it. I have a motion. Do I have a second? I'll second. I have a motion and a second. Any further discussion? >> [clears throat] >> All in favor signify by saying I. I. Opposed the

same. Okay, that carries. Next up this evening, um you have for consideration the proposed summer camps for 2026. Um I think they actually start the week after school ends uh with girls basketball and tennis. Uh you know, so um Jeremy is Mr. Marshall who actually put these together uh working with the coaches and stuff. So, we just bring them to the board so that you're aware of when they're coming in and who's going to be here and when. So, um so, I need a motion to approve the summer camps for 2026. I'll make a motion to approve summer camps. Okay, I have a motion. Do I have a second? I'll second. I have a motion and a second. Any further discussion? All those in favor signify by saying I. I. Opposed the same. Okay, that

carries. Up at the board of education has um the duty to appoint members to the uh library board. Um so, the Open City Columbia Township Library Board has a member, Mr. Terry Gelhausen, whose term is coming to an end and he would like to continue to serve um another term. And so, the library uh director sent that recommendation over to me. Um so, this evening I would make a recommendation that we re-up his term for June 1st, 2026 through May 31st, 2030. Um so, I need a motion to approve Mr. Gelhausen um to serve in the Open City Columbia Township Library Board. I'll make that motion. I have a motion. Do I have a second? >> Second. Okay, that motion Motion to be You got to be quick. I've got a motion and a second.

Any further discussion? All those in favor signify by saying I. I. of those the same? Okay, that carries. Next up this evening is you have the final proposal for 2026 summer school. Um, mainly what we're going to be doing at the high school is credit recovery. Um, we are doing middle school math and language arts. Um, and then at the elementary will be the I read remediation which is required by law as well as the jumpstart for kindergarten. Um, we are funded a little bit differently this year. It's going to be based upon credit hours that the students are here. Um, we don't know exactly how that's going to look yet, but we'll see how that that goes for us. Um, so at this time I bring forward that proposal. I need a motion to

accept that. Is there a number a limit to the number of students or is there a a minimum I guess? No, the old the old process used to be 15 students. That was always difficult. Now it's just straight a per student per credit hour. Okay. Yeah. Cuz that was always the tricky part of making sure we had a 15 student and it was across the entire summer school but you had to have 15 student average. Right. for your summer school numbers. I'll make that motion. Okay, I've got a motion. Do I have a second? I'll second. Okay, I've got a motion and a second. Any further discussion? All of those in favor signify by saying I. I. Oppose the same. Okay, that carries. Um, every year I am come to you requesting for permission to

apply for federal and Indiana Department of Education grants. These are including but not limited to title one, title two, title three, title four, formative assessment grant, high ability, early intervention, Indiana Department of Homeland Security, secure schools, and Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. Um, these are a lot of our grants that fund a lot of our programs. This is just more or less mainly a formality for me to have to come to you every year and ask for your permission to apply for these grants. Um, I think you know me well. If I can find money for us, I go out and I try to find that money. So, um, so I just need that permission and a motion this evening to proceed with those grants for this summer. I'll make a motion. I have a motion.

Do I have a second? I'll second. Okay, we have that motion and second. Any further discussion? Find all the grants you can find. That's right. Yes. >> [snorts] >> And we try to stretch them as far as we possibly can, too. Right. That's All those in favor signify by saying I. I. Opposed the same? Okay, that carries. Next up this evening is we have consideration of a contract with PSG Energy Energy Group to do a full facility study audit of all schools in the school corporation at a cost not to exceed $15,000 to be paid from the operations budget. The board, um, took, um, has done an extensive search. We actually had some working sessions of where we, you know, invited different groups to come in and talk to us, share with us what projects

they have done. Um, we took administration as well as board members to, um, Bedford to visit some schools there. We also went to, um, Orleans to visit some schools there. Um, I know Roger and Lynn both, um, attended those. Do you want to share anything about what you saw from PSG and and, um, the other company that we looked at was Site Logic. So. I just felt that PSG was more in our realm as far as the types of schools that they look at. Um, the the gentleman who we would we would be working with one on one. He's a retired superintendent from schools very similar in size to us. Um and he's gone through renovation projects with those schools. And I just I don't know. I felt that they were more They were just

more fitting for us. Uh the other company that whose work we saw, there were some things I didn't like about that work. Um They seemed to work with bigger schools. Uh and they're a bigger firm. And I I'm just I was just kind of concerned that we might be put on the back burner. So, that's Yeah. ESG is who I would be happy with. I fully agree with that. Also, I I like ESG. I like where their time frame is. The energy that they put into it. They do the projects. Um and helping us to uh determine what projects need to be done. Seeing them and building that long-term plan. Uh kind of get everything corrected if need be. Is that what the 15,000 I mean, they're going to give us a Yes. Yeah. They'll

give you an actual uh basically it'll be a computer program. It'll actually have detailed uh you know, like what's major priority. It'll prioritize everything. Um it'll also give us budgeted amounts. You know, and it'll also look out a number of years for our air conditioning units and stuff like that. Yeah. It'll go from the ceiling down to the floor pretty well and underneath the floor in some cases in this building. So, um and the other nice thing I think that I liked about PSG is is that they said, you know, uh for example, furniture. Don't go through us for furniture cuz we're going to do the markup. They said, you know, if you've got a furniture company you work with, you call them, you set that up, you you know, you save that money. So,

they they definitely look for ways to try to save money for you. You know, we can pick our own architect. We can do that stuff in-house, but if there's specific companies that we want to have bids, then we can go ask those companies to bid and and let them do it. So, and and as we go through this process when we actually start doing the construction, then we open bids um and they'll you know, we'll see what we get. Does this give them any role once if if the we pick one of these projects to work on, does this vote give them any role in any of those future projects even though we can pick our own architect? >> It could. They have everything underneath their roof to do the projects. Um it's our choice

if we want to have a separate architect, we can go out and have a separate architect. They can provide other services as well. So, um so, that was the other thing I think I liked about it was that we have the freedom to really select whoever we want, but they could like be the construction project or the project manager um or something to that effect. Do we still have to get other bids? Yes. Or we had to. Yes. >> after they come back with the Yes. Yes, you'll still have to get other bids and stuff. It's not a situation where they they you're cart blanching the entire project. All we're All you're approving tonight is just the facilities That is it. Will they Sorry. Just wanted to ask this, too. Um let's and I know

future tense here, but let's say the audit comes back, will they also assist us in if we needed to say, "Hey, this building's XYZ, it's going to cost this much." Would they be able to help maybe do like a computer rendering if we wanted to look at building a new building elsewhere? Would they be the same outfit? Cuz I know they would help us on the renovation side, but let's say we wanted to build a new somewhere else. Would they do the same? >> Yeah. So, and and that would be a case there, Josh, where you would probably either we could use their architects to go out and bid out to have a different architect. Yeah. Okay. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't tied to renovations only. So. All we're All you're approving

tonight is just the audit at this point in time. You need to make a motion? Oh, sorry. I need a motion. I'll make a motion. Okay, I got a motion. Do I have a second? >> I second. Okay, I have a motion second. I was going to say I love how you guys always have the discussion before the motion. So, any further discussion? >> [laughter] >> All those in favor signify by say Saying "Aye." Aye. Opposed the same. Okay, that carries. We've got [clears throat] to ask when we think about it cuz I'll forget. >> [laughter] >> Board, I I do want to thank you this evening. I think that this is a step in the right direction. Um you know, as as the two years I've been here and it's actually two years this

evening. Um we have really tried to address some of the issues with our facilities. As you know, some of our facilities were built in 1957, I believe, and and they just it's time to really look at them and say what needs to be done. And I know even Amanda and I have talked about that the needs of our students have changed drastically as far as technology, um science, a lot of those things. And our classrooms have not kept up with those expectations. And so, we're excited to start this process. Um it's going to be a long process, but I think it's going to be an exciting time for East Gibson School Corporation and and continue to build on our heritage and really preparing us to move into the future. So And they they will also

if if community members want to come in after after they've done their assessment, if community members want to come in and and walk through things and and see [snorts] really you know, that that electrical outlet needs to be fixed. You know, I mean that's simple, but they will be willing to lead those kinds of tours. So And we do plan on having a lot of community meetings through this process of where we invite the community to come in and really take a look at the facilities and and and even possibly do some field trips to other schools to kind of show them what what our school needs to have. So just get them thinking. Okay, going on. Next up this evening, um we have the consideration for the amendment to renew the food service management

contract with Aramark. Um this is kind of an annual thing that we do. Um so nothing really is changing with our contract. It's just an amendment to renew it for another year. Uh but as you know, Allison does a fantastic job with our food service and just cannot say enough about it. Need a motion to approve that. I'll make a motion to approve. Okay, I've got a motion. Do I have a second? Second. Okay, any further discussion? All those in the favor signify by saying I. I. Opposed the same. And then hearing none, So this evening, um we have a lot of recommendations, personnel recommendations. If you want me to, I can read through those. If not, we can just take them all together. Um I do want to recognize um is this Chris up

here? Okay, Chris Skidmore. We have talked about this and I'm excited to um welcome Chris on board if you approve him tonight. He is going to start our construction trades class and uh we are very excited about this. This is a big step for us as a corporation to kind of keep our kids here and as well to provide them with a skill that is definitely needed in our community and even in our region. So, Chris, anything you would like to say? It's been a long time since I've sat in this lecture hall and the seats are a lot more comfortable than the ones I sat in. Uh I agree. Uh graduated in 1988. I um from Open City. Uh I became a union carpenter and served 31 years, retired. And so, this is my

next adventure, I guess. Mr. Cruz got a lasso me and >> [laughter] >> said, "Can you help?" And I'm more than willing. I think we need a shop class. Just get There's a lot of video games and everything. We need, you know, get their own tools in their hands, how to build stuff. So, I'm excited. Uh I'm ready to get the old shop class back to going. Is Is that Is that what it's going to be? A A wood shop class or is it going to be more You want to build something? So, starting off, we're going to build bird houses and stuff like that. But then, um through the carpenters, we have a program and we've already got the books laid out. Uh you must be getting in the Mr. Cruz cabin. Uh and

it goes into um framing, stairs, uh just anything carpentry. Um and there's three books that we go through, beginning stage on up to uh design, blueprint reading, and everything like that. Um and if a student goes through all 30 stages and everything, he can Some of the things is attendance and how well they do, you know, comprehending driving nails and stuff like that. They can get into the carpenter apprenticeship as a second-year apprentice. First, you start out in the apprenticeship as a pre-apprentice working 55% of the wages. First year, you're 60%. Second year, you're 70%. So, by going through this program through our school, they can come in as a second- uh year apprentice, which is 1 year less of the carpenter school before you become a full journeyman. It's a 4-year college evaluated program

uh that the carpenter's apprenticeship And if anyone would like to go on a tour of the end down in Newburgh, uh to see what the carpenters have to offer, I'm really willing to escort you down there. I used to teach uh the apprentices and everything. I taught at the carpenter school for 20 years. Uh journeymen and apprentices. So, uh I think this is going to be a good fit. Well, uh will this require a lot of classroom work or is it just my hands-on doing the actual work, Chris? We We will be be building uh bird houses, but then we'll advance up to like yard barns and possibility of a a remodel job. There There is is open. We're going to get the kids in there and figure out how to do stuff. And does

it not pertain mechanical drawing with that? Does it like There will be >> All right. Like shop keeper doing to have your cabinet drawing and you have your shop work and they show you how to I'm sure they're going to do blueprints and stuff like that. Yeah, there is blueprint reading and like some of the smaller projects I'll have them draw the birdhouse up before they build it so they have a general idea how to read a blueprint. And as they go on we'll be reading blueprints, how to lay out the walls and door frames and everything like that. Awesome. Thank you, Chris. I need a motion to approve all the personnel. I have a motion to approve the personnel recommendations. Okay, I have a motion that is second. >> I'll second that. I have

a motion and a second. Any discussion? All those in favor signify by saying I. I. Opposed the same. And that carries. Okay, it's time for my report. Um I'm excited to announce um you got a little bit of a flyer there. It's still not completely the way I would like it but it's pretty pretty close. About our new ambassador program. And this is going to start next school year. Um it's going to be a breakfast session. We'll um start at 7:45 a.m. with breakfast and networking and then we'll have a presentation. Um and then also we really want our people our our our ambassadors to get out and visit the school. Um the sessions are kind of there on the side. Admin 101, finance, strategic plans, support services, college and career connection, understanding school safety,

curriculum and assessment, multi-tiered systems of support, which is our special education as well as our um high ability. And then they'll attend the April school board meeting next year of where we'll actually have a graduation for our ambassadors. This is a program that I've wanted to start um to mainly get our community to know better of what happens behind the scenes at our school corporation. How do how are decisions made, um what kinds of things go into making those decisions and those kinds of things. So, we have you also have your packet the application. That's going to be an online application. We're going to put that on our website, but we just kind of wanted to share this with you. Some other school corporations across the state have done this, so this isn't a a

originated idea for me, but it is something that I've wanted to do to really just get the community to connect with us and to get some people that are in our community that are our children um and our ambassadors. So, so we're excited about this starting next year and I think it's definitely going to help us. It's also a great way for us to begin to nurture future school board members. To really give some individuals some knowledge about our school corporation to be able to maybe someday sit in your seats. So, so we're excited about that program and looking forward to it. We had a really good school safety audit. Most of the all the principals sat in with us. I think Mrs. Cruz came in maybe towards the end. Mrs. Officer Huber sat in

with us as well. It was a very positive audit of our school protocols. They were very impressed. The lady from the state was impressed with what we had done over the past year or so in improving some of those protocols and then as well just we had some stuff that other corporations didn't have. And so, overall I think it was really good. It was a good learning experience. She's going to be providing us with a lot of resources as well to do additional trainings with our staff and those types of things. So, we're excited about that. Also, just wanted to recognize you know, it's always great to see our kids succeeding. We had two kids graduate today from 4T. John Light received an award at the CTEC Kiwanis luncheon a few weeks ago. Went down

and recognized him and was excited about that. And so, I think it's always good to see our kids excelling outside of our school walls and excited about that. And also just excited about sharing about our corporation on April 20th. I was invited to do the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents Leading with Excellence podcast. Um that that recording is going to be shared across the state on in July it was a great opportunity for me to share our story here at East Gibson and I was excited to do that. And so those are some things I've been working on this past year or past year past month. And I also want to share a little bit about the Empower Schools Next Gen Sig Grant. Mrs. Cruz and I have been working on this. She's actually

been lifting a lot more load than I have been. But this is a grant that we can apply for. If I remember correctly it's like $3 million and we could possibly get It's a lot. It's a lot of money. It's mainly focused on just middle school. They feel like that we have a very good chance of getting this grant. This would allow us to really re-envision our middle school and really try to bring it up to date. So we are excited about this. We are fingers are crossed. We'll probably be making that application here in the next few weeks. If there's any board members that would like to write a letter of support, I do have a sample that I can send to you. That would definitely be good and then we're actually asking Dr.

Dempsey to write one. Also the Chamber of Commerce to write one. Chad Goldsmith at 4T to write one for us as well. So we're excited about that program and and what we have some potential there of bringing some additional funds into the into the school corporation. That's my report this time Mr. President. All right. Thank you. Mrs. Cruz. The lone administrator >> star tonight. I do want to Hey, recognize John and then Luke and Ethan graduated 14 today. So, look at uh Luke Livermore and Ethan Kelly. Great job was also recognized at the Daughters of the American Revolution. That was probably three Saturdays ago. So, proud of all of those students. Max and Drake, Max Leacock and Drake Wyman also shot at Nationals. I want to give a shout out to Eric and Cindy Walker

because they put in the time for archery to be a program that we can have here and like so many things that we didn't have those two doing that. It wouldn't even be possible for Max and Drake to do so. And they did they shot very very well. I think they were still waiting on results as far as Max Does he get to go to I thought that it was close. He shot like a 290. 292 I think. Something like Yeah. I mean amazing. Amazing. So, that was a great great opportunity for both of them. And then last week was our teacher appreciation week and we I was able to spoil my teachers a little bit. Shout out to Gina Dukes for helping me get some things for them. But we did a 90s theme.

It was very fun. We pulled out the old 90s pictures. So, if you want to see any of the glamour shots, they were amazing. So, but I just really appreciate our teachers. You know, May May is we're tired. We're you know, as tired as the kids are and I mean our adults are tired too. But I appreciate the little bit that we were able to do for them last week to show them how much we appreciate what they put into our students. Uh I want to say thanks for prom. It was nice. The food was great. Kids acted great. Good time. Yeah. Ashley Heneghan and Devin Slusher Devin Slusher are prom sponsors. So, thank you to both of them. It was a busy spring for Devin. So, Yeah. Yeah, it was it was very nice

event once again and I was I was amazed at how many of our students were there. They are good kids. >> was packed. Uh board members, questions, comments? All the ladies have all left, but congratulations to four ladies who are retiring and welcome Chris. Glad to have you on board. Big shoes to fill for the four of you. Yeah. Yes. Big shoes. And I'm excited about construction trades. You kind of barely bounced over that, but that's a huge deal to step step into an apprenticeship. I would love to see more of that. That's an opportunity we didn't have. And a lot of kids are interested. Good luck to the young lady down there on the not the very end, but she's got a baby in the end, pop, I think. I saw her kind of

eight days doing some breathing exercises. I'll let's get this over with. I wish you would have done that earlier. Um 12:00 on Friday is kindergarten graduation, 1:00 is the intermediate school honors program graduation. Um 11:00 on Saturday the 23rd. 23rd. Um if you guys can be at the library at by 10:30, you're going to be able to come. So. That will wrap up the year. I'm very excited about the ambassador program. I think one of the one of the things that we've been I hate to say it, accused of, but accused of is a lack of transparency. And I think this is an awesome way to help that uh feeling go away. All right. I need a motion to close the election. Is there a motion or do I have a second? I'll second. All

those in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? Thank you all.
