We're all >> Welcome to the Fredonia Central School Board of Education meeting for Tuesday, February 10th, 2026. We begin each meeting with the pledge of the flag. So, please join me. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Okay, welcome all the students tonight. Students, um we need first need to approve the agenda for the regular meeting of February 10th, 2026 uh with consent including personnel but excluding A and also B3 and four and also all in consent for new business. Have a motion to bring that to the table. >> So moved. >> Thank you. And thank you. >> Anything pulled uh tonight out of consent? All in favor? I >> opposed. Uh next, uh we hear from
the public. The board has reserved this time to hear comments from the audience. Those wishing to address the board are asked to stand, give your name and address, and please limit your comments to 5 minutes or less. Uh concerns and comments during this session should be directly related uh to uh items listed on the proposed agenda for tonight's meeting. Is there anybody that'd like to speak to uh what's on the agenda tonight? If not, uh, we'll move right into our minutes from last meeting. We need to approve them of the regular meeting of January 27, 2026. I got a motion to bring that to the table. So, thank you. And a second. >> Second. >> Thank you. >> I missed that. Uh, any any questions on those minutes? >> All in favor? I >> I
>> opposed. Uh no, Mr. Forbes tonight or there's no Mr. No, no business. >> No business. Wow. Okay. On the personnel. Um we need to approve upon the recommendation of the superintendent Cassandra Frell who has permanent certification in school as a school social worker is hereby recommended to a tenure position in the school social work tenure area effective February 27th 2026. Do I have a motion for that? >> Yes. >> Second. >> Thank you. Dr. Zilox. Yeah. It's always nice especially when someone can attend. Uh Cassie's here tonight um to celebrate uh some good work over uh uh the last several years. Um one of the things that we definitely um felt and noticed um and wanted to address during COVID was really being able to support students and families um around a number of
mental health uh support issues um and really put ourselves out there to the community and try to be as helpful as possible. um that um took the form of a couple different things, hiring um additional guidance counselors and also social workers. Cassie came on board and delivered 100% and everything that she shared in her interview, but also thinking just about um the overall mental health um of our students um even our staff um and really thinking about how we can help families. She has ingrained herself really in the culture of both buildings that she um works in or has worked in um and has brought a number of um pieces of the puzzle on board um like backpack program um and things along those regards. But I don't want to steal too much thunder. I
want Mrs. Piper and Mr. John to be able to share anything that they would like to. But um well done Cassie. Thank you for everything that you've done. We truly appreciate all your efforts, Mrs. Piper. >> So, thinking about this um tenure meeting and thinking about Cassie Frell and all that she has done for our district, it's hard for me to come up with enough words to cover it. >> Um she's just been I bright light at Welock. I wrote down a couple things. Um wa watching Cassie walk through the hallways and watching the kids flock to her. And these are students that have dealt with tremendous trauma. Whether it's house fires, whether it's food insecurity, um whether it's not having heat, whatever it could be, they know that Cassie's their person. She's safe. She
sees them. She supports them. And she's allows them to then go in the classroom and learn and be happy and feel like they can actually do that despite all that's happening at home. So, um I I have to just note that. I have to note that she steps in. she stepped in as our school coordinator for leader and me. Um, and the team trusts her. They look to her as a leader. Her ideas are genuine and authentic. Um, and realistic as well and knowing what what the teachers can do, what isn't seen as too much, but will also help to increase the culture and climate at Leak is incredible. Um, she supervises interns from the college as well as from the high school. She runs the big buddy program. So she has kids come up
from the high school to work with the students because she knows that importance of those connections with those younger students. Um she does the feed program as Dr. Zelax mentioned ensuring that again that food insecurity that's hard for kids to talk about and even really recognize at that age. They don't truly understand that food insecurity and and Kathy just normalizes it for them and provides just just that safe safe place for them. She provides holiday gifts. I I was laughing at her. She's like Santa Claus at Christmas every day. She was leaving these big bags of gifts that she was collecting for families across Fredonia and um the things that she does. I could go on and on and on and on, but she's just I think one of the best hires Rodonia has ever
had. So well done and congratulations Cassie. Proud of you. >> Any other comments? Any questions from the board? >> All in favor? >> Opposed? CONGRATULATIONS, and thank you for coming tonight. I'm connecting some dots here as we go here from Lake and uh and uh any words uh to the board at all or you don't have to matter, but >> um well, thank you for all the kind words. I really appreciate all the support I've got at Fredomia from the different administrators I've worked with from the top down. Brad comes to Welock on a regular basis. He's in the elementary school. It's such a supportive environment to work in. Um I love the students. Um my high school students, I have one of my big buddies here, Katherine. Um it's just been a joy to
work here and I have so many opportunities to learn and grow. Um, I also had the opportunity to work with Margie Wright this past year for an internship which was amazing. Um, so I highly recommend working at Fredonia to anyone very happy here and uh, yeah, thank you guys. >> THANK YOU so much. you come from a great family and uh and congratulations once again and no need to stay for the rest of the meeting if you don't want to. We're just appreciative you you took the time to come out tonight. So, thank you. So, we're going to move on and on to our next uh tenure appointment. Uh upon recommendation, we need to approve the recommendation of the superintendent Alexander Do who has a professional certification. I assume music is is music. Uh so
professional certification music is hereby recommended to a tenure position in the music tenure area effective november 17th 2025. So got a motion to bring that to the table. >> Thank you and a second. >> Second. >> Thanks Dr. Zilio. >> Yeah. Alex couldn't sneak in tonight. It's all hands on deck for a concert um tonight down the hallway. So she was going to try to sneak over but um wasn't able to do it. Um, I think we all know the bar is set really high in our music program. And when we do have an opening, we really look for people who are going to maintain that level, really deliver quality instruction, build very positive relationships with our students and really keep that bar, if not move the bar a little bit higher. Um, I remember
when Alex came in to interview, everybody was very impressed. Um, and she, much like Cassie, has delivered on all of that. Um she has continued the tradition of Fredonia music really strong um but also creative upbeat welcoming friendly instruction and has just been a real nice addition to um the music department who continues to do a fantastic job. There's a concert tonight and also a band concert tomorrow night if anyone's interested. Um but we are happy to have her on board. Any other administrator want to chime in? Alex, one of the things that impressed me with her interview is that her dedication and commitment to the youngest musicians, and that's really what her career, you know, goal and purpose is. She loves working with those young musicians, introducing them to music. Those first if you
had a young musician in your home, squawky notes or if you were a young musician yourself. Um, but that's really her passion is creating that love of music and helping them to to get to the point where they are top performers um in our high school. And she also started the fiddle club. So that's another um really great accomplishment. But um Alex is a wonderful wonderful addition to our music department. >> Great. >> Hopefully we get down to the strings concert before it finishes. We'll see. Um so congratulations to Alexandra. Uh any further questions from the board? >> All in favor? I >> opposed. So we move in from uh the tenure approvals to uh two resignations which is always a bittersweet moment both for the district and the retirees. Um you know little happy
a little sad definitely happy for them but sad to lose them. Um the first uh retiree is to approve with regret the reservation for the purpose of retirement of Jill Putman, elementary school teacher effective July 1st, 2026 with sincere thanks and appreciation for 27 years of service to this district. Uh could I have a motion to bring to the table? >> Thank you, Mr. B. Thank you, Dr. Zilox. Yeah, just a couple thoughts. I'll turn it over to Mr. Gallinger afterwards. Um, you know, Jill is really the consmate, the professional, um, polite, friendly, welcoming. Um, she absolutely has a strong work ethic with anybody who's been around her classroom. Um, although she is generally mildmannered, she certainly is not afraid to take a position and also advocate advocate for what she believes um or for
her students. It's been a pleasure to work with Jill. Um she has been a cornerstone of the elementary school for multiple years and has just been um really uh excellent support for our students over many years. Mr. J. >> Yeah. Um when it comes to Jill, I think it makes me think of we all have that one teacher who we remember into our adulthood. And for a lot of kids here at Fredonia, Jill is going to be that teacher. Um I first met her my first year. Uh it was a co year. Nobody knew what to do. Uh but Jill did. So she created the amazing race throughout the village of Fredonia. And Ron's kids I think were in that class. She had his kids just running all over the town on their bikes collecting
tokens and she really helped um you know during a unsettling time of co and then her creativity from that day on uh hasn't uh changed. So she's the teacher who still raises caterpillars and turns them into butterflies and releases them. Um, and she's also integrating technology. Uh, at toward the end of her career, she always wanted to seek out new ways to to continue to grow as a teacher. And, uh, for those reasons, people aren't going to forget Jill. And, uh, you know, she'll she'll be replaced, but never forgotten. So, um, I wish Jill well in her, um, retirement. She's not here tonight, but, um, you know, we wish her nothing but the best. >> Thank you. >> Um, any comments? All in favor? I >> opposed. Congratulations to Miss Putnham on her retirement. We
wish we wish her all the best. Also tonight, a second resignation uh to be to approve with regret the resignation for the purpose of retirement of Carol Zurkel, high school teacher in the mathematics area effective July 21st, 2026 with sincere thanks and appreciation for 26 years of service to the district. I have a motion to bring that to the table. So move. >> Thank you. And a second. >> Thank Thank you. Um Dr. Zelios. Yeah. A couple comments. I'll turn it over to Mr. Chinelli. Um in the time that I've worked here, Carol uh definitely has been a strong presence in the high school math um department um that does a fantastic job preparing our students for a number of regents and AP exams. Um she has also coached a variety of sports. Uh most
notably at least um something new to Fredonia is our unified program. Um she got involved in unified basketball and has been part of that program success as well. So um two very different personalities, Jill and Carol, but also as you might know with Carol, you know where she stands. Uh she's not afraid to take a position, she's not afraid to advocate, and she's not afraid to necessarily have an opinion that's different um from others. So, um, thanks to Carol. She will be missed and, uh, we appreciate her work in the district. Mr. Chief, >> yeah, I'd echo all of those sentiments. Um, I'd like to congratulate her on a wonderful dedicated career to Fredonia as well. Um, you know, one of the first things that I did in coming on board was to take a
look at Regent's results and see where we needed to make some adjustments. And one place we pretty much don't need to is is geometry. Um, our our scores are always high and Carol has always set high expectations in the classrooms and kids rise to meet those expectations and I appreciate that. Uh, as a as a principal, um, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention her influence as a coach on many of the student athletes in the district as well. Um, whether it's cross country, whether it's basketball, whether it's unified basketball, she does summer workouts for cross country, um, multiple gear sales for the sports and and it's one one of the reasons our kids are outfitted with a bunch of Fredonia stuff all the time. I appreciate the work that she's put in for our
students and our student athletes here at Fredonia. So, I wish her nothing but the best. I'm I'm sure she'll stick around in some fashion on on the courts or out in cross country or some way. Um, I'd also like to congratulate Jill Putnham, too. Um, she taught all three of my kids, and there's always a special connection when you see a teacher that that had such an influence on your own kids um retired. And I was going to mention the amazing race because I remember riding our bikes around the village during that weird time. and um trying to find where Miss Putnham was at what playground or or what open field she was standing in. So, it was pretty cool. So, I I wish her nothing but the best as well. >> Great. Thank you,
Mr. All in favor. >> I >> opposed. Congratulations to Carol. Certainly, no quarrel with her geometry scores over the years. Very strong and uh certainly put together a fantastic unified program. Put a lot of effort into that. So, thank you to Carol. Well, that moves us right into our second uh reading for the hearing from the public. Uh is there anybody who would like to speak in the second session? If not, we'll go right into Dr. Zilak superintendence report. >> Yeah, as you know, one of the things we've been very happy to have Katherine Yeshuan is um our student representatives here. they've taken a more active role, presented, shared some information. And tonight is another version of that that they've taken a look at the second marking period and wanted to help us celebrate some
good news and some positive things that have happened during that time. So, I'm going to turn it over to you guys. >> Um, I'll start. So for good news involving sports and athletics, our elementary students have been engaged in the winter Olympics unit in physical education and 15 girls will be participating in girls on the run from the elementary school. The youth basketball program for first grade through 8th grade is underway with support from high school players and coaches and quest backpacking classes will begin soon for the eighth graders. Spring sports registration for JV and varsity sports is also open and we are proud of the enrichment opportunities happening across the district including a unified field trip to the Northwest Arena to learn curling and a special visit from our cross country team to the
legendary coach Fred Orford Larson. Um, in the JV and varsity levels, the boys JV basketball won against Fuseburg and the boys varsity basketball has a 16-2 record and is actually celebrating their senior night tonight against Southwestern. The girls varsity basketball picked up an exciting overtime victory against Dunkerk, a good rival win. Additionally, the boys varsity swim and dive scored a 135 points at the CCA championships. Wrestling for the boys, they recorded five pins and a win over Salamanca. And the girls varsity wrestling earned 40-19 victory over the Orchard Park, Hamburg, Frontier, and East Aurora teams. Multiple boys and girls varsity indoor track athletes have placed at recent meets at Poten University. And the boys varsity bowling earned a 4 to zero win over Silver Creek. The girls varsity bowling has already recorded six match wins
this season. Finally, seven Pomonia students have been recognized as WDOE athletes of the week over the past two months. So, thank you for your continued um support for our students and athletic programs. Thank you. >> So, um, very recently, 30 students across the middle and high school, they participated in the CCMTA winter festival, which was held at Shitaka Lake, which was a great experience for exposure, especially for our younger middle school musicians. Um, in a combined effort, the boys basketball team and NHS made a donation to the Lakeshore Humane Society. NHS hosted a basket raffle fundraiser and those baskets were raffled off and the money from that was given to the Lakeshore Humane Society. This past weekend, Fredonia hosted a CCMTA solo fest and a quarter of the students were from Fredonia and it was
ran and organized by some of our high school volunteers. In the months of December, the unified program participated in the Polar Plunge and the contributions went to the Western New York Special Olympics organization. We raised $10,117 and over 30 students jumped into a freezing lake Erie. Um the Fredonia Food and Garden Club made chili for some sixth graders. Ground venison was donated by Mason Thomasesky and peppers and tomatoes were donated by Mrs. Joint and they were served to our middle school students. Student council hosted Santa's workshop for the elementary school. Crafts and games that were winter themed were ran by NHS members and student council members. and Santa came around and gave gifts to the elementary school students. Interact Club made food boxes for Thanksgiving and about 30 Thanksgiving meals were prepared for an average
family size of six. Each box had food such as pumpkin pie, stuffing, mashed potatoes, ham, etc. Also, the Interact Club made angel trees. So, those who don't know, an angel tree is gifts that maybe a child in need wants. And the Interact Club went out and they picked out gifts and they gave these gifts to students for Christmas time. Definitely making children in our area happy. And um eighth grade, eighth graders at Therron Middle School recently wrapped up an exciting project for periodic table. They picked an element and they decided to make it in a 3D way or some people made it on Minecraft and others made it in a foodbased model. And lastly, our mock trial team is firing on full cylinders. It's a new club here at Fredonia which is organized by Mrs.
Hickeyi and it's where students simulate courtroom scenarios as either attorneys or witnesses in hypothetical crime or civil cases. Very nice. Thank you. Any questions about any of the good news before I move on? >> Thank you both. >> Thank you for that. >> Nice to meet you. >> Um, many of you know uh Mrs. Moon, one of our more well-known and popular teachers. Uh, she sent uh Dr. Wright and I a nice email summarizing some of the work that the high school ambassadors have done recently. Um, now a few years ago, Dr. right along with some members of our student support teams um started this initiative. So, I thought she could maybe give us a little bit more information and kind of remind us how this came to be from the get-go. >> Absolutely. Thank
you. I'm excited to be able to share the good work of the student ambassadors. Um and as Dr. Brazil said um under the car's act or the American Rescue Plan, the COVID funding, knowing that students were having a difficult time transitioning back to school, um there were certain grant opportunities, but they came with very specific stipulations. And one of them had to do with students attendance and um resilience, grit, getting back engaged into school. And thus the idea of the student ambassadors was born from that. And at the time there was a lot of concern about families moving. A lot of co had impacted a lot of families to be um relocating. And so the original iteration of the student ambassadors um was to be a group of high school students from a very diverse
range. We wanted to make sure that if somebody new came to the school district, there was somebody who could connect them to like-minded things. It could be so they didn't feel so alone. That was the big idea was connecting. And so that was the first iteration. And as the grants changed, so did the student ambassadors. So we realized like, okay, this was wonderful and it served its purpose, but we're not having that as much student relocation and moving. And so it was like, well, what else are we seeing? And so through that, the students were saying, "We'd like to find a way to get kids more engaged." So the next iteration, they were um doing things on social media, trying to get more students to attend games. particularly they looked at the actual data of
what what are the most popular events that are attended and what has the least attendance. So they were running contests for students to attend to raise the attendance in some of the other areas. Um so that was really neat and we were able to use some of our grant funds for prizes and things like that. So knowing that that was a three-year um grant opportunity we were like okay how is this going to be sustainable? though we felt that some of those goals were met met and what we noticed was that the ambassadors themselves really enjoyed working with younger populations and so they said well what about the idea of engagement but more like staying engaged in school and so looking at some of those attendance rates some of the things that cause students to
perhaps struggle in school and not feel connected to somebody so again this very diverse group of students um this year the uh student ambassadors which are now under the essay title grant. So, they've always been a grant-f funded um group and they are committed to working with students in the uh prek. I know they've gone down to Welock and um up through doing still events for the high school. But most recently, Mrs. Moon um shared with us that over the regents week, some of the students who didn't have regents instead went to Welock and they were in the classrooms and helping out. And um a couple neat things from that have been a few of the students are like I think I want to explore education as a career. So that's very exciting. Um they
are also I don't want to give any secrets away but they have um an initiative planned for the middle schoolers to surprise them um coming up this week with the holiday that may be happening soon. And um then they are also part of the students in the high school who are working for the pride um celebration this Friday for the half day. So they're really doing a lot. They've been down to weak a few times and um they just they love it down there so much. So I know that we lock you I'll let you speak to it if you want to just to enjoy with our turkey trot. They came down for that time and for the holidays and they have half days of free time and they're able to come down. It's great
and they they request to go with former teachers a lot of the time and like to do work there. It's great to have them. The kids love it. Yeah. And that's the idea is they want to be ambassadors. Make connections. see yourself as a grown-up. You too can do this, especially if they're wearing their uniforms or school colors. They have their ambassadors special ambassadors t-shirts. So, it's just the idea that you belong, you know, and um so it's just a really special club that's quietly behind the scenes just really doing good stuff. So, we thought we would uh be excited to share and celebrate some of that good works. >> Yeah. Also just want to mention real quick that this week um our building level teams um related to the seven habits um and also
uh leader and me are meeting yesterday uh the had a meeting at wheelock uh today I stopped by and the high school team was meeting um which includes a variety of different students um which is great uh middle school and elementary are later on this week and Dr. great night actually we're meeting on Wednesday uh tomorrow afternoon. So, um this will kind of re-energize and you know kind of recommmit us um to really bringing those seven habits to life and really um preparing our students as well as also finding some time as adult to reflect on those concepts and um again in the spirit of becoming our greatest selves and really um being able to be as efficient and successful and productive as we can within our building. Um, I also just wanted to touch
base real quick. Although the phone system technically has been done for a while, probably close to a month, there is also a lot of paperwork behind the scenes that needs to get wrapped up in terms of finalizing the punch list, making sure all that work is complete, making sure that everything is documented, making sure that we have our finances um appropriately delegated to those um efforts. So, our phone system is wrapped up both in person and on paper. We're very happy to have this off of our to-do list. Um, and new phones are great. Um, real crisp, clear vocals and a lot of different features. Um, being able to, um, dial directly to a number of people. Also out to cell phones, administrators, so on and so forth. Um, a different way of the way
it does our 911 notifications. if someone were to call 911, a variety of people get not uh notified and uh that's helpful and uh it's just been a nice addition to um our buildings uh both at wheelock and here at the main campus. Um also just want to mention again a lot of paperwork behind the scenes with the capital project. You saw a nice article in the Observer about our bids being approved at our last meeting and now comes a lot of the contracts and setting the stage for that work to happen um coming up in the spring. Uh the highlights of this phase one which is a smaller part of the project is the resurfaces resurfacing of our track here on the main campus. um two playgrounds at Welock and also some roof work
at Welock and also over on our maintenance building um on the Welock campus. So, more to follow up on that, but um those plans are all moving forward uh currently. Lastly, um, as soon as next meeting, we're really going to start to relay more information about our budget process, thinking about our budget for next school year already, um, which, as you know, was voted out by the community in May. And one of the things we've done um as an admin team, as a board, is really think about like what are the principles that are really guiding our decisions um as we think about these work this work. And you can see Kate, I don't get that graph there, but um and thank you Mrs. Morrison for putting this together, but really thinking about, you know,
how do we really strategic align the money that we're spending in the district? again making good on our mission, our vision, also our core beliefs and also supporting those things in our long-term plan. Um thinking about how are we being fiscally responsible and also acting in a way that's sustainable over a long period of time. So really balancing the needs in the moment which with thinking more long term um about our district financially also thinking about efficiency and making adjustments. How do we use data to maximize those resources that we do have presently that include staffing services, aid, materials and supplies as well as equipment. We're also thinking um thoughtfully about um how we set the tax cap each year um and thinking a little bit about absolutely wanting to support um not only our
academic program but our extracurricular program but thinking about those pieces of the financial puzzle, fund balance, reserve amounts to external auditors recommendations and inflation to come to a number that provides what we need in the school but also um is feasible for our taxpayers. Also really focusing and again this is part of that effort here tonight to be transparent in our information sharing and just for the evening really thinking about um you know what are the principles behind our thinking um as we approach this work. um but also over the next uh several meetings sharing information that would be helpful um to anybody looking at our district in terms of finances or if you're a taxpayer thinking about where we're moving forward and what this will look like in May. Um lastly, just really trying
to have an element of flexibility and adaptability. um seeing our budget as a living breathing document or process and as challenges and opportunities come up being able to adjust to take advantage of those situations or address those challenges as they arise. So we will have more information for you um upcoming as we get into a little more the nitty-gritty of numbers with Mr. Forbes, but for the moment, just a little preview of some of the thoughts and the mentality going into this uh process over the next couple months. Any questions from the board? No. So, um moving on to announcements. The next regular board of education meeting will be Tuesday, February 24th, at uh 6 p.m. here in the high school library. Uh any further questions from the board on the superintendent report? Thank you
Katherine and for the positive news in the school of your great addition. So thank you. We are Oh moving right to Miss Sparrow. >> All right. A lot of concert goers. >> I guess there there's not a whole lot of new things for me to talk about today. I mean, you know, I think people think there's a season in special education for annual reviews. I guess right now I would say we are very heavy and invol heavily involved in annual review meetings and the preparation that goes into that and the planning and the future planning. So that's kind of what we're really busy with right now. Um, and I think Cassie is still here, but she said something important for is a great place to work. I think she recommended it. So I guess I'm
going to use that as a little plug. We are looking to fill three positions and um I'm really hoping that we can get those really important positions filled. So we need a school psychologist. We are looking for an OT and a part-time speech therapist. So when those really important positions are filled, I think it will really help our department move. >> Thanks, M. Miss. >> Great. >> I agreed. Mrs. Pharaoh and I share the the task of chairing lots and lots of meetings. So this, but it's well worth it. Um, we had our global school day of play last week, which was the one day that it got warm enough for the kids to actually go outside. So, we were thrilled. We were kind of watching the weather all week. We weren't sure. And they
were able to go out and do some sledding and play outside all day. And it was just great to see the joy in the kids' faces to know that they just had that ability to do um that unstructured play and free time with their friends. It was a great day. Um, we did have our lighthouse meeting yesterday with Barbara C leader and me and it was a fantastic day. Again, Cassie is our coordinator. We got a lot accomplished. We thought of a lot of plans moving forward for the rest of the school year into next school year. Jamberee, all of that stuff. So, lots lots of >> Thank you. It's nice you get it out in the middle of winter. >> I was driving around a lot of ice and g today going on. >>
Yeah, I bet. >> Yeah. Dr. Wright, >> thank you. So, um, I just want to give a shout out to our, um, preK through fourth grade teachers that are working really hard with this literacy initiative. Um, it's a lot of hard work and it's a big lift. And while we all know that, that middle of the year can be that fatigue point where you're just like there's just so much all the time and then snow days and then this and then that and um, but they are staying the course. And that's very exciting to see the verticals conversations being able to be had because everybody's using the same curriculum. So, it's been really exciting. We have those weekly literacy meetings. Um, and obviously if there's too much one week then we might skip a week
here and there, but everybody's very dedicated to those and I give the teachers a ton of credit for that. And it's been wonderful to um, today for example when I met with the first grade team, they shared the rich conversations they've been having with kindergarten and to be able to talk about the common phmic um, the funological uh, curriculum with the grade and the UFly curriculum. That's been very exciting for them to be able to talk about to talk about students coming in and what that will look like at the end of the year for transition and the same with all the grade levels. But we did a midyear SWAT which is just where you look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and we had the key questions and as we went through those
I was like okay let's go back to the beginning and look where we were there and now look where we are mid because sometime in those incremental things you don't see the progress or don't see the goals being reached. So, we're exciting to look at that and then explore that and then we'll do one again at the end of the year to be able to really track our pro progress. But, it's been really I just give a shout out. They're doing the heavy work, you know, with it every single day in the classroom. So, kudos to them. >> Great. Yeah. Without goals, there's no progress. >> Thank you, Dr. Thank you, Mr. Forbes.
