I'll turn it over. >> Good evening, everyone. I am Cody Hadwell, principal of the Gloversville High School. On behalf of our Board of Education and District Administration, thank you for joining us as we celebrate one of our most accomplished groups of scholars, the 2026 Gloversville High School top 10. Tonight, we recognize scholars whose dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence has distinguished them amongst their
002peers. Their achievements reflect countless hours of hard work, intellectual in intellectual curiosity, and a determination to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom. The scholars we honor this evening have set a remarkable example for our school community. Their accomplishments are a testament not only to their individual efforts, but also to the support of their families, teachers, counselors, and members who have encouraged them along the way. As we celebrate these outstanding scholars, we also celebrate the character, leadership, and resilience that they have demonstrated throughout their high school careers. We are proud of the way that they have achieved and excited to see the positive impact that they will make in the future. 003celebrate this well-deserved accomplishment with you tonight. I now have the privilege of recognizing each of our top 10 scholars individually and highlight their many accomplishments. Evelyn Clow, the daughter of John and Lynette Clow, and sister of Noah Clow, plans to head to Nazareth University this fall to major in museums, archives, and public history with a minor in music. Her ultimate goal is to become either a librarian or an archivist. While at GHS, Evelyn participated in many clubs, activities, including jazz band, select choir, marching band, Battle of the Books, Key Club, National Honor Society, Drama Club, National Latin Honor Society, student government, NYSSMA, and was the goalie for the varsity field hockey team. Graduating 10th in her class was Evelyn Clow. Josephine Clark, the daughter of Caitlin and Gregory Clark, is ranked ninth in the Gloversville
004class of 2026. She has been an active member of her community through high school. She takes part in Key Club and National Honor Society. Outside of school, she has been part of competitive dance for 16 years. In the fall, Josephine plans to attend Hudson Valley Community College to uh major in health sciences and hopes to get one of her programs of interest in the medical field and work in pediatrics. Graduating ninth in her class Josephine Clark. Jenna Krch- Krchesky is the daughter of Nicole and Daniel Krchesky, is ranked eighth in the Gloversville High School class of 2026. She has been active an active involvement in varsity swimming and diving, served as an officer in Key Club, and vice president of the National Honor Society throughout her high school career. In her senior year, she enrolled
005in the New Visions Healthcare program at HFM BOCES. In the fall, Jenna will attend Le Moyne College where she plans to major in occupational therapy. Graduating eighth in her class, Jenna Krawczeski. Aleah Villanueva, daughter of William Villanueva, is ranked seventh in the in the Gloversville High School class of 2026. She has been actively involved in Key Club and a and a variety of community service initiatives while also competing in volleyball, basketball, and track and field throughout her high school careers. She will attend or plans to attend the College of Charleston in the fall. Graduating seventh in her class, Aleah Villanueva. Alyssa Casabonne, the child of Brian and Elizabeth Casabonne, is ranked sixth in the high school or the Gloversville High School class of 2026. She has participated in school and club volleyball, SGA, National Honor
006Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Key Club, student mentoring, and Character Education Club. Outside of school, she fosters dogs and she plans to attend SUNY Cobleskill in the fall to major in animal science with a concentration in animal nutrition. graduating sixth in her class, Alyssa Casler. Rowan Holloran, the son of David and Joanne Holloran, is ranked fifth in the Gloversville class of 2026. He was elected president in his class his junior and senior years. He is an active member of the Key Club, National Honor Society, as well as the unified basketball team. He is a three-sport athlete, was honored as an all-state tight end both his junior and senior years, as well as a Times Union and Section II Class B first-team tight end, ranking fourth overall in the state for the position of tight end.
007He was chosen as an overall award winner at the 2026 National Football Foundation Capital Region Scholar-Athlete Dinner, and was awarded his team's 2025 Defensive Lineman of the Year. He was captain of both the football and basketball teams, averaging a double-double his senior year, and was named first-team All-Foothills Council for basketball. He has also excelled in both shot put and discus, making it to state qualifiers. He was recently awarded a full four-year National ROTC Scholarship to RPI, where he plans to continue his football career playing for the Engineers in the Liberty League, and eventually serve his country as an officer in the United States Army. Graduating fifth in his class, Rowan Holloran. Chloe Lyons, the child of Daniel Burdick, is fourth in the Gloversville High School class of 2026. She participated in spring track her freshman
008year, volleyball throughout all of high school, Key Club, and student government. Chloe will attend Siena University in the fall to get her degree in accounting. Graduating fourth in her class, Chloe Lyons. Isabella La Monto, the daughter of Maria and John La Monto, is third in the Gloversville High School class of 2026. She was captain of the varsity soccer team, participated in varsity basketball and softball. She is the president of the National Honor Society and Latin National Honor Society, and is a member of the Key Club, Student Government Association, and the Youth Activation Committee. Isabella will attend FMCC in the fall. Once she receives her associate degree in health sciences, she will pursue a degree in exercise science at a SUNY school with a goal of becoming an athletic trainer or trainer. Graduating third in her
009class, Isabella La Monto. Annabelle Case, the daughter of Matthew and Valerie Case, is the Gloversville High School class of 2026 salutatorian. Annabelle has been very active in the music department throughout her high school career, having participated in concert band, jazz band, marching band, open choir, and select choir. She has been accepted into the NISM Zone 7 Area All State Concert Band for three consecutive years. In addition to that, she participates in many community service projects through National Honor Society and Key Club. Annabelle will attend Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and double major in music composition and music education. She intends to spend her life engaged in any and every musical opportunity that comes her way. Graduating salutatorian, Annabelle Case. Bailey Pierce, the daughter of Margo and David Pierce, is the Gloversville High School
010Class of 2026 valedictorian. She has been an active participant in Key Club, Unified Sports, and represents her student body as the student representative of the Board of Education, as well as other athletic, academic, and community service endeavors. Bailey will attend Northeastern University in the fall to study biology. She intends to pursue a career as a physician's assistant specializing in dermatology.
