E2 Gowanda HS Library: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Can you accept the agenda? E2 Gowanda HS Library: All in favor? Aye. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Next, we have our Board of Education bylaws. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The Board remains committed to providing opportunities for the public to address the Board on items of public interest. E2 Gowanda HS Library: With that in mind, the Board wishes to remind the public of its adopted policy, 15… E2 Gowanda HS Library: which sets forth reasonable guidelines in terms of ensuring orderly discussion and exchange of information during public meetings. In exceptional circumstances, the board may, as

an entity, decide to provide a written or verbal response to issues or questions raised during public session. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The person who wishes to address the board may do so by filling out the appropriate form, handing the form to the Board President, and the board… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Call a common person to speak at the appropriate time. Each such person will be permitted to speak for a time limited to 10 minutes. Please stand behind the board table and address the board directly. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you. Next, we have our calendar. E2 Gowanda HS Library: On Monday, December 15th, at 9.30 a.m, we will have a policy committee meeting in the superintendent's office. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The next regular Board of Education meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 14th,

at 6.30 in the High School Library. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you. Next, we have our 2026-27 budget development calendar. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Can you start with the calendar, Kathy? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Do you want that? Yep. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, the calendar is a lot, driven by state regulations and laws, I think as most of you know, so some of the dates E2 Gowanda HS Library: are basically standard things that we have on here. I did… E2 Gowanda HS Library: keep the way we had the workshops last year, we did them, I think, just the three in February, and we include one in the regular meeting. E2 Gowanda HS Library: for my own purposes, for me, I did highlight things, so if it's blue, it's a regular meeting. Red was the

workshop, it just kind of highlights things. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, as long as everyone was okay with the way the workshops went last year, that's what I, am proposing in this calendar, and we can always modify as we go forward, or if there's something we want to change now, certainly we can discuss it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So that would put our first budget workshop, February 11th. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then there's the breaks, obviously, also in February, so then we'd have another workshop the 25th, and the regular meeting is also on the 11th. E2 Gowanda HS Library: At those two workshops, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Then at the regular meeting on the 1st, or March 11th, we'd have the first draft of the full budget to kind of review. E2 Gowanda HS

Library: So again, there's… that's okay, that's the way I had it right now. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We still have this, to be determined, the BOCES date. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then we would have the budget hearing, at a regular… the same night as a regular meeting, prior to the regular meeting. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then the vote is May 19th. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Any questions or comments on the calendar? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Looks good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Development guidelines, again, most of the… this is pretty similar to last year's, I just kind of rolled forward some things. I did make note, E2 Gowanda HS Library: You know, because we are heavily reliant on the state aid, so we have 70% of our general fund budget comes from the state,

you know, at this point, we have no idea, really, what it's gonna look like for, state aid for education. E2 Gowanda HS Library: At the federal level, we did get some impact aid payments, so they'll start to flow. Certainly if something changes with any of the Title I grants or anything else, you know, we certainly have to think about that. We have a little over 9 positions that are federally funded. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So we would have to accommodate something E2 Gowanda HS Library: Most of them are all teachers, for the most part. Special ed, some, instructional, AIS. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Yeah, AIS and Title I. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So we'd have to consider that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Mainly, on the expenditure side, the unknowns that we do have, are really

around surrounding contracts, so we have the teacher's contract that's expired this year as well, and then we don't know what it would be for this year and next year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then the non-teaching group expires at the end of June, and we have not begun negotiations with those, so we have to kind of just factor those increases or changes in the budget. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The rest of this, other than I did want to highlight There's smart schools. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Which supports a lot of our technology. 26-27 is the final year of funding for that, so as we move forward, you know, into 27 and 28, working with. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Ashley and Matt, we're looking at, you know, kind of a plan of what we're going to

do for funding sources for our technology. Certainly right now, it's supporting all of our one-to-one devices, so we have to kind of plan for increases. E2 Gowanda HS Library: somewhere in the general fund budget, assuming there is no smart schools, which I really haven't heard anything about it, kind of funding for that going forward. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So that's just something to think about in the future. E2 Gowanda HS Library: What would that amount look like, that funding amount that you just referenced for this past year? What does that look like? As far as schools, this past year, what do we spend? E2 Gowanda HS Library: I want to say… Yeah. E2 Gowanda HS Library: It's been over, like, a 5-year span, at least, let's say. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I want to say

it was around… usually around $140,000 a year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: One sec. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I think we're pretty good with it. I think we're one of the few districts that still has, yeah, a lot of schools… smart schools funds left. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Because we actually didn't spend it last year, we used the general fund when we had the increase in the COVID monies, and the federal funds, then we used the general fund E2 Gowanda HS Library: support the Smart Schools purchases, so that then we can expand the Smart Schools purchases another year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: This year, our budget's $219,000 for what we need to replace. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We would be left with $146,000 in our total allocation after this year. And the funds would have to

be expended by the end of the year? E2 Gowanda HS Library: They do… whatever… well, we don't spend rolls over. Oh, okay, another year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And other than that, I really didn't change anything, I just updated it to move forward, so if there's any questions, comments… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Couple. Comments? Yep. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We're basically on your page… 3. E2 Gowanda HS Library: F. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Budgeting practices. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We tend to get our wrists slapped every year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: From the… State Controller, because we budget high, and… spend long. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, But a lot of that's Detroit, because of the massive Possibility of fluctuations. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I mean… He was a special ed family. E2 Gowanda HS

Library: Allen, it can cost us $200,000. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We don't have the flexibility in there, it's… E2 Gowanda HS Library: And if nobody moves in, I mean, that… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Yeah, we're gonna get a wrist slap, but… E2 Gowanda HS Library: We have to realize that that's… what we do. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The other is that, it was mentioned in the negotiations, I mean. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Occasionally, we do slight money, so that E2 Gowanda HS Library: We don't want to tell the unions we have this pot of money. E2 Gowanda HS Library: As we go into negotiations, otherwise they're going to say, we want it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I mean, there are some… Lunch factor, so there's… There's built-in. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The other one

that the board has control over is under number 5, page 7, page 5, I guess. Page 7. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Years ago, the board had set what you… guidelines, or… E2 Gowanda HS Library: For the schools. There's a number of… E2 Gowanda HS Library: And again, this is always subject to… E2 Gowanda HS Library: As we're hitting new boards, as you've been… E2 Gowanda HS Library: I don't think it's actually been revisited. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We just roll it over, but when you approve this, you're accepting it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: these guidelines. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Those are the two areas I wanted to mention it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I mean, none of the rest of you over here will be developing these things, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Any other

questions, comments? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Well, I guess, has there been any… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Section of this that's been a point of contention in the past? E2 Gowanda HS Library: It's been in the wild. E2 Gowanda HS Library: No. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I think during COVID it was. Yeah, there's… yeah, yeah, it was. There was a lot of uncertainty in the budget. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Snap mill's really kind of unique, if you look at it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our, say, teacher-to-student ratios are really low relative to our peers, and that's good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I'm always proud that we can support that. And then, District Board in particular, he's always been very supportive of E2 Gowanda HS Library: ensuring that our high school students in particular have, like, capstone

classes, AP, JCC, dual credit classes, that may not always meet the 12, because, you know, we've got a small population size, and maybe 8 kids want to take computer science, it's not 12, but we're able to do it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: More product opportunities we're able to collect for our students. E2 Gowanda HS Library: More so than many other schools that are of comparable size, so… Yep, that's good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: maybe a tax levy comes up, and at some point, the board's gonna have to talk about if, to whatever degree, then allowable limits you want to raise some of you are not. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That comes up, E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then, just a couple points, we're very heavily relying on state aid, 70% of our budget, so when

people ask about federal government impact, besides the obvious, like, special ed, which I'm not really sure is gonna… E2 Gowanda HS Library: I don't think it's gonna change much. E2 Gowanda HS Library: But state ed departments, ours, New York, and all of them are really very… E2 Gowanda HS Library: government's cutting them, that's gonna impact state ed, and New York State itself is going to have to backfill in really one of its largest budget items. E2 Gowanda HS Library: education, or health. So that's, that's where the pinching may happen, is funding through the state, if that's the case. We're very, E2 Gowanda HS Library: It will depend on state aid, you know, 70%, and if you were to generate one point on your tax level, it's only really gonna generate, like, $60,000, which is a

lot of money, but, you know, it's not a lot when you talk a bunch of our size, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: I don't really just plenty of contention, but something to keep an eye on. I don't really know much yet about what that's gonna look like. I've heard a lot from the governors. E2 Gowanda HS Library: a proposal to January. Don't know what the, State Office Division Budget's saying. E2 Gowanda HS Library: fairly positive news, last time I've heard, and then the advocacy groups, Miscus, and news blood stuff, we haven't wait enough. So, that's… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Coming. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That may be where the controversy comes, because if we get shorted to less than we expect, then we're gonna have to potentially make some hard decisions to actually get these

people riled up. We've had pretty smooth sailing, knock on wood. E2 Gowanda HS Library: able to maintain programs, kind of lose positions through church, even a little impact what we've been able to offer students. So, we'll see. Hope that continues, but… E2 Gowanda HS Library: So next, we have our consensus items to make a consideration motion to vote and approve. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Agenda items 3.01 to 6.03. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Any discussion? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Cool. I have nothing. E2 Gowanda HS Library: All in favor? Aye. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Consideration of motion upon the recommendation of the superintendent for a quarterly claims auditor report for the period ending September 2025. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I apologize. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, up next, we have our review of the Treasurer's Report

and Financial Statement for October 2025. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Discussion? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Dustin, we'll keep moving along. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Next, we have public discussion and comment on agenda items and non-agenda items. I'll have none this evening, that'll get us right into our superintendent's report. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Good evening, everybody. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So we want to… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Folks and gentlemen, congratulations, there's two newly tenured teachers, that poured food in the last 30 seconds. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Michael O'Rourke and Chris Brennemore. Congratulations on those two final additions, to our faculty, to have them on board. Some announcements for the public. Well, first, it was the last time we meet for the holidays, so Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, everything to the board, public. E2

Gowanda HS Library: I wish everybody the best. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Last night, tonight, I had a chance to, be… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Well, entertained by our middle school band and choir, grades 5, 6, 7, 8, awesome work. And then tonight, Jingle Jam, the modern band program, put on pretty, well, not pretty good, pretty awesome concert, for our families and staff, done by our students, so really awesome. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Next Friday, December 19th, is the very last day of school. We go on a two-week break. School resumes on Monday, January 5th. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Next year, he was thinking ahead, it'll be a more compact schedule. It'll be a strange year, so this year it'll be a nice long break, however. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I report out to the community

in the board earlier today, this morning, one of our bosses. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Just due to the weather, slid into the back of a vehicle in front of them, in the village. At this point, everybody's fine, as far as I've been told. So hopefully everybody's well, I'm just letting you know. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And just a couple reminders, one, we're in winter sports season, which is kind of unique, because we've got fastball and wrestling, and a little different than maybe the fall sports, because spectators are right there, with the team and referees and stuff. I just want to remind spectators that we are students first. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We're here to support our students and demonstrate good sportsmanship, period, no matter if you're a parent, staff member, whatever. At the end of

the day, this is just an educational… E2 Gowanda HS Library: agency. We're not pro sports. And I mention that because there's been a couple of instances that come to my table I've been working with the handle, where people just don't behave well, in public. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Confire coaches appropriately. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Just a lot of uns… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, poor behavior. So I just want to remind people the Code of Conduct applies to everybody on school property. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Winter weather, believe it or not, is the winter. If you came in tonight and traveled this morning, you know it's the winter. I just want to remind everybody to dress appropriately, bundle up for the bus stops, to walk to school. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Unfortunately, if we canceled

school for the day of the winter weather was here, we wouldn't be in school until July. So, just, make sure you have plans. E2 Gowanda HS Library: addressed appropriately. Some capital updates, people asked, the pool, it's still on schedule. We are… the air handler unit is still pending. We'll know more about that in February, I think, today, and everything's still on target. E2 Gowanda HS Library: year 2026. Then, last night, the public, I want to thank you, all the voters, whether you vote yay or nay, I appreciate people coming out and exercising their right to vote as a citizen. E2 Gowanda HS Library: But the community approved our proposed capital project, 2025, at 186-6-6, so I appreciate everybody coming out. So now it's the Capital Project 2025, more to follow, but really excited about, what's

to come. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And I think that's all I have. Thank you. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Each student board member, of course. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Okay, so for the elementary school, they just had their Native American Heritage Assembly, November 20th. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Where the people… the people that are specializing in dance, dance on stage, and just share with the community their tradition, and… E2 Gowanda HS Library: That went really well. And then… E2 Gowanda HS Library: they had a PBIS raffle, December 18th, where the students students… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Win prizes and earn points for positive behavior for the elementary school? E2 Gowanda HS Library: And parent-teacher conferences started today, and they go until Friday. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And as far as I know, for the elementary school,

they're going good for the parent-teacher conferences. My coach told me that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And… For the middle school, See Something, Say Something was rolled out December 1st. E2 Gowanda HS Library: It taught students how to recognize and report signs of self-harm and harm to others, so that was a very good hit. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, you're done? Yeah. Okay. Also, for the middle school, they had the 5-6 Sunday in a chorus concert last night. It was really, it was really nice. E2 Gowanda HS Library: For the high school, it's real quiet this month. We have a pep rally next Friday, held by Students Against Instructive Decisions, following our holiday themes for the week, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: We should address it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: participate in those Spirit Days. E2

Gowanda HS Library: And, like Dr. Anderson said, winter sports are here and are in full swing. Hopefully, there will be a home basketball game for the girls tomorrow night against Elikaville. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And, that's all we do. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you, ladies. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So next, we have our Board of Education Communications. I don't have any. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Er… no. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I'm gonna skip right past Ms. Silman's presentation. I mean, if you wanna keep going… It's a great job. I'm just kidding. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We'll turn the floor over. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Alright. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Alright, Darlene Sullivan, thanks, for joining me in State of the Middle School. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, sure. …presentative. E2 Gowanda HS Library: What

do you better expect? What's your camera? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Alright. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Scroll? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Don't click scroll. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Aye. Mission, vision. E2 Gowanda HS Library: included that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: on… So, our priorities… E2 Gowanda HS Library: From our blueprint, on the left, and then our priorities as the middle school, tried to, E2 Gowanda HS Library: be cohesive with the high school, right? So, supporting… supporting 100% of our middle school students in what they need. So. E2 Gowanda HS Library: whatever they need, how are we supporting them? Have lots of conversations with the staff about how do we support them when they're here, what are we doing? Struggles outside of here, but what are we doing while they are here? E2 Gowanda HS Library: So,

to… E2 Gowanda HS Library: go off of that, we're trying to build our MTSS system, which is our systems of supports for students. We're starting at Tier 1. If you don't have a solid base, Tier 2 and Tier 3 are going to E2 Gowanda HS Library: just fall apart. So, Tier 1, Supporting Instruction and behavior. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Like, there's not been quite empty. E2 Gowanda HS Library: SS is? Yeah, so it's our multi-tiered system of support. So, what supports are we providing at each tier? So, Tier 1 is your lowest level. How are we hitting all of our students? E2 Gowanda HS Library: How are we providing support academically, behavior, and SEL. And then Tier 2 is, if you're not reaching those at the bottom with our Tier 1 supports, what are we

providing on our Tier 2 supports, and kind of where our flex comes in. And then our Tier 3 supports is, like, our AIS E2 Gowanda HS Library: Specifically targeting, and that should only really hit 5% of your building, if you're building your system. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, working on that, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Another priority is increasing attendance. If students aren't there, we can't support them. So, how are we doing that? Attendance system, just trying to be proactive. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Including our attendance in our incentive days, including, like, including our Check and Connect teachers to calling home once they've missed 3 unexcused, E2 Gowanda HS Library: The counselor's calling home, myself calling home after, progression of missing school. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Improving behavior, just something consistent across the building, which I'll

get into in a minute. Our behavior is also tied into our incentive days, and then, increasing academic performance, just providing support and feedback for our teachers, E2 Gowanda HS Library: in the classroom and during our PLC time on Tuesdays, how are we supporting students? E2 Gowanda HS Library: How are we, providing our instruction? What are our essential standards that we're focusing on to give our students the best? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our enrollment. E2 Gowanda HS Library: our enrollment has already changed. I think we had 5 new kids in the last week, so, E2 Gowanda HS Library: We're up to 102 kids in 6th grade, but when I did this a week ago, our enrollment was 315. Last June, it was 334 and 322 the year before that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The middle school

provides lots of opportunities for students through sports, trap, cheer, bowling, chess club. E2 Gowanda HS Library: book club, art club, our musical is going to be The Seussicle this year. They're currently, doing auditions. The callback list was just posted today, so we had some very excited students and some very disappointed students. E2 Gowanda HS Library: But that will encompass 140 or more of our students, so that's… E2 Gowanda HS Library: I know my child is looking forward to that, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Art and music programs, if you came out last night, you could see our 5th and 6th grade is pretty big. 7th and 8th grade. E2 Gowanda HS Library: As well. So lots of musicians in our building? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our special ed students, 22% of our population is identified

as E2 Gowanda HS Library: Special ed, so 70%. 24 students, have a 504 plan to support their learning, which is 7%. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Right now, we have 15 kids at our Tier 3 reading and 22 students at our Tier 3 math, so we have one AIS provider for reading and one AIS provider for math, and those are, the targeted students who need E2 Gowanda HS Library: the most support. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our flex intervention is like our Tier 2. We have 61 per, students at grade 8 receiving that service. Our Grade 8 also has an EASE group, which is, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Working on, like, social skills, how are we going to support you, those that struggled the year before, kind of more focused there. And then 24 of our 7th

graders. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Flex for our 6th graders, pretty much all of our students in 6th grade, we were able to schedule a flex for, so that is good. Our flex intervention period for 5th grade is within their ELA, 84-minute ELA and math block. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We… E2 Gowanda HS Library: provide our, 7th and 8th graders with advanced courses, so we have accelerated math and accelerated science. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We offer our 8th graders, Algebra 1, Biology and Lab, U.S. History, and Honors ELA. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We do have some criteria maintaining an 85%, E2 Gowanda HS Library: That was in place before I came. I've been a little flexible on that, talking with parents, talking with the teacher, can they handle the workload, are they too stressed out, or

is there something else that we can do to support them? They're usually put on a 5-week probation if they're below an 85, and then we discuss it as a team. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our state assessment scores and our iReady assessment scores. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, our 5th grade reading… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Scores, we have 41% of our students on the state test in the spring testing proficient. E2 Gowanda HS Library: On our iReady benchmark in September, we had 21% of our students at grade level. So how iReady works is you have to be on grade level. If you're one grade level below, it automatically puts you in a yellow, not a green. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I only counted the kids that are on grade level. So, some of those students,

could be pretty close E2 Gowanda HS Library: It just… E2 Gowanda HS Library: That's just how it falls. So, 6th grade, 33%, in reading on the state test were on grade level, and 17% on the iReady. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Math, 48% at grade level on the state test, 24% on our iReady, and 6th grade, 29% were proficient in math, and 23% at grade level. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I know some of these look pretty low. E2 Gowanda HS Library: But I have had lots of discussions with our team leaders about how are we supporting kids, what do we think these scores, why do we think our iReady scores are so low? E2 Gowanda HS Library: You know, there was some feedback, you know, some kids are just… E2 Gowanda HS Library: over iReady

by the time they get to 5th grade, but how do we get their buy-in? How do we portray the test, and how do we… E2 Gowanda HS Library: What we were doing is they were taking it in their check-in connects, which are not always a core, so it's not always the teacher of record doing it, so we talked about in the spring when we do it, or January when we do it again. E2 Gowanda HS Library: If you're the ELA teacher, you're providing the ELA assessment. If you are the math teacher, you're providing the math assessment, so I'm kind of curious if that will affect the score. Every grade level opted to do, E2 Gowanda HS Library: progress monitoring every other month. So instead of just the Tier 3 students, they opted to do E2

Gowanda HS Library: every other month, every student, to see how we progressed. I wanted to report that to you all, but we have to have 3 data points before we do it, and we're just not there yet. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, they do recognize and, in… E2 Gowanda HS Library: We are working to increase the scores. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Can I stop you there? Just the mechanics of the… E2 Gowanda HS Library: the I-Ready compared to the state test. Yep. So how does that differ? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Why is it so different? No, like, how does it, like, the legitimate mechanics of taking the test? E2 Gowanda HS Library: I already compared to the steak tubs. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I mean, they're both on mine, right? Iready is… E2 Gowanda

HS Library: Sorry, that was my ignorance. I didn't know that they were still taking… they were taking the state test online. I guess that was my… Yes. So the state tests are all online, unless a student has an IEP that says they need a paper-based. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, both online. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, the iReady assessments are strictly, like, multiple choice, or students just, you know, clicking through various questions and choices. E2 Gowanda HS Library: This data assessment will additionally assess, things that students actually have to produce, so the ELA assessment, students will read and then do a writing piece to gauge comprehension and writing ability. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The math assessment, students will have actual problems that they have to work through and show work. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So

I, I mean, I do think that the state assessments are probably a more accurate picture of where kids are. We do know our students have test fatigue with the, with iReady. I mean, they're very used to being on their Chromebooks and taking assessments for, you know, that's how we assess student learning to get them ready for the state test, and I think iReady E2 Gowanda HS Library: It's just, you know, it's chattering for our kids. We've had conversations about how to kind of pump it up a little bit more. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I mean, our kids outperformed on the state assessments, more so than they did on iReady, and that's… it's usually the opposite. So, I think we just… when we looked at the data, we had some conversations about just how to E2

Gowanda HS Library: Get a more accurate picture of what the kids know and are able to do using that assessment. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Appreciate it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: 7th and 8th grade, 7th grade ELA state test was 18% proficient, and iReady was 21. 8th grade, 25% proficient at reading, and 20% on iReady. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Math, 44%. We're actually… the same? E2 Gowanda HS Library: For assignments in 8th grade math, they were both 44% proficient. E2 Gowanda HS Library: However, in iReady, it was 14 and 12. Just a reminder, 7th and 8th grade took NWEA last year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Maybe the year before, too. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And so this was their first year going back to iReady. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So… We feel like a lot of

them didn't put their best efforts forward. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And I know in the progress monitoring that we're doing, we are already seeing growth, so across the board, so that's really good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: This was just a breakdown of each… State test. E2 Gowanda HS Library: by where, the percentage of students fell. Level 1 and 2 is considered not proficient. A level 3 and 4 is where you get your proficiency. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, things that we're doing well, I sat with my team leads, and we talked about what do we feel like we are doing well. Behavior across the board at the minimum? E2 Gowanda HS Library: account. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I'd like to log in as me to open my behavior matrix. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Probably, but…

Okay. I didn't know there was another document embedded in there. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, we came up with, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Just a behavior matrix criteria, what… what are our expectations in the middle school? Respectful, responsible, safe, and productive. What does that look like in the classroom, in the hallway, you know, in lunchroom? All of those things, we're having posters created. E2 Gowanda HS Library: to hang in all of those places to remind students. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, teachers have that. We're being consistent in our language and, how we're redirecting kids. Attendance, we feel like we're… E2 Gowanda HS Library: We're in a good place with attendance. We're also doing attendance pop-up days, so randomly over the announcements, I'll spin a wheel with all of the kids' names in it. If your

name is picked, you can come down for a prize to the office, and it's just random. If you're here that day, it doesn't matter past attendance, just if you're here that day. So kids are talking about that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Like I said, the attendance is tied to the incentive days. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I'm… E2 Gowanda HS Library: We pride ourselves in all of the, outlets and activities we provide for our students, which you've seen on the other slide, and Panther Pride. So, we're increasing Panther Pride through consistency and expectations for behavior, and academics and attendance, as well as, holding assemblies. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And pep rallies, we'll also be doing a pep rally on the 19th for our winter sports, and we held one for our fall sports, so they're super

excited about that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our incentive days, we did a boo bash of lots of different activities throughout the school on Halloween. The incentive was you had to have less than two behavior write-ups, E2 Gowanda HS Library: two or less absences, because it was, like, a six-week period. Every three, tard… unexcused tardies equaled an absence, and then you could not be failing more than one class to participate. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So really saying, you know, you know what, you need to show up, you need to have good behavior, and have good academics to participate. E2 Gowanda HS Library: 182 of our students made merit, honor, and high honor roll for the first 10 weeks. That was 58% of them. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We're offering prevention programs, Lifelines, which is suicide prevention

in 8th grade. See Something, Say Something was, something that was rolled out 5 through 12. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Red Ribbon Week, Project No, Aaron's Law, which is just starting. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The Mental Health Association is gonna do a mental health fair, for our students, on January 28th in the middle school gym. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Too good for drugs, 6th grade just ended, a 10-week program once a week, and 8th grade is starting, at the change of the semester. E2 Gowanda HS Library: student council, the tattoo for the teacher on the Boo Bash Day, set up the turkey trot the day before break, and, we're holding a dance in January for our middle school students. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We're working on project-based learning and assessments, which will help support the high

school and portrait of a Graduate. We're in our early stages of working on that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And having conversations with our teachers. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Therapy dogs are used E2 Gowanda HS Library: all over our building. Kids love them. We have a community garden, a book vending machine, and E2 Gowanda HS Library: We have our prevention displays up in our lobbies. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So where do we hope to be? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Sometime here in the next 5 years, maybe, we'd hope to become our top-rated rural middle school in our BOSIS program. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That's what… what we're hoping for. Increase academic performance across all groups, through innovative instructional approaches. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Increase consistent, positive communication among GMS, you know, students to students, staff to

staff, and provide opportunities for family and student engagement. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Yes. E2 Gowanda HS Library: You learned that I've lost a lot of questions. That's okay! E2 Gowanda HS Library: AI is impacting the work world out there, and it looks like it's going to change drastically over the next E2 Gowanda HS Library: 5 to 10 years. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Are we looking to do anything in middle school? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Get help. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Plant the seeds to spark people into… more hands-on vocational E2 Gowanda HS Library: I mean, any vocational days, or whatever? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Me. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The entry level from E2 Gowanda HS Library: moving to college and getting a job out there somewhere, those jobs may be gone with AI. The

vocational skills. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Some of the BOCES programs, I mean. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Middle school is where you have to plant the seeds. E2 Gowanda HS Library: If I'm interested in this, huh? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Yeah, so PTEC came, and met with me last month, and we plan to do some visits there. I know that the 8th graders, do career plans with our counselors, our 7th and 8th graders, talking about what's available, what's out there. I know when I meet with students, I ask them, like, what do you want to do? Like, because if you would like to go to a CTE program. E2 Gowanda HS Library: These are the things that are available, and this is kind of the criteria that you need to get there, and so middle school

is where you have to start doing that, because E2 Gowanda HS Library: They're gonna be looking, you know, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: do have those conversations. I do know that, we plan to take the kids to an open house as well, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Yeah. Yeah. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I have a couple questions. Yeah. In your hopes and dreams, it's just to become one of the top-rated rural middle schools in our BOCES, how do you plan to do that? So, I think that, with our PLC and just focusing on our multi-tiered system of support, so how are we providing E2 Gowanda HS Library: Rigor to our students, curriculum that is challenging, holding kids accountable and excelling, and making our schedules so that all students are supported and pushed. E2 Gowanda HS

Library: And so… That's how we can do the best. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Support them the best we can. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I have another one. I see that in your last slide that you have a bullying prevention, little thing there in the corner. Is a bullying an issue in middle school right now? E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I do have some… E2 Gowanda HS Library: some students and some parents who are reporting bullying. I know that we used to have OVEAS, and I know this came up at our admin meeting, of how do we be consistent, K-12. And so, I know the middle school has started looking at programs that we were going to share out E2 Gowanda HS Library: Across the board. So, whatever we're doing here in the middle school needs

to also come from the elementary school and go up to the high school. So, we had Obeis before, it was something that we bought into. They're saying once you buy into it, you have it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I wasn't here, so I, you know, so we are going to look into that. These are the bullying prevention rules. I did ask, Kim to make me some posters for every classroom, every hallway, so we are starting right now on the announcements, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Just, what is a bully? What is an upstander? E2 Gowanda HS Library: You know, and just the basics. And that's where we're starting. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So… E2 Gowanda HS Library: And, one last question. I know you're relatively new in your tenure here. What would you say is the

biggest challenge that you've faced so far? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, man. I think, just… E2 Gowanda HS Library: letting the kids know, like, I am gonna hold you accountable, and finding that consistency. I think that they are pushing limits, and so, why was she really gonna follow through? E2 Gowanda HS Library: And so I think they're starting to realize that E2 Gowanda HS Library: I'll hold my own. So, I think we're… I think we're turning a corner. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you. Yeah. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Anybody else have any questions? E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I was gonna circle back to Mark's question, I guess. E2 Gowanda HS Library: from the CTE perspective, and aligning with the portrait of the graduate. Because it was going to be one of my questions anyway.

E2 Gowanda HS Library: But what are we doing in-house? What is… what opportunities do we have in-house that we can… E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, next year, I'm looking at… Reaworking our schedule. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thinking outside of the box, providing, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Like, 10-week rotations, or some encores for our students, so that would provide them with some help, with some computer tech. E2 Gowanda HS Library: With some STEM, and just kind of every grade level, every student then would be in a 10-week rotation. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I'm working on it. Just to give them all the opportunity of something other than, you know, the core… E2 Gowanda HS Library: The regular point. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then I guess my other question was, why stop

at our BOCES? Because our BOCES includes… E2 Gowanda HS Library: What? So we did, we did say, E2 Gowanda HS Library: you know, we talked about Western New York, and we said, let's start, let's start. E2 Gowanda HS Library: With our BOCES, right? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Let's start there, because, E2 Gowanda HS Library: yes, hopes and dreams down the road, we do want to be number one, right? In our county and in Western New York, but I think starting with our BOCES is a good starting point. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That doesn't seem… Oh. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, sorry, I forgot one. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Clubs. Is there a possibility, and is there a process, is there a process in place to add any sort of

clubs? Yep. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Curious. E2 Gowanda HS Library: All done, Jared. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Yeah, thank you very much. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Here in the first few months, great job, right? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Your behavior matrix opens in the attachment, so… Okay, so you're not gonna check it out. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Alright, thank you for that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We have our Board of Education Communications, which I have none. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So I'll get us into a movie. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Have you updated since the last… Policy Committee meeting on Monday. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thanks. I'm not perfect. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Administration Roundtable. Mark, you want to start us off? Sure. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I do have a question. E2 Gowanda HS

Library: I wondered what you need for the warming table. I mean, it's not just a question for me, but it's a question… E2 Gowanda HS Library: I mean, we always take donations of… E2 Gowanda HS Library: Hats, scarves, gloves, even new blankets, coats. I know the elementary school has started a warming table as well, I've seen emails about that, and I think the middle school has too, so we will always take things if people would like to donate. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Our public is generous. Yeah, they really are. And actually, we just got a really wonderful donation at the elementary school. She wants to remain nameless, but if you're listening and watching, thank you. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Jeez. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Is, the chambers are… Wants to have the bands involved in

the… E2 Gowanda HS Library: No worries, I know what you're talking about. The Army… the Army… Well, they have the big celebration this year, next summer. E2 Gowanda HS Library: In July. E2 Gowanda HS Library: to acknowledge. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Hard. E2 Gowanda HS Library: forget how many years? 200. It's something else. I know they told me about it, but I can't remember how long it is, but… Was there an actual request from the Chamber? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Well, yeah, give us the details, we'll make something happen. Yeah, absolutely. E2 Gowanda HS Library: alert you that Dave mentioned it to me 2 or 3 times. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Well, that's something we… when the village had their… Yeah. We'll do something. Yeah, I'm not sure. 250, yeah. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Figure

it out sooner or later, we'll get that man straight. Alright, we got it. That's what it is. I knew it was something! But yeah, they did, yeah. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Okay, and, we wish everybody a Merry Christmas. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That's it. My advice. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Now it's your turn. E2 Gowanda HS Library: The Jingle Jam was fun, just came from that prior to, the meeting tonight, and that was fun. What a nice way to kind of end the workday there. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I did see, I never know when I'm supposed to say things, or when I'm supposed to ask, but I was hoping to ask or get, like, an update about the therapy dogs. I did mention that in an email. Because I know since Pepper passed… E2

Gowanda HS Library: I didn't know if we had a new dog in the high school, or any prospects of a new dog, or… who's in charge of the program, or how things are going with that? Well, I'll do the best I can to answer. So, we have one dog in the high school, Dwight. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Four dogs in middle school, one dog in elementary school at this point. How they come on board, it's really up to people who want to volunteer. I mean, we don't have, like, a recruitment process. There's employees, you know. E2 Gowanda HS Library: want to do it, come forward, and those folks, it's kind of loosening it. Generally, they start in my office, just with a pre-approval application. It's not we have a lot of dogs, but we want

a lot of dogs. Well, sure. You know, they gotta let us know, get approval before they invest their time and money into it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: there. And then new regulations and policies come to class, so… E2 Gowanda HS Library: We got 6 total? Yeah, not bad. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, I wasn't sure against seeking out Juan. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I mean, middle school's a little saturated, perhaps. Right, right. There's way too buildings. E2 Gowanda HS Library: You know, it's not politically correct to think that therapy… the rabbit in high school, that same therapy and one. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That's right, I did forget about that. Oliver, or whatever the name is. Yeah, and then I also just kind of wanted to clarify and reiterate, because I've been approached a few

different times about it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, the capital project, as it stands right now, does not include anything to do with the tennis courts, correct? No. Okay, that's what I thought. That is correct. And so, are there any future plans for the tennis court? E2 Gowanda HS Library: As of right now? Yes. So, about 5 years from now, you know, if we get to another capital project, let's finished up, we'll be ready to do another one, that'll be on the topic of discussion, some of the long-range planning piece. Right. We've got to think about people always talk about additional parking. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Right. You can talk about tennis courts, do you want them there? Do you want to add basketball courts to it, pickle test? So that's, that's on the… E2

Gowanda HS Library: Horizon long-term planning. Okay, because I've heard rumor here and there, you know, that, oh, they're gonna get rid of the tennis courts with the capital project, but I'm like, I'm not into the Capital Project. The problem with the current tennis courts that you've been out there right now is that E2 Gowanda HS Library: If you slow up and you can't really tell to get out there, I think they're actually safety hands here. The foundation of those is actually the old, I think the old parking lot, and that was an opposite mess. So you got these big cracks going through there, and the last… E2 Gowanda HS Library: 2018 capital project, we tried to put a superficial coating on it, get some more years of life, and it just got wrecked real quick,

so… and then I think you probably knew this by speaking, I think you might want to wait until the next go-around, really, to get through before you invest a lot more money in it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I think long-range. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Play tennis, play pickleball, play basketball? Yeah, I would, I would like, personally, you know, like to see some kind of canvassing of the community for that sort of thing, too. You know, who, where is the interest, you know, or whatever. Tennis, I don't know. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Right. Well, in 5 years, it could be different. Right, right. So, and maybe parking is a priority. Right, right. But the village will be great. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, they're trying to, it's Gateway, I think, right? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Splash

pad? No. Oh, okay. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Oh, alright. Yeah, so anyway, so there's that, and thank you for the update on the middle school, that was very nice. I hear good things, so thanks for all your efforts, and I think everything is well received. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And I had something else I wanted to say. Oh, Mr. Olberg, he's, he's pretty awesome. My, my kids have really, really loved him. I don't know the other tenured faculty member as well, but Mr. Oberg, congrats to him, he's, he is… we're happy to have him. E2 Gowanda HS Library: He's a good one. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Tyler calls him the goat, or he's one of the goats. So, if you know, you know him, I guess. He's really transformed. Oh, yeah, he… Tyler would rattle

off, did you know this? And Mr. O'Rourke says… and Mr. O'Rourke says this, and I'm like, well, okay, alright. You know, we're gonna listen to Mr. O'Rourke. So, anyway, that's all I got. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Nope, the only thing I wanted to highlight, just so everybody knows, next Wednesday, the 17th, we are part of a tri-district collaboration with Lakeshore and Silver Creek, and we have several students E2 Gowanda HS Library: And a few faculty members joining those two districts to go to the Buffalo History Museum. E2 Gowanda HS Library: is part of our Indigenous language, curriculum development that we're doing in partnership with, Beluga, they're the vendor that we use through the Indigenous Language Grant, and our students will be going through some exhibits, but then the biggest piece that I'm most excited about

is they're actually curating and creating content for this channel that we use, so we're kind of developing our own Indigenous language curriculum here with the partnership. E2 Gowanda HS Library: taking place next Wednesday, so really excited about that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Drive safe. Yep. Drive safe. Have a nice Christmas. Happy New Year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Which is crazy. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, that's it, that's all I got. It wasn't your turn, Rebecca. I go, I wondered why you were looking at me so loudly. I wasn't looking at you. I'm just here as a guest tonight, I was shoveling, and I wanted to come support my amazing middle school colleague in her presentation. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We are thrilled to have her, because she's holding kids accountable, really supporting, putting really impressive

structures in place, so that kids are prepared for high school. E2 Gowanda HS Library: So, that's why I'm here, I have nothing else to report. Jim, want to leave you out? I appreciate it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I'm done. Now she's mad. Pouting. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Okay. I'm good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Ask the question? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Had good, good game on Friday. It was a very close game. Ended up going in a loss. I won it. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Maybe green? E2 Gowanda HS Library: We didn't watched the JB game, and I showed up… wait. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Right. Pre-concussion stance. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Right? Building off of what Mark said earlier, talking about our gracious community, we actually have a couple drives going on right now. I

know we have this E2 Gowanda HS Library: thing called Operation Santa Paws, which is, like, drive… a drive for, like, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, dog food, cat food, blankets, toys. Also today, the National Honor Society started a food drive this morning at 6.45. E2 Gowanda HS Library: And it will go on till next Friday, when we deliver the items to the food pantry. E2 Gowanda HS Library: If you're willing to donate. Nice. Where do the pet supplies and stuff go? Where do the pet supplies and stuff go? I am not to… there's some boxes throughout the building. Like, where are they donated to? They're going to, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Sorry. Nope, it's okay. I'm trying to think. I believe we connect with our trainer. The shelters around, E2 Gowanda HS Library: Okay, that's good,

that's good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Friends? E2 Gowanda HS Library: I know it's not immediately to our district, but I know the district went over. Sprinkle had an issue with the bus, so I was curious if we had any feedback about that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Was it an electric bus, or was there… I have no idea. It was a gasoline gas bus. E2 Gowanda HS Library: According to the Facebook reporters, everybody was fine, so… Yeah. I do know everybody's safe, but what caused it, I don't E2 Gowanda HS Library: And then, selfishly, that's what I was curious about, if it was diesel, gas, or if it was electric. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Hydrogen. E2 Gowanda HS Library: More hydrogen? Yes. Can't leave? Other than that, I guess the culture of the school buildings, I

guess I wondered if we have any sort of plans for a survey out there? Well, when you talk about culture. E2 Gowanda HS Library: you know, culture and climate, I guess, used interchangeably, but culture's a little deeper, and it's kind of really, I think, valuable our actions. So I don't really be aware of any survey that measured culture. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I don't want any way to do that necessarily, but I think to kind of measure our overall cost, what we value the school community. I think maybe I'd recommend, you know, look at our social media pages. We see a lot of kid stuff there, student activities, a lot of community support, I mean. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Those types of things are neat. E2 Gowanda HS Library: our culture. But if you're talking

about climate, that's a little more moody perception. I think we've had a really good start E2 Gowanda HS Library: the school year. But, you know, it's no secret we're still in negotiations with our teachers, so if you ask them about that, they may be a little grumpy, understandably. So in that sense, I don't know if that's positive. But beyond that, I think, you know. E2 Gowanda HS Library: My students have been pretty positive in that sense. But we do measure school climate every spring for, like, the last 3 or 4 years, the U.S. department. E2 Gowanda HS Library: if it still exists, it's still available, who knows? But we've been using that lately to measure school climate, that we give you feedback about that generally in the summer, and then use that partly to plan

our group for success. But I don't know, Ashley, your principles, I mean, is there anything you want to add? E2 Gowanda HS Library: You're, you're mixed well. That's what I would have said. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I think the middle school's off, too. A good start. E2 Gowanda HS Library: like, like Bob said, I think negotiations are… Affecting there. E2 Gowanda HS Library: But for the most part, I think our building is pretty good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We also take the panorama survey, and that's student connectiveness. E2 Gowanda HS Library: We can just take a look at that. E2 Gowanda HS Library: the reports haven't changed from year to year. We're generally about the same. E2 Gowanda HS Library: That's for students. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you. Which is nationally similar. E2 Gowanda

HS Library: This time of year is tough. I mean, people are just adults, I think. You have the holiday stress, you have economic stress. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Will you ask when you get them? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Overall, I think the school time is just… E2 Gowanda HS Library: I want to say congratulations to Mr. O'Rourke and, Ms. Brenda Moore, for being granted tenure. Congratulations. I also want to thank the, volunteer coaches for the, winter sports. Thankless job in dedicating their time to our student athletes. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Last, I'd like to thank the community for coming out and exercising their right to vote, on the capital project. Much appreciated. E2 Gowanda HS Library: One time. E2 Gowanda HS Library: This past weekend, there was, Christmas in Gwanda, and a lot of our

students participated in the parade, and there was a play at the Hollywood Theater. So I want to say congrats to all of them, it was awesome, I thought it was a really nice weekend. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Also, good job to all the students who participated in the cabaret night. That was really fun. I never experienced that before. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Thank you for your presentation. Personally, I have a middle schooler who is thriving, so I appreciate all your hard work. And, E2 Gowanda HS Library: your… Passion for… holding kids accountable, because I think that is so important. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Congratulations to the teachers on their tenure. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I don't really have anything else. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Someone? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Merry

Christmas, Happy New Year, thank you for supporting, our schools and our community and our students. Without you guys, we really… E2 Gowanda HS Library: be in a good spot, so thank you for your support and your dedication to our students. E2 Gowanda HS Library: I think everybody is… said what there is to say, so… Moving right along to our Arkham. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Any changes or decisions you want to make? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Looks good. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Has anything? E2 Gowanda HS Library: Make a consideration of a motion to recess to recession for purposes of discussing collective negotiations for Senator Article 14 of Civil Service Law and discussing a particular person. E2 Gowanda HS Library: Second. On the paper? Aye. E2 Gowanda HS Library: You can go ahead and shut down

that.
