001Thank you so much. Um, I haven't been on this end of that for a long time. [laughter] I'd like to thank the board and the superintendent and all you folks for leading me up for this. I told somebody the other day it only took me 29 years to get my diploma. [laughter] So, thank you all. And I have my some of my family with [snorts] me tonight. And of course some of you all have grown been probably part of my family also. So thank you again and hope that everything and Dr. G wish you well. You've got a great group to work with. Thank you so much. [applause] He knows. He knows where he's going. [laughter] >> Thanks, Dale. >> Thanks, guys. >> Thank you. >> And then moving on with our student recognition, Mr. Roberts. >> Good evening. Um, so I have with me Cash King, a kindergartener at Rid Path. Um, so this month we are recognizing students who demonstrate perseverance, those who work hard, keep trying, and never give up even when things are difficult. And so we're proud to nominate Cash. When Cash first started school, he faced some early challenges with fine motor skills, handwriting, and letter ID. But through his hard work, determination, and daily perseverance, Cash has made tremendous progress. Now Cash can confidently write not only his name but all of his letters.
