Board of Education: Except the pledge, please! Board of Education: I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, liberty and justice for all. Board of Education: Alrighty. We have a motion to approve the minutes. Board of Education: Exciting. Board of Education: That's fingerprint. Board of Education: They're actually pretty important. Board of Education: And your motion looks like the following financial reports and substitute. Board of Education: Oh, shit. Board of Education: Sorry. Board of Education: It was a curriculum. Board of Education: Standing in for a super turn… this is my most biggest… Oh! Board of Education: You have to do that. Yes, you're right. Board of Education: Paul mentioned the superintendent search update, been alone. Board of Education: process, a
lot of great candidates. Happy to say that, we're at the final stages, final round. Board of Education: Of, interviews this week can execute. Board of Education: So, oh, yeah. Board of Education: And… That's funny. Board of Education: transportation, update, information, right? So, just an update, we currently have 8 girls lacrosse players that are taking the bus, so we have, 7 OCS students and 1 Lafayette student that takes the bus from Tully back to Lafayette. Board of Education: That bus had been departing roughly at 5.45, to go back to Lafayette after Portal. Board of Education: Once it gets to Lafayette, the bus is dropping off the one Lafayette student, and it picks up 2 boys with Prospect. So we have 6 girls, and 2 boys that end up taking that bus, or 7 girls, I'm sorry,
and 2 boys that take that bus all the way back to OCS, and the bus brings them back to the junior-senior high school. Board of Education: So far, so good. I mean, I don't… there hasn't been really any complaints about the bus. One day, I mean, there's two bars and girls on my end. Board of Education: Best Bar, Barcelona. Board of Education: Or do I have some of those things. Board of Education: It is mostly modified players that are taking the bus. We do have one varsity, and once in a while we get a JV player that does take the bus, so unfortunately I decided we have to keep that bus getting there at 5.45, because that's when the varsity JV practice is done. We've kind of looked into Board of Education: helping modify it
out by getting our 515, the team, but in order to Board of Education: you know, wait for the varsity JP to be done, we would have to wait until 545 anyways. So we're looking into that. If there's no need for it to wait in the future, then we can adjust, but I would say, as of now, the trial is working out very well. Board of Education: Take all the coaches that are greedy? Yes, yep. Board of Education: We have both of our, pretty comments and Jeremy Sparks are both waiting with the kids until the bus gets there. Matt, good on your end with drivers? Well, very smooth, gotten up on the board, they've been on it every day, so whatever drivers have time, your name's in. Board of Education: 3 different drivers, right? Board of
Education: Please don't purchase. Board of Education: If you have any questions on the bus, that's all I have for update. Board of Education: I would like to add that thank you for, Brian, for working with the coaches, because we originally thought we were going to be at both locations at the same time. Board of Education: And it worked out with the coaches, so we can do $1,545 until at least 6.5 about the air. So it's like 1,000 yard. Board of Education: Superintendent's your board. Superintendent Snyder, it's an all-time support. So, just a reminder, on May 22nd, Superintendent Conference Day will be a half day for students. Again, the district calendar. A reminder was sent out for last week, and you'll be posted as it was posted. Board of Education: For my class, the district has
earned $221,000 of interest, 103 of which has been generated for a general fund. Not being through the DOT inspection, the New York State ASBO, put out a statement. NYASBO has been advised that beginning of July 1, 2027, the New York State Department of Transportation will build long-term inspection and be purchased Board of Education: buses that are not, zero emission unless the district can demonstrate that they have to wait for those. So, that is, status, and she was saying, once we're doing… it's not zero emission, we applied for the waiver, so more information from them is updated. Board of Education: The public hearing update, one of the pieces of feedback we received on the budget poll last year is that the public wants to hear from parents. Board of Education: So, we have had 5 candidates
return their completed board packets. Lots will be on tomorrow morning, and I am in the district office for the placement of the candidates on the ballot and Newsletter. So at the May 5th, 2026 budget public hearing, time has been allotted for board candidates and share some information. Board of Education: Hearing… The public hearing before, right? Board of Education: And that's all I have. Board of Education: So. Board of Education: Shane was unable to make it this evening. Capital project update for Phase 2, continuation of underground plumbing and backfill, continuation of ground prep for new concrete course to be installed, and Upstate Electric has begun installing conduit for new… all industrial arts auction items have been picked up by their respective purchasers from our auction International. Board of Education: Option. Ground shitters have been working on
spring cleanup, field prep for athletics, for maintenance and a continuation of work order completion, and a big thank you to the grounds and Gaines team for quickly getting on the tables for three games on, last night. Board of Education: As the two folks' locations were unexpectedly unavailable due to the weather, so our maintenance and grounds team did a great job of making the scope look good, and… Board of Education: Fit a microcreation. Board of Education: Really quick, there's just a number of candidates from that, so you guys can reach out? Board of Education: How should you do? Board of Education: Yes, so I have this letter for the board, and if anything else you'd like me to add onto that, call space with how many fans, I would say. Board of Education: But the dated
April 21st. Board of Education: So, this is kind of a simple letter, what that will look like. Again, if you will send that out, the email, holographs, and follows the picture. At least you're aware. Board of Education: Just make sure that these… post this on her website, so I can see. Board of Education: So, probably going to burn. Board of Education: Absolutely. I'm intrins. Board of Education: You go down the science, too, the electronic science in front of Rockville and High School. Yeah. Board of Education: Some budget public hearing at 5.30. Board of Education: Your candidates were canceled. Board of Education: You will update the current posting, which is scheduled to go down tomorrow, for the acts are available to pick up, and, student information. Board of Education: And following that, we'll try to start
eating him, but it seems nerdy, but again, it's a little after absolutely beating the game, it's important to serve. Board of Education: try to stay in power. Absolutely. Board of Education: Thank you. Board of Education: Questions? Board of Education: Presentation team. Board of Education: Alright, day-to-day is going very smooth, Board of Education: Definitely showed you the weather last week. Board of Education: I just know this morning, thank you, Brian, for giving me the update on the, extra athletic run that has been run exposed. Regular athletics, appreciate the, driver's flexibility, to change Saturday, and, you know, Brian's got a game schedule, so stupid phone calls. A lot of teams are canceling for the weather, getting canceled attack. Board of Education: So I just want to thank drivers again for their flexibility, trips get a chance that
they plan on going, re-bid, reschedule. Board of Education: Other than that, things are running fairly smooth. Three days for your day. Board of Education: Thank you. Board of Education: So, we're continuing to work through our third round of social-emotional screeners for the year. We'll finish up on Friday. Our counseling team and teachers do a great job of relationship building throughout our school year, which helps make the process run smoothly. Board of Education: We moved our final MTSS meeting to the end of June. We're looking forward to reviewing the work that we've done, finishing up our goals for this year, and starting to plan our goals for next year. I just wanted to say this is a busy time for both staff and students, and I wanted to share how much I appreciate all the support
planning our teams are doing right now to help our students participate as we move into the last quarter of our school year. Board of Education: Hey, good evening, everybody. So, just an update on pre-K registration. We're currently sitting at 34 students on our list, so just a reminder that we will cap off at 36, and the window technically closes on 21st. Board of Education: So, of those 34, we still have 8 students that are awaiting some kind of paperwork. So, in the case that we do end up over 36 on May 1st, we will only go to a lottery if all 36 of those students have complete paperwork. Board of Education: So, for example, if we have 37 students on May 1st. Board of Education: but only 35 students have complete paperwork, we will not
have a lottery. Those 35 students will get seats, and then whoever turns in their paperwork in the most timely manner will get the following seat, and then that would be the order of the waitlist that they're placed on. We have also been sending out lots of reminders, both individually through email and postings, reminding families to turn in all of their paperwork and letting them know what they have that is outstanding, before the seats. Board of Education: Because we are getting close to that number, that there is a chance that we will have a lottery, which we have not had in the past. Board of Education: So that's something just to keep in mind, as well as the fact that we do Board of Education: historically speaking, get kids registered over the summer for pre-K as
well, so it is highly likely, I believe, that we will have a waitlist for pre-K, so something just for the board to consider proactively what number they're Board of Education: we would be comfortable with to open that third classroom if it gets to that point. So I know in the past we've been trying to get by a number of students that are on the bus. Board of Education: So, any questions about, about pre-K? Board of Education: All right, staff is continuing to meet vertically to develop some common language from pre-K to 2 around letter formation. It's been a nice, PD structure that the teachers are really appreciating, getting a chance to work with teachers in other grade levels. Board of Education: And in that thread, too, on Thursday, we're beginning our peer-to-peer observation cycle, so
every teacher will have an opportunity to go into a different teacher's classroom, for a learning lens that they've selected. Most teachers are focusing either on the implementation of REVEAL, Board of Education: differentiated instruction or on writing, and some are going to see peer on their grade level, it's how they troubleshoot something, and others are looking above and below so they can fine-tune their instruction so they can see where the students are going. Board of Education: to go, and teachers are excited about that. And lastly, this Saturday, on the 25th, many families and staff will be joining the NEDRO community crew for the Earth Day cleanup, and that will be meeting at the NEDRO Firehouse at 9.30 a.m. Board of Education: Any questions? Board of Education: Hello, not much since last time. This week is State
Testing Week, so ELA will be tomorrow and Wednesday. Board of Education: Math will be May 6th and 7th. Board of Education: 6, 7, yep. And the 5th grade science will be, the 17th. So, that's pretty much everything that's going on right now. Actually, the 12th, sorry. A 12th. So, any questions? Board of Education: Great. Just a special shout out to the Drama Club, for the students. They did a great job this, past weekend. Thank you to the community for their support, it was a tremendous turnout. And, special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Cormier for all the staff. Board of Education: And all the staff that, assisted with the performance. The kids did a fantastic job. It's a lot of hard work. Board of Education: They were like, right now, so they did a really
nice job. Board of Education: Just an update, Ronnie's, well, Shannon. Board of Education: We're having our Senior Awards Breakfast on May, 8th at… or, excuse me, the Senior Breakfast is May 8th at Tuscarora. The Senior Awards Breakfast is May 19th at 7.45, at the high school. And, we also have the high school band and high school chorus concerts that same night. Board of Education: We also, started state testing last week for ELA, next week is math, and the second week in May is going to be science. Board of Education: So, having any questions, that's all I have. Board of Education: Thanks. Board of Education: I just had a short one, spring sports underway. Everything seems to be going smooth. I wanted to say thank you to Shane and his group, as Joe said last Friday,
telephone, said, no way. Board of Education: I said, give us a chance. I walked out of the fields, they were completely underwater, but Shane and his crew were able to get both softball and the baseball field ready. Board of Education: So the kids could play on Friday, so that was awesome. And thank you to Matt and his group. You know, changes all the time, constantly, in the athletic world with cancellation in the spring, and you guys have this good feat, so I appreciate you guys. Thank you. Board of Education: Any questions? Board of Education: Representation member, which is often… Thanks for everything. Dramsha was wonderful. Board of Education: Yeah, every year, every performance on one of these, and it's, like, just… Board of Education: The amount of time and energy that the adults put in
to make natural happy students is… Board of Education: I can say goodbye to girls. Board of Education: I'd like to say congrats to Rob on getting fancy positive school. Cha-ching. Board of Education: So, fine. Board of Education: Okay. Board of Education: Just like to thank the board for all the time. Superintendents are hopefully together, and I will say what I said the other night, that we're putting together as a team, and we've come up with possibly Board of Education: Congratulations. Board of Education: Thank you. Board of Education: spring to the end of the pier. Board of Education: And speaking to the birth certificate. Board of Education: census items. Board of Education: Motion to approve to consented or amended. Board of Education: G2? Sound moved? Board of Education: Questions? Board of Education: Each one? Board of
Education: It is where education classes posted mostly. Board of Education: annual election of members. So moved. Board of Education: Questions, comments? Board of Education: Thanks for the welcome. Thank you. Board of Education: All incubator? Aye. Votes. Board of Education: That's… Board of Education: Now, this is the Ocean Bostis History of London. Board of Education: Okay. Board of Education: Motion? Board of Education: Excellent. Board of Education: Thank you. Board of Education: dreams. Board of Education: It still connects to the item. Board of Education: Board meeting. Board of Education: Here, there's, at the baseball cafeteria, budget, public hearing. 5.30 can be about 18 minutes. Board of Education: candidates intended to the Board of Education beginning at 6.30. Board of Education: I think it has a budget vote on the 19th. Board of Education: All day, 7 days
after night, and they're a lot of care for high school. Board of Education: Alright. Board of Education: Mmm… I was at about 9 years, so… Oracle. Board of Education: And then, just a friendly reminder, we, canceled two beanies, page 1.6 into Board of Education: 9th, and be rescheduled to the 2nd. Board of Education: where we'll have the SRO Board of Education: contract above the public hearing at 5.30. Board of Education: And then, we'll have the regular… regular scheduled meeting, it's… Board of Education: And what's not on the list is, the estimated. Board of Education: Good. Board of Education: Superintendent. Board of Education: Yeah, that's phenomenal. Board of Education: It's a different component. Board of Education: Anything different. Board of Education: Fucked. Board of Education: So, no, executive session tonight. Board of Education: It's gone. Board
of Education: I had a motion. Board of Education: So moved. Board of Education: Thunder. Board of Education: Nope. Board of Education: Thank you.
