And uh one of the students and we'll have them here for board recognition won both the 100 and 200 >> uh freestyle and every one of the members of the swim team were in the finals. They didn't win but they were in the final leg. So that was quite an accomplishment like that and we will recognize them uh probably in the December uh meeting like that. But I just wanted to announce that. Okay, that's great, Mr. Stringfellow. Uh, Dr. Krenshaw, any announcements? >> No, ma'am. >> As far as >> I'm

Uh this is I think this is their third time playing each

013other. So we're looking forward to a good game. Again, I know that the Alabama High School Athletic Association is looking forward to this game because of the crowd that we bring forward and the the amount of money that they will receive from this particular game. Uh, want to reiterate something else that Mr. Stringfell spoke of earlier. For those of you that don't don't know, Mr. Threer was a swimmer at one particular time. I don't know if he won a state championship in swimming, but we know that he can swim a little bit. Um, okay. Moving forward. Do we have any citizens request? >> No. Okay. All right. Mr. B, we're going to move on to action items. >> I have one question. >> Yes, sir. >> Mr. Trinfell, y'all have a swimming pool today? >>

They unfortunately uh we don't and I was commenting about this uh and I sent a picture to Renee. They had to go all the way to Huntsville, Alabama. Huntsville. We live down here on the Gulf of Mexico with all kinds of water and to compete in the uh uh contests. Now, a lot of the schools have some uh surrounding school uh pools that they practice, but most of them are at Bishop State when we have our uh uh local or county championships and so forth. So, that's the way we do it like that. But hopefully one day soon we'll be able to host state championships down here.

015>> I always come to Lau. >> Yes, sir. I know. >> Yeah. Well, we >> if you looked at if you looked at the facility that Huntsville has, it's uh it's quite impressive like that. So hopefully we'll have something like that. >> Well, we're working on it with the money that we invested with the aquatic center here in Mobile, Alabama. I hope so. >> Um I know that um Mobile Sports Authority are working real hard to make sure that we bring those type of events here locally. uh working with the Alabama High School Athletic Association. Uh we're looking forward to hosting uh you know swim events is you know statewide as well as next next year we're hosting uh football at the University of South Alabama, right? >> Yes. >> No, it's uh No, no,

016no. >> 27 next year. >> Yeah, sir. You got to be >> South Alabama did >> South Alabama. But >> for next year, >> yes, for 2027. >> So, we're moving in the right direction. So, again, uh the aquatic center is going to be one of our venues that we'll use to host events like that. All right. >> Merry, I do have one thing. >> Since you spoke on that with aquatic park, where we at with the the funding of that? Have we given them their money yet? >> And with also the uh golf course, too. >> I know the golf course I don't know. I don't think the golf course has, but I think we've sent a payment to the aquatic center. >> And how much has that been so far? >> I think

017the total was 500,000. >> Thank you. >> And I think we did receive that money from the school system. >> All right. Moving on to action items, Mr. Superintendent. >> Yes, sir.
