001good morning i'm kate and i'm abby with your morning announcements for november 29th any athlete wanting to order patches for their letter jackets for individual honors needs to have a completed order form and payment to mrs rigney by november 30th order forms are available in the athletic office chevrons and numerals do not need to be ordered they are available for purchase in the athletic office for three dollars each any questions see mrs rigney in afternoons now to emery with your weather i'm memory with the weather and for today's there is a high of 44 and a low of 20 for tuesday there's a high of 50 and a low 31 and for wednesday there's a high of 52 and a low of 31. now back to your announcements junior optimist club will have a meeting
002tomorrow november 30th the meeting will be at 7 15 a.m in room 406. now to braden with a special announcement from the junior high hi i'm brayden rankin we're about to do an interview with mr parcell with the esports team i'm at the junior high hey this is brayden rankin i'm here to talk about the esports club with junior high with mr parcell what games are played in the esports club um at the junior high we have a couple different titles that we're playing in esports we're doing rocket league right now along with the minecraft competitive build challenge here in about two weeks we're going to start playing knockout city which is a new title for us and then in the spring we also play super smash brothers ultimate okay what consoles do you use
003to play the games um most of our games are played on pc we use the old or the pltw lab upstairs but then for super smash we play that on nintendo switches um how do you determine who gets to play like the day like when you guys have a meet um everybody's able to be in the in the organization in esports um and as far as um who makes the competitive teams versus the friendly teams um that that's determined by skill and so we have several practices i look at data points for for their ability levels and then decide who's the best players we put them on get what you wanted finish strong in the quarter two and you may still have time to qualify fans are back in the stands and the cincinnati reds
004are once again offering students the opportunity to qualify for two free reds tickets all you need is to have earned a 3.75 gpa or higher in quarter one quarter two or semester one finals that's it a list will be posted in late january with the names of all the students that qualify now a special report from the elementary i'm jenna foster i'm josie nabi and i'm kennedy lowe and we are in gtv and we are interviewing mrs matthews about her upcoming christmas present and where is the christmas program that you're putting on the christmas programs are on december 6th and december 7th that's a monday and tuesday at the greensburg high school auditorium we do all four of the christmas programs kindergarten first second and third grade kindergarten and third grade are on that monday
005and then first and second grade are on that tuesday and if anyone can't be there we live stream them all on the gtv youtube channel what will take place at this time are there any songs or activities planned each grade level has certain songs that they sing so every grade level kindergarten through third grade has five songs that they sing each the kindergarten ones they just sing through all of their songs we end with a sing-along joy to the world everybody knows that one and then the first second and third grade there are speakers in between the songs so the kids might sing two songs or they might sing a song and then two kids might speak and then they'll sing another song and two kids might speak all the way through so you get
006to hear some kids say different parts and then all the kids sing what would you say that the students involved are most looking forward to at this time i'd say the kids are most looking forward to performing in the high school auditorium they've never lots of them have never performed ever before on a stage and when we go over to the high school to practice we always do that right before they are amazed when they see that big auditorium and the lights are up and they're all on the stage they get really excited and it just seems really big to them so i think they're most excited to perform on their stage and then to also do the bows and get all the applause that's what makes it so fun madam morgan with your lunch
