004interview mrs million what is the biggest issue and why we can't get food the biggest issue i think is manufacturers are having labor issues like we talked about before where you know people decide to retire over covid and so a big part of that population is not even available to work on top of lots of different reasons kids being home for school things like that but the biggest thing is supply chain issues so it's not just one thing that does that so you'll see manufacturers trying to have to just scale down their variety of products that they have so k-12 foods are often pushed to the back because they are so regulated and they're so specific in their guidelines things like that and then just getting the food here you know trucking issues transportation getting

005cars it's kind of a there's not just one thing but for us i think it's because it's so specific um the regulations on the type of food we can buy um what happened to pepsi and kellogg's and how does that affect us okay so on top of supply chain issues and normal pandemic issues you'll see just everyday things that before would happen and they could shift production to another factory and they just don't have that option now so i know kellogg's out of memphis where most of the whole grain is made their factory caught on fire so that put a big halt to production of whole grain cereals and stuff which is what schools ordered and then kellogg's in battle creek they had an employee strike so that was the other issue there and then

006one of the pepsi cola factories um when the bottling factories had caught fire as well so we get information from our main suppliers on just those types of things that go into just why they can't get products so like even though it's like first part of the year we couldn't get gatorade and you couldn't find it anywhere and now the big thing is we can't find body armor and it's just i think they have to pick and choose and decide what's going to make them the most money and most profitable because they're struggling as well so the yearbook club this year have a great day and be sure to follow us on twitter snapchat and instagram at gchs pirates also be sure to listen to
