001[Music] do [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] do [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] hey [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] um the greensburg pirates have been a strong team this year i believe we have not lost a game yet and north decatur the team we are playing tonight has lost a few games and i believe only have one win evan what can what what can we expect to see tonight with this matchup i think north is probably going to start pressing a lot because our offense is going to run i think we're going to run down on them a lot we got sparks he's looking pretty hot this year
002comer brendan stanley down in the paint we're not looking too bad this year i think we i think it's going to be a good one i would agree there um and it appears that trent gauck one of north's players has some sort of arm brace on or wrist brace and i'm not sure if he's going to be in the action tonight but he's one of north decatur's key players and if they don't have him tonight that's going to be a tough loss for them they're going to have to have someone step up and fill his role tonight for the pirates the chargers they really need to look out for uh lane sparks they're they might have some trouble shutting him down uh colin cummer good shooter kai dyer good shooter driver brendan stanley excellent in
003the paint gets down there very fast and very efficiently um you know i just said walters too he posed up down there i just think the pirates might have a better shot at it tonight uh evan what are your thoughts i think we got it in the bag it's not gonna lie you think so yeah i think we can we'll see how it goes but i feel like we're gonna run down on them a little bit yeah once we start pounding inside down in the paint and then we're going to shoot our outside shots and if we're hitting both north decatur really doesn't have anything they can do for it uh so yeah and i think we're getting ready to get this game underway i bet i bet sparks puts up 25. you ain't 25
004tonight oh i bet he has more he's got his uh he's got huntington here watching him who he of course just signed to sign to so yeah should be a good game for him to show out and show him what he's made of again we're just i believe just over a minute away from starting this match up tonight been in 30 seconds actually both coaches are talking to their teams here uh the five starters from either team are on the bench sitting down and i mean north decatur they have a new coach this year uh knobby stepped down as coach and i'm curious to see just how experienced their new coach is i've heard good things about him he was previously their jv coach last year i believe and uh yeah we'll see we'll see
005what happens here buzzer should be ringing any time here and we should be getting down to the national anthem and uh get down to the announcements and here we go we'll see you here in just a few moments positive you [Music] uh the national anthem has just been played and we are getting ready to meet the starting lineup for the north decatur chargers for the chargers carver carson palmer and the other four senior number 33 connor and connor messer those are the five starters for the north decatur chargers yeah trent gauch's not starting yeah actually hurt [Music] and here we go just about ready for tip-off officials get on the court both teams out on the court and we're about to ready to get this game underway now it appears we have carson parmer and
006colin cummer tipping today curious to see who will win this tip as they both appear to be about the same height and let's get this match-up underway whistle blows and here we go tips up and calm comer tips it back to walters for the pirates and the pirates looking to just run some motion here at the start see if they can get anything open um you know they've been one to run motion all year that's a big part of stacey myers uh forte there they really like that motion sparks drives in excellent drive by him wasn't it that was solid ran the baseline bucker hide for the chargers has the ball guarded by stanley dishes it down low to knobby knobby looking to get something going but cummer really has tight defense on him chargers
007just swinging the ball around right now just looking for the open shot there's a little bit of a push off no a blocking foul called on lane sparks quick foul to pick up for sparks as we're not even a minute into this game he's gonna have to be cautious here going on into the end of the first and second quarter pirates once again just on the chargers very tight here not letting them really get an inch of space on him that's something i'm sure they work on constantly they i mean we've always been a solid defensive team there's just no doubt about it that we can stop the chargers tonight anywhere they go and there's nob he goes up for the two points but it's rebounded by cummer swung out to sparks down the court
008got a foul sparks yep draws the foul what a good play by sparks as he's come out to a quick roll on this one number five sparks will shoot two from the line here and here goes spark says he'll line up for two shots first one rolls around the rim and goes in pirates now take a 3-0 lead with just over a minute into this first quarter sparks up and in for the second one chargers get it out quickly mucker height for the chargers dribbling up top passes it to parmer palmer down and in but misses the pass to messer uh that's just something the chargers should probably work on if they want to stay into this game they had a good look down there but they just couldn't put the pass on point pirates
009just looking to swing the ball again once swing the ball around once more until they get an open shot here and cummer passes up an open shot over to dyer in the corner dire to cummer again and here goes sparks has an open shot passes it up for the cut but walters does not handle the ball properly and loses it the charger yeah it was a good look the chargers now have a chance to get back into this game here they're only down 4-0 with uh two minutes into this first quarter but they really haven't shown any signs of getting anywhere close to the basket yet the closest thing they've had so far was a bounce pass down to messer that of course went out of bounds and there's a steal by sparks a little
010bit of a careless pass sparks and it's in layup there's two points for sparks that matchup was just not fair no it was not really don't have anyone to shut him down do they and there's another steal by the chargers getting careless and boom shakalaka two minutes and 30 seconds into this matchup i told you they ain't going to be able to stop my thing i mean we've come out to a hot start you just yammed one down on them what is that they have two turnovers and two minutes and 30 seconds into the game sparks has all our eight points and i think you called it 25 that might be a little bit of a little bit of a lower understatement yeah understatement we'll see i think he can probably get more than that
011if he keeps doing what he's doing [Laughter] and the chargers just getting a little careless with their passes here uh just and here goes the pirates putting some pressure on the chargers looking to just improve their lead even more little kids kind of got some handles yeah mucker height he does chargers down low with the ball that's messer who has it messer dishes out to his brother connor messer uh and now mucker high just back with the ball at the top of the key there's another ball batted down by sparks and he's going to go into transition gets the easy laying with the right hand for sparks already 10 points for the pirates 10 points for sparks what a night here we go the chargers looking to get something going as they haven't gotten anything
012so far i think sparks has three steals already yeah he does and he's got one foul on him and ten points not much else you can ask for there and that'll be a foul on walters uh apparently got too far into him there and mucker hyde gets the ball inbounded to him looking for the open man and there's an offensive on messer [Applause] just kind of butted up against stanley a little too hard there maybe swung his arm a little bit and they decided to call an offensive second save into the game for the chargers xavier adams checks in for the chargers one of their taller players sparks looking to share the wealth a little bit here passing it around into stanley there's an easy two for stanley and the pirates ball movement has been
013key so far i know we've gotten three fast or six fast break points but our other points have all been off the off the ball movement here we go chargers still looking for something i'm sure they're going to take anything they can get at this point as they're trailing 12th with already four minutes into this game uh they haven't been there there's a three-pointer by shorty oh nope come on bring the ball off the court yep dishes it to sparks sparks back out to come come for the three-pointer and it's in cummer from downtown 15-0 pirates that was almost volleyball that was that was a pull-up right there if i've ever seen one is that 15-0 three minutes and 30 seconds to go in the first and you have to be proud with the way
014the pirates are playing right now if you're their coach they've come out to a hot start and stanley jumps the gun and i think well's on walters yeah well appears walters got into him too much when he was trying to go up with it and we'll see if the chargers can put themselves on the board here if i was on brendan yep the line for the chargers yeah we'll see if the chargers can get themselves on the board here uh you get two free shots at this so i mean you would hope at least one of them can go in and there's there's the chargers on the board with one point fifteen to one pirates and adams will hope to make this next free throw to cut the chargers uh deficit down to 13. as
015he bricks it off the back of the board and kai dyer grabs the rebound for the pirates there's an oh cummer takes an open look off knobby's hands and into uh reed messer's hands sparks tips the ball walters has it here we go ball to comer and there's a blocking foul by the chargers number 27 or 21 excuse me that's teal key for the chargers with the foul ball inbounded to walters on the right side corner ball pushed down to stanley walters is there for the rebound but knocks the ball out of bounds fires are getting a little sloppy here [Applause] teoki has the ball for the chargers back to knobby chargers just looking for an open shot here and messer takes a three-pointer and that's up and in 15-4 pirates with two minutes and
01640 seconds left in this quarter pirates swinging the ball around stanley open for the cut down low gets the two points for the pirates says from sparks assisted by sparks there and sparks has just been finding that open lane all day that was a good backdoor by stanley it was he made a good cut just got himself wide open i think addison barnes pettit's coming to the game now yeah it appears he's getting ready to check in and there's an illegal moving screen by the chargers number eleven and pettit will check in for the pirates and i believe stanley has two fouls so that's probably why he's coming out a freshman for the pirates baldish down low sparks tries to stay strong with it and they call a foul [Applause] sparks appeared to be doing
017nothing but going for the ball there and they had to bail him out and call foul here we go we'll come into the game for greensburg as the pirates now have two players in foul trouble stanley and sparks um and now the chargers will probably look to get something moving here with the lineup not not suited for the pirates here a lot of ball movement going on by the chargers right now not much action going on but just swinging the ball around looking for something here and there's a ball tipped out by walters he did good seeing that pass coming in and just knocked it out of bounds he did what he had to do with it yep little confusion there as to who's taking it out i believe and just throws it over and
018if pettit would have been aware he could have snagged that chargers not not really caring about how much time's on the clock they're just looking for some points here all right stringer guards teal key but teoki finds a way around him that's a good move by toking great ball movement by the pirates here [Music] another three for calmer man he's just an excellent shooter from outside 20 to six pirates with 40 seconds left in the first quarter stringer slits a little bit getting out to tealkey and tealkey off target with that three-pointer and here comes stanley inn for the pirates and knobby in for the chargers stanley back in the game good to see him out here uh hopefully he can't or doesn't pick up any more fouls about 30 seconds so i think cummer's
019just going to stay here at the top of the key yeah i'm hired to look for this last shot here the ball gets swung over to dyer now you're just looking for probably something down low here if the pirates can find an open cut i'm sure their coach wants them to get just a nice open two-pointer as cummer gets fouled there goes up strong with it they just can't stay off-comer you have to guard him tightly or else he's just gonna shoot it in your face so after these free throws they have seven seconds so i think what they're gonna do is push everybody back so that we can stop them from having a fast break or something yeah i would agree there uh casey misses his free throw pirates just need to stop the
020chargers here and cummer's gonna sink these free throws i bet he's already got one in here we go here comes the second free throw attempt for cummer hit the first one and that just rattles around the basket uh 21-6 pirates lead three seconds yep he that was a good drive of a mucker hide that was he just uses his speed to his advantage there just got right in there [Music] and if you're the pirates you just gotta make sure you stop the chargers push here if they have one um a big thing for them to do is just play as tight a defense as possible here and the pirates just need to keep pushing their lead up hopefully we can keep sparks and stanley in the game who are both in foul trouble i i
021bet we can if we just kind of slack off a little bit and don't have as much intensity here but once again i really feel like the pirates can push away with this lead here it's 21-8 the pirates lead by 13. and we're getting ready to get back into action here [Laughter] and there's the buzzer for the second quarter to begin it'll be charger basketball to begin the second quarter chargers basketball they will start with it here in the second quarter as they just put up a little lay up there that got him two points looks like connor linkmeyer is in for a north decatur yeah and muckerheight is pressured full court by cummer right now comer obviously looking for the steal here pirates up in adam right now guarding the chargers as tightly as
022possible not letting them get an inch of space or a shot and there's parmer with the ball now mucker height has it mucker hyde there's a tip by dyer and stringer picks up the ball stringer to comer cummer dishes it to pet it pet it to cummer once again and here we go the ball swung over to the other wing to dire they're just going around the so they can find an opening pirate's just looking for the open cut open shot opened something here as they were very skilled in moving the ball around it's one of their strong suits gets it down to the post pedic goes up and there's two points for the pirates you know for such a young player that was such a great move using his body and all to get
023in there for the two points he's just such a big boy he is he's being refreshed got some height to him and i'm sure he'll put on a ton of ton of weight here as he gets older let's see six four and a freshman there's a lot of room for improvement there uh as navi spins and gets the two points for the chargers here dyer goes in gets it stuffed and the chargers now have the ball chargers swinging around hoping to get another two or three points here and there's a floater by palmer but it goes over the rim dire in transition for the pirates pet it outside skip past the stringer long pass stringer and there's an oh three pointer just off target for uh cummer there can't blame him for taking that shot
024as he was two for two prior knobby for three and it's up in it north decatur brought it back in a 10-point game and here comes sparks and walters back in for the pirates you know the pirates they just need to stop uh stop the shot uh that's basically their biggest problem right now is the charger shooting from outside and here we go back to the action parts pirates are up 23 to 13 with five minutes and 45 seconds left in this half it's like cummer's gonna take the ball out and here we go back underway comer into sparks spark's fresh in this game uh he's been sitting for a little bit as he got into foul trouble if you're just tuning in and there goes yes there goes walters with the two points beautiful
025assist by stanley just right into the pocket of walters there as much loses the ball and here comes sparks and boom goes the dynamite another dunk from sparks that's two for this game with them [Music] here we go chargers with the ball looking to get something going once again as the pirates have raised their lead to 14 points and the ball is off palmer and the pirates will take control of this of this possession here back in for north decatur here comes reed messer back in for north decatur comer to stringer up up top here stringer back to cummer and the pirates just looking for another basket here to stretch their lead um it appears they might find an open slot here and sparks just pops out for the open three but it's off mark
026just off the back side of the rim there that would have raised the pirates lead to about 17 points but they missed it knobby drives in walter's straight up and thousand thousand 34 walters be his second team fifth knobby a chance for two points here first one up and down for great walter or dyer turns returns for the pirates and messer returns for the chargers second free throw on target for knobby pirates up 12 here 27 to 15. dyer goes up off the backboard and then 29 15 pirates just over four minutes left in this half conor mcgregor jumps the gun for that ball and messer goes up and in for the two points sparks up oh commerce finals and here's an open three for sparks that's just a beauty right there that's up and
027then and here comes the full timeout by the chargers it's wide open through you can't leave them open like that can't beat that can't leave sparks open like that either and the pirates just hitting shots left and right here but the chargers keep trying to sneak back into this game um i mean the pirates just need to stay strong on defense they've had way too many defensive breakdowns so let the chargers get into the paint and let them go up and in with the basket um one thing we can do to prevent that is having better help defense of course it hasn't all been all there tonight and i'm sure we can fix that and turn that around here just a couple of simple simple things to fix and the pirates should be well off
028with this one here comes the buzzer and the game should be underway here anytime yep here we go back to the action mucker hyde brings the ball up court and here comes the trap by the pirates trying to pressure the chargers but there's an open lane for the chargers it's too easy gotta foul foul message fans ain't happy about that one team it's going 1-1 pirates on the bonus now and here we go comer will look to sync both of these free throws jellyfish and the first one is off target for cummer that's unlike him mucker hyde up the court for the chargers pass it to link meyer link meyer back to palmer and parma goes down knobby dyer straight up trying not to let him get it in but he finds the open basket
029here we go corner three open for stringer but he passes it up stranger doesn't take it sparks down to comer comer to dire dire to spark sparks with a two foot jump shot and it goes in what a jump shot by sparks as he's really showing out tonight chargers looking to cut down their deficit even more here as it was just down to 11 points pirates hoping to stay strong in this one and keep their lead up though and there's a back cut by mucker height up and in for two points man the pirates just need to figure out their defense here tonight it's not as strong as it should be stringer takes the open three just off mark pirates hoping to not let the chargers into the single digits here muckerheid takes a shot
030with his foot on the line and adams gets the rebound and there's the travel by adams tough scene for the chargers there as they could have had an easy two points or even three sparks up court with the ball cuts down looking for the open shot and that just golf mark gets his own rebound just off mark once again [Applause] dang that stinks for the pirates there they could add two more points and raise their lead to 13 points chargers hoping to get something moving here uh they're only up to 23 points so far but i'm sure they can get more than that knobby just off target with his three-pointer that was a little to the left stanley with the ball for the pirates sparks with the ball goes to the jump shot off mark
031and sparks does not appear happy with his jump shot there uh it's just something you can't control sometimes just get her next on 50 seconds until half time yeah just just over 50 well now under 50 seconds and the charger swinging the ball to get it over to knobby for the three-pointer and he syncs it that cuts the chargers deficit down to eight points here we go sparks just holding out trying to waste some time here no pressure by the chargers yet we're down to 10 seconds left here in this half sparks crosses over goes and dries in hard gets the two points for the pirates cummer with the steal goes back up just off mark stanley no foul where's the foul halftime scorer greensboro 36 north decatur 26. where's the foul [Music] so [Music]
032so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] and we're back [Music] we're about to just start the second half of this matchup between the chargers and the pirates the pirates have really come out strong in this one and the chargers have slowly been finding their way back into this ball game they cut it down to a 10-point game it is right now pirates had a good good two points right before break and then cummer had to steal but couldn't finish in the basket um and here we go second half is underway pirates just looking for more ball movement here that's been the story of the night as the ball movement pirates have had excellent ball movement finding the open man fight there's once again another example of a good cut good
033finish by sparks right there two points by sparks 38 26 pirates boy i'll tell you that mucker hud he's got some handles on him doesn't he he's a quick little turd i don't know how tall he is i think they said five eight but i feel like he's definitely exaggerated yeah i feel like i'm taller than him and i'm five eight hang it's pretty quick though he is and of course he's had he's had his struggles he had a pretty bad uh tumor one time yeah and he he fought through it and he's out here playing tonight and really playing playing pretty well cumbers got swatted dire corner higher for three just off mark rick messer with the strong rebound for the chargers mucker hide to messer nestor to parmer ball tipped by sparks but
034finds its way to mucker hide there's a steal by sparks and boom there's the third dunk of the night steal by walters walters goes up with it finishes strong for two points [Applause] that was a good run right there little steal and two points for the pirates brings their lead up to 16. coach meyer must have gave him a good talk halftime must have i mean they've come out here real quick and strong told them to get herself straight just a minute 30 into this half pirates looking to increase their lead trying to keep the chargers at a minimum here trying to keep them out of this game as much as possible ball bound to mucker hide guarded by walters mugger hide the knobby knobby to farmer farmer crosses over does the spin move goes
035in for the basket just kind of haphazardly throws it up there no bucket walters gets the ball just back out to dire dire to sparks and boy there's one yeah another two points by sparks hopefully he can sink this uh this shot right here his third team first of the half adams checks in for north decatur lane in the line to attempt the three-point play that's conor messer's third foul sparks up and in for the shot and that puts the pirates up 45-26 knobby looking for the basket can't find it there's cummer with the rebound for the pirates dishes it down to dyer dire to sparks sparks quick hesitation gets fouled by messer and that's read messer [Music] that'll be his third team second both the brothers have three fouls both both the messers in
036trouble here as we're going along both have three fouls and that's two key players for the chargers taken out i just said that pirates looking for some ball movement here gets it down low to walters walters with the two points that puts the pirates up 47-26 there's a steal by walters but he knocks the ball out of bounds just barely here we go pirates trying to get a steal here long ball thrown adam's down to muckerheid muckerheid spins but doesn't have anything there pulls the ball back out chargers can't seem to find anything going here there's parmer for a three-pointer temp off the top of the backboard sparks low to walters walters finishes [Applause] strong and there's a steal for sparks up and in for two 51-26 the pirates take a quick 25 point lead
037[Music] pirates have their numbers down here we got here the blocking foul by stanley that was close [Applause] thousand 32 stanley to be his second team first and here we go navi will have a chance at two points for the chargers or i'm sorry yeah one point he made that bucket sparks with the ball bringing it up for the pirates and stanley was open down there at the bottom they didn't see that comer for an outside three and it goes in 54-29 pirates a demanding 25-point lead here walters with the steal up and down two points here we go chargers trying to handle the ball nicely [Music] mucker hyde with the ball dribbling around gets rejected by stanley sparks with the ball for the pirates dishes it over to dyer sparks down to stanley stanley
038is fouled down low [Applause] here we go three minutes and 30 seconds left in this third quarter stringer checks in for greensburg here pass it to pettit pet it down to stringer stringer goes up and in for the two points stringer on the board with two points yes sir stringer tips the ball pettit goes for the read chand almost gets the ball back in bounds for the pirates that broke his shin on the bleachers there ball tipped away by stringer good hands by him right there chargers will take the ball out of bounds once again [Music] and there's the steel by cummer cummer hopes to go up and there's the jam by [Applause] comer pirates up 60-29 that is a 31-point lead 3-11 left here in this third quarter stanley checks in it's just getting
039rough now it is the pirate's taking a demanding lead here and the pirates really just need to keep doing what they're doing i mean the amount of steals the amount of baskets they've had here in this just in this half alone it's been outstanding i believe uh we ended the quarter with 36 points and now we're up to 60. yeah the press is pretty solid yeah it is it's like walter's out for the pirates brought in pet it here we go chargers one down the ball pirates going for the press here putting some pressure on him hoping to keep the chargers at a minimum ball swung down low knobby goes in for two for two navi got the team cummer fighting for the ball and after about three a shot attempts in a row he
040gets the two points that bucker hide in the corner stolen by stringer oh and lane sparks hammers one down on parmer now sparks really just jumped up and slammed that down on parmer's face right there here we go some ball movement by the pirates here download it but the basket's picked off should have been smarter pass than that farmer for the deep three just a complete air ball there uh chargers try to knock the ball back in bounds but fail to do so [Music] here we go stacy meyer our coach just preaching the ball movement here they're going 45 left pass just off target by cummer into stanley stanley using his body to his advantage but pettit is there for the rebound right place right time for barnes pettit there he is not happy here
041we go pirates demanding lead 66-31 and there's the ball knocked away by stanley walters and of course the pirates are short-handed tonight as their jv team has been quarantined that's why we're only seeing a varsity match up tonight yeah but they've they've really proved to with their lack of players really show up and show out um i mean the pirates they've played everyone they have tonight uh the seven players that they have and everyone has been on the board i believe tonight just an excellent night for the pirates here here we go good ball movement there's walters for three just offline stanley with the rebound gets the ball knocked away [Music] parmer up top for three off the front of the rim cummer with the rebound ah just stole him sparks just barely misses the
042swat attempt there pirates up 66-33 with just under 30 seconds left in the third quarter pirates just wasting the time up here on the scoreboard 15 seconds to go see if we can make something work down to five just off target for the pirates they're going for the alley-oop charger ball with one second to go it's going to be interesting farmer nearly missed that shot that was pretty close there reed messer checks in for north decatur and the story the night tonight has definitely been the pirates offense swinging the ball very well left to right side to side up and down whatever they can do to get the open basket their three-pointers have been on they're they've been driving quite nicely tonight and just player of the night tonight i'd have to say would be
043elaine sparks as of right now he's just stolen the ball left and right gone in he's had three dunks on the night a couple of three-pointers or maybe only one but still just showing out tonight for sparks they're just having trouble stopping them they are indeed check reed messers back in for the chargers yup master backhand for the chargers here we go this fourth quarter quarter is now underway mucker hyde bringing the ball up for the chargers quick crossover and pass and the charger is hoping to come out strong here so that's the only thing you can hope for down 33 points in the last quarter ball loses reed messi loses control of the ball sparks to comer comer to dyer dyer dribbles in passes back out to walters walters back to dire dire to
044sparks and sparks drives and reverse layup [Music] this has just been a second half that has completely belonged to the pirates um not much has happened for the chargers in this half not much at all they started with 26 points and right now they're only at 33. they have been having some terrific ball movement though they've been having open looks they just can't sink what they need tonight a little bit of a mishap there by parmer up top looking for something there's a spin move by knobby an easy two points sparks back up court for the with the ball ball gets dished down the stainless stanley goes up and in for two points and the chargers being a lot more crisp with their passes tonight then they started as their passes have been picked off
045quite a bit tonight by the pirates [Music] and there's a foul picked up by reed messer that's his fourth that wouldn't that will be his his fourth team fourth ball inbound to the sparks pirates with the demanding 35 point lead 70-35 just looking to slow down the pace of this game a little bit and wherever there's a shot open they're gonna take it i'm assuming and there's the blocking foul by parmer sparks drove in for the two points and got it and now he has a shot at a three-point attempt here number 25 his first team fifth lane at the line to attempt the three-point play and sparks up and in with that basket 73-35 pirates there's a three-pointer taken by knobby rebounded by comma pirates looking for some more here they're bloodthirsty sparks up
046and in four-two five minutes left in this final quarter the story of the night has been the pirates all the way as they are up 40 points ball knocked away by cummer fast break cummer drives in gets stripped and fouled and i believe that'll be five for messer and he should be out of the game [Music] checks in for north korea cover at the line for the march here we go comer and an attempt to get two more points for the pirates first one is up and to ten comer second one up and in just under five minutes left here in this uh half in the final half of the game that is chargers swinging the ball moving it around quite nicely right now they can't get much open though as the pirates defense is
047proving to be one heck of a night here they're having one heck of a night ball getting swung around from player to player here mucker hyde to parmer karma with the ball now parmer over to tielke to uh mucker hide tilkee down low uses a bit of that shoulder but does not get the basket sparks all the way up to come around the corner swinging the ball around there's stanley yep and just off target sparks almost gets the rebound for the pirates [Music] and it appears stringer and pettit are about to check in for the pirates here once there's a break in the game step back by knobby and it's in we go pirates looking for more comer to sparks sparks 4-3 no just off target is good 77-40 and 258 left in the game
048[Music] here we go back to the action with about three minutes to left to go in the game [Music] should be a quick three minutes you would assume uh with the 37 point game it's never really quick no no not really dyer will be the one bringing the ball up for the pirates as sparks and cummer are both taking their well-deserved breaks pirates just releasing the ball right after it's touched their hands right now skip pass by walters back to dyer stanley to walters walters drives in spins goes up for the two and gets fouled thousand 25 palmer that'll be his second team seventh wolters at the line for greensboro and here we go walters first free-throw attempt it's up and in second attempt for walters up rattles around the rim and here we go
049the chargers and their last moments here two minutes left in the game just moving the ball around looking for something here uh it's been hard to come by for them tonight though until it's a nice cut by that's not something you want to see by the winning team this late in the game can't complain they've played their hearts out tonight [Music] first shot up no good 78-41 pirates lead pirates of course just trying to hold off a little bit right now they're just going to look for an open shot if they have it an open layup i doubt that we see it the pirates take an open three-pointer oh and there's an open three taken by dyer it's up and down that stretches the pirates lead to 40 points tonight don't foul there you go
050staying with the rebound dire off target walters with the rebound and it's going to be a jump ball yes a jump ball should remain pirates yes remains pirates possession here we go stringer will inbound the ball for the pirates dishes it back to the top of the key to dire pet it down low goes up with it up and in for pettitte got a minute left to go in the game game winding down here pirates have been the story of this one all day as stringer dies for the ball and there's a charge on the chargers [Applause] dyer sets his feet that's what you need to do [Music] [Applause] here we go clocks winding down chargers not giving up easily though down to 30 seconds pirates gonna hold off on anything it seems or no
051they're getting open basketball and if you get an open basket like that you've got to take it this late in the game down to five seconds here mucker hide rejected by dyer [Music] 0.6 seconds left pirates 85 chargers 41. and that is the ball game the pirates take the game 85-41 thank
