Jennings County School Corporation Public Hearing Capital Projects- 9/19/2024

001we'll call the meeting to order and this a public hearing for the 2025 school budget the 2025 Capital project Finance plan and the 2025 bus replacement plan so all right we'll start off with the budget quick summary of what the proposed budget is and it's the advertised amounts of the education fund at 36 million The Debt Service fund $ 4,816 621 the operations fund at 16, 500,000 and the rainy day fund at $500,000 for a total advertised budget of 57 million $816,000 moving on to the capital projects budget and the bus replacement capital projects budget is advertised at for potential to purchase a capital asset $510,000 the 2025 capital projects budget is $2,120 th000 2026 capital projects 5,487 th000 and the 2027 capital projects 8 million $45,000 any comments or input on the capital project budget hearing none I will move on to the best replacement plan the best replacement plan for 2025 is $292,900 any comment or input on the the bus replacement plan hearing none okay so again this was a public hearing on both the on all for 2025 the budget the capital um project the bus replacement plan hearing no input or comments and regarding those three proposed budgets we'll entertain a motion to adjourn this meeting I have a motion by Travis do I have a second second second by Pat any discussion all those in favor 7 be
