003the student allow to be self Pac so some could have finished very quickly some may have taken most thank you on then we have some recommendations under I guess we have none right now we need permission after school tutoring oh one I'm sorry oh I I skipped over after school it's a pretty exciting opportunity I want to share with you so I'm glad we came back to it um so uh like I said it's a it's a wonderful opportunity that we have um it's through a state enrichment grant called Indiana learns we're partnering with the boys and girls club to offer after school tutoring we have a site or we're going to have a site at every Elementary School we're targeting about 20 students um and then uh we're going to have a one to
004four teacher to student ratio to qualify students um have to be in third through e8th grade they have to score below proficiency on um either English language arts or math on iearn and then qualify as free and reduced so um our goal is to get about two hours a two-hour session two one hour sessions per week to help with uh bringing those reading and math scores up car anything that you wanted to add all we plan to start October 2nd um right now we have teachers at all the locations so we're still looking for some teachers to beginning October 2 that is our goal yes all set that's what we're trying I would mention that the staff are employed by boys and girls club for the tutoring time they're not actually employed by us but

009any questions on that okay um under relations asking for approval to accept a resolution um to accept the settlement from Al Trea group this is related to the previous settlement that we had with juel so asking for approval to accept that settlement motion by Mary second second second by Travis all in fav 5 and we have an inform too yes so an inform I just want to make the board aware that um schools in Indiana Across the Nation are joining a social media litigation um this is litigation against a joint U conglomerate of social media groups it's intended to address in 2023 the Surgeon General General released a public health advisory warning for children and using social media and some ill effects and so it is looking to address that as a group and see
010if there are things that we can get to support our kids who've had harmful effects this is the increase in discipline um bullying um low self-esteem behavioral disregulation things of that nature so if the board is interested in um pursuing that possible litigation it would be with the same company that we worked with with juwel and I could bring a resolution back for you to look at if you wanted to consider joining along with some other districts on that we want to have any further questions on that no cost to us of recover there is no cost is only if um there are damages awarded then there would be cost that's included within that we don't have anything everything gain anybody else so we so you will bring back a resolution for us in next
