a little bit more tack board to to give some teachers in their classrooms. Um and that project is wrapping up. Um we sat down last Tuesday with the budget. Um and we are definitely um ahead on that note. So that's great. We got some money coming back to us that we're able to do some other projects with. So we're excited with that. Uh with the middle school, the individual classroom HVAC units, um we have reviewed uh we have two different proposals for those. Uh we are reviewing those. We'll kind of make a selection of which unit we're going to choose uh for that. Uh we did have the bond process that went through. Uh we were an A+ rating for that. Um, and I actually I think it just before the meeting I saw that

the the bond uh is official now. Um, so we'll get that paperwork going, but we're right on target with that. So everything's going well. All right, thank you for the update. Uh, F, donations. I just like to say, you know, our FFA students, they do a really nice job of going out into the community and getting uh donations. Um I hear a lot of great things that are coming out of there. They have some good goals that they're working on this year. 007Yeah. So Jag's been in the high school for uh many years now. You know there that's the Northwest Indiana Workforce Board. They're the ones that oversee that. Um there was a lot of questioning about their funding this year, but they are funded for us. they will be here full-time with us. We have about 50 kids or so uh that are enrolled in the Jag class. Um and then they're also sponsoring their fundraiser which we approved the beginning of school year, the haunted trails which is coming back this year. They're they're the ones that are sponsoring that and that is on the 25th. So we're excited for that. >> Thank you. Uh all in favor? I board meeting dates for 2026. You know, they're the second one in February that is President's Day, you know, so typically we we don't meet that one. Um but it is the first and third Monday of each month. Um, and the one hiccup you have is September with Labor Day like we had this year where we had to push it to the second Monday, but everything else is uh status quo with the first and third Mondays. >> Any questions? >> All right. All in favor? >> Post. >> Uh, nine. There's no public comments and items not on the agenda. So, we'll move right to comments and questions from the admins and the board. >> Dr. Brown, >>

I'm sorry. Great meeting. Aaron, >> um I just wanted to congratulate the um Noctiskian Brigade. They moved on to Semi State. So that was a a big accomplishment for them. They really worked hard. Um and I also just wanted to condolences to the friends and family of Cook. He was one of our wellbeing students here. >> Thank you. bottom. >> Okay, Wendy. >> Uh to say congratulations to the band and um one of the kids from cross country is moving on. Is that correct too? So um good luck to them next week. Next week so this week this week Saturday. >> Oh yeah. >> Yeah. I just want to say good luck to our our band and our athletes moving on. All of them moving on. And again, my condolences like Karen said to the

family. So that's it. >> You said it all well. >> And going back to, you know, Logan Cook on behalf of the nice community. You know, we we're definitely involved in that. He did know students here. He did know our our admin here, our teachers here. Um, you know, we're here to support any of our students or our staff these next couple days. you know, with that um situation. Um I have been in contact with Mr. Bennett over there. We did send a counselor over there today to support them. You know, I think uh Miss Nance is the one that went from the elementary. She was there for I want to say four or five hours today just to help the kids um and the staff, you know, with that. And we'll continue to help

support them um and any of our our kids here. Mr. and I, we've been in communication, he's been in communication with his staff, you know, so, um, you know, definitely our condolences go out to the family. Um, all of our, you know, we have a lot of great things going on here right now. Our extracurriculars, and you guys have have mentioned those, um, you know, along with the the football team start sectionals, uh, this Friday. Uh, that is away. It's at Gymtown. Um, and then the, um, if the bracket works right, we should have two home games, uh, the following two weeks. So, definitely looking forward to that. And then also last thing I have, you know, we talk a lot about community involvement, right? We want to get our schools, you know, involved. We

want the community to be involved with us. U we actually have, well, I guess you would say three community involvements, but four things that are going on u with Halloween here. Um 24th, um which is Friday, the middle school is doing a kind of a trunk or treat out in the parking lot. Um that is open to, you know, all of our students in our community to come for that. Um I think I want to say they have about 15 or 20 tables or so that'll be set up. I know that they have um like the coffee truck coming and I think K Ice different people like that there. So that'll be fun. I mentioned the haunted trails that's coming up that JAG is sponsoring. That's on the 25th. Uh we'll also have a table

at the park. The the town has their trick-or-treating uh at softball field. So we'll be there. That's on Sunday the 26th. Um and then the middle school has a dance after school on the 30 31st. Um, so you know, just a lot of great uh community push there with the Halloween coming up. That's all I have. All right. Thank you. >> All right. On Germany, I'm going to put Gary and Wendy's. All in favor? Thank you everybody.
