004in general it's kind of you know prevalent but uh thank you very much for all your years of service thank you for your service and happy retirement yes happy retirement thank you very much take the vote Mr Phillips hia hi Mr music hi can I vot out moving on to item number two under Personnel I'd recommend to the board this evening that they approve to pay the school board's NYSC Board of managers design or alternate $62 per meeting and if I could elaborate just a little bit on that we belong to a special education Cooperative which is called the northern Indiana special education cooperative and it's made up of seven school districts here in Northwest Indiana and each School Board of those seven districts send a representative to the nysac our special education Cooperative to

009more effective for professional development time things like that that we use that time for um to plan out some half days throughout the year there will be six of them and you'll see them highlighted on the calendar when when you get to take those home or have them on the website um so that's going to be kind of a a shift obviously we didn't have the early release Wednesdays this year because of all the struggles we were having at the beginning of the year um but in going through uh the administration and the uh teachers and everyone got together and decided that this was a better way to carve out that time and it actually comes out to less time than if we were having those early release Wednesdays um so it's more effective time
