001[Music] for [Music] a [Music] a [Music] hey everyone welcome back to the show Welcome to round two of the ihen postseason today our third seed cyber tiger team will play against the 11 seed which is Ben Davis University High School this is the second of three rounds uh before the state finals on April 27th and we have to win all of them in order to compete in the championship so winning tonight will pit us against Oregon Davis in the semifinal who last week defeated Southwood also last night our Varsity OverWatch team defeated Wabash High School to secure their spot at the state championship on April 27th at Ball State so congrats to them and also something different if you haven't seen postseason play before is that we are now competing in a best of three
002format so there are no ties as we've had during the regular season now this should Sur left in well as I feel like a lot of our strategy comes from picking players definitely instead of the having the El of surprise so we do have strategic mind and we do have good counter picks for whatever character may come our way absolutely absolutely all righty so as for the structure of the match we'll be doing a 4v4 crew battle so players from opposing teams will take turns fighting 1 V one matches with the winner of a match carrying their remaining stops which is our which is their lives to face the next member of the opposing team uh coaches must disclose with one another in private The Fighter for their first player on each team in every
003in every set so after a player has lost the game they will be eliminated from that Set uh after a player has won a game they must continue playing the same fighter until they lose within that set any stocks a player has lost must be relinquished at the beginning of the game so they have to kill themselves mhm uh they must do so by jumping off the edge of the map so once a team has no remaining players or stocks left on their team the opposing team is considered the winner let's hope that that's us in today's events I mean yeah yeah uh our starting map for tonight is town and city of course the loser the first match gets to counterpick the stage in the second match it's whatever they desire exactly so they
004could have a stage that uh represents their abilities in a great way I me you all right so I'm very excited to see and currently we are sitting in the match wing for our opponents to join the ingame room and they have not joined yet so we're going to be waiting for a little bit all righty as far as a counterpicking Maps I'm very comfortable with very simple flat I would have to pick uh Final Destination o I would not do that I like I like more the platform say so either Battlefield or small Battlefield or smashville I like them I don't like town and city as much cuz one the platforms move and becomes Final Destination in the middle of moving and second off the the stage is very spread out you got to

010they are in the match can we switch over to the battle screen all right so it appears it appears we've got a king DDD versus a Pikachu got Pikachu versus a king DDD that should be pretty awesome so there they are and it appears to be Eli that's going first now this Pikachu actually caused us a lot of problem you know firsthand I do yeah he took like six stalks last round so I'm really excited to see if his strategy has changed he's got the dash attacks and the Aerials both of which I recognize yeah busting out the neutral aay trying to keep this King DDD on his toe his toes so I don't know if King DDD was was necessarily the best option because he's very slow both on the ground and in the
011air and he doesn't have super armor to keep him on but he is oh gets a good hit in that's that's Eli style right there what he lacks in speed he makes up for in damage which is really good was really good he's also quite a random player he'll go for some of the weirdest cheeky shots for no reason oh he missed the Pikachu with his Gordo and the pq2 responds with a down air and a neutral special one of the most annoying moves of King DDD is he's able to shoot out what's called a gordo which is the spike ball that oh that down be struck him down wow oh he almost got the one of Pikachu's strongest attacks being lightning bolt it's been in every single smash game really yeah even all the
012way on Smash 64 that down be has been there oh yeah I remember using that one for Pikachu's for oh break the targets wow Eli gets the first KO on the Pikachu doing really well drive Eli all right dash attack shielding trying to be defensive here this Pikachu is very quick Eli needs to be aware of all of his surroundings at the moment the platforms are gone so Pikachu doesn't have as much room to work with oh he tries to hit him with the hammer a Dodge would you say King DDD really you know you know thrives in platform environments I would say yes I would say yes cuz you don't have as much room to dodge the uh side bees and stuff all his gordos so that's pretty much what I would say in
013terms of King DDD I don't name him but as from looking at Eli's gameplay um I feel like he would do better on a stage without platforms that being said he did just use the platform to give his Gordo a bit more momentum so I don't know maybe he's maybe King DDD is good at town and or or Eli is just good to altering his surroundings I think Eli is definitely good well encountering his surroundings and there we go he gets another KO so what you've probably noticed by the stage is that it's evening time now the thing about town and city that makes it special is the fact that the lighting changes depending on the time of day you play if we were to play earlier in the day it would be more of

017some work I I think I feel like Eli should do more grabs cuz a grab cannot be countered oh oh and and and a neutral be neutral special cannot be countered which is good you went right in you got to suck them in make sure you you suck in the palena so that it can't counter so it can't counter so they can't counter it's hard to counter when you're side when you're inside of King ddd's esophagus I don't know if you knew that but it's pretty hard it's pretty hard all right sending out a gordo to no avail and counter to more Avail than the that counter though oh that counter is going to be annoying but he does get the up smash good job good job Eli I see what you I'm picking up

065he got a whack wack has a chance to insta kill and an increases depending on your damage and your opponent's damage wait so if you if you have more damage yourself it has more of a chance to Yes actually I didn't know that uh oh a hatchet man but it missed that's just a very powerful slow move it doesn't have super armor despite how it looks it looks like it should it looks like bot's down be but it but it actually doesn't have super armor and it does more than Bas oh there's the snooze but he air Dodges in a lot of Jaden's um magic attacks can also be reflected so if the sty Kong knows how to reflect stuff maybe that'll help oh CRA did Kong reflect anything I don't think so and another
