001[Music] ah [Music] [Applause] [Music] o [Music] n [Music] up [Music] up [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah [Music] hello welcome to week nine of the ihen competitive season season today we have exciting matches between our Academy Cy Tigers who are going to be taking on Pike high school and then the main event you could say Varsity cyber Tigers going up against wob bash OverWatch competitions are best of five matches going through the following game types control escort push and hybrid all right I'll take the first uh explanation today's control map is ilos control is a game mode where two teams fight over a capture point in a best of three format while a team has control over a capture point the team will gain capture percentage until they reach 100% And the team that reaches 100% first
002will win the round and it's a first to two overtime will be triggered if one team has reached 99% and the point is currently being contested this game mode does not have a time limit unlike other game modes you want to take over the next one all right uh the next map is it's escort and the map is circuit Royal escort is a game mode in which the attacking team must escort a payload to a delivery point while defend while the defending team attempts to prevent them until the timer runs out each map has three checkpoints between the starting position the delivery point when when reached will increase the timer and move both team spawn locations overtime will be triggered if time runs out while the payload is being contested by the attacking team declare
003the start oh y you didn't read the script beforehand nope I mean I just came here it's okay for this particular uh round the Cyber Tigers will start on the attack next up is the push game mode on esperansa push is a game mode released on alongside OverWatch 2 in which two teams fight to escort a robot who pushes a barrier objective to the opposite side of the map each map has two checkpoints along with the objective path when a team escorts the robot past the first enemy checkpoint their spawn is moved up to forward spawn if neither team reaches both checkpoints the team that pushed their objective the furthest wins over time will trigger if the team with less progress has a possession of the robot when time expires we'll take on this one
004okay then if we have a tight match uh uh peraso will be the hybrid game mode which starts with the assault capture point and continues with an escort objective once attacking once the attacking team captures the initial Point both teams will spawn locations are moved to the payload then unlocked and players must escort the payload through two checkpoints to win overtime will be triggered if time runs out while the payload or capture points being contested by the attacking team uh would you like to read the sponsors now we got one more statement for the final match in the event of a two on two tie the for the winner deciding match will go to Oasis all right I believe the first match is underway yeah here we go we got yeah spectating Eli here the

012go but this is a a best of three our cyber tigers are on track for a victory but I want to ask you something whenever you mentioned earli that you were a former support man who did you uh play when you played support I was an Anna guy you played Anna yeah that's actually who I wanted to play whenever I first started because I thought healer sniper just sounded like it just sounded cool yeah back when I was new to the game when I was playing on Nintendo switch you can imagine how good I was uh yeah the motivation for becoming an Ana player was because my good friend Eli wanted Nano boost that is the motivation it's valid too yeah all right here we go second match starting up we're excited to see how

024about I guess like what's I guess their team comp um you guys haven't seen it but uh thy has been the Anna who has been supporting kills from behind um especially with the it's not deadly in its own sense but it's deadly when paired with something like uh Genji's Dragon Blade to uh just completely power it up it can go from like a 7 out of 10 Al to a like 11 out of 10 with just one Nano yeah if it weren't for people like tesley this team would not be able to prosper without those kind of heals and just damage boost with nanoblade especially she's uh only been playing Anna so far but she does play mercy and she's also a surprisingly good battle Mercy yeah any everything Tess brings to the table such
025a valuable asset what you mean with a game like OverWatch like you can get rid of just one person and an entire team will just crumble yeah that's why people Target the supports that's the found found of the team you get nowhere without heels yeah but with the new update like everyone's getting passive heals so yeah pretty much makes the tank and DPS the most valuable the supports are just there for I guess extra healing in the next update yeah we're going to see how that will affect the Cyber Tigers yeah but we've also been shown to adapt to new patches whenever they do come out mhm still waiting in the matchup area let's occupy a little bit more time can we switch over to that oh never mind match starting I was about to
026say switch over to the room view for people who might have just recently joined but the match is beginning you know a fun fact about uh like how like they have their game mode would like to know fun fact if so you as you know you can only have one tank uh two DPS and two healers and um in a game mode like this if you uh switch on attack you cannot you it's like you locking attack on a normal game meaning like let's just say somethingone like this uh their starter was a tank like whenever like do spawn and if she accidentally pressed a tank she would have to be tanked for that round and she cannot switch which can it's never happened before obviously but if it does happen it would be funny
027and very tragic it would be very interesting I've never heard of that one all right let's look at the team comps we got Tess back with her classic Anna gameplay we got Jacob with the junkrat we got Aiden with here we got Aiden with the Genji Eli who is that oh here comes Eli with the wrecking Wrecking Ball the wrecking ball is coming out it Eli's wrecking ball is without a doubt the best I've ever seen it's so valuable especially in a game mode like this if you're trying to stall Eli can provide the Stalls that you need for pretty much anything and he he's just he knows balls kits he knows it just so well yeah the first thing he did bowl over like half their team that was crazy forisa the orisa though
028orisa get the orisa which is a pretty big counter to a tank like ball pretty big counter to almost all tanks definitely a top tier tank in this meta yeah she's always been good even in OverWatch one before her rework yeah let's see if the orisa can Hoist the flag takes off the far which is so it's just such a great kill mhm oh going for the mercy if he could get the mercy that would be huge there go already um Eli stalling out the opposing team got picking off the mercy wit amazing and he then he gets the Anor that is both supports down if you could get the junk with the junkrat two very good looking to finish off the orisa here can do it she's out of utility never mind he has
029to he has to back off off which smartest decision if that was me I probably would have just tried to go for the kill yeah and as you can see we are about at that first checkpoint there is having his Al which can be very valuable in a game mode like this yeah Eli's wrecking ball doing what it does best oh oh placing on the mines here we go orisa eating most of those up which is the smartest thing any like a tank like this can do run through and either just tank or use your utility to just uh get rid of it yeah very good play from he gets the mercy just barely good stuff all right we got about half of the team staying near the objective we got Aiden pushing in killing
030off the B as I said earlier that dynamic duo the dynamic duo come on will he will Aiden be able to pick up this far or will that be Eli Eli gets nope Aiden looking to take out their spawn do what he did in one of the last games putting off the deflect just to protect himself will he will we see a dragon blade yeah he's got it oh almost almost gets taken out by total Mayhem if you don't know junkrat has an ability that when he dies he just drops a bunch of grenades which it's very funny when you get a kill like that it's very funny I love it whenever I get a kill with I almost got a team kill with it one time that was my play of the game just

032yes speaking of undefeated The Varsity yeah who has all in all throughout uh The Fall season and currently the spring split has been undefeated in every game with I'm pretty sure three 0 yeah huge title contenders for state championship which we're going for I guess another win which why wouldn't we yeah here we go setting up the game it's looking like we got everyone in the lobby it's just a matter of waiting I kind of want to talk about the varsity with I I've seen them play um they they play so well it's like if one of them like let's just say for example Leon was playing Genji and let's say uh Lily was playing Anna by time like the minute Aiden not Aiden the minute Leon would uh like be set up for a
033nade and like gets it like Lily already knows it's they're just on a whole another level of communication and I guess just skill yeah yeah I have not seen much gameplay from The Varsity I am looking forward to it I do know some stuff about a couple of these players specifically people like Caleb and Noah just jacks of all trades like I believe Caleb being very decorated in OverWatch and Tetris Noah very decorated in Smash Bros and OverWatch uh I'm pretty sure like from what I've seen uh in I guess the early um the early games of the um fall season it was mostly Lan tank Noah and Mack as um damage and then Lily and Caleb on support but it seems that they're kind of completely they're changing Leighton and uh Max roles which
034they still work very well together they can both play tank or damage if need be yeah all right here we go cyber Tigers versus W bash they have o malga which is such a he's too good yeah he's been really good pick up the kill oh there comes thege almost gets hit with the malga charge into the hole which which would have been very bad yeah there was that dying Caleb playing Lucio which is a very good uh heal on this map with just being able to throw into the hole Noah playing Bastion his main Noah with the Bastion gameplay Bastion so he sticks can you get the kill yeah Bastion basically a tank with a Gatling gun on it you can just tell from that description how crazy Bastion is all right we take
035the first point ooh luckily hitting that uh sticky Grenade on the floor which was able to Nick I think Malo getting the hch on the Lucio midair very impressive very we got Mac with the sigma oh getting not being able the go eating all the bullets from malga which will give him so much Shield yeah big boy shield with that absorption oh the Moira Al coal Essence can be very deadly in a time like this whenever people are low and especially if they have a shield tank which it'll just go through Shield Here Comes Noah with the Gatling gun oh here comes Mac Oh Mac having uh flux which can be very lethal with um a player like Noah whose aim is very good yeah that sort of combo it can just shred through a
036team oh and if know what times his Al right as soon as they get slammed down and they can't block he can use his Al and just nuke the field yeah Wabash pushing our cyber Tigers back to take the point no get the kill on Reaper he switches his Target to malga Rocket jumping up to the point bounces up and we switch over to Mac back to Lane with the nanoblade just killing just going on an absolute Rampage it's just too good of an Al combo that was about half their team gone in that fight we're going to take the point back looking to close out the first round killing the Moira can he get the reap Reaper o he barely phases out I think Leon will probably just go for the reaper because as
