001[Music] up [Music] a [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Music] he [Music] a [Music] ah [Music] [Applause] [Music] he [Music] good afternoon and welcome to week five of the ihn com competitive season today we have an exciting match against Union City High School and our very own Academy cyber Tigers team uh recently we had an event this past Saturday where 72 members of the community um in surrounding area came to compete in our Super Smash tournament and today we are looking forward to a best of five matches going through the following game types control escort push and hybrid yeah looks like uh the jvr has already started the game so let's go ahead and hop in that see they're playing Reaper one of the ogs I used to main so this control map is Antarctic Peninsula so
002um the variant of the map they're on right now they're going to really want to focus on taking that top like uh little barrier there that little Bridge okay they one fight so far get a pick on theana so could be a problem later if they get The High Ground ball running away from the heels you got to get to them okay it looks like they're all regroup back ball going to try and go for a dive does have Al so he don't know if he want might die he's anti he finds his way out okay they use their alt he finds one they're about to have visor soon here he pops his visor finds one ram alss o just very low HP gets to Lucio hopefully they do start to try and contest that
003bridge here soon because they're really going to need that later especially with their s with their Soldier but it does seem like neither team is really going for it so it might just be a free space thing they might not realize Reaper going for a flank maybe no I think he's just there to support the ball ball just messing up their backline yeah jv's main Strat is to camp at spawn he finds theana good finish rolling in gets the Finish double kill might get the triple for this Lucio but Lucio is kind of hard to kill with ball though he finds three the triple kill from Eli and he does have his alt it looks like Eli and Kinder have their alts did some chip damage on the McCree there yeah he just doesn't want
004to approach at all yeah uh Jacob does has his Blossom now and Blossom is really just like probably one of the scariest alts if you don't have the right counter for it because it can kill the whole team in like three seconds yeah but the ball went wild just getting two kills finds a third on Lucio ball and Reaper almost go hand in hand so Eli and Jacob here are are most likely just constantly communicating to each other and that's the first round of the first map 100 to 30% is what that was yeah 37 to be exact but really keep count we're going to see here in a second what the next variant of the map is so basically control has three different variants of the map um and they're randomized so it any
005point they could go in and get into any one so whatever was working on that last one it might not work here so we're going to see if they're they're going to eventually switch it up or if they're just going to keep doing the same thing for this one so far it looks like they have the same besides switching the support to aan it seems like they went to Genji reaper now the only really problem with this comp is that really if you look at the supports that we have here if we look at um Tess um they're on Anna and basically their whole team is just going to be pushed up and Diving like already you can see now she's just so far behind so they're just gonna have to really really careful that
006she doesn't get Dove on ball pushing up looking for a finish it looks like they do probably have better all charge than the other team right now and they do have control of the point R probably going to die and they find the finish and that's three kills all within basically the same moment Reaper flinks the Bastion it's got to be a little nice they do find the team kill so that's pretty now what they want to do here is they want to position their Anna almost like way farther back cuz Anna needs to be basically just in the position to heal and output damage without the like risk of her getting dived for the Folks at home what is diving so um diving is basically if we look at uh Eli now that's basically
007just jumping in on the enemy team uh and it's usually going to be on one specific person a good dive would usually consist of for example we've been seeing Reaper and ball usually they would go in together and if you jump the same per uh person like you normally just call out and you would try to get the finish on him yeah just like he's doing with that triple kill right there and Anna is really good for uh for d cuz she can always toss in um what's called a a anti which basically stops the other team from healing whatever person it landed on and basically when that H happens and you're being jumped on by a ball Genji or Reaper which they all have you're basically just done unless they have cleanse which is
008um the ability of a character they currently don't have which removes the effect of the antie it is kind of interesting to see uh Eli play into this Anna though because if he gets slept and anti with that Bastion he has a very good chance that he dies yeah but he does find finds one with his all he gets to he's gonna finish this Lucio all I have to worry about is Thea does get speared but it's not too big of a worry theoretically um uh Union City's uh comp should be countering them they have the Anna they have the Arisa for the ball but it just seems like they can't get the right finish on it and I think that they're going to exploit that Jacob going for his death Blossom finds one but
009gets hit by the javelin the problem with Reaper in these current seasons is that there's too many car characters that have stun and it makes it really really hard to get a good death Blossom off because you have to wait for all of those cool Downs to go down orisa might have her all here she might look for it might get finished by Jacob though oh and shoes her e to stop it so close Gavin still alive he's going to have to get out they do have blade and Nano so hopefully they're going to get a nanoblade here all they have to do really is win this one fight so the reason they might not be changing the comp even though they're being countered is because they're going to have this nanoblade and nanoblade um
010basically when he pulls his blade out it only takes one slash and one dash to kill yep just like that here we might see one one finish finds two doesn't find the third but he do double kill with the blade and Eli going in to finish the Nano sojourn and that's going to be the end of map one yeah that was an amazing play there's no way I could ever repeat that so it did really look like that that Union City did have the right counters so I don't I don't think that it's like like a game sense thing I just think that they just played around the counter perfectly which is really hard to do here we have Eli a huge anti leads to him getting those two just what do you do when

013and there's three checkpoints on the way they go up find one go up find two go up find three and then after that they're going to flip sides and just basically do the opposite roles from what the other person was doing and it's just going to come down to whoever gets gets the most checkpoints or makes it to the end yeah and it does look like a slightly switching their tank but that's about it I guess there's support too so it seems like we don't really see this from Jacob often he's on sojourn um on defense of H Havana we have double hit scan which is just bash and sojourn which can be really really good for spam but the thing they have to be cautious for is they have two main DPS for those
014that don't know main DPS are mostly characters that have hit scan for example you would have Ash Soldier Widow and then your Flex characters would be people that almost play off of like their projectiles for example that would be like Eko Genji so they're really just going to have to be really careful that they don't get overrun because this comp here looks like it's a very stable set thing so they're going to just have to hope that they can almost out pressure the speed if they enter with it but then again the enemy team could just enter with a similar comp and we're basically just going to see a poke battle Yeah just chipping damage back and forth you're doing a better job than what I could explain it so it's just knowing what words
015to say cuz like you can get get what's H happening but not have the right like terms to put it in yeah OverWatch isn't really my game I go my two go game yeah it's mainly uh Super Smash Bros or I guess Rainbow Six all I respect it so if you look at the enemy team's lineup they had a Moira torbjorn zarya so with the zarya it can be good against this poke but she recently got nerfed so her her bubble which is her main uh ability it basically eats the damage that the enemy puts out and it gives her charge and gives her more damage so she usually is a really good pick when people are spamming or like poking but since she's been nerfed it might not be the best pick for Union
016City Eli might die but he gets his shield up seems like they're going for the Finish they might not find it they they have the oh he gets the rock finish on Anna yeah good thing they have the Anna in the back right now cuz I'm pretty sure that's exactly what he heal that void yeah test being back there is massive but looks like they're going to have to drop down to get some heals off um the Widow could be a problem it's all going to come down to whether the Widow's aim is good or not because um Jacob and Gavin they really can't do much against the Widowmaker which is why it's important to have uh Main and flex DPS but I just don't think they they can realize that right now but that
017could come into play later because if this Widow just like hits a hits a head shot they really don't have much to return pressure on her with especially with that Bastion oh Eli getting caught that's two and they used their grav might have been unnecessary but it did finish the fight fast yeah uh seems like Eli swapping back to the ball maybe hopefully going to try and overtake the backline El's ball is a menace on to society in general for all I care that is true so I did figure out a little uh I guess you call it a bug with Mora if you do the little phasing thing and you crouch and you jump you just Skyrocket yeah like a little super jump yeah I don't know if that was going for the Nano
018on Jacob is he using his Al yes he is using his rail gun doesn't find any that's unlucky um rail gun is is one of those alts where if you're Nano you can basically just body shot so I think what that just came down to was probably the bubble usage and just like the movement of the enemy team was probably why he didn't find any uh any finishes there yeah but it looks like Eli is going for the slam too Eli low he's about to have his e he gets it Bastion looks like he's going to die nice Eli's gonna have to do a 1 V3 and he doesn't quite get it but he does pop his Al so Jacob is back though he finds one he's going to have to try and one V2
019this 2v2 now all they have to do is get rid of the zarya and he gets killed so right now this is just a like a like a contes battle and contesting is just when people from both teams are on the cart so it doesn't move so our cyber Tigers just have to really focus on staying on this cart um CU there's something called a a C9 which basically just comes from um the Esports team Cloud9 there's a very Infamous clip where an OverWatch on a escort map like this um they left the payload uh un unattended and the enemy team got to cap it because there was nobody on it I remember this map now this map was awful when I played it yeah this week map lineups are not the best out of
020the map so there's a lot of exploitable things like this one here um really big exploit would be a sniper which is why I'm kind of surprised to not see them open up with any type of sniper like black widow or yeah like Widow Ash or Hanzo no Ash is a considered a sniper yeah I didn't know that I thought she was mainly like a DBS dealer okay so they take the first round here um I'm I'm almost thinking they're going to open up back with their original comp for a for attack where they're going to rush with Genji and Reaper it looks like Gavin is going to go back to Reaper instead of playing the Bastion going to go for that dive but it seems like Jacob is feeling the sojourn um I think
021the supports are doing a a phenomenal job I haven't really seen them get picked first it usually seems like the tank is getting picked first which is how it really should be when you're going into these fights if your supports are getting picked then you know that you have a a peel problem and peel for the people that don't know is if someone on your team is being pressured or just damaged or hurt and um you need someone else that is able to help you in relieve some of that pressure so let's say that that Tess on Anna was being jumped by a Genji the character that Gavin's playing um Eli is able to come back as ball and um basically just get rid of the threat for yeah but it looks like it there
022is a little mixture of in play instead of playing Ayan or Mora it is a mercy so mhm it almost seems like that they're combining the two different styles of of the comp and that really does take um both good things you have Jacob on on the flex and also Genji on the flex but in this scenario double Flex might not be the worst idea because you have sojourn using her rifle and a rail gun yeah it also looks like the opposing team has a sniper in the back that's what took down the G Gavin does jump the Widow though Gavin going to look for the Anu narrowly missing he just needs oh he's anti now the good thing about having a Genji and and a mercy is you're going to miss out on the
023potential for the nanoblades but it almost gets made up by if um you're Genji and you're just doing your thing in just your base form and you have that power boost or the heal it almost like I feel like it almost like doubles your your value as you can see Gavin finding two Jacob going to try and finish the sigma but Gavin gets three two dashes Jacob's going to go up and try to finish the Widowmaker Gavin gets four and they're coming up near the end game here so since the other team did not make it past that specific point um all they have to do is reach just I think it's 01 m in front of where the enemy team just went and it looks like they're just going to get it no they
024get the contest seems like they swapped to Brig which Genji counters very easily Gavin just seems to be mowing down the team and they get it that's map two two Z so out of all the characters non broken or broken or not who's your favorite um to play or just like just to play but not being like General I guess um I think I like I'll do it by by like rooll I think roadhog is the most fun tank even though he's not the best right now but he could be the best after he gets his rework um DPS I would have to say Genji just cuz I mean who doesn't want to be a ninja with a blade that goes around in shurikens and then 14-year-old dream yeah and then for support I would

027ever um they like get into like the game um both povs from both sides are going to look almost exactly the same if not a mirror so they're all going to push out and go to this bot and they have to push the bot all the way to the end and if they don't make it to the end it's just going to be based on whoever is closer to the to the end so if we look at the bar um our bar is going to be red that's one that we're pushing and the enemy bar is going to be blue that they're pushing oh it looks like they're on the road hog who I just said is my favorite tank that is a massive change of pace for the tank though going from uh from
028a mostly ball to a road hog they're almost Polar Opposites yeah but I can see it kind of working on push though MH want get him off the escort right so now actually this is the first time that we've seen this out of them they do have the main DPS and the flex DPS the main being Dominic on Bastion and the flex being Jacob um I'm I'm I'm interested to see how this is going to work out without Gavin's Genji because it seemed like that was providing a lot of value but Jacob going for the flank finds one he's going to need a heal but he doesn't get it Dominic still pushing it seems like he can kill this Bastion if possible yeah it also looks like they go back the ball too roog is
029not working out hog is hard to make work when they have an Anna oh Dominic finds one that was the Bastion M right there Dominic almost gets two an his one HP they're just going to have to reset here and a reset for those who don't know is um if your team is down which is when you're down players um you almost want to just come back and fully regroup big anti on ker seems like they're just waiting for their tank to show some present oh Eli swaps to Ry this could actually work I think it is smart to not play the ball here though oh he finds one with his fire strike cuz now Eli can play off of his Bastion and the rest of his team which he couldn't do with ball trying
030to get the finish on Bastion doesn't hit um if look at all charges Jacob's getting close to his alt uh Dominic is very close and ker has his so I'm thinking they are probably going to open up with the coalescence if they need that extra pressure to finish a fight right now just pushing the bot enemy team just let him take some space there a grard gets a shield so he can hopefully so a lot of damage from him Shield gone now that that bastion's up it seems like Union City really like playing these um poke comps where you just have those like big damage from up close and that poke damage from Far Jacob does get two though he might save this fight Mor Mora has alt too so it seems like Jacob just
031saved the fight getting that double kill kill there but he did use his real gun we have Co coalesence and elial's about to come come up this might be a bad play he might die Shield nearly save saving him and he's in Test's view oh and he gets finished so the only problem with this Reinhardt here is he's going to have to play really really cautious around these Corners because Bastion is just going to delete that whole Shield within seconds think we have a Bastion for owns yeah who does H have his alt too hopefully we're saving alts here and hopefully he just tries to get get out it looks like we have Nano and shatter and Kinder salt oh I just thought about that would be a deadly combo uh bastion's ability with Ryan
032Hart's Al oh yeah um I I actually did that with with Noah for a comp game you basically shatter down and your Bastion is going to um just put all of his air strikes on the people that fell but but it looks like they opted for the Nano shatter which is a is almost almost an old combo you don't see much of it now but it certainly get gets the job done if you catch him in the shatter yeah I would like to see more Bastion play about that though I I agree I'm a Bastion Fanboy so yeah I really do like this mixup of uh comp though it it really does show how having um having like like a character like Ryan and Bastion playing off of each other while while while Jacob on
033a sojourn can almost like do his own thing and have kind of free reign of of what he wants to kill seems like they use Nano Nano and so so for her real gun she finds two gets the finish on Jacob and that is a team wipe gone in seconds so now looks like they just want to reset a little bit yeah okay so right now we are in the lead 84 M to 20 um how this basically works is Whoever has the bot if they die while they're pushing it you're almost always going to meet right in the middle just like they are now it's almost like a back and forth teeter totter Jacob using his rail gun without anything else to support it doesn't get any value yet but but Dominic does find
034Dominic finds two might find three and he finds three big triple kill from Dominic it is nice though to see that they can put in someone else and have that person do just the same amount of support or DPS seen very very good play from basically everyone here well then again they have like a lot of basically months to practice with each other oh yeah cuz as I see it they're all really great friends they play in their own private time too oh Eli finds one with the charge he's going to get his shatter gonna get this Bastion nice um this should come down to one more main fight if they win this next fight then all they're really going to have to worry about is the contesting which we talked about earlier which is
035basically they're just going to funnel out from their spawn um we our team has shatter and we have coalescence that is something that can be com comboed too we do have two people coming back from Spawn though so we're going to have to be very very cautious already low on shield and we're out in the open he gets this could be bad for Eli going for the shatter finds four yeah it was no those three one of them escaped out of it kills two okay so they have won the main fight that we talked about now all they're going to H have to do is oh there was that sleep fashion combo no that was Dominic does find the finish this is going to be really really difficult to uh to close this round to
036this round out um Union City needs to get their ratra back to spawn and they have to get all five back because if the ratra dies then they're on the same level as we are and they can't let us have that Advantage B Dominic going for an all going to go for the backline shoots all three gets two hit markers oh this is going to look like they're going to just have to fall back ker still has his coalescence I don't think think I've seen him use it once I think he's waiting for them to be funneled into the smaller Alleyway so heal his t team and do damage to the opponent it is um it is something that you want to make sure though you you always want to be using oh he pops
037it col Ence they're playing to win the fight Jacob finds one with his rail gun that's big two Walts gone from us but it does win us to fight now we have all five people pushing up this and they're staggered now this should come down to how fast we can finish the people that are going to funnel in and with Bastion Wheels this should be easy G have to focus the ort but Dominic's going to need to heal oh he finds the good healing and they kill basically everyone and that should be the final person to touch and that's game that's it that was very one final map goes to us three Z very wonderful JV awesome the uh opposing school also played very well it was you're playing cuz often Union City did have

041Reaper just what was the thinking behind like the character Choice throughout the games well I I just like playing dive comps so I just like playing dve right um as one does was there any issues at at any point just like throughout where like where like Tess needed help and they weren't able to receive it because they were so far behind from the rest of the team I would say there were some spacing issues some yeah um I do think that Union City did have trouble finding that weakness though it seemed like they were they almost used like all of their cooldowns on you yeah and your ball was phenomenal by the way throughout the whole thing just like the mechanics of of all of it and also just playing like into I think it
