Leadership is about more than making decisions. It's about making a difference. For Larry Campbell, that has defined more than three decades of service to East [music] Knox local schools. When his district faced financial challenges, Larry worked handinhand with the community to pass levies that brought East Knox out of fiscal emergency and made possible the construction [music] of new elementary and junior senior high school buildings. His approach has always been grounded in collaboration, supporting superintendents, [music] administrators, and teachers to ensure that students have every opportunity to succeed. A master board member and longtime member of OSBA's central region executive committee, Larry's leadership has helped transform challenges into lasting progress. The all Ohio Schoolboard member [music] from the central region, Larry Campbell. >> [music] >> Some lessons last long after the classroom lights go out. For Sue

Lmer, a lifelong educator and board member of Parisburg Exempted Village Schools, those lessons have always been about curiosity, kindness, and connection. Inspired by her mother, also a teacher, Sue found her purpose in helping students see learning as a lifelong [music] adventure. She says, "Stop learning, start dying." a belief that has guided her both in the classroom and on the board. From earning the Spirit of Education award at Lawrence University to serving on OSBA's Northwest Region Executive Committee, Sue has carried that same passion into every chapter of her career. But of all of her accomplishments, the one she treasures most are her three children, the All Ohio School Board member from the Northwest region, Sue Lmer. >> [music] >> Education has always been central to Dr. Micah Covert's life. The son of a teacher and part

of a family devoted to service, he learned early [music] that education is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen a community. Today, as a board member for both Nelsonville York City Schools and the Tri County Career Center, Micah carries that belief into everything he [music] does, supporting responsible fiscal policies, improving facilities, and building respectful [music] partnerships with teachers and staff. His own journey from preschool at Nelsonville, York, to earning his doctorate 30 years later, is proof of the lifelong value of learning. Yet what brings him the most pride isn't his resume or awards, but the moment each [music] year when students walk across the stage at graduation, a reminder of why every board member serves. The all Ohio school board member from the southeast region, Dr. Micah Covert. [music] Following years of volunteering in

her hometown schools, Rachel Ray discovered that serving children wasn't just something she did, it was who she [music] is. As president of the Fateville Perry local school board, Rachel leads with the same energy and optimism she shared in classrooms, on the softball field, and through a decade of PTO service. Her leadership extends far beyond her district. From her role on OSBA's Southwest Region Executive [music] Committee to her work raising over $100,000 to build new ball fields for young athletes. [music] A kidney cancer survivor, lifelong learner, and proud mother, Rachel believes our kids deserve the best of us, and she proves [music] it every day. The All Ohio School Board member from the Southwest region, Rachel Ray. For Sally Green, public education has [music] always been more than a calling. It's been a lifeline. Learning lifted

her from poverty, inspiring a lifelong commitment to helping others find the same path to possibility. As vice president of the Tuscrowers Valley Local School Board and OSBA's 2024 president, Sally has spent more than 20 years championing highquality education and strong governance. She has visited more than 200 schools across Ohio, connecting with educators and students in all 88 counties and witnessing firsthand the power of [music] public education to change lives. Grateful for the mentors who have inspired her, Sally continues paying that gift forward, reminding every student they are special, loved, and capable of making a difference. The All Ohio School Board member from the Northeast region, [music] Sally Green.
