001time is 4 30 pm background information per the new indiana state law the lawrence township will hold a public hearing before the commencement of collective bargaining after a statement from the lawrence township administration and the lea teacher unions are read we will hear public comic comment notice a public hearing regarding items described in indiana code 20-29-6-1-a notice is hereby given that msd of lawrence township and the lawrence education association will conduct a public hearing on thursday september 8 at 4 30 pm local time in the lawrence education community center located at 6501 sunnyside road in indianapolis indiana to discuss the items described in indiana code 2029-6-1 a before engaging in formal collective bargaining at the public hearing the school employer representative and the lawrence education association representative will hear public testimony subject in accordance with any policy governing the public hearing name is justin brown i am the president of the lawrence education association and this evening i will review our speaking guidelines you must have signed up by 4 15 p.m when you come to the podium to speak please state your name and you will have three minutes to speak thank you therefore as we have reviewed our reasons for being here and the speaking guidelines and that there is no one to speak that concludes our public hearing thank you
