[Music] You pull [Music] over like I'm still working. This is like um yeah, we did a really intense road trip. Um but we drove to my family. Um and we made it almost two week. It was great. It was 30 hours. That's the distance you get along to get there. We went through West Virginia. It's really like 14 hours. We are unmuted and live. Right. to call school committee meeting to order at 5:08 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6th. Um, and there are two items uh written items for public comment um that you can review and other people can review since they're here on board docs. um and also posted on the town's website along with all the other documents. They're posted in both places. Um so we have minutes from our last meeting. Thank you
Sarah as always. Um does anyone have any corrections or additions? None. Rachel, you say yes. Okay. Um, I move to approve the minutes of March 4th. Second. Okay. Any discussion? No. Okay. All those in favor? Great. Thank you. All right. Uh warrant reports. Again, the warrant reports, I think we have six today. Um they're posted for people to view. Um so then I we have no gifts. Um chair's update. Um I have a couple pieces of information that I came back with. Um one is about the absenteeism conversation or the information we had last time. I just wanted to in summary say after talking with after having the presentation and talking with Mickey. My understanding is that in Pelum they allow students to arrive at 8:10. Um the students 8:00 8 o'clock. The other schools
are 8:10. The other elementary schools. Okay. Um when the doors close at 8:20, students are considered tardy. Present. Oh, after. Yes. After. Sorry. Once the doors close, they're considered tardy. Yes. Um, and the parents have to come in and sign them in. Um, so I just wanted to say that out loud because I don't think we got that quite detailed last time. Um, the another thing is that I got in touch with the chair of the Ammerst Housing Committee and got some information back from him today. So at 20 AS road which is the large building in front there are six apartments right now I believe five of them are occupied there are a total of six children three of whom are already enrolled at school choice in pelum they're six seven and nine there's
a oneyear-old and a 2-year-old also um and then 22 Ammerst road, which he said they'll start moving in in May, has 28 apartments. There are 22 one-bedroom apartments, four two-bedroom apartments, and two three-bedroom apartments. 22 onebedroom. Yeah, sorry. Four. Wait, I get this. Which did you do? 22 22 onebedroom. Okay. Uh four twobedroom and two threebedroom. So once he said it's been slow because they've been having a difficulty getting all of the documentation in place. So um I have two questions. the students that are already enrolled for next year that will mean they're not school choice students. Okay. Um and then the other thing that was coming up around absenteeism and tardiness, I don't know, now that you're here, maybe you can just answer. Um my question was how big of an issue is that?
It's not a big issue in town. There's a few students for whom poverty is an issue. Yeah. and a few students who had some attendance issues at the beginning of the year and last year and it's been gradually inc uh improving but I wouldn't say that it is a problem it was like after I have one quick question and I don't maybe Dr. this. So theoretically these students were choice in until a couple months ago or a month ago. Does the school does that cut our funding or if you're choice in and then you move, do you get the funding for the whole year? I think for the whole year we have to confirm. I was just curious if they're going to come back and say, "Oh, we need money from those two or three
kids." Um, I don't I'll confirm because they actually weren't our resident students until recently, right? And I don't think they they needed to update their information. I don't I found out about them through through um I I think that they they use the previous year's enrollment. Yeah, I think that's right. October responsible give us back some money. I was just curious. Yeah. Well, it's a reasonable question to ask and there's not yet information about the larger building, but there, you know, with a with the larger apartments, there's more potential. So, we'll see. And they've already held the lots for those, I assume. I I'm not sure. I think they have if they're gonna move in in May. I'm thinking probably in May probably they have in the bigger building they Yeah. You can't really see
it very well from the road. Um what's the other [Music] thing? I went to the community coffee hour again this weekend. I think it's a good place to be seen and have people ask questions and a couple people did so that was good. Um I think that's all I have. Um so any of the other committee members have okay give the yeah uh so we are continuing our negotiations with the APA uh union contracts. We have moved from IBB into traditional bargaining. We met not last week before to present or not present but exchange our um final list of proposals um and we meet again on tomorrow tomorrow. That's it. Right. Um, principles update. Okay. Um, I'm sorry for missing the last one. Um, tomorrow is walk, run, stroll, bike to school day. Um, which
is tricky. So, they're meeting up at a certain spot. There's eight people signed up right now. That's a little more than last year. So, um we worked with the Mass Dot uh to do some bike and pedestrian safety during PE classes. Um someone from Mass came and um the hope is eventually for the PE teacher to teach that as part of their curriculum. Um, I thought it went really well and the kids actually enjoyed it. It doesn't sound like something really exciting and you're missing PE, but they they enjoyed it. Um, so that's good. I you know I I I struggle with it a little because there's no sidewalks, but um so I'm like a huge like go do it. Um it's teacher appreciation week. Um there's little things each day from the PO, myself
and various parents and um even a teacher's daughter this morning. Uh we had spring fair on Saturday that was a success. Um no fire alarms were set off. That happened last year. Um good to see lots of kiddos out running around having fun. And also um in previous years there was some damage done to some of the after school stuff and everything went really well. So that's good. We had a uh the outdoor committee decided to do a end of April end of poetry month poetry event outside the first day we got back from break. We had a gorgeous day. Um, and the kids were given like poetry instructions, which is little to none, right? They've been learning about poetry for a month. So, I said, "You're to go out with a clipboard and a
piece of paper." Actually, she's been talking about all week. Yeah. Um, kids, spread out. I said, "I want you to use your senses. No rules. Just go out and I did this over the loudspeaker. write some poetry and we'll have a little thing event. And so we had a poetry slam on the stage out there. And I wasn't expecting a lot of kids. So many kids got up there and read their poems and we had teachers reading poems to inspire them. At the beginning, kids initially came up and said, "Will you read my poem?" Like, "Sure, I'll read your poem." And then they were like, "No, I'll read it." Um, it went really well and the poems were awesome. So, we didn't get that every month because we ran out of time and so I'm
gonna I learned from that don't have it right at the end of the day even though that was strategic too, but give it more time and we'll have another poetry slam at the end of the year because it was so good. It was really just amazing. like a kindergarten out there. Um I had a hard time reading his him, but um it was great. Uh we're about to be slammed with end of year events. Uh this year we decided I decided to have the Sunshine Committee really help with those events. um because it really is everyone's events and it's taken a lot of like the things that I missed off off of me. Um so that's that's exciting. We're going to have field day at Look Park. Um we're going to have activity day and
stuff up day where they go into their next classroom and meet their next year's teacher. And I forget where I learned this. Maybe in one of the I Ready or another PD that I just attended. Um I'm gonna try and have the teachers go to the younger grade and teach math for a an hour, half hour, and hopefully that will give them a glimpse of the learners they're going to have. And um yeah, so I'm excited about that. And then overall um this year we've kind of embraced productive struggle um and made that a priority. We were noticing that postco we were helping kids too much. Um we you know when we came back from co a lot of kids couldn't write because they didn't get those essential skills. They just were very out of
practice with a lot of things. We helped a lot and then we've been slowly, you know, backing up but really not fast enough. Um, so helping too much and some kids really have blossomed since we took that concerted effort to talk about productive struggle with the kids. Um, it's embedded in the math curriculum already. So that's fantastic. Um, and it's also comfort level with the teachers. Um, and knowing that when I walk in the room, I'm not expecting them to be helping someone. So, um, we've seen huge growth in especially the kiddos that we did it for. Um, which is awesome and hopefully we'll just continue to work on that next year because really what we want them to do it independently. Um, this is a nice way of saying do it yourself. And also
I think kids really have less experience with struggling with persevering in our world today. Um, so more outside more more struggle. Okay. Thank you. my turn. All right. So, good afternoon everyone. Um, it's going to be a little bit short. First of all, I do apologize that it wasn't the last meeting, but it's been it's been great coming back in. Um, couple things I just want to bring up. I know this Saturday is the town meeting. Um, I was able to attend um least last week on behalf of the region. this Saturday I'll be attending a town meeting just to hear both on the budget front both as superintendent of Helen but also as a superintendent of the region and so if need be I can ask answer any questions or provide support um in
terms of curricular shifts and trainings um the district team is going to be meeting next week to talk about a professional development calendar um we already have the approved calendar for the upcoming school year so now we're going to go into that calendar and identify ify um district dates versus school based dates so that we can have that at the end of this year as a sharing tool for example for Miki so she can adequately plan next year for when PEL has to host their own professional developments so we're working on that as a district team um in terms of leadership PD we're trying to identify funding to provide professional development to all of our instructional leaders including um Nikki here to support some of the leadership shifts and changes that she feels that she
may need. So this year I'm going to be doing a principal evaluations um as well as staff evaluations at the central office. Um we do have a training a virtual training what uh we're piloting this series of putting everything in the power school performance platform. who launched the platform and so we're going to start off with the leadership team and so there's training Thursday morning HR is going to do that for our leaders um so that they can see the platform understand how it how it works and then we'll go in and do a pilot a little switch this year going start with the rubric rubric and then from how we reflect on a rubric then have the leader go in and reflect create their goals for next year so it's going to be a
little reverse um there were some conversations that the um chair had asked me in our planning meeting. One of them was updating the committee email link to make sure the correct members are on the link. I did speak to um Jerry in is and what he says is that and I will share this to all chairs is that whenever there is a change to the committee a lot of committee member like I know Margaret you did this year but always sending him an email saying these are the current PEL committee members so please make sure this is reflected in the PEL committee member group um and then he will do so okay So, huh. Yes. Senator CC Cot, but he says once that's done, um because in the past individuals the committee will turn over,
but no one took the time to update. So, that's why some so he is willing to do it. So, I just wanted to make sure he asked me to do that. So, that's there and I will share with the other chairs as well. Um I've started my learning walks and I believe my learning walk is tomorrow. So, so tomorrow um I have a pel learning walk and oneonone has shifted my principal one to just giving me the time to get back into the school with them and walk and have that conversation. Um for the first round of elementary learning walks, we're going to tie it into what happened in the IE leadership trainings. Um and so we're going to kind of have like a team learning walk and then it's going to shift into just
Mickey and myself having a oneonone towards towards the end around those things. And that's my Okay. Thank you. Um I will move on to new and continuing business and the first item is a report on the grant the bullying reduction intervention and monitoring. If I say it enough times you will. So I um I wanted to be consistent in and I know that we present this as well so Megan and I went back and we wanted to make sure when what we presented to the other communities we also presented to. So we went back and um we adjusted the rim presentation to make sure we met. But specifically in this one, what we did is we had today um a pull of our rim data to date. So that's the last slide. So I think
everyone has a I could feel to it and then get to the end. Um so what Brim does, it's our um reporting platform. Right now individuals go in and um they report if they experience bullying, harassment. um it captures data around where where it happens um and that all depends on what's being inputed. So this is really this is our first year but this is our learning year. Um what we're also seeing as a gap but I don't think that happens sorry all of a sudden I need to read my sentences. Um what we're not seeing as much on a district level is it being used as an investigative tool and that's in terms of consistency. And so um individuals are still able to make verbal complaints. um if they make a verbal complaint, what
some what what we're trying to now align is that the investigator can then go in and create a broom report so we have a clearer alignment of tools. So those protocols and charge a director with um getting we had a conversation, we had a meeting um and so that those protocols will be developed for the upcoming school year. Um my goal is that also in terms of the roll out this year I don't think the training like more reflect on it we didn't go as deep as we could have and as far reaching as we could have. So I think there's some additional work that we could do um and we plan to do we learned um in our last sitdown walk through that in brim under the reports you can attach to this. So
there's an opportunity that even if you have the bullying checklist, if you have the investigator reports, if you have those things, there's a actual place where you could go and attach that for each case. So that's why I'm saying that the training can be a little more deeper and we could add um additional things. So there's an implementation timeline. We're looking at fall of 2025, training staff on the menu, the investigative protocols. um from my lens creating quarterly reviews um to monitor consistency but actually doing better at cleaning up some of what is is seeing in terms of data and being able to share that out more frequently. I believe we've done one full two full share outs. I think we're getting ready to do one for May, right? Our goal is to hit before
the end of the school year and then next year come up with a formatting that allows us to do it more frequently every quarter basis. So all of that is what we want to do in terms of reporting. Um I did charge Seth this week with creating a communication plan um not just around but on different initiatives and things that are important. So he's going to lay out um his communication plan for the year and start to schedule out when things are supposed to go out in terms of a calendar. So this would be something that would then go on to that calendar. And so I had is pull our recent brim data um just for pellet. So this is now again this is what is stored in brick. So the total incidents stored in
brim are seven seven um about 86% of it is closed. We do have we may have one or two that are still one or two that's still open. Um and then you'll start to see name calling and insults, shoving and hitting um a disability comments involving friends and peers and so problem is so small that and this is we didn't want to go too deep into you know because yeah but as you can see for a small school they have a broad range of of things that happen you know friends and so we didn't do the grade level like we've done before an hour since it literally will be one one identifiable um I will say that the closure rate as Pelum to me um and I know that it seems lower than the 90%
or 95% we aim for but they have a small number of incidents so we have to look at the proportion there but Mickey does a very um I'm going to say tedious job of making sure she questions she asks she she goes back um and I don't get as much alerts that her cases remain open long for. So, um whereas like there are other schools who may have their cases open a little bit longer because of the number and the value. So, I can say that from my lens, they open and they close within a decent time frame. If there's a more expensive case, you will see that that would mean stay open a little bit longer. But I haven't gotten an alert that says you you you have done exceeding this. I like all
seven pieces. No. And Nikki said to Jen, she wants I have one that is closed, but I need to go into that's that's just one. That must be the one. Yes. That's the first luckily the families know it's closed. Um because I'm new just I imagine for elementary school the way the system works it's not students directly reporting. Is that right? Is it they can they can like theoretically but I mean yeah like they can access the site themselves but they're not they can and and that's saying there's a there's a ship right so they can a kindergartener or first grader. Okay. So what some schools do and some individuals who parents sit with their kindergarten and first graders but we also have like a bullying checklist. Yeah. So if a ver like regardless of
how a bullying company comes in verbal or online it must be investigated. But what we're shifting towards is if it is verbally given then the investigator is then going to open up a casing attached to checklist all of those things and say I think is one of the schools that actually if a little one comes in or somebody helps them who helps input for the little ones and then I mean I'm usually the one that puts these in people usually Tell me. I know somebody. But if they mention it, if it comes in email, I put it in. That's a cute. We might have a lot. Yeah. I guess my other question is just like especially for elementary school, like how are you navigating differentiating between the like teasing, bullying, lies? is a lot of
it has to do with the with the definition um and how many times it occurs and so if you know yeah bullying versus harassment and um you know we have the title we have a title phone the title box and but the feelings are real. Sure. So we still have to investigate it see if it meets the definition of bullying versus the definition of harassment. I think um one of the earlier iterations of broom only spoke to bullying but then after it went in front of the regional committee they asked for us to put in there that the findings was um because it was like bullying unconfirmed bullying or something like that. So now we've added one of the findings like harassment confirmed or you know things like that. So it's it's bullying unconfirmed but
then all the categories. So it's kind of going through that process. Um, but that's one of the things that we're trying to address. Like if someone makes a verbal complaint, you realize it has to now we're trying to put it into the platform. Um, how many of these seven were bullying or none or some or no? They used to be on the previous graphs which I would give us. Yeah. But there it's so I was just curious. Yeah. Um I want to say like [Music] I don't but I can get and then I guess my other question is I think the program can't bring all tracking when it's harassment. So if there's like three harassments, it automatically gets teen over to bullying. It the program you're very small. So I mean you have probably have
all that information in your head. So that's what I would have to clarify. Um because I think it's how it's reported and how it's closed. Okay. Um and who's a reporter and things like that. But I can definitely I was just curious. Those would be things I would like to see on the graph. So there's educators we use educators handbook too. So educators handbook um and I will totally be transparent that some teachers are better than others at using it but it tracks bullying over time. So or behaviors over time, sorry. It tracks when, where, um, you operate in who, what, everything. Um, and it gets sent to me. Um, and I have to then figure out what to do with the one behavior. Um, and I can look and it will say this is
so and so's third office referral or this is it does track that in educator handbook. Um, and then you can also see who it was towards. So then that would trip you would have it doesn't automatically trip it though. Okay. That's some of what I was Yeah. was asking about like how you're tracking some of the smaller stuff. Yeah. So, but one of the things that um this with the elementary I think you know the first report that went out was a conversation about consistency and programming and and one of the issues is that there are there's BIM and then there's educator handbook but every school does not use educator handbook the same way. Um so at in In another district that I oversee, the three schools each use educator handbook differently. The middle school
may use may use educator handbook to again share how students discipline is, what's happening, you know, what they saw in terms of teacher reporting. Um this that's where teachers may say this happened in a class and I observed it. So my understanding of how educator handbook is being used is kind of like teacher observes a behavior. This happened in my classroom um or you were disrespectful to me or you were disrespectful to someone else and I'm going to report it. I put that in educator handle and say this happened today between Rachel and Mickey and this this this this and then it generates a report to Mickey in other areas dean or counselors and he goes in and subdue students but it doesn't specifically highlight that I was harassed or I was this this and
this. So this now is more of a I am a I am a person who wants to report that I felt victimized or I felt like this happened or I felt like attacked or I felt this and so that's that's the difference between how we also clarify. Can I ask a follow? Yes. So if educators handbook I guess I'm confused a little confused why we'd have two platforms that are I guess keeping data similar data. So if you see something that comes in on educator's handbook and it's bullying, would you put it in the brim also? Okay. Like educator's handbook is lower lower level stuff. Yeah. educator handbook to to me like I I've seen a couple times more than the educator handbook, but I've seen it where a teacher may share classroom behaviors like
a classroom behavior or or hallway behavior. Not that it was a bullying incident solely or harassment, but like two kids almost got into an altercation today. It was student AB versus and student CD. And so I think these two students, this student used foul language today in my class and um and you want to expand on it. Sure. Um sometimes it does go in the educator's handbook and then it kind of trips me to say that this that crosses a different line that falls into a different category category. Um and um the other thing is it it can be anyone putting it in on any kid in the building. Um so if they see something at recess like Wayne interacted or not interacted, resolve some a conflict between a couple kids. Um he interviewed them.
He did restorative justice with them. He put it all in educator's handbook, what he did with him and um what happened, but he might not know that like this kid also had these five other things going on, but you see that. And so now it's a whole other story. You you have to click on a kid's name, right? So you can when that it'll come to me in an email that day. I have to click in and it won't won't let me ignore it. Um I have to click in and it will say how many office referrals and but in the small school I know that. So I think it's more like what happens in bigger schools. Do you find the two systems are productive of each other? It just seems odd to have two
systems to have to then ask your administrators to input possibly into two systems. So again, it's it's a use, right? Right. So one is to me, for lack of a better word, discipline, behavior tracking. That's not just bullying, harassment. Um and then BRIM focuses on in initially the the focus is on the reporting of be bullying, harassment, you know, or I I felt bullied. I felt like this happened to to me. I felt bullied. I need this investigator. That's brick. Educator handbook is a tracking for student discipline and behaviors that come up. So, I might need you to see the counselor today because I mean I think I saw one where a child didn't feel like the child had repeated like sleep like there's I looked at different examples not just here but outside of
how it's used and so for me the best way I can explain it is all the school behaviors that all could happen whether it's a fight whether it's a curse word whether it's a you just didn't speak up to them. I need the counselor and principal to speak with you. Like all of those schoolbased behaviors that goes into that's tracked in educator handbook, right? Office referrals. Hey, a child may one day go to art and throw everything off the desk. That's not going. But that needs to be recorded and tracked someplace. So that's that goes into educator handbook. Johnny came in today. He threw everything off the desk. He refused to do what I asked him to do. He stole it off out of the classroom. But that's not the behaviors that we're tracking in
group. So, and then educator handbook allows a teacher to kind of expand deeper and what they perceive and what occurred and give like a little bit of a write up. Brim is more of a like this is what occurred, this is what happened. Brim is like an interaction between mult like between people, right? Whereas like educator handbook could be, but it's also like they walked in the room and flipped the table. That doesn't need to go into brim. Like sure that was very disruptive to the classroom and is not how you want a classroom to go but it is not targeted specifically at any one person. It it to me it's like how do I intervene with behavior? So it's like so Nikki is writing a report that Samara had a bad day. She did
this this and this today. patient didn't have a book and now it's like how does how does Rachel as the counselor who might get alert or Mickey as the principal then refer her to Rachel and say hey Sam had this incident happen this is the second time she's done this on a Monday like even even to that point like she needs a counseling session she needs a I do know how uses it too um I do think it would be a great feature if educators handbook could say this is the third time that student A interacted with student B just for the larger schools. So, but Wildwood will have um weekly meetings and look at their educator handbook and it's with the counselors and they then you know what what does so and so need?
this is, you know, the fifth time so and so has done that at PE or the second time they've bothered Joe. Um I know that Wildwood does that. Um and they love those meetings. They feel they're very proactive, which I would agree. Um I in this smaller school I talked to our counselor and some some I mean I actually had parents recently say okay stop asking like what happened like okay I will I'll stop but I do not know what happened. Um yeah so it's really hard to figure out what happened. I'm just going to say that it's like somewhere in the middle. I really I try and really label it what it is and think about what is needed next step. I ask parents what they think is needed next step. I am finding
that um we were chatting about a little bit before there's like a justice feeling that people have and they don't know what that looks like or means. And so, um, asking that question, what do you think should happen helps, but you know, there's a lot of restorative work and, um, sec, you know, it's hard, one class per grade, can't switch classes. For the most part, it was okay. For the most part, my kid came home today and said, "The circles are working." So y love the circle every day. And I also told the teachers like I wrote in my weekly update yesterday two restorative circles per week right now at the very least because this is when behaviors pop up because they're scared to leave us and go to the next teacher. Yeah. Everybody's ready
to go outside. Thank you. Thank you, Dr. Z. That was um informative for me not having children in schools and and having that kind of interaction. Um so we have at some point during the year to take action. Well, I think we do about being a school choice district. Um, and I was given some language for a motion. And so I think I will make a motion and then if people have questions or want to talk about it, we can do that. So I move that the PE elementary school continue its status as a school choice district for the 2025 2026 school year. I second. Thank you. So I Anybody have questions? Anything you feel like we need to discuss? Okay, then I think we'll go ahead and vote. All those in favor? All right.
Um, so Dwayne is not is out with sick kid. Yes, he's done his but I have a very short update from him. um and we'll read it because you know how doing it is. He says, "Good evening to this Pelum school committee. My updates will be short tonight as the work continues with the Pelum mentoring group initiative serving all fifth and sixth grade students as well as the Pelum family connections initiative. We are seeing a positive response from the students as well as their parents and caregivers and a desire to continue to grow them into the future. We are building bonds of trust and open on this communication that will pay dividends in the days, weeks, and years to come. I will furnish an end of year report um at the next Pelum school committee
meeting obtaining the results of my role serving the Pelum school committee as a school support and engagement leaison. The Pelum mentoring group serving all fifth and sixth grade students finishing our fourth and going into our fifth and sixth last week session for this school year. Pelum family connections. To date, I've conducted nine PFC's. That's family connections with three more being scheduled before the end of the school year. And then I'm just going to say he said thank you to me, but I really supposed to say thank you to the fellow school committee and like he said he commits to submitting an end of year report. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Um so I can just attach it to the minute. I'm just going to forward it. Yeah. I wonder if we could get this as
a It's And it's here. It is. It's attached. It's on board. Somebody got it in there. Thank you. Thank you. Um I will add it to the PEL meeting as well. Um so I don't know that we have any other items. There's the tobacco emails. You There's those tobacco emails. Oh, that's the public. Those are public comment. We don't have to. Okay. Yeah. I recommended that um that that was the best way to communicate because then it becomes part of the record and people can see it there. Um I did I have talked to the chair of the planning board about retail sales and town center and it is allowed. What I don't know is the distance from the school um that's required for nicotine nicotine sales but I will find that out. Um all
right so uh future agenda planning I we will have one more meeting in June. Our our elections our well town meeting is Saturday. The town election is the following Tuesday. Um we will have a meeting in June. Whoever of us are going to be on that committee. Um uh and that will be a reorganization meeting at that time. Um the June meeting, pardon the June meeting. June meeting. Mhm. Um and are there anything all are interested in hearing about the um mentoring? Yes, right. I will you have some assessment data for us by I'll have a lot to hear from me. So I'll have end of year data. I will also have um updates on our school improvement plan and our new school improvement plan. What are all the roles? Maybe Margaret you can also
tell me this separately but what are all the roles that the committee take on for the restructuring? Um, president emperor queen queen say queen uh chair vice chair secretary and two representatives to the regional committee three the chair vice chair and secretary because I didn't understand those three people are on unit 26 automatically automatically correct so we don't push anyone on unit 26, but the three people who have those chairs are automatically the the three representatives from unit 26. Do you want to know what unit 26 is? Um, my boss assuming unit 26 is it's three from Ammerst, three from Pelum and they are her boss for Ammerst District and Pelum District Elementary School. Got it. And there's more from the region as well. No, because that's just the all the region is her boss
for the region. It's really can be confusing. It is confusing. I think I followed that. I think I got So you don't have to be on unit 26 to then be one of the two for the region. They're separate, right? But you can wear and you can stack at and we stacked them because there's only three of us, right? I think I I think I The more hats you wear, the more meetings you go to. Right. I got that. That was that felt clear. And that's the the end of there won't be a budget update at that point. I think that will hold over till Q4 will hold over to for in the fall September 4th April. Right. Okay. Usually third quarter, which we do. Do we meet over the summer? Do we do we
typically don't meet in July or August for Pelum, but I well, one of the things I think probably need to talk about or have some information about is um retreat. What we're going to do for a retreat, which is typically been in August, later in August. Sometimes that's a problem because people are on vacation before school starts, but we'll work that out. And occasionally there's a need to, you know, if something special came up. I know we were higher in number of meetings in the summer, but you know, I don't anticipate. Yes. Don't anticipate a lot of meetings this summer, but most of them need to be. So I will read it. I'll second. All those in favor. Great. [Music]
