Watch out. Look at that. I do want to do the handheld at some point. That's going to be fun. I guess with that one it clicks when it comes out. >> Is that too wide? What happened with you guys? I don't know where you went. >> Where are the balls over there? Can we tell them to use a brighter ball so we can see it? That would be nice. What's the question? Yeah. >> [cheering] >> I cannot see the ball or where it may be. Yeah, just follow the group. A little pick-me-up. Let's get an in-frame. Well, now I know how to set up the monitor real well. >> The battery for Ashley is right. Where do you put it? Because it's mobile, we're going to put it there. So, the batteries are in the

camera cases on the sides. Do they all use the same battery? They all use the same batteries, but we like to go by the numbers. So, whatever camera case it's >> [cheering] >> going to be on, you take the battery out of the sole camera. It's red, too. And this is two. So, it's red. Can I have that one? Yes. Yep. All right. So, it looks like it's one and nothing. Ashley is the score. Yep. Right. Where's that Ashley one? I don't know if people have the blue. Yeah, Ashley is the score. Ashley is the score. So, who's scoring? Ashley. So, are you doing the commentary? All right. Do we have the headsets? She wants to commentate. Yep. Do you want me to help her with those or >> [cheering] >> So, the headsets are

in the back of the car. So, >> [screaming] >> we have we talked about Ashley is the score. So, that is all we Are we streaming? Yeah. It's one headset. So, this is the headset. Let me get someone on wireless are they going to have a a communication headset? This is my connection. This is the headphone amplifier. And a mixer. That we use to connect those headsets to. It also has to connect to my interface. So these are the two connections that go out of the back of that into my audio interface. That's all I'm going to bring in today. Same with All right, then we need a battery for this camera, right? You want to take it out of the same same bag that we got out of. >> [cheering] >> So uh This

one? Yeah. All right. And then generally like when we're doing uh any kind of camera work Well, we go in order. The batteries are are numbered 1 to So we go start with the lowest number and work our way up. Okay. That way when we charge them at night, we know which ones are charged. All right. Got you. It's like it will wrapping is important. It always has to be wrapped. So we're going really fast today, but we're going to do this again. Let's try to do it. We're going to do this rolling nice around the floor, especially cuz I got to go to school tonight. Go through it and you plug it in. That's how our cables are wrapped. That's it. Another [cheering] score. I have to do this to make sure this is

transmitting SDI. This camera can do SDI and also use the max output. All right. Jeff, are you receiving the wireless SDI? Yes, I do see it. You do see it? Yeah. On the back of this is the power. So this is pretty good. In here it's kind of dark, so And phantom power means that some microphones need power from the mixer to I know. So that's what we're going to do. Turn that on. Are you putting it out to the speakers? I'm learning stuff about exposure on this. >> [cheering] >> And the other team just scored. >> [cheering] >> I'm I want to learn about that, but I'm also doing this. Hey, will you teach me that in a second? What you said just scored? Uh the other team. It's two to one, Ashland. I

accept for a day like So we're good. Where the ball at? Is this one set correctly? I mean, this I don't think we did anything to it. Is it We're live right now? Okay. Don't mess around with those controls. So, you can follow again and stand right in front of the And you can follow again like that. Just the the red box is what is on the screen, right? Just the red box and >> He won't Yeah, he won't No, we see more than that. That's the safety thing. Okay. So, generally you do want to keep your players in that box. Chase it. Yeah. I can't get the See, they go out of frame right there. All right. What did you just talk about exposure? I missed all that. I was doing this. So, your

exposure um right now you're on I'm fully manual. Yeah. So, you can control your exposure. So, your exposure looks right on right now for the conditions. Yeah. >> But, if we needed some more light, which you know, we might need some more light so >> [applause] >> Is that filming? Uh I don't think so. It's pretty hot. But, Oh, yeah, cuz we All right, yeah. on the camera. We're going to go wireless on that one, I'm assuming. It's not live anymore, right? I wish I could say I do but Yeah. How would you describe >> All right, so you're getting a call from us. No, I'm just kind of running around here. Oh, that's a nice Yeah, we got some crazy zoom going on. And I'm going to go back to the main angle. It's

all right right out there where the Ashland A is in the middle. Can I try? Yeah, if you want to try. Okay. Follow the action. Wait, when do I get to come? She's going crazy. Well, we'll switch back. We just need two people down there. Every quarter. You're not going to zoom in all the way. You want to keep it as wide as you can because you want to see everything. You go wider. Right there. You want nice smooth movement over quick movements. Back it up. Wide shot. Wide shot. Right there. Zoom in after they score or something and you want to get back there. Yeah, you did that for a couple minutes. I'm going to need another piece of pizza. Are you practicing on my camera? What are you talking to No, no, I

didn't Do you want to practice? I don't actually I don't think I'm going to use it. Do you want to practice? How much is the camera? Okay. Are you able to buy it? >> Oh, no. No. That looks good. I'm going to make sure that everything you want to get is in that red square. Oh, there we go. Hey, I learned a lot today already about this. Yeah, I know. You got to get it. Mhm. You really like that's really how it is. That's what I had in mind anyway. I get it. Um I need just the I need just the bubble on that. The bubble? Yeah, yeah. How much of a bubble do you want? That was doesn't have a normal head. You have the far arrays and you want to be feet. It's

looking pretty good. Not bad. Uh that looks good. Give it some pretty level. Are you going to get me an apron? Yeah. You just got to find it. I think they're going back to the film. Uh got you. Where is the photographer? I don't know. I don't I got it. A very bad photographer. You got like a kid. I think the photographer He is getting it. Yeah. You got to get it and then you got to get it. Yeah. Number 19, that's number 24. Number eight gets the ball. Passes back to number eight. Number eight drives through the ball. Shoots, but misses. deflected It's not blocked. It looks like it bounced. Oh, really? Don't trust my eyesight. Did it bounce right here? What? Did it bounce? Yeah. Yeah, it bounced. Okay. No, don't trust my

eyesight. You know, I don't know. It looks good. It's not going in. It looks good, but it's hard. It is hard. Yeah. You got to practice with that. It was in my mind. You do it. I didn't have any ball control. I don't think he did it on purpose. Say what? Come on. You got to get a model of that. Yeah, I want to go home. I don't think he did it on purpose. He just kicked it without Yeah, I opened it. It's still two to one. Yeah, is it still two to one? All right. So, who wants to just play now? Someone just scored. Who you scored on? Question. Okay, so did Norwood score? Yeah. All right. This camera's too good. Yeah, that was good. Are we not supposed to score? Yeah, hold on.

All right. All right. So, this is the browser code. Yeah. This is the So, yeah. 40 V. 40 V browser. It's just a machine. And it shows like that's the So, yeah. Do you want to do the next group they go to down there and get that? What? Do you want to go down there and join your guys? Yeah. Do you want to do the rest of this? I want to get Do you want me to try to join up on the other shoots that you're on? Yeah. Okay. I'm probably busy, but I'll see what I can do about putting it I I can see the schedule so I know when you can like sign up for it. By the way, don't sign up for the ones that say no go. They're not happening. Oh,

okay. Okay? I saw your name in them like, what? I don't want you showing up to something where there's going to be no one there. So you guys Stephanie, you guys are getting tight shots, right? Okay. You guys are getting Are you staying down there with him or I'm going to What? That's half? Half. Half? Already? Quarter. It's half. Come on. Dude, but the baseball was kind of fun though. I thought that was pretty cool. And I got the hang of it. I felt like I was in the game, you know? Maybe you should get a tight shot of like the homerun or something. Here, I got to think I can try that. Yeah, so generally we do >> That way you have something interesting to look at, you know. Generally during race, I have

this is two cameras. Camera one always goes to the home team. That was just behind them like it's all along and then camera two What? Away. Stephan. Get a shot of them. Close up. So we we can we can set up the box. Do you want to set up the box? Yeah, let's do it. And then just try it anyway. Call it loud. Is this all right? We need a full picture as well. Let me open this thing. Are you doing the switching? All right, this is the wired one. Here you go. You do it yourself. All right. It's underneath the pocket on the right. You said I got to go in there to get the power supply. For this? Okay. So What are the four ones? Okay, you're on that? Am I supposed to

be wide? Uh Or wider? Go to the wide. Wide. Okay. Yeah, that's probably what I do. All right, so I want to do that. Okay. hacks for this score like this. Probably all the way over there. Okay, I cannot get these up. Oh my gosh. Follow the action. You got it? Can't tell where it is. Yeah, it's hard to find. I generally follow the group. You always want like six or seven players in the frame. And it's okay if you're a little behind the action, but Yeah, that's okay, you know? It's better than trying Follow the action. I don't want to go too fast when the gravity is falling. You just always picture yourself watching this on the big screen. It gets worse. What the freaking ball? Goldie moving so far up. He wants headphones

now. That's so much hype. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh-oh. Who wants to switch to me? Who was that? What are you doing on the score? I don't think they scored. I think they scored. No, I Yeah, they did not score. You just got to score. Oh yeah, you If you are on the same position Yeah, I was just covering her. Oh. Jared, you can take the pulse. Okay. You just got to score. Yeah, I'm on the job until the next goal. And don't switch until the next three goals. Okay. All right, so I got to keep track of the score and stuff. You're on score until the next goal. Jared, you stay on my camera. I'm on camera right now, but but then I think next quarter I'll go to this I'm just going to watch

a pit I might sit in that fire. I'm from that angle. All right, who wants to go next? Set up the tripod. I might be next. Go ahead and have the home screen ready. Do you already have that home screen? Yeah, you can have that. I need the power supply to this project cuz there's another power supply. Oh, yeah. You got 1 minute. >> [screaming] >> Is there another battery headset? Wait, what? Where are they? Over here somewhere. Sir, um Yeah, so basically this is just like I mean we're not going to be able to Solid green? That juke is crazy. No, I can't get that. CHECK, CHECK, CHECK. BRING this on the [cheering] field. Come on, I got this. Oh, ref! Yeah! >> What do you got, ref? I'm good. Anyone else want to

hear the call? Garrett, any punt? All right. Yeah, you're on camera. Put that for the court. He's got the ball. I mean, cuz we're not comfortable I don't know. I see flashing red. Oh, I'm going to give it All right, this is top Garrett. Check, check. Hey, Garrett, we need It's on now. Lou, get the ball! Garrett! Where's he going? Usually the crew has to hear what's going on if you want me to confirm. Actually, can I have a hearing? sports caster I'm setting on the microphone. blue means good That means it's transmitting. button on the side This is your mute button. Hit this. I can hear you. And it's down there so you can see it while you're on. There's two lights on the microphone. If it's blue, that means it's also transmitting. It's

a solid little green. It has AI noise reduction. So, the green setting on this one is to help reject noise outside of the microphone. That's why I think this is a cool setting. When you're in green, it's still trying to cancel noise out. So, the solid light is always transmitting. It should be green. If you don't No one Sometimes you don't want anyone hearing you saying anything. That's when you mute. Quick and turns to red. And then there's a volume volume control There's up and down And then there's a gain setting on the microphone. If it's too low, you can lower it. If it's too high, you can lower it as well. Ah, I can't go that far. Okay. All right. So, what All you do is this. Yeah, we don't use that here. This

cut button? And that's how you talk. This is program window. Yeah, so this is This is also what's going to YouTube. So, you know, you can preview different sources. This is preview with So, So, right now, the shots are looking pretty pretty simple. You know, So, you can use your headsets and you can talk. You can have like M2. You can make a call and say, "Hey, M2." And that should be good to go. You know, what Stefan, Stefan now. So, uh um So, you're going to be camera two. And so, normally the director's going to, you know, offer some advice like, "Cam two, can you please zoom in on the blue team?" And then he would go ahead and zoom in. During breaks, camera two usually goes to the away team, which is the

blue team. And camera one automatically zooms in on uh the Ashland team. That's just how I I do it. It's easy. That's how you do it. I always do it. I always have two shots. So, okay, everybody now is on the camera one. And uh he's in here with us. We're all talking together. We use these headsets. Headsets. And So, what we're going to do is we're going to let Harry um do a little bit of directing and switching. And so, you're doing a good job. So, you're able to do with that cam two. Generally, getting a little bit more of a like a medium sort of tight, not very tight. You know, what the guy is directing. So, people just say um slow movement is the best. It's okay if you're a little bit

off the action. It's just to make sure you're aware where the ball is. It's kind of hard sometimes. So, just keep in mind that slow motion makes the viewer at home want you see this on a bigger screen. It's much much more more enjoyable on these lines. If you're not sure, then just back the shot out a little bit. You know, when you're when you're really in tight, makes things harder. You're looking for the ball, sometimes they pass it over long distances, so that can make it difficult to find. So, the camera one is generally going to give me a wider shot. I'll give them a higher and a more perspective on the play. When we get down, when the ball gets down near the goals, obviously you can get in a little bit tighter.

And then when there's a score or something like that, you know, maybe find the player that scored, okay That's just all stuff that you can do with it. Their offensive coordinator That's the philosophy behind camera two. I can always cut to my camera one. >> [cheering] >> You know, what we're going to be missing is but the better shots often times come from camera two. You know, people like to see close-ups and you know, it's big big plays and If you're doing good, you're pushing a little bit more. In general, yeah, that's that's kind of nice. You know, if you see the action better on your viewer, that's what you're going to see on the screen, you know, so if you're confident, you can follow them running up and down. Go ahead. The director has

the opportunity to to use that shot or not. Um because we've always got the wide shot to cut to. Yeah. And that's just the worse The cameras come to know what they're doing. The directors know what they're doing. Honestly, and then we're able to switch like all like the vice versa. You took your mic off. You turned your mic off. And that takes time, but that's the goal. You work as a crew and you all communicate together and you get on the radio together. YEAH! >> [cheering] >> OH, YEAH! WOO! YEAH, YOU KNOW, SOMETIMES WHEN THE REF MAKES A CALL Nice job, Brody! that's a good thing for camera two to get it in there. Did you guys see a flash light? I have a feeling Harrison natural play He's either a control freak or

an anal prick. I don't know. Well, I'm going to have to channel the energy. I like to keep it light, so Yeah, I make fun of you guys. Just I'm an easy going guy. I have a sense of humor. You know, I like to bust on everybody. So, you just have to get used to my humor. All right, then we'll be friends. You'll be all right. But, I know I I do expect a little professionalism and attention and do your best. That's what makes a good team. So, you guys can go video the soldiers. All right, so the normal call as a director is You would say, "Okay, cam one. Ready." And if you're not, I'd say, "Well, I'm ready." And I would say, "When I'm ready to take it, I'd say, 'Okay, take one.'"

And because we don't have tally lights and some some fancy cameras, your screen lights up with a red box when you're recording or when I'm sending THAT TO YOU. WHICH MEANS AND THEN I'LL JUST SAY, "OKAY, CAM TWO, LET'S RECORD." AND SAY, "OKAY, READY, cam two, take two." And then I'll say, "Oh, no, that's your fault." Oh, they're like thinking out loud. What's going on? Uh, we got over there. That's how I roll. I'd say, "Okay, cam two, ready." And I'd say, "Take two." And then that means I'm cutting to your cam. So, I'll see what I'm watching on cam two. You know, eventually motions, just follow your action. And then the camera can go back to cam one. That allows you to make some adjustments or adjust your shot or do whatever. That's that's

the basic directing. So, I'm going to let Harrison my seat and let him I'm going to let him choose the camera angles. Generally, I use the cameras I always assume that the cameras are passing audio. And >> [cheering] >> Uh-huh. Mhm. Got you. All right. >> [snorts] >> Awesome. All right. Hey! Come on, boy. YEAH, CONNOR. OH, HE DIDN'T KNOW, DUDE. KEEP ON PLAYING. KEEP ON PLAYING. RUN OFF. RUN OFF. RUN OFF. WHAT? PLAYING THE MATTER CROSS. YOU'RE DOING A GOOD PASS. 30 seconds. Go there. Get some shots. Right away. Right away. HERE YOU GO, LADY. I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU RIGHT AWAY. >> UM I DON'T KNOW. I'M USING YEAH, I'M USING THE SAME. That's good. Ready? All right. That's us. Mhm. Get Scoreboard. Okay. Oh, crap. My fault. Did you yell at the

scoreboard? Yeah, they are. Uh-huh. Red. Oh, came for the broadcast. Oh. Red. Got you. Got you. >> I know. All right. Okay. All right. I appreciate it. When there's emotion work out it's all good. Oh, that's fun. Yeah. It's like it's like >> Mr. Director, are you ready? Are you Are you on Are you on cam one and two? I'll get on that. And you got that, right? Can you um show me how this works? So you have So this is zoom out. Cut to camera one. I'm going to show Xavier a bit about this camera. Okay. Zoom rocker, this way to come out. Wait, what? Oh. This way to come out. This way to come in. You got that? >> Yeah. And this is basically Yeah. Um and then this is the pan. So

really that's all we're going to be doing. You don't use these for these four? Those buttons we don't really use except for setting the channels. I see. >> [laughter] >> So like you can get a shot here. So remember when you said we prioritize these. We prioritize uh slow shots over fast shots. So basically we don't want to be doing like that. Like cuz that's too quick. We need to have a nice and steady and zoom Our job is to zoom in whenever there's action. So I see that guy walking over there, for example. It's not very exciting, but it's it's something moving, you know? And we want to try to keep a consistent level more so than like cuz this is harder to do than like that. You know, so keep it like that.

See look at the the guys over there playing around. Look at them. But like our job is to get those tiny little things happening, you know. So I'm going to go back to the scoreboard now. [music] Okay. We're going to see. Yeah, give it a shot. Give it a shot. Yeah, we're using all the Can we cut to camera one on this for a second? See, that's a good shot. You want to get that too? I like water. Oh, I see. I see it. He's walking back, so let's get that. All right. All right. All right. So he's on you now, so get that shot. Nice. Yeah, thank you. It's good. I like that shot. I don't want to pay all that money for nothing. I mean hey, just one. They're still going to want

the override though. Yeah. I'm going to pay more money. I can go for a night game. Yeah. Can you get the goalie? I know it. It's like slowly. I don't want to hit Cam one's getting action, so we should go to Cam one. Okay. I think we zoom to middle? >> Yeah, I'll try to get the closest shot. So, he's he's going to talk to you. Oh, he is? Okay. All right, can I copy? Do you want to zoom in on center? Yeah. Okay, let me go up more. You're cutting it. Start. Let's zoom out. Come on, Ronnie. Go to like a medium. Okay. >> Shoot it. So we should get Oh, are we getting it? Yeah. Oh, get closer to the Did we get that? Yeah. Okay. Let's get going, Billy. >> [crying] >>

I can also use this. Okay, I like that more. Consistent tracking. Attaboy, Brody. Thank you. I see. Okay, wait. Yeah, right there. Block on eight. Eight. Okay. Number 27. >> You can You can use that or you can use this. I like this one more. It's faster. It is faster. Hey. It's not my mom, thanks. Come on, Wyatt. Come on, Ryder. COME ON, RYDER. OH, COME ON. WHO'S DOING THAT? OH. >> NICE. ONE MORE SHOT. TAKE THAT. LET ME LET me get him in. Eric, did you cut the camera to do that? Okay. Okay. Okay. Excellent. Number five. WHAT WAS THAT? IT'S NUMBER FIVE. YOU KNOW what I mean? Where's the ref? Okay, ref. Over there? Nice shot. You got a nice shot. Yeah. I think he can see from over Still in the game.

I'm hungry. Look at that. >> [screaming] >> Is that number 27? It's like training. Love of the game. >> [screaming] >> It's number 26, right? Okay. I see Yeah, I We just got Did you see that, too? Okay. Oh, man. He's like running. Did you get all that on tape? I did get it. Hi, Julia. Wait. Is that That's Julia. That is Julia. Okay. How do you know her? She's in the game. Oh, I see. That's your mom. >> She's short. Me? No. >> [screaming] [cheering] >> Yes. Yes. >> Yes. Keep it steady. Yeah, my actions should be steady. Trying to go less up and down, more out and in. Oh, look. It looks like they're about to score. It's close. That's a close one. That's a close one. I like camera two. You like

camera two? >> Yeah. Okay, see, I knew you'd like camera two. That's why I brought you to that. Would you want to try camera two at some point? Okay. Okay. Order Order three. Order three? I'll be on camera two. >> Or yeah. No, one Oh, it is? Oh, do you want to try? Camera two? Yeah, I'll just do it. >> going to do it right now. Get in there. Oh. Eight versus eight. Whoa. What a day. Nine versus seven. He sucks. I'm going Lift that, Parker. Yeah. Okay. So, me and Harry [snorts] were laughing about it earlier. Where are we? Where do you want me? Hey, we should send a picture. Harry, did you get the camera? Yeah, you didn't get my face in cuz the mic was in the way. How's the shot? I

feel like roughing would be fun. That'd be fun. It would be kind of scary, but How was that pan? I used the rocker cuz I like this slow zoom. Huh? I like I used the rocker cuz I like this slow zoom. Okay, so this is versus the three back. Oh, I see. But that's fast. I'll get you back on this in a couple seconds. I just wanted to try it. All right. CUZ IT'S GOING to stay over there, so I'm going to stay over here. It's the goalie, you know. I would good. You got that? How was that kid? Why are they so intense, bro? Sophia, you're in frame. Back up. >> [cheering] >> Okay, let me get something interesting. Oh. What a shot, though. Still. I know, but the shot was good, so it's

Yeah. Try to Ooh. Another good shot. I'm just going to get this last play and then I'll get you back on the field. What's this timer say up on the scoreboard? Uh 4 minutes. Yeah, I'll get you back on after this play. Is this like the last Does this three There's four quarters. Oh, wait. So, this was my quarter. Yeah. Getting what? Action. That's action. See that? Yeah, I feel like we're just kind of splitting THE QUARTERS, BUT >> [cheering] >> SOMEONE GET ORVILLE'S REACTION. I'LL GET ASHLIN'S REACTION. Look how sad they are. I feel like it's rude to be on that shot, but it's so funny. All right, Sophia, you want to get back on? All right. It's more like a how did we get here kind of moment. You know? Just another side

bust. Yeah. >> WHAT IS GOING ON? See some action going on. Cam two. All right, got Cam 8, number 8 right now. He's going. He's going. Oh, oh, oh. He did not get a nice and get a nice close to the goal and let's score. >> [cheering] [screaming] >> I got them in. Big game. All right, I'm zooming out again. See out there, still? I had some goals and zoom tight on them. Uh-oh. Got to be wide. LET'S GO. GO, GO, GO. LET'S GO. >> [cheering] [cheering] >> STILL SHORT. WHERE'S THE BALL? OH, I SEE. OKAY. Getting some action. >> Get that action. I am getting action. I did. Let me zoom in into one of them. Okay. Oh, we're streaming. We just cut the audio. Okay, they dispersed. What she say? 10. All right,

03826. Is that up? And they just missed. Yeah. They're all in the They're all in the corners, back corner. It's in 7-10 right now. He just dodged number eight. He's running. I have a good shot, by the way. I am. All right, the ball is in number five's hand. Zooming in, zooming out. Ashley's got it, number four. Ashley's interconnecting right now, they're making a play. Will they score or will they not score? We'll We'll see. Watch now, watch the TV. Oh, what a pass, yeah. 22 behind the net. Ashley 22. takes a 26 in prime position to run 26. Who got us? No, yeah, or like soon. Let's see if it Oh, and that was a good shot. >> [cheering] >> Wow, look at them. With 29 seconds to go in the third quarter, the
