foreign for all right temporary chairs at this time when we needed a temporary chair s whatever roll call please here Brown here scroll is Miss Davis here Mr G Francesco here Mr Johnson here Mr Lynch here Mr Tyson right here Mr Pulaski here and then some of their board members we don't have to list them but everybody have the list thank you nomination for the president I'd like to nominate Jen Davis Jen Davis okay any other nominations we have two nominations at this time okay and they are the nominations if not well let's take a look do we have a discussion on this boat is that your wish I'm asking the question yeah sure go ahead go ahead I'm going to say the uh gen really found her voice on the school board um she's

on conservative with kids in the school she best in the school and in the district with scores dropping of the current leadership spending going up unnecessary lawsuits I really think that we need to change a Direction as a board and I think that having Jen Who's involved has been involved since she got two pancreas would be a good move for the students and the taxpayers of any other comments between long research and time mm-hmm the whole time such as that but that I will say whoever is president I think one thing president and whoever elected vice president should do for this year and from here on board As Leaders we need to start setting a better presidents precedence within the board showing what our agenda what our goals what we'd like to see what we'd

like to achieve Gene and also we need to take a harder look at some of these policies as far as attendance and what the expectations of a board member is and I understand things come up and we all have issues we will all message but there has to be in relationship to your elected official you I know we don't get paid a lot of money but we still have an obligation to do and do take the hard work of that and also our our committees and whoever was vice president of the Committees I would like to recommend that vice president being in charge of the community for the simple fact of scheduling and setting things we need to do a better job of those committees or committees the past you're going to have that's really

not we haven't done that great job thank you Mr Brown anyone else okay between Francesco Mr Johnson Mr Lynch Burg president for the next year hopefully you got them really okay let's go to the nomination of vice presidents do we have any nominations for vice president thank you okay we have Mr Johnson Miss Davis and bro ccoli and the discussions for the vice president discussion I'll give you the microphone because we 've been a lot easier to understand yeah let's take a vote [Music] Mr bless you well that wasn't plannable Professor Johnson thank you Mr Johnson okay at this time we have a president and vice president we need to appoint a solution what does this mean in every year this release is up for for a real point not necessarily we're not bound to

keep the simplest solution if divorce gives us that we have the industry service has been excellent we checked out for that but I think it was so far then we can keep the lead pressure solution I moved for Clinton Law Firm and the discussion well all in favor say aye all right um okay we have to appoint a psba laser um we've got meeting days twice a option A is more format that the district has used in the past in option b I believe is One Direction it was Tuesday Thursday so Tuesday Thursday sorry not Monday not Monday Thursday Tuesday Thursday which is Monday Thursday or B which is Tuesday third move for option A we have a second and a discussion at this time I think the reason why you know for Tuesday because

sometimes we have a lot of directives that just to make the meeting that mandates and that was the reason but anyway for you option A say May and we go to the option b for a Tuesday so okay so any questions what's the majority want I don't that's what I'm capable actually that's what it is okay yeah so let's take a boat to actually you want a room oh or you want to okay all in favor for option A say hi hi one objections that's me appointments of uh psba and then perhaps so you can explain what the expansion is yeah we can we appoint uh individual to uh coordinate activities and information with pspa uh [Music] School Board Association um it depends on that member and time and effort they have available is anybody

interested in that to be represented I nominated we have a nomination correct yeah okay all in favor can I wait until June any announcements to announcement we have to adjourn the uh the reorganization we're going to go to the regular building all in favor to adjour and say hi I'm Colin I'm calling the regular made into order phone call again I guess [Music] I guess yeah Johnson right here I've gone to the next one approval of minutes some of will have an emotion in a second and a discussion about it approve the minutes say aye aye we have several student presentations this evening our first it will be from student presentation Saegertown High School uh Lauren Edwards this is the right microphone right yeah foreign hello my name is Lauren Edwards and I'm here to

or Geneva College thank you congratulations [Applause] [Music] recognitions we're going to start with Maplewood high school girls volleyball and I would ask the coaches to come up to the microphone and say some words about the team the season and again I know a lot of the girls are unavailable due to basketball and other endeavors but we do have some here and and we can introduce them as well and we'll read the rules foreign like to thank you for this recognition on behalf of the Maplewood girls volleyball team as Dr classical said we have many of our three quarters of our team plays basketball which is not a bad thing so they all had a game tonight uh the members of our team that we have here are Izzy Somerville third junior since I heard Miley

property can stand out that's okay freshman Miley Crawford breed Neely is also a freshman and our lone senior that is here is McKenna Crawford so a great season I'm just going to give you also have Allison Paula here is my assistant coach we also have Jason and Nicole Amy as our coaches that could not be here and Madeleine Nichols I'm just going to give you a brief summary I could talk all night on volleyball it's my passion I love it I love coaching obviously I've been around for a long time but for those of you that did follow us this pretty much all started September 27th we went to cockerton and we got swept off the floor actually we got embarrassed and wanted to walk out of the gym with a bag over my head

it was bad I was like one of those things we went back to the gym and we said let's restart things so we went back on September 28th and we changed the entire lineup and after that we went on to sweep everyone we were 18-0 and then we were able to attend the state college tournament which I want to thank our board members for allowing us to do that I don't think you really realize how important that is to get outside of the district and being able to play the quad a school state-ranked schools and it made a difference made a huge difference what's a schenler went to State College lost in the quarterfinals but we actually lost to All Quality schools when we were there then we um from there we came home won

our home tournament and we beat cash in the finals went undefeated for the day and we played copperton on October 20th and it was close match went 3-2 but I felt if we could get out of our district we have a chance because district 10 is pretty strong on volleyball from there we never looked back we went 21-0 never lost a set um girls just played phenomenal you get to see the level of the game just stepped up for the next level and they um we just sort of looked on Focus team and the support in our community was fabulous we could not have done it small town community we went all the way to Mechanicsburg I wish it was closer I know we would have had more people there but we took a spectator

bus the fact that these kids got up at four o'clock in the morning and rode on a pulled school bus all the way there to cheer us on and we needed every ounce of that and so with that Community Support we were able to bring back the gold for the sixth time in Maplewood school history and I'm just very honored to be a part of that and I'd like to thank you for all your support that you've given us throughout the year and Allison I don't know if she really wants to talk but Allison Allison has been of great support to me as well Allison was one of my former players and now we got her back in the district thank goodness and it's been wonderful to have her at the high school I have

that connection I'm at the elementary but to have her around the girls all the time at the high school it's been a great support so again I could talk forever but I want to thank you for this time and for the recognizing the girls that would have loved to been here they want to all to say thank you as well okay thank you thank you [Applause] some cross country student athletes participate in the PIAA state championship match Lincoln here is not here I was unable to make it um let's go video so we congratulate him sangertown high school has a student athlete and a coach Hedrick come on Sam where everyone first congratulations to Maplewood volleyball to win a state championship is a unique and an amazing thing it happens to one school every year

and that school has won it several times congratulations to your team and all the people that have been recognized for sports and other things about Sam uh first of all I was my kid so it's easy to talk about him but it's hard to talk about them at the same time he's only the second runner I've ever had in 21 years of coaching cross-country to make four trips to Hershey he meddled there in both his freshman and softball sophomore years last year when I spoke here to you board members I finished by saying that though Sam's junior year was not his best I fully expected him to return to form of inventions well he did just that he won the district 10 Championship race at Titusville the last weekend in October and that was really

fun as a dad and Coach to see that one by many many seconds it was it was a blast then it states in Hershey in the final race of his high school career he sprinted to 19th Place earning his third state medal and becoming one of only three segretown runners to do that he had a great season an incredible career I will miss him immensely on the team he's undecided about his future plans still but he may run in college or he may enlisted in the military we've been speaking with military recruiters during my free period school and he's visited Allegheny and he still has some other options on his plate either way I'm going to miss him as a runner and a leader on this team he's been a runner and a leader since

he's stepped up in fifth grade decided he's going to do this great sport best sport on the planet cross country he will be the best statue foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Debbie Miller president would like to say a few words good evening I just wanted to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself I've been here like every month for the last I don't know how many years as the vice president but I am now stepping up and replacing my esteemed poly Melissa statman who has gone on to um a position in the state of Maine I have huge shoes to fill but the first thing that I would like to do is to offer myself and the membership of teachers we are here to work with you as a school board and I was just thinking of

all the things that I see on the agenda tonight um and every night that I've been here serving the teachers union as a representative and there's a lot of things that we can help you with and provide input we're fully aware that it's your call it's your job to adopt policies and Implement them and all of that but couldn't we help you and provide Insight from the point of view of the teacher and I bet you that others would join us in that I bet you would have parents that could sit and advise them to the different committees that you have and I bet you have students because I see great ones here every month doing that so that's my offer to you the doors open we'd like to work with you moving forward and

let's make penncrest someplace that's sought after five families they want to move here they want to raise their families here and make it a great place for kids let's really be honest about and intentional about making our decisions all about what's best for those kids thank you thank you very much because they want to practice or want to go see an event please do so this time you're not going to hurt our feelings kind of dark out there while they're leaving just as a reminder we have seven registered speakers when you register to speak 24 hours in advance you can get five minutes to speak anybody who wants to speak on any agenda item has two minutes who's not registered our policy also says in speaking will be limited to 30 minutes I that if

you speak you are as concise as possible with that anything else Mr Francesco people into all the speakers you know if you would like to see every speaker they spend four minutes and I will give you the total time will be less than 30 minutes and we will go we won't be in violation of the policy that it's in effect today the first speaker is the Stacy Tracy would you come to the microphone you got a full minutes Mr if that microphone doesn't work I'll let you use this one so please just all right good evening my name is Stacy Hendrick I live at 340 Grant Street in Saegertown I am a citizen taxpayer teacher and parent of a Saegertown student I read the Meadville Tribune every day we're lucky to have such a fabulous

resource locally but on November 23rd I missed something 42 words posted in the Public Notices section that announced a policy meeting for December 1st it was only printed one day it was not posted to the pancreas website as many other school boards do and apparently it was posted on the doors of central office I also missed that but the board followed the law I guess what a meeting it must have been ten policies are on the agenda tonight many of them like policy 109.2 were just revised and approved in July of 2022 four months ago why revisit them what has changed when the draft policies were posted to the board docs this week I was astounded and crushed nearly every one of these policies seems designed to restrict students access to information resources activities and

support or policy 109.2 regarding Library resources is particularly restrictive discriminatory and probably illegal were it to be approved but that won't concern you you have the votes to pass it in fact you have the votes to pass whatever ideological founded wrong-headed policy you conceive or find in Texas or Central Bucks School District which has the most restrictive Library policy in Pennsylvania or some other place that provides model policies for Citizens with your particular agenda and your agenda is no secret your playbook comes from the American Family Association or Focus focus on the family or some other group that provides discriminatory language for you to cut and paste into your documents like you did with the anti-crt policy you passed earlier this year but I want you to know people are watching the ACLU is watching

the governor's Commission on lgbtq Affairs is watching local attorneys and champions of lgbtq plus students and families are watching Title IX Advocates are watching local people who don't share any part of your agenda are watching and most of all the future is watching I have two requests of the board this evening do better at advertising your meetings please 42 words print at one time is not enough to inform the public democracy dies in darkness please do better try to accept the idea that public schools serve everyone as each year passes we will have more students and families who have loved ones who would be harmed by your supposed policy ideas which are clearly discriminatory and run counter to the ideals you purport to support with your anti-discrimination resolutions you were elected to serve this District

you righteously believe that you know best and you will do what you will do there are five open board seats in 2023 I strongly encourage any citizen of penncrest who finds these policies as abhorrent as I do to please run for school board for help Usher pen Crest into the future instead of seeking to return into some narrowly held vision of the past I will leave you with 45 words to counter your 42 word public notice these are words that every student who comes through my journalism program memorizes Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for redress and grievances I would

like to thank you for your timeline thank you okay Edwards so I know because they have never needed myself my name is Catherine Edwards and I would like to urge the board to reconsider to propose provisions of policy governing Library materials I don't understand the value of the added tax it presents its presence either indicates that without it this board would be approving reporting graphic material to the library or that the library is somehow unintentionally right with this content to the extent that it merits action in the internet age it is absurd to suggest that the school is library is a viable or preferred source to gain access to a list of hearing no one is sleeping through bad copies National Geographic looking for dirty pictures anymore currently materials are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

where the Merit where the academic merits of each book can be measured and individually the procedure was used partly Peter was used a few media meetings back without issue it important animal mechanisms to disqualify any submission and ensure that due consideration was given each item the current provision of this policy was passed in July of this year you considered insufficient then it continues to be sufficient now I'm more interested in how this Obsession regarding the library content has not expected to acknowledging how little access our students are given to the library itself in second time high school it is my understanding that the library can only be accessed on Mondays and Fridays when the library is available additional class additionally class time is not allotted to allow students dedicated time to explore the library students

have to visit on their own time or using a three-minute call pass it seems to me that the content of the collection is only relevant if students are actually even to you it makes me wonder why such time and energy has been devoted to providing this policy twice in five months as a parent and District resident I would much rather know that what progress has been made in the interest of the music department it took a lot of Courage for a group of students to to blatantly expose the extreme neglect the music program has received and requests your help despite the sheer indifference of this this neighborhood have still managed to rank first place in various competitions this year imagine how successful they could be if their instruments worked and they were recognized for their

College maybe if we approach this situation with this much bigger as you've shown in your quest to eliminate orgasms and directions from classical literature a solution could have already been found each day we allowed us to continue we failed them forgive me these items are not on the agenda instead the board is chosen to prioritize changes to the inner success in terscholastic Athletics policy the term biological sex adverb has been clumsily inserted into the policy at one point reading and I quote for participation in interscholastic athletic programs to biological adverbs male and female students on as equal a basis as is practicable and without discrimination in accordance with law and regulations this borders are nonsensical what is this intended to express I'm not sure the original passage was meant to communicate that the board would

follow the letter of the law and not practice discrimination between male and female programs put simply insertion of this does not mean what you mean to me if this board feels the need to court the controversy surrounding transgender people's rights and open itself legally to the tenuous positions that we create the place for that would be its own Standalone thoroughly research and technically word impossible this is a feat the Pennsylvania housed and Senate fail to do with House Bill 972 was veto in July this board has some duty to encourage the success of every student and advocate for the opportunities that are available to them it seems more proven to avoid the ramifications of such a policy in favor of working collaboratively with the individual should the need arrive D instead of approving legally questionable

policies I would rather know the status of the ongoing Construction in the second half buildings the continuing president presence of contracts and subcontractors while students attend instruction presents a genuine risk are you keeping an accurate log of the individual individuals on site every day who have access to our students have these workers passed clearances and background checks in short have we vetted them with as much complete a library book thank you special to hearing I do need it because my voice is pretty bad so far you surely can't hear it back there can anybody hear me all right okay you know what give me that other mic that this is [Music] let me just stand over here absolutely thank you so much hey Merry Christmas everybody all right merry Christmas indeed um well I don't

know where to start uh but uh take a deep breath and just say you know what I read those 42 words it would be Bill tribute came to the meeting and other people did too it's amazing when you get when you read the paper I like to say this I also read the Readville tribute most recently a week or so ago when I saw that there was a hole a poll asking a community about how they felt about [Music] limiting materials in libraries seems to me that that poll resulted in a 74 percent age already of citizens in this community that that you know participate in the Meadville tribute for the restrictive of this kind of garbage in the libraries well let me just go back to what I was going to say you may

be thinking that I hear us problems but I'm not I'm here as a friend and as an ally and I think that if we want allies we need to stand up for what is right and when libraries contain subjects that sexualize children it's wrong just just political issue it doesn't matter what our sexual preference is it's just wrong I don't see how this is offensive to any good person um I I came to the meeting I read the policy I asked you have you it's reasonable it's good language this policy has been used uh in numerous school districts across the country in the last year and has been successfully implemented and has been rarely challenged same exact language are very very similar I am glad that the ALU ACLU is watching I'm glad I'm glad

the Nea is watching I'm glad that the gay lesbian group is watching watch this get passed could be passed five to four maybe six maybe seven now wouldn't it be great if that policy but he passed by eight to one power that's where I think we're at I am the Father the grandfather of penncrest students and alumni I am also the husband of an amazing woman and together we stand as supporters of these policies as protectors and Defenders of innocent children [Music] after attending the recent committee meeting and becoming aware of that Needville Tribune poll and articles I was prompted to come and share [Music] we have feelings about these issues we recognize that there is a need for men and women to stand up for their families to stand up for traditional Family Values

to stand up just for what is right and true a 74 of the Meadville Tribune readers indicated we have found through simple investigation using resources found at The District's website that this district has left the back door open the malicious actors that seek to sexualize Children through the library systems many titles many many titles that populate our bookshelves do violate our children's right to innocence and demonstrate inappropriate in objectionable material so tonight I'd like to commend these honorable men and women on this board as you seek to caress these paths packed wrongs and Implement measures that it will assure wholesome Library contact who among us could ever advocate for the sexualization of children it's not a political issue as I said it should be a consensus maker it should be a no-brainer once you become

aware of what is right underneath our noses I ensure that you as board members will be appalled and be embarrassed that we have invested hard-earned taxpayers money on the books that could only be categorized as smart you may be thinking that I'm exaggerating I noticed that he came in over there there is a no way yeah no way all right well in closing then Mr President I request that these reviews these reviews be entered into the record for this meeting and I was polite and you have not been thank you very much foreign [Applause] Township Maplewood School District some Geographics or on the ninth generation of my family to live on our farm my grandchildren are the 11th generation I have connection to this community for a long time a lot of people in this

school system do not and uh I'm pretty upset I answered uh the poll that Dan talked about I voted that uh it was a bad idea to sexualize our children in schools my daughter fell victim the sexualization uh campaign that went on in Maplewood she was encouraged by the former guidance counselor it was hidden and covered up from me by the school by the former superintendent and by several members of the staff and faculty there she is now cut her breasts off she grows a beard she is plagued with health problems when she has never been sick a day in her life okay she has alienated her entire family she's ruined her life she has been destroyed by Penn Chris school district and Maplewood school not this board I understand it's been a while I've

just found out more and more over the last year so what's going on I have written fruit right here it shows the cover-up started at least in September of 2015 by the Crawford County Career and vote Tech Center it was going on in Maplewood these books on the sexual perversions have no business in our library CRT has no business in our schools I'm tired of hearing about my toxic masculinity my horrible whiteness I'm tired of being told that little boys can be girls and little girls can be boys because they cannot there are two genders and God is real period and every time I hear something it's all this crap somebody wants to sexualize our kids they let them wear they dress like hoochie mamas out here in the school with the tight britches you

can see everything they got 12 year olds 14 year olds I've been to school to pick up my kid when I was in school he was not allowed to dress like that I grew up in Northern Kentucky where it was extremely conservative the tobacco belt we were not two inches above the knee you can't wear your shorts longer than that you're going to go home and you're going to change but now we have to put up with this garbage we have to tell people we have to express it from our own mouths that we believe this garbage the little boy is a little girl and her little girl is a little boy and now these children have ruined their lives how many of them I know at least three or four was going on while

my daughter was in school before I found out that my daughter was one of them it was covered up and when I went to a meeting and confronted the school the principal the assistant principal the former superintendent they doubled down on their efforts to conceal it from me and hide it from other parents this garbage has to stay out of our schools it has no business in our schools and anybody that would support it has no business being within a mile of a child and that's basically all I got before Brenda thanks speaker Brenda see if I can do this for the proverb the power of life and death is in the tongue and those who love it will get its fruit if you love perversion and you speak perversion you're gonna reap what you

sow thanks we have to watch what we say we have to watch what kind of words we feed our children would you talk like a pervert in front of your children no better not if you want your kids to grow up right words are powerful they can give life or destroy they can lift you up or weigh you down they can protect they can deceive they can equip you or disarm you alienate you create allies you don't go on hands or keys to a 12 year old and say hey you're doing take it no no you wouldn't you don't want to do this with these books either the 12 year old is not able physically emotionally mentally to take the responsibility on the driving the car neither are our children they are not equipped to

make the decisions they need to they might have all the gear but they're not equipped to make the decisions and understand the complications that come with confused emotions and sex means love and no it don't so these are these books are the words of a predator shock find out that Judy Bloom writes great books for little kids or so I think maybe I should go read them all wrote a book like this garbage I wouldn't let my 15 year old granddaughter much less anybody else read it these are words used by a predator to seduce groom if they talk to your kid your grandkid like that right now you'd be throwing their butt in jail but no they're going to use license and the law kind of to kind of squirt around the issue to

a child they don't understand we have to safeguard them we have to protect these kids don't let these guys these people under the guise of license and artistry get under the radar that's exactly what they're doing they're trying to raise our children's Curiosities that they might be able to be approached easily try this it'll be fun to remind me of sitting on the bus and hearing the boys Talk Dirty and you go home and you're like what was this all about but then you're curious it's it's not something that should be happening but we've let a little bit by little bit get through and now the dam wants to break and when the Dam breaks it's going to take every one of us with it we're not going to survive the country will go down

the tubes because the world is going down the tubes because some people are getting their way thank you for your time good evening folks do you like him if I had more time tonight I would talk about both policy 109.2 and policy 123. since I don't I'm going to focus on policy 109.2 libraries are supposed to have a wide variety of materials to stimulate growth in factual knowledge said materials should be chosen to represent diverse points of view on all topics blatantly obvious that this is your not so sneaky way of making it easy to ban books that fall into the lgbtq plus category just as some of you suggested doing after a contractor leaked a photo of a book display last May by destroying the literature we love you are decimating our existence in

previous meetings that I've attended a Bible verses mentioned at least once in the citizens comments your grounds for Banning lgbtq plus books is that they are sexually explicit and inappropriate for young minds however the Bible is one of the most sexually explicit books that I've ever read it is Rife with sex rape and incest most of these acts done by the Bible's holiest men I'm not going to quote them due to the fact that they aren't appropriate for those under 18 and may trigger survivors of sexual assault your opposition to its Banning is promotion for those very sinful Deeds it also goes against your reasoning for Banning lgbtq plus books you may not remember but a lot of classic books used in high school classes contain some mention of sex such as Romeo and Juliet

Gulliver's Travels The Odyssey Ulysses and The Catcher in the Rye book Banning has been around since the 1600s the majority of the time it is done because it goes against the person who's trying to ban the book's views it is also done to silence victims of racism homophobia transphobia Etc they're trying to erase history so that the students only learn what they want them to learn thus white watching history before you think of passing policies such as 109.2 122 and 123 as well as the others I would like you to keep in mind what is happening in Central Bucks School District the district is inviting lawsuits and lots of funding with policies such as these the ACLU said it well these are children who need support not more trauma we also hope that the adults

who are perpetuating such disgusting toxic and discriminatory policies come to their senses and do the right thing if not they should stay out of school administration and policy making they are unfit to have power over the lives of children I'd like to leave you with a quote by one of my favorite authors Lori house Anderson censorship has nothing to do with protecting children it has to do with protecting adults who don't want to have difficult conversations with those children [Applause] Ryan good evening Mr President thank you for the opportunity to speak I'm going to pick up that bible and read it to you right now I'm going to open with Luke 17. where it says offenses will certainly come but woe to the one through whom they come it would be better for him if

a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea then for him to cause one of these little ones to stumble be on your guard if your brother's sins rebuke him and if he repents forgive them and if he sins against you seven times in a day and comes back to you seven times saying I Repent you must forgive him I'm hearing some amazing claims tonight I'm hearing that those of us who might read the Bible and promote such beliefs beliefs that were intact in the founding of this nation beliefs that were represented in all of the founding documents of this nation that there is a God in heaven that his son Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead and sits in heaven and rules over us

that these types of claims that this nation were founded on claims that allow us to govern ourselves and maintain Liberty as an ideology and theirs isn't are you kidding me I have some quotes for you uh the most quoted author and the education colleges of our land of the United States is Paulo Ferrari let me read you a quote from Paulo Ferrari's book The pedagogy of the oppressed I'm sure many of you have heard of them especially since some of you espoused his beliefs and the Revolutionary process this is how we're supposed to teach children in a revolutionary process there is only one way for emerging leaders to achieve authenticity they must die in order to be reborn through and with the oppressed Christianity teaches that we must die to our sins and be reborn

through and with Jesus Christ you tell me that there's not an ideology what they're teaching here I have uh amazingly heard the claim that the First Amendment needs to be enacted I don't have the I'd love to do a publicly moderated debate where I can prove to you that this is a religion that they are teaching those of us who stand on the side of Truth recognize that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the light we recognize that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom we are here to teach children we are here to love children this Bible contains stories about sexual activity it has verses in it that says things like sexual immorality shall not even be named among you and yet I've heard disgusting Words which I won't

even repeat about sex tonight I know that they teach that uh toys and other means of having sexual perverse ideas are taught in these books they're promoted in these books and they're being taught in school classrooms first of all I want to thank all of you on the board who believe in God and want to uphold the truth here those words are written for you those words are written for you who don't believe in God you will be judged it would be better for you if a millstone were hung around your neck than if you promote the sexualization of our children the First Amendment for real Christians invented that Clause that was a Reformation idea because the state and the church are two separate spheres of government and they ought not to mix the church

should not execute people the state should not excommunicate people that's the whole point in this land we have religious liberty which is what the amendment that was quoted states that we have the freedom to worship and practice our faith which is what we are doing so time fails me I'm going to close with this out of this book that's so horrible this is from First Corinthians 13. let's talk about it love is patient love is kind love does not envy is not boastful it's not arrogant it's not rude it's not self-seeking it's not irritable and does not keep a record of wrongs Love Finds no joy and unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth it Bears all things believes all things hopes all things endures all things thank thank you [Applause] any speakers not registered or

would like to address the board for two minutes our agenda items yeah come on up I just need your name and address for the record yeah I want to tell you I've done a deep dive into the books not impress as well as the other in Copper kinds districts I want to tell you I have read the excerpts from these books and they describe sexual acts very descriptive names things that you don't want to be because I when I read these I cried after doing it for so long I'm gonna tell you it's there go to bookbooks.org to find the book go to full software look up your school it's horrible and this is not education thank you [Applause] thank you in particular one of the things that I was unable to say the last

time that I was cut off in four minutes instead of five was just this that the athletic policy that has also been proposed which is quite important is necessary to protect women's sports necessary to protect women's sports this policy is is common sense you know um many people say follow the science follow Anatomy follow biology follow physiology follow um engineering mechanics and you will find that the uh the structures of the human body of the opposing Sexes are so drastically different that it would be totally unfair to these women that stood here today and and that were state champions in volleyball that could be easily crushed by biological men uh transgender it into women or whatever however you would say it they would physically Crush these girls in competition that's why it's unfair that's why

the policy is legitimate thank you [Applause] there's another session for individuals to speak at the end of the meeting we're going to move on right now and go through our agenda items and again there is one registered speaker and you can speak again for two minutes at the conclusion of our meeting prior to court of Marx gonna start with the education report item a b a athletic travel oh so move thank you the animal must have been the second discussion St Patrick album progressing team had their opening scrimmage the other night and we have more wrestlers than schools three or four times our time any anybody else told us in favor of the emotions say aye aye aye objections and we recommend approval of student travel as listed Cambridge Springs High School chorus to Warren

for the district course concert we have Motion in a second discussion questions if not all in favor and say aye aye approved facilities and transport item a resolve the board directors approved strong land roofing system alternate one bid for Cambridge Springs High School roof project in discussion uh I I have one thing to say okay uh the last movie Project the moment the cheapest bid and quite honestly um Mr Johnson you're here all the time but uh we have several weeks with this route this route it's not all that all that and Mr LoJack before we awarded the bid was here and told us that the people that were doing it everything that was going to go wrong the flashing and stuff uh I've said this in the past I'll say yeah and they can't

save taxpayers money but the job is not done right we didn't save any money the job is not done right on this building I will not approve these ones I mean I'm only one person I'm just telling them I'm not I'm tired of going with the cheapest of the chicken that's what we can get every time 30 years so they commit to fixing anything right is that comparable to every other depending on what kind of Roof System you want to go with the modified build up stress apply letters versus The tpdf Players you know now you know the concerned it could help they do want to come up here so we can hear you the spec is the spec so you know guarantee the 30 years Etc yeah so the group was done this summer

it's December and they still have their names wow great great outfits out there okay any other discussion okay uh would you like a real cold not the same name would say I and those are against their name so guys please all right all right hey yes yes Please Mr Rose yes all right yes Instagram no okay here we go oh Mr Johnson no Mr Lynch decisive right now is there any direction from the board of what you'd like us to do well I'm not playing Transportation I just voice black opinion you've been in charge of plan Transportation but you guys you guys allowed a lot of stuff there's a whole list of stuff we're going to go Raptors I mean that the balls are safe but I'm extremely upset about this Planet transportation has not

done a good job but the roof has been leaking here and buckets in the front office the Market's another part of the school it may be guaranteed but if they don't come back we spent millions of dollars on these buildings keep our kids warm safe and dry I don't think we're doing that great so you guys set the direction you're you're the president vice president you're ahead of plant transportation but I'm saying the cheapest is not always the best I want some sort of guarantee when these people leave here is done right this coming back will fix this we'll do that no it doesn't off work I don't care who you are it doesn't work Johnson you can't forget a committee meeting together and move forward all right as soon as possible thank you absolutely

yeah I'm not do I want to I want to confer one way or the other before we vote and it seems like the whole board is kind of in that same direction or most of the board so that's just for are you sure all right um I just want to make sure that they're done they leave this place certainly and and we can have the letters responsible better come in we can have Garland come back in so I'm going to skip Item B we're not going to warn the the roof we might not buy the materials unless you want to buy the materials all right we're going to move a diet and see uh resolve that we approve the listed contracted student transportation divers second I have a motion on the second and the discussion

on this motion okay if not only be able to say hi hi resolve the penncrest board of school directors approved the attached parent provided Transportation agreement second and discussions it's not only embarrass the eye of the ocean all right Finance report item a result of the pen Chris Board of school directors approved the attached treasurer's reports solo second my emotion have a second discussion if not all in favor of say aye aye suggestions Board of School director of recruit payment the attached disbursements thank you on the second discussion dispensions if they're not going favors say aye aye no objections motion approved item C is resolved at the board of directors approved the attached lerta application for the filer's relish house we've been we've I'm not sure that this is a complete application for the lerta

um say aye aye all right we will get in touch with uh Byler and Township as well item d recommend the board of directors approve the resolution not to exceed the Act One index for 23-4 school year please explain to what the 5.8 percent is adjusted into US yeah act one is the state's measure of determining property tax increase um off of age inflation so the minimum or the maximum tax increase that the school can Levy is the base index plus whatever we get for the market value and proposal Aid index you know so that total for our district is 5.8 so pde's rate is 4.1 with the additional that we get it's up to 5.8 percent that we can raise in taxes so this resolution is stating that we are not going to go

above that amount okay so we would have to go above 3.1 mils which equates to 862 thousand dollars any other questions on that we do this every year yep and I understand the reason you pass Ed resolution is to affect the timeline for your budget hearing process under act one uh if you're going to consider taxes of being raised above the index your preliminary budget would have to be approved at least not the primary election uh past this resolution then you can follow the old section 687 procedures which allows for the preliminary budget to be improved in May in both cases the final budget is approved in June all right questions other questions aye objectives resolve the board of school districts approve to authorize the administrators Administration to advertising or otherwise request bids quotes for

product services to be purchased on the 23-4 fiscal year called bids and quotes are subject to board approval thank you it's actually good thank you thank you discussion questions I'd like to run the Personnel report a through G as a consent agenda item and I would ask the board to give you so any answer a question which you may have this day okay any questions on this shot all right all in favor of the recommendation from the uh Japan say aye aye any objections function approved on our new business I have also 707 use of facilities form I'm asking for approval to update the 707 form and Associated fees spoke about this I believe last month do we have a second sure yeah and your discussion on the 707. happens but then they can refresh

our memories or a quick question that was asked to ask for me today and I couldn't answer for sure but Blake would be uh PTO if they if they do but no no no there's not their classification I'm sorry I think they do I think they have gender MetroPCS have general liability insurance I can certainly all right any further discussion all in Bible say aye any objections Item B is a first reading policies there's several listed there I don't know if the board had an opportunity to read those that came out of committee and we can have a discussion at this time there's no approval and the perfect the purpose of advice the purpose of the first reading is to make sure that the directors and the public can get the chance to read them

and so maybe and it comes to help to the board then the work and this policies any questions even from the public yet that this stomach will accept that impression I don't need nuts please read read the proposed policies and submit your comments um a couple things that stood up from what I've learned from our speakers today the policies that we've lorded for in July promote the sexualization to Children um I didn't know that would come out of policy in July so current policy promotes sexualization to Children is that correct because alcohol from what I've heard from our speakers like 109.2 um that is when we voted on that that promoted the secularization of children is that right anywhere in there okay so then why do we change the policy four months later 109.2 we'll

start with one on 9.2 what happened in the last four months that we need to revise it and why don't we get it right the first time maybe advice and they realize it and this is why he's going for comments and approval next to you and what changed Professor president can I can I answer yeah please so a policy finish that up recall so obviously things change over time we have to address those things or things that we need to cover ground better on we go and then we're taking care of the the leadership of the school is directed well okay what specifically changed okay we need to revive a more online point two I'm not saying anything in the in this particularly change like I said you constantly review and address things as needed

and to give the directions the superintendent it's all Administration and because of nothing changed unanimous I gave you a wisdom of rules yes okay yes that gives permission to to answer your question thank you and that's it okay if you want me I can answer your number what do you find forward I'm asking why what happened we voted unanimousness of apology in July the voting unanimously for the policy correct hey and now we've changed it which is costing us time that's costing us money and it's costing us effort every second that we pay this solicitor or every second we have our superintendent working on these policies it costs us money and it costs us time that we could be spending on other things what change that we were spending our treasure on this versus doing

it correctly in July I understand this question let me answer number one the community decided that it's official to the to the party should be airing there was no clear no clear index was the policy is supposed to be we are here to protect our children yes you agree with that yeah thank you and and what's gate for it it's a specifically showing very clearly one material are allowed to be in the library all of you there is a stair law against against material that we we call like Atlantic glad miners access to that and we don't think anything up in jail if it is pornographic material in this Library so what I suggest to everybody check the law in Pennsylvania law there's no phonographic material allowed okay so for minors and that's the Pennsylvania

law 109.2 I just have the acquisitions section but uh section of approval down below this is acquisition materials added to collection there's a list of 11 uh number two is reputation and significance of I understand all that but who decides a it's a new author the Heavenly recipe ah number two's reputation and significance of the author who decides the reputation of the office uh if it's a new author gotta say what I'm saying there's going to be questions here you've got to be more specific on that thine is quality of writing and production who's going to decide that and love or I'm sorry 10 this quality of illustration there again no good inside that I mean I've seen some children's books by young authors that the illustration is not the best but they're still really

good book so you've got to be more specific on the inside well that's the only thing that I said that I'm putting out here so why would you really uh the absolute angle view selections of dollars in one or two 109.2 and the selection and approval tells you I did we used to who reviews that but how do we design professionals how you're opening yourself up that's all I'm telling you I don't care okay not very clear please make you comment that recommendations any other questions under uh superintendent so [Music] and and administer Ed would fall in accordance with this policy I don't know how we like attempt right it's a no it's an opening spot but I don't know how you close it there's only so much right I'm just saying that and I

know what you mean I don't I don't argue that but that's one of those points where I give that to the College I also have a question on why I don't think it's over in 1922. but we changed a lot of it from building principle to school principal we eliminate billing secretary to school secretary why did we why didn't you move D secretary but the only change is that in Greenville do you have oh yeah oh and that is in Korean it is ingredient correct I did not make it enough Luigi it's that's there that wasn't a recommendation it was in favor of everything from the seem to matter to me either way that it went well School impact school district exactly so knowing principle would be Matt Cairo second Town Elementary or you know

that's more specific to me that's my only I'm not going to argue oh no it's not an argument I just wondered why it wasn't more specific now it's more moving but that's all and uh well the other one I had time to read all these I was babysitting and the Devon typically so please read these policies and so we do comments before the next month until the board um oh I like the policy with the homelessness the updates yeah all right we're going to go for the next announcements that's just the format executive set for this meeting and we will continue after this meeting for personnel litigation negotiations brings us to uh citizens comments we have one registered citizen who'd like to make comments uh Etc should I use this one yes thank you okay

good evening I am here to honor longtime teacher and Union Union president Melissa statman who recently left the district Melissa did her student teaching at Maplewood she taught at Grove City for five years then spent a year teaching at the Britannica International School of Budapest Hungary before coming to Saegertown High School where she was my colleague for many years she taught many things physics chemistry Spectrum science forensic science stem mechanical engineering seventh grade stem eighth grade Integrated Science AP Computer Science science seven science eight earth science math 7 pre-algebra Algebra 1 Algebra 2 geometry trig pre-calculus AP Statistics and statistics she was also the advisor for Science Olympiad science bowl and Key Club through which she supervised many community service projects like share the warmth which purchased many hundreds of winter coats for SES students

her absolute favorite position with penncrest as she told me was as classrooms for the future technology integration coach at MHS this program embedded professional development in our classrooms to support teachers in making changes she noted that we need to have Tech integrators available again for our teachers to move forward her career with penncrest cyber Academy as Melissa said the first year the district felt we would be successful if we had 10 students we enrolled more than 30 then coveted and we were able to offer a virtual option to families during the pandemic today PCA has over 100 students that is in large part due to Melissa's tireless efforts in developing the program through it all she was a tireless advocate for teachers through her leadership of the paea penncrest area Education Association as well as

her involvement in PSA psea at the state level Melissa you will be missing thank you for your service to our community you are a champion of public education and you made penncrest a better place thank you thank you that would like to speak on agenda or non-agenda items you have two minutes come on I'm sorry I thought I didn't see you but come on sir anybody can come up right go ahead okay I'm just gonna get up and go all right thank you so um okay there we go I mean I guess I demonstrated I don't need the mic last time um hi you already know me I spoke earlier by the student representative from Saegertown but right now I am speaking on my own I'm wearing a shirt I apologize so every time I

come here I say I'm not gonna speak to the board I don't want to speak to the board I really don't I come here and oftentimes I do it as a press because that is a huge part of public speaking and it gives me valuable information just to be here in your presence but I never want to sit here and tell you that hey you're hurting your students but every time you were since represent us you could say you want the best for us you guys say you want to hear from us and oftentimes I feel there are only two people sitting at this table that actually do see us all right because look around gonna stop you for a second yeah we should do an items are used you say and non-agenda items when

I came out yes yes I have two minutes I don't remember when that timer started okay look around just how who are currently building still here that that volleyball team who did really good they left won a lot they didn't want to hear any of this they didn't want to hear the fact that some of the people in this crowd disrespect your students they say hey hey you know my kid chopped off their breasts one day and I agree we don't like that well I'm very sorry that you just like like that people are trans I'm very sorry but you know I'm sorry I'm getting ahead of myself here all right so there are no current students that I can recognize at least there might be one or two maybe but I can tell you

that your students are afraid to come up here and speak to you because they know you're not going to listen one minute okay thank you yes you listen to us yes you obviously see that I'm physically here but when I spoke to you last May about LGBT books and when I spoke again on the same issue regarding Banning books you're still trying to ban books why all right yeah you say hey there's pornographic things in our library there's pornographic things in our classical literature in the Bible which yes is in that book I've read it I've been a part of seven praise bands too sorry um yes there are stuff like that in classic literature and in our library but the fact that you are now revising a policy you already revised earlier this year

about pornographic images and stuff like that okay is that in my time thank you thank you come on Jim Drake and I'm a school bus driver for penncrest and my issue is the guys Mills to from the elementary of Maplewood to the high school I know you guys aren't the board of Transportation I don't know what kind of influence you have but I drive a bus on that road and with that huge farm and that Sawmill and the trucks and the bus is going both ways that road is too narrow it's bumpy it's the ditches fall off uh I happen to know the lady in Titusville who wrecked her bus last year because she got forced off the road by a log truck her right rear tire grabbed the ditch causing the bus to turn

and as you all know it rolled over and 15 kids were hurt including herself that road needs to be addressed and widened to at least four weight with not 77. the only reason you haven't had a bus Collision on that road with either one of those logging trucks or those big tractors and their door spreaders that smell so fragrant is you have professional drivers driving these buses but an accident is in your future I just felt that road needs to be addressed and I I know this is a school board but if you have any arm twisting with the state or local whoever controls that road I would appreciate if you guys would say hey our bus drivers and I'm not speaking for all of them but I know several of them could come here

and say what I'm saying of all of our roads that road is the most dangerous Highway that we travel add a little rain a little fog a little snow disasters on the horizon towards the township it's the guys Mills from Townville to to the high school maybe go to bed I I just turned around the high school go back to the elementary four times a day yeah Windows farm that big Sawmill down there across from Kennedy welding those guys and and quite frankly just other buses coming other ways the road is too narrow it's too narrow and it's uneven the buses Rock it's just it's a very it's a Hazard waiting to happen I'm trying to do whatever we can thank you [Applause] agenda non-agenda items I just want to point out under this Commonwealth

of Pennsylvania Law as well federal law child abuse is defined as fabricating painting or intentionally exaggerating or inducing a medical symptom or disease which results in a potentially harmful medical evaluation or treatment causing or substantially contributing to serious mental injury to a child do any act failure to act or series of such Acts or failures to act uh causing bodily injury to a child through an act or a failure to act and uh obscenity is not first amendment Amendment protected it is banned to be transferred to minors the transfer of the same material to minors or the attempted transfer of obscene materials to minor is prohibited by both state and federal laws so like a less than a minute [Applause] all right last week you're going up so um about so-called protecting women in sports

um the thought itself without even getting into the science that women need to protect be protected that goes back to The Stereotype that they are weak and they need male protection going into the science I myself am a trans man biologically female if that's what you want to call me go ahead I've been taking testosterone since ninth grade so if I wouldn't have transferred out of the school for incredible bullying I would have been playing on the female soccer team according to this policy and with the amount of testosterone that I take I would have a ginormous advantage over all of those women with the transgender females Forest most of you would like to say the males that take estrogen they are testosterone levels lower and their estrogen levels are at the level of a

biological female every biological female has testosterone in them some of them have higher levels like those with PCOS things like that but with the Trans females their estrogen levels are at around the same level as a biological female and then with younger kids who are on hormone blockers they don't get those heightened um levels of testosterone or estrogen there's they're still at the level of a prepubescent child so putting them in the sport as their sign sex at Birth would be thank you [Applause] right thank you all right uh it's been an interesting evening which I figured it would be but uh thank you everybody for coming and I know we have a lot of policies and no matter what we do not everybody's gonna agree but our stance has to be Children First and

I know a few of you are going to say they're doing all that but it really is we have to look at the children of the law uh and I guess where I look at it if you're more concerned about the sexual content of a book in the library over the basic education of children that lies the first problem the second problem is if you have a person with knee issues trained I don't even know how to say it properly but to trans form male to female or vice versa or homosexuality or whatever it may be I really don't want a book in the library being professional help I'm not saying anything bad by that because you're professionals out there to help you can help you deal with the school library in my eyes should

not be that fun I know some people are going to hate on me for this and that's why I don't think so but we've been seeing it in this country in the past few years and it is but uh yeah they're testosterone level might be close to same but a biological man is stronger they have bigger lungs they have bigger part they are strong I don't care how you but the size that we've prove it uh and for the safety of the women and I am protecting women's votes I am I have three daughters and one granddaughter soon maybe another one but let me tell you I will do what I can to protect my grandkids and my brothers their safety is Mike top priority and I do not want them to go through what's

going on today in this country especially if there is somebody that says they're a female and they go into the locker room and they still have male genitalia that's not right I don't care you can say what you want it's not right so if anybody I'm going to move off from that because there's going to be more discussion but now for anyone that does not like this board or our decisions or what we do I think Mr Patrick said it earlier February 14 2023 you can start collecting signatures for getting on the ballot of the school board I think the paperwork won't be able or you can't pick that up until I think she said the end of January 1st February which cannot start getting signatures anywhere it won't be after that I recommend that

you run Democrat and Republican if you just do one or the other you're not going into a fair will at all but if you are a Democrat and when you get your signature you lose Republican you have to have somebody who the Republican do that thing they haven't been with me and vice versa the Republican you have to do the same you have to have the Democrat do that for you I will tell you you're going to run for school board make sure your t's across your eyes are dotted make sure the addresses are correct make sure everything's the same because Luigi will be down at Courthouse going through every single signature if they're not right you will get you off the ballot for taking the court that's happened uh and after that like I

said I'd love to see 20 people on this board I know we will never all agree but and one thing that was said I was going to let this go but I'm not I read that policy 109.2 several times today there was nothing in there against any lgbtq whatever it is now uh homosexual anything like that we have not said that and I've said I've so fast I don't I don't care what your sexual intelligence you are out here which is religion is I don't care if you're a student in this in this in this history I understand with you no matter what I won't agree with you but I will support you you're getting bullied we need to know about it somebody said that we were against that that I I for me that

that's not true in that kind of hit me a little deep there so I appreciate you thinking about the way you say to things because you're wrapping everybody in the same and uh and to uh Mrs Miller working with staff and students and everything is still here oh yeah uh I think that's a wonderful idea I think that's something that's really seriously start with doing even if you want to make you try it in the past and quite awesome he was opposition it didn't work with so maybe we can make it happen uh Hey last but most important let's have a Merry Christmas and celebrate the birth of our savior everybody have a happy holidays thank you very much um first of all it was great to have an update from all three schools it's

fantastic to get these updates from the kids and know what's going on in the school um it's super impressive that um Shield was here with six six times the champion you think you think about the how one school in the middle of an old cow pasture contained guys now has produced six state championship team you look around the rest of the district we don't have a lot of other state championship teams um the amount of time and work and dedication and focus that has to be a champion is something that we can all learn from um the mayboard update we could hear and a lot of this stuff came up maybe would be good on their football everything Davis it wasn't all region football I don't know if anyone up here knew her or not

amazing thank you yes so Mason Davis second team second thing so um and in regard to all these things I think that these policies were were good when we have I know that there's a lot of people here that think that the government's role is to over regulate micromanage the thing that I like about the policy in particular is our library books is there's an appeal process and I keep hearing these horrible books are in the library but we're not getting them up but there's horrible book in the library I prefer for the people to appeal it and follow that process and then get it out of the library versus us trying to change every two months our policy um the original policy is fine I know that I'm going to be painted to you

know I am all for sexualization I'm for the people sitting here to read something read the entire book and then come up with their own decisions on it versus us as the government saying we're from the government we know what's best for you people um that's where that's where I stand on this it's really a false argument to say that if if I support the old polish and we all voted for that then that means that I support the sexualization in children I find that to be alone um and I know that was going to come um I'm not surprised that we continue with Mr D Francesco as president looking at this meeting the level of confusion to disrespect the favoritism or certain people talking versus other people it's it's not surprising that's what we

want as an elected official we voted for that and that's the rule the people so I support that um and then you know the bus route I don't know what we can do about the bus route I do know that particular stretch of of Road a kid that I I know that he passed away during summer school there um driving too fast driving somewhere on a tree um you know I don't know if that's it's not a state highway there so I don't know exactly the jurisdiction is but we can reach out and find who it is and advocate for it and I think we can do that um and again as we head into the holidays say hello to your family and those that you love football a little bit on to that about

that road too actually my daughter was in it's very slippery in that spot initially I would like to direct the latest we hold it by my Crowley interview which asked our community the question do you agree with the others to remove or restrict Ed children in schools and libraries and the response from this community was an overwhelming yes at a whopping 74 percent to keep in mind I commend Mr valeski for his diligence reflecting the values of this community by putting forth a new policy that would remove the many obscene books that keep similar books out of the schools be positive for the penncrest community another positive is the efforts put forth by counselors Miss Allen and Mrs Mogul in not only identifying but also meeting with each senior that may qualify for the Hagin

scholarship that I mentioned at the last meeting that was a total of almost 60 of our seniors I'm praying that we see the scholarship awarded to these high achieving students and finally as we wind down 2022 I want to encourage all of us to continue the work on the board of pursuing many more positives in 2023 foreign proud of you but I wanted to thank Mrs Miller too for stopping by and I love who she said we're reminded especially through Sports in our district what a psychic Community we are we tend to be very support Ive support we talk about policies we talk about things that are hard to discuss and I hate I hate to hear anybody who say well we just we just go why are we discussing it again we is individual

as a community as a school district should be constantly looking to grow constantly asking what we can change what can be better what we need to do where we stay the idea that the teacher can be involved with that these are the people that see our students that we can't have a working relationship with our teachers and so I really like the idea that we as a board to try to reopen that communication for a long time to support that in any way that we can to have you involved and have that opening times we see on that Merry Christmas we have a safe holiday excuse me I'd like to also thank the student Representatives heartening to us to hear those students on what's Happening they always give us their point of view together too

young that we're nominated congratulations hopefully you're futures congratulate that's awesome I don't know maybe we've been spread spreading calendar the area out there I don't know maybe we might have to do it around here fertilize these he gets here because I don't know why uh as far as the policies everything's continually has passed around to build those and that stuff should not be at our schools teach the kids Reading Writing arithmetic math science history and what have you we need to focus on that I mean just at the last meeting got an update and we're still down below and we spent thousands of dollars for new curriculum hopefully to bring that up is Dr glass ball had showed you believe it was a 10-year goal I said it's not good enough we need to have

a goal and continually going up and up and up I think we could get there again uh finally I'd like to wish everybody a Merry Christmas have a safe holiday enjoy your family thank everyone for coming tonight just a few things I want to hit on um I'll be really quick because I'm tired of sitting here and I think everyone else is due at this point um but the first thing is um Mrs hetrick said that the board has an agenda she referred a couple times here a little bit ago and I would like to say I do have an agenda I can't speak for the whole board but that's to make sure the education is its best in our district and to make sure that we're teaching truth and that we're going to uphold

moral values I'd like to read something short out of Webster's 1828 dictionary he defined to educate as this to bring up to bring up as a child to instruct to inform to Enlighten the understanding to instill into the Mind principles of Arts science morals religion and behavior to educate children well as one of the most important duties of parents and Guardians we need to make sure the truth is upheld and that we are not leading children astray these policies stand on their their own I don't need to hold truth out and the other thing is with policy 109.2 I have a list of books here in my hand if anyone would like to look at them of books that are in our libraries that promote this garbage an absolute trash to students lastly I'd like

to thank or wish everyone a Merry Christmas and celebrating the hope that's come to this world Jesus Christ Our Savior the saved a Wretch like Me foreign [Applause] has to be done and get on the board as of today I'm resigning I'm moving out of the district I'll be out of my house by the end of the month or so I'll still be available for if anything more I think that I no longer will live here I need a longer serve eye-opening experience the way things are run the school district and just the policies that have changed and planes just nobody's ever happened we changed our curriculum to something new hopefully it'll work out and bring our scores up because our scores pretty sure pretty much all I have to say thank you for your

money foreign [Applause] just a quick comment um I appreciate all uh I'm on the board but there is a school policy zero zero four membership which outlines the process we will follow that process beginning tomorrow my just looking at the quick calendars 30 days and pretty much tomorrow we do have a meeting on January 12th I believe which is a Monday it's a work session meeting I hope you can have a decision by that January 12th and vote of memory so that that's that's my work so we're going to start one once you get started and you start January 12th if you go to men we're going to have to have some kind of a meeting because right when you want to start sending resumes so we're going to get it on the web tomorrow

all right sorry okay I guess it's my turn well first I'd like to uh good give it to everybody some background that I have I was the a child of 10 children my father was not here I'm working individual definitely not um in alcoholic to beat up his wife or his kids for the wisdom bringing that up is that I was the only male out of the ten children for years I didn't have nobody ever mentioned my sex I was or what are my sisters were and I didn't know well we were not really a welcome to the family especially when you have 10 kids it's pretty hard to have anything so they only had down that I used to get was my sister's dresses well that didn't make me wearing my sister's dresses a

female and nobody ever talked about those years between all this new terminology that came out learn the way and I think it was since I didn't even know what transgender really meant but anyway it's happening so through the years you know I used my whatever Mother Nature gave me and my sister did the same thing without any questions but better than that what I'm getting now is this when a baby is born when the human is born the only thing he has in his brain it's an interesting to survive so the only thing the child needs and wants is food so they can survive okay to learn what's going on around them from the adults and as they grow to the point they alert that they acquired a lot of Knowledge from their parents caring

parents and and it comes to a point where the child who starts school all of a sudden a child most precious possession of adults is the Czech children and they hand in the child to School they spending more time in schools to understand with their parents unfortunately they asking parents that desire to to raise their children full-time and makes a burden on the family especially nowadays because in order to survive you need two incomes Sean goes to school and he starts learning the child's brain is just like a computer hard drive there's nothing there so the adults hold information into this into this child now I want to read the section of the Pennsylvania law about academic standards of planning section before 0.11 be safe public education prepares students for adult life by attending to

their intellectual and developmental needs in challenging them to achieve until the highest level possible in conjunction with famous another Community institutions public education prepares students to become self-directed lifelong Learners and responsible involved citizens and that ladies and gentlemen is what public schools are for and seems to me that for some reason school boards allow the formation of clogs groups extra critical activities which is fine but curriculum is planned by the professionals and of the other demonstration and presented to the boards for approval and detected the professional can teach these students is what's in the curriculum anything else outside the curriculum then it's personal and and mainly we have to be very careful what information do we have put into these children's computer yes I know we can do better if we emphasize the educational children

to the academics and the economic stance is very clear and no way in here says that we that we have to teach anybody else any any of our students things outside what's in here of this law and students in this and and then the other point I have to that I like to make is that all our students until 10th grade level grade they're all minors miners which are protected by law no miners can decide what to do with their lives or the body without their preparedness permission and nobody else is allowed to convince a child anything outside why the parents want them to be no one will and his father is his policies policies any board can change them anytime they they feel necessary to change them and they are the purpose of the

policy is to protect our students and all minors and the law protects more than we do such a thing we still have to go through still have that students or adults they like to bully our students and that has to stop I read some information that NASA says it is related to the Bollywood and that can be medically corrected a narcissist that love to pick on the individual destroying their character spread the lies in the windows and nonsense so one emphasize that our job is a board it's an education it's a requirement of all for our students the welfare area and we do it and the schools to do more than just the educate the kids you know that's why we have sports that's why we have programs like music [Music] and the way I

was trying to do better and and better can be done there is not my recommendation is to those that wants to comment about these policies please mention describing cycling where this board is discriminated against anybody that's why I'm concerned that there's no discrimination against anybody if any age students and minor students with the permission of our parents who want to be something else that is well that's fine that's America but the decision does is not dependent on people outside the families to convince students if they can change in anything they want and another thing I'd like to bring to your attention to Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania there is a law to change sex and requires that an individual has to be 21 years old and for the for the less than two or two years has

to live a life it's the sex that they want to and then they go before a judge and they'll prove it but they have to prove that they are adults and therefore the last two years they'll live the sex they prefer so you know Pennsylvania as Lewis doctor thanks everybody and allows believe or not anybody to to do whatever they feel like the way and without us listen please take a seriously and comment you comment that we're tag edited we'll be together Santa comes to the superintendent of the secretary of the board and they will make sure that every board member will get it and then regarding Mr Brooks yes yes we can always do better thank you thank you what's up I'm sorry oh I'm sorry what you hadn't changed okay only fair to

a German say I I guess thank you
