001Hello clockers. My name is Hi Silver with WACA and today I'll be bringing you a brief summary of the Ashlin Town Manager newsletter. The annual town election nomination papers available. Nomination papers are now available in the town clerk's office for the May 19th, 2026 annual town election. Several positions will be on the ballot, including select board, school committee, library trustee, board of health, and planning board. The deadline to return completed papers is Tuesday, March 31st at 5:00 p.m. The Ashlin 2026 rain barrel program. Ashlin's 2026 rain barrel program is officially underway. Residents can purchase discounted rain barrels for $75 to $79. A great way to conserve water and even lower your water bill. Orders must be placed by April 5th with pickup happening April 14th at the DPW. Decisions at every turn. Enewsletter. Ashlin's Prevention

002Coalition, Decisions at Every Turn, is inviting residents to sign up for its e newswsletter. The volunteer-based group works to reduce youth alcohol and drug use through education and community partnerships. The newsletter includes updates on programs, local resources, and prevention efforts happening right here in town. Love Local Ashlin rebrand. Ashlin's local business support page has a new look and a new name. Now called Love Local Ashland, formerly known as Ashlin Bisbuzz, the Facebook and Instagram pages highlight local businesses, upcoming events, and special deals. It's another way to stay connected and support businesses in the community. Town job openings and volunteer opportunities. The town of Ashlin is currently hiring for several positions, including light equipment operator, public safety dispatcher, and local building inspector. There are also open seats on several boards and committees for those looking to

003get involved. You can find more details on the town's website. Community shoutout, Ski Club Chaperones. A big thank you this week to Ashlin Ski Club Chaperones. Their time and dedication help keep students safe and make the program possible. The town says the program simply couldn't happen without them. for upcoming town meetings. There will be several town meetings coming up, including the conservation commission, zoning board, and planning board. Meetings are held at town hall or remotely and can be viewed on WACA TV. Agendas are posted at least 48 hours in advance. Town manager coffee hours. Residents are invited to attend the town manager's monthly coffee hour. The next one is scheduled for February 18th at the Ashlin Community Center. It's a chance to ask questions, share concerns, and connect directly with town manager Michael Herbert. Friends

004of the library book sale. The Friends of the Ashlin Public Library will host their annual book sale March 6th and 7th. Books will be available for as little as $1 with proceeds supporting library programs. The sale will take place at the Ashlin Public Library. Senior Center Clocktown Memory Cafe. The Ashlin Senior Center is launching the Clocktown Memory Cafe starting February 24th. The monthly gathering offers live entertainment and a welcoming space for individuals living with memory challenges and their care partners. It will be held every fourth Tuesday.
