001and throw and throw it. >> Hey everybody, we're here tonight at Ashlin Middle School for wrestling match where Ashlin Clockers are going to take on the Hopkin Hillers. But tonight's a special tonight. Tonight is coaches versus cancer. Uh it's a very um big program that that the uh the rest of the community has put on and we have with us here today longtime friend Aaron Williams >> who's kind of managing this from the Ashlin side. and I just thought we'd take a moment to hear from Aaron about what the uh coaches versus cancer is um and how you can participate. >> Yeah. Well, um thanks for having me, George. Uh I'm the mom of a a junior on the varsity squad. Um my family has been very impacted by cancer. Lost my mom in 2012. Um grandmother, great-grandmother. I had a 90-year-old grandmother survive pancreatic cancer. Um and it's just it's impacted our family so much. So, um, it's been an honor and a joy to work with Jesse Carner, who you'll speak to shortly, um, in putting this event on. Cancer's impacted the wrestling community specifically in Ashlin and Hawking significantly. Jesse can go into more detail on that. And so, we take the opportunity, you know, there's always such a big rivalry between Ashlin and Hawkington. We know what the Thanksgiving game is like. We know what any sport is like when we go against the Hillers. So taking all the momentum and the energy around that and putting it to such a good cause. >> Yeah. The fact that Ashlin and Hton can come together for something means it's pretty important. Yeah.
