001Heat. Heat. [music] >> [music] [music] >> Hey clockers, my name is Holly Silver with WAC. CA. Today I'm bringing you a brief summary of the Ashlin Town Manager newsletter. So, illuminate downtown Ashlin took place on December 13th. The streets were transformed [music] into a festive celebration of art, music, and community. [music] So many local businesses and spaces open their doors to host visual and performing arts with glowing luminaries. Music filled the streets throughout the evening with performances by local musicians and the Ashlin High School choir. It was such a great atmosphere and I hope you enjoy some of the footage. Now here is what went down at each of our local businesses during the [music] event. So, at Anory's Dance Center, they hosted the event launch, which was awesome. [music] Um, there were performances by
002the movement project, teen dancers, and there was community art projects on display as well. The corner spot had a cozy gathering with fire pit and s'mores, and it featured Bright Lights community art project. The Ocean House had an international string trio performance. Wow. There was also tea service provided by Ashland is United [music] for the bagel table. There were additional performances by the movement project, the [music] teen dancers, and there was free hot chocolate for attendees as well. The Federated Church of Ashland had a the Ashan High School chorus performed twice and there was a serene musical experience for all visitors. [singing] [music] >> The Subzero Ice Cream had live guitar and vocals by the Cardinal and also had ornament decorating and ice cream treats. [music] Blush Bouquets had o was open for local shopping
003and there was also a live acoustic [music] performance by guitarist RD King. [music] >> [music] [music] >> Ashlin Raiki and wellness had a mystic magic illumination room with live piano by Zia Kashwan. Also, refreshments and extended shopping hours were going on. For [music] Nick's Pizza, there was free caricature portraits by artist Jerry Shippy and Pizza by the Slice for all who came out. [singing] [music] I Clover Road Brewery had piano sing along to close out the night and provided a place to relax, connect, [music] and enjoy drinks. And last, but certainly not least, Needam Bank. Need bank is always at the heart of Ashland's downtown celebrations [music] and Illuminate Ashlin was no exception. There was a complimentary wine tasting as well as appetizers [music] and also live music by Boston Classical Jazz Group. Thank you

I also have been told that there were sightings of the Grinch at this event [music] and he was spotted spreading playful holiday mischief throughout downtown.
