We will meet on Wednesday and the survey information all went out. a lot of information back from staff and that's all staff support ESP I mean it's everybody >> um certified um but not so much public there's like what I say a little over 110 responses >> what time is your committee meeting >> 4:30 >> four >> yeah I took off at 3:30 >> yeah four >> four >> okay >> um and what we'll do is we'll review the data um and then the groups will get together with their represent representatives that they have. Um, and then we'll meet almost weekly after that until you're ready to approve the calendar. >> That's really it. Real quick, I promised you guys a report

on the building stuff. We had met with the architect last week. Mike came from high school. Roberto and I, we brought a representative with him. The architect did also. So, Mike had a homework assignment. He got that done the day on. It's going to be a little longer to get a proposal together for you guys, but that's going on in the background just so you guys know. >> Okay. >> Because we originally said we'd have something today. >> Yeah. I was hopeful to have something today. >> It's very possible the architect wants to come and meet you guys to make sure that he tries to clarify because this is a very complicated deal when we start doing little peaceful stuff that we're >> he might be at the next board meeting. >> So, think of

maybe. >> Yes. >> And this is the same group that came to present to us before. Okay. All right. Any other thing to report? >> Um the literacy grant. You see the budgets there. Um the leads that are on the there's so there's a literacy grant our literacy team. There's seven of us I believe >> um that are doing a lot of the behind the scenes work. Um and they will come and present at the next board meeting. Um all that what it all entails for us over the next >> year for sure. >> All right. Moving on to 7.1 the consent. >> Could I ask you something on board discussion items? >> Yes. >> Um I was just curious you had sent out a a memo a email reminding us of our board responsibilities.

I was just curious why that was sent out. Is there a reason for that? Yes. But we'll talk a little later about that like to unless you guys want to talk to exact talk about that. >> Yeah. >> And is this where you wanted to pull out action items? >> Yes, I do. I was just going to go into the action items first. I um I need to hold item. It's the section I on volunteers and substitute. I need to pull item three. I would like to recuse myself from that. Um if anybody would like to recommend to approve the consent agenda at this time, they may do that, but I'll just pull that one and then we can vote on that one separate. I have to recuse. >> Yes. >> You would like to

make motion to approve the consent agenda by Chris? >> I'll second. Second by Amanda. >> Yes. Yes. >> Yes. >> Okay. So, moving on to 7.2. >> Oh, no. All in favor say I. >> I. >> Yes. Yes. >> Motion car. Thank you. 4 Michelle. Um, moving on to 7.2. It's recommended that to add the following schoolboard policies as submitted. Um, these are all changes that um came with some new rags from for criminal background checks. It was stuff that we didn't even have. So, >> reading on the purchasing ch um Is there still a requirement for three quotes

over $10,000? >> It's actually different than that. >> What is it now? >> What this policy? Well, >> there's a bid process. First of all, 50,000 and over. Um below that, it's even below $10,000 per our schoolboard policy. We're still actually getting quotes. >> Okay. >> Um I believe that policy is at 5,000 right now. I'd have to double check. >> Right through. Now, this this policy very specifically here goes back to the ESSER funding and all the various rules that while the school district followed, we didn't have a school board policy. >> So, for an audit that just got completed, this was the only binding there was was in order to get this into schoolboard policy. >> Okay. Just I was reading through it fast and I just didn't see any number of quotes

that they used to do like a federal policy. Anyway, that was a question. >> Okay. Um Okay. Moved by Mark. >> Second by Chris. All in favor? >> Yes. >> I'm moving down to 7.3. Recommendation to delete the following schoolboard policies as submitted. The GDB E1, GDB E2, and the GD GCDB memorandum. I was going to say we just don't need them. >> Second by favor. >> Okay, moving on to um we need to have executive session tonight for South Dakota codified law 12521 on personnel.
