We'll say pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence. >> Joanne Reed, will you lead us in the pledge of allegiance? She's like, "Huh?" Ju just start saying it. Just start saying it. You'll be fine. To the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. We'll stay standing for a moment of silence. All right, please be seated. Citizen comments. We only have two citizens. >> Y'all got comments? >> You got You got comments? No. I'm going to get in trouble for start. [laughter]

>> You did a great job. >> Sorry. I've been in trouble before. [snorts] >> Shocker. All right. I guess we go ahead and move on to business [clears throat] recommended action items. And so if I recall that original bid was much higher than that, correct? >> It was a about $162,000. So what we did is uh I know Mr. Benjamin has been with me on both meetings. We went through, we uh had an initial meeting to share with uh Mr. Brian Williams [snorts] what our needs are and areas to consider, type of fabric, the grade, the level, the durability. And so he went back and he based on

our input, he did redevelop that. He brought it back to us, brought us samples. We had all the interior uh samples [snorts] of the flooring, the walls, everything of the fieldhouse itself that's underneath Chris Woods. And then we aligned it [snorts] going through every area as I call it uh in consideration of what it will be used by is called BO S's. And so we need durability because >> Yes, you do. Yes, you do. I want it uh where we can have this for a long term and sustain it and our investment was the goal. And so Scott and myself, we looked at every aspect of that colors, making sure everything blends and even how the um wheels, no wheels, all that. That's taken in consideration, how it fold up and how it be stored,

>> just every aspect of it. So, um I was very pleased. Of course, this is on the Omnia contract which allows us to uh receive the best price. >> I didn't forget, but thank you. >> Um before the board has comments, we'll take a motion and a second. >> Motion >> To approve. Y >> and second. Perfect. >> Uh do you have questions for the superintendent? >> There are in your packet you'll see the layout. I'll simply say you guys always do your due diligence. You always do such a good thorough job getting >> all of the things and saving all of the money and um you guys really pretty much always think of everything. So kudos to you guys. >> Well, I was glad we had input and I think it makes it a

great partnership when we collaborate and everybody's in the know of the rationale behind a lot of it. Joe, what's our time frame on this? If we we're if we approve this tonight, >> it's a it's a 6 to 8 week lead time. So that's why it was essential to have this meeting tonight.
