If the call perfect center no longer uses the property and all that motion for approve second >> have a motion and a second to approve the budget committee report. Any discussion on that? >> I have tried to contact the tactic owner. I have not even responded. I

told the budget committee the first time I talked to them and told them your offer they requested more and I told them that was not I didn't have the authority to do this. I've not had any luck trying to call her but I will get in touch with her but I will continue. Um also u the the property I know that's going to be coming up so I'll discuss that a little later. And then the roof I just think I just wanted to put that on there. That's something we probably need to have a building committee to meet on. Those are the next two on the list. Any further discussion? There's no further discussion. We will vote. All those in favor of approving the budget committee report, please say I. >> Any oppose, please say

I. Eyes have had it. The budget committee report has been approved. Next on the agenda is um approval of the budget resolutions. >> Move that with approval as presented. >> We have a motion and a second to approve the budget resolutions as presented. Mr. Clark, would you like to >> They're all just moving here at the end of the only one. The obviously the large one, the federal or school nutrition. I was kidding. Anybody heard me said that that 300,000 was for another that's part of it that Miss Michelle has been working with a group and they're going to renovate the junior high cafeteria with some of the additional funds that I guess I could say to say that Esther and things that were built. So that's going to be an upgrade. So she needs

to move those for that project. >> That's correct. >> Any further discussion or any questions about this? >> If there's no further discussion, Miss >> Mr. Mills, >> yes. >> Miss Douglas, >> yes. >> Mr. Marks, >> yes. >> Mr. Blue, >> yes. >> Mr. Thornton, >> yes. >> Mr. Mr. Harus, >> yes. >> Mr. Livingston, >> yes. >> Mr. Wers, >> yes. >> Miss Kennan, >> yes. >> Mr. Hedge, >> yes. >> Would anyone like to change their vote? 10. Yes. >> 10. Yes. The budget resolution approved. Next on our agenda is approval of the increase of employee and guest lunch prices beginning in August of 2026. I'll make a motion. >> We have a motion and a second to um approve the increase of employee and guest lunch process starting in August of

00826. Miss Michelle, >> we had a school nutrition monitoring couple weeks ago. Um, and by the way, Miss Michelle and her team had perfect score, which is with all the work and stuff that they asked us, they they need a pat on the back for sure. But during that monitoring, um, they did recommend that we go up on staff and guest prices. Obviously, that's never um popular, but if you look, we're losing money, and we we do not get funding for to feed employees. I wish we did, but it's it's school student nutrition. And so, uh, they recommended, so you can see, I think it goes to $6 for an employee and $7 for a guest. And that was recommended by the state monitors. It was not recommended uh by um the school district, but

it was recommended. And obviously, if you're if you're losing money, they're going to recommend that u you increase that. So, um I I don't know that I guess we have a choice, but if we we don't change it, then I think the next monitoring it might be a finding instead of a recommendation. >> It would be a fun instead of a recommendation. >> Any further discussion? >> If there's no further discussion, Miss Michelle, will you please call RO? Remember, we are voting to approve the increase of employee guest lunch process starting in August of 26. Mr. Mills, >> yes. >> Miss Douglas, >> yes. >> Mr. Marks, >> yes. >> Mr. Blue, >> yes. >> Mr. Thornton, >> yes. >> Mr. Hargus, >> yes. >> Mr. Livingston, >> yes. >> Mr. Wyers, >> yes. >>

Miss Kennan, >> yes. >> Mr. Hedge, >> yes. >> Would anyone like to change their vote? >> 10 yes. with 10 yeses that um increase has been approved. The next item on the agenda is approval of the transfer of property at 124 Avenue to the Benton County um to Venton County for the Carl Perkins facility. David back >> second. We have a motion and a second to approve the transfer of property at 120 Drywood Avenue to Vent County as a car facility. Any discussion? >> Um I there has been some concern from the county. They may not have enough money to renovate it. I think as they looked at it, it may require a little more. They haven't given up, but I think the mayor is supposed to come look. But the reason they have

asked the property be transferred from the school to the county if they invest in it. Um I think the top patrollers's office last time um recommended that it be in the county's um name. I I think it's a winwin because we're talking about a Carl Perkins facility that would be for abused youth and I think um some adults as well. So for Benton County, I think it's a winwin. the school system. I've said it a hundred times. That was my mistake that buying that facility. I still think the property is probably worth what you give for it. But if we could turn that into a Carl Perkins Center, I I know surrounding counties have them. I have talked to people that work in that field and they they are highly um recommend that that we

do that. So um obviously that's your decision. Um it is an investment. Obviously, it was right at I think it was $100,000 for that property a few years ago. But if we can have a facility that houses those individuals, I think is a win. So, they're going to come look at it and hopefully they can work out the finances. But I did talk to Judge Mr. Whitworth on the deed and he said as long as the county was okay with it and I I I talked to them. I don't think there's a concern that they can draw up the need that as long as it's a Carl Perkins Center facility, it would be the counties. It probably be way after my time, but if if it changes, then it would divert back to the school

system. >> Any further discussion? If there's no further discussion, we remember we are voting to transfer the property at 120 Avenue to Von County for Carl Perkins facility with a clause that if they no longer use it for Carl Perkins facility, it will be deactiv. >> Yes. >> Miss Douglas, >> yes. >> Mr. Mars, >> yes. >> Mr. Blue, >> yes. >> Mr. Thornton, >> yes. Mr. Harris, >> yes. >> Mr. Le, >> yes. >> Mr. Wyers, >> yes. >> Miss Kenny, >> yes. >> Mr. Hedge, >> yes. >> Would anyone like to change their vote? 10 yes. >> 10 yeses that um transfer of property has been approved. Next on our agenda is the director's report. >> Okay. Um I'm pretty sure tonight, first of all, um Mr. McDow and his staff to introduce

Miss Sarah Kamuzi has been hired as the assistant principal at County Central High School which will start July 1st when Miss Dr. Churchwell Cooper moves to uh central office. So um congratulations to Miss Sarah. We wanted to stop to hear that first. So that was just that decision was just made today. So congratulations to Mr. Bren Hedge on the birth of his granddaughter Jay Marie Hedge on April 2nd. I laughed when he come in. He pulled out his phone and chose a picture grandchildren can do to so congratulations Brett and Miss Jennifer and Sound and Bailey. I know y'all are excited. Um the HVAC project at Bri at Brywood is complete. The chiller, the cooling tire is gone. If you drive by Briwood, you will not see the cooling tire. it is gone. So, I'm

pretty proud of that. And I asked Mr. White if he had any comments today. He said he didn't, but they did go in the cafeteria this afternoon for muscuy and it was cool, which is kind of unusual when it's hot at Brywood. So, that that's good news. Um, state testing starts next week. Please keep our students and staff in your thoughts and prayers. Those are three or four really trying weeks for um students, parents, and and our staff. So, please um keep them in your prayers. We do need to schedule a budget and polic policy committee meeting. TSBA has sent a few things out. I know u Mr. Hargus and Mr. I think we can knock them out in the same day. Um, I think if we wait later towards the end of the month,

that will help us with getting more information on the budget. Either the 23rd or the 30th. Um, the 30th would probably be better because that gives us more time for revenues to come in. But if the 23rd works better for whichever's good, either one of those work for you, Brooke, either. Okay. So, April 30th at 5:30. would budget at 5:30, policy at 6:00 30th 30th, and I'll send you a reminder. And then the last thing I have is I'm sure most of you aware of this. We had a high school student over the break that was involved in an accident. And please keep Braden Stealth in your prayers. Is it junior high? Okay. I'm sorry. I talked to Mr. McDow. He He's >> a sibling in high school. But please keep that family most of

us know the way in your thoughts and prayers and we'll continue to keep Braden in in our prayers. That's all I
