[Music] Hey clockers, my name is Holly Silver with WACA and today I'm going to be giving you a brief summary of the Ashlin Town Manager newsletter, Michael Herbert. And I know this looks a little bit different today. We're trying out a new format. So I hope you guys like it and let's get to it. There are a few events coming up at the senior center, so bear with me. I'm going to run through them and they all just sound so amazing. Um, there's going to be some info about adult immunizations with Anne Fitzgerald and RN on Wednesday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m. There's going to be a free craft class with pressed flower votive candle jars on Tuesday, August 5th at 9:00 a.m. with Millie. Um, also there's going to be effective communication techniques to

use with friends and family members with memory loss. This is going to be Thursday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. And lastly, there's going to be stream movies and documentaries with Jonathan Baron, a digital learning instructor. So, great opportunity um to get to know how to do all of that stuff. That will be Tuesday, August 5th at 10:30 a.m. Okay, everyone, make sure to mark your calendars for August 2nd because between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the Friends of the Ashlin Public Library book sale will be going on. This is a great opportunity to stock up on some summer reads because there's going to be half off um library discards as well as mass market paperbacks. So, now is the time to stock up. Changing my background again because it is 95° here in Florida and

it was hot outside. So, now I'm back in my apartment, but I'm excited to talk about something near and dear to my heart is the Ashlin Public Safety Night. This is a really exciting event coming up on August 5th, Tuesday, August 5th, from 5 to 8 PM at the Ashland Middle School. There's going to be so much food, so much fun, and it's all at Ashlin Public Safety Night. So, there's going to be demonstrations from Ashland Police, fire, and DPW teams. So, this is a perfect event for all ages. Um, you're going to be able to climb aboard police cruisers, fire trucks, and DPW vehicles. Um, as well as experiencing live demos, uh, including the K9 unit, which is super cool. Uh, the Metrole LEC command center. Um, there's going to be food trucks, space

painting, balloon art, a giant sandbox. So, what isn't going to be there, right? So, this is going to be a great event, a great event to just, you know, be in your community, get to know people, and see everyone who gets to, you know, protect you from daytoday. So, hope to see you there. Also, at the select board meeting on August 6th at 700 p.m., they are looking for your input on the new hazard mitigation plan. You can go either in person or online at ashlandmask.com and your input is crucial. So, make sure you show out. Thanks y'all for tuning in today. Um, so great as always to be a clocker. Thanks to you all clockers for tuning in today and I hope to see you next week. Thank you Michael Herbert and the town

staff. This is Hie Silver. Good night and go clockers.
