My favorite thing about Friendship is the endless opportunities. >> [music] >> I am in student council, robotics, track club, and UIL. >> Here [music] at Tierra Vista, I'm involved in FCA, student council, Spanish, and choir. [music] >> I'm involved in orchestra, I'm in student council, I'm in National Junior Honor Society. >> I am involved in robotics, GT, >> I like learning about math, and reading, and science. >> I play basketball, [music] football, and I and I throw the shot put and discus in track. >> I'm involved in the school spelling [music] bee. >> I knew I wanted to make a difference within kids' lives, um and I knew I could do that within [music] this media world. Be able to show them, "Hey, from here it is possible because I am a kid that is
from here." The one thing I love about Friendship is that we allow kids [music] to explore. They can explore whatever career they want. >> I want to be a veterinarian. >> I want to be a robotics teacher for either college or high school. >> When I grow up, I want to be a therapist. >> Uh I want to be a football coach. >> I want to be a doctor. >> I'd like to be a gymnastics coach. >> I want to be a a fireman and a policeman to protect the city cuz city needs policemen and firemen. >> I think Friendship [music] has always portrayed the value of we're going to do what's best for kids. And I [music] could see that a long time ago, I could see that 20 years ago, and I can
see that now. >> What we're doing in Friendship and here at Heritage and all throughout Friendship ISD [music] is so truly special. We see kids for who they are, also ensuring that [music] uh they have character, and they have high expectations of themselves. >> My favorite thing about Ridgewood is how people treat others respectfully. >> I think it's important to serve the community like that so that [music] we can help others. >> I mean, just the drive they instill in us. Friendship has a >> [music] >> a history of success in our school. And so as the FFA, we just want to carry that on and kind of contribute what we can to Friendship's success. [music] >> There's a certain standard at Friendship and I really appreciate that I get to push myself to always
try my best, always be [music] like a be the best person I can be. >> Thank you, Friendship School Board. >> Because of you, our school is a great place to learn. [music] >> Thank you for caring about students like me. >> Thank you for believing in me. >> Thank you for investing in my education. Because of you, [music] I feel prepared for the future. >> It's really cool that y'all give us all these opportunities to find what we love. >> You make Friendship better. >> Thank you for supporting our schools. >> Because of you, I belong at Friendship. >> Thank you for making Friendship awesome. >> Friendship just [music] really brings the best out of it out of the students and it brings the best out of me. >> Thank you to our school
board members because without your support every single day, >> [music] >> we wouldn't be able to do what we do. >> I think school board members seek their job not for acclaim, but to serve [music] our community and our children. And I thank you for that. >> Having the school [music] board ask me to come up to one of their meetings and talk about what I do, it just meant a lot knowing that, you know, we have Friendship ISD behind us in everything we do and they're always supporting us. >> As a Friendship [music] graduate, and a Friendship employee, and a Friendship parent, [music] I am just so thankful that my children, along with all my students [music] that I work with every day, get the opportunity to grow up in a school district that
loves them, and cares [music] for them, and provides for them. All of that is because of our school board and I'm so thankful [music] to them for that. >> Thank you.
