001It's 5:30. The time is now uh 5:30 on January 7th. And this regular meeting, oh, this is a special meeting. Special meeting of the El Campo Independent School District Board of Trustees is now called to order. Let the record show that this meeting was duly posted section 551.043 the Texas government code regarding public meeting. There's a quorum of members present. I'll lead us in a prayer and the pledge. Let's pray. Lord, uh thank you for letting us come together today to to do the important business of El Campo ISD. Let us all remember we're striving for a common goal. Uh be with those who who need your healing. Be with uh all of those who who um have come through the holidays and and and and not has had as good a holidays as all
002of us would hope they would. uh please be with us as as we continue the rest of this school year and this semester. And uh we ask these things in your name. Amen. Amen. Uh at every meeting, we reserve some time for public comment and public testimony. Uh the public is open to address this this board. Um they do have to meet some certain criteria and sign in. Has anyone signed in tonight? There's no public comment. We will move along into the only thing on the agenda tonight is going into closed session and the time is now 5:31 and we will adjourn into public
