001I call this meeting of the student school board to order. Mr. DeMasters, I believe you have a special action item for us today regarding the cafeteria menu. Thank you, Madam President. After a lot of committee meetings on the playground, we are presenting a proposal to change the school lunch schedule to pizza every day. We've seen a lot of enthusiasm for this, but it requires a formal vote from the board. I'll make a motion to approve the Pizza Everyday initiative. I second that motion. Thank you. The motion has been made and seconded. The floor is now open for discussion. I think this is a great idea. Statistics show that 100% of my friends are much happier on Friday because of the pepperoni. Why not start the week off with that happiness too. I agree. But we

002need to figure out the toppings. If we're going to have this every day. We need variety. Meatlover Mondays. Cheesy Tuesdays. The possibilities are endless. I'm concerned about the side dishes. If we do this, do we still have to eat the steamed broccoli? I think we should replace the broccoli with garlic knots to stay consistent with the theme. Well, we have enough energy for P.E. if we’re full of carbs and cheese? You know what? Who cares? As long as it's stuffed crust. I'm a yes vote. I'm a fan of Chicago style pizza. Will that be put into the menu? Is Chicago style really considered pizza? We may have to push that to the next agenda for a vote. Very well. Is there any further discussion? Seeing none, we'll move to a vote. All those in favor

003of pizza every day. Raise your hand. The motion passes 7 to 0. Mr. DeMasters. Any final words? I just want to say thank you to this board. I appreciate all your service and your incredible dedication to the students and our staff. We just wanted to take a second to say Thank you. To our real school board. Thank you for all the hours you spend in meetings. And for making our schools the best they can be. We appreciate your hard work. And your dedication to every student. Thank you for being our leaders. We couldn't do without you. Happy school board recognition month.
