001Sorry, I didn't put on my microphone. All right, I'll start over. It is now 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12th, 2026. Item number two, canvas returns and declare the results of the Board of Trustees election held on May

0022nd, 2026. In accordance with Texas Election Code 67.004, two members of the canvassing authority constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing election. We will be assisted by J.C. Scholl, our KISD election agent. Mr. >> Thank you, Ms. Jones. As stated in accordance with the Texas Election Code Section 67.002 and 67.003, returns for each election shall be canvassed by the local canvassing authority not earlier than the third day, Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, nor later than the 11th day, Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, after the election held on the same date as the general election. In addition to votes cast in person during early voting and on election day, the early voting ballot board has verified and counted all provisional ballots and ballots cast by mail received in a timely manner. As this may be the last opportunity

003we have to collaborate on our general election with city of Killeen, I'd like to extend my appreciation to the city of Killeen City Secretary Laura Calcoat for the help that she and the city staff provided throughout their election cycle. >> [clears throat] >> During early voting by personal appearance, the locations were as follows: the Jackson Professional Learning Center, Killeen City Hall, Killeen Lions Club Park Senior Center, the Harker Heights Recreation Center, Nolanville City Hall, and Shoemaker High School for our Coryell County precincts. In your envelopes, if you'll open those up, I'll give you a quick orientation as to what's included. You'll see a tally sheet that each of you will fill out tonight as we go through the polling locations, some scratch paper for you if we need to do math. Each of the returns

004from all of the polling locations that we'll go through one by one, as well as the answers to the test that you can leave sealed until the end, but we'll review together if there are any questions or discrepancies that we arise. The results are returned here as follows for early voting. And the first sheet that you'll see is the Harker Heights sheet. It has both early voting and election day included. Before we get too far into it, to refresh, uh under vote

005is possible when a voter shows up at the poll and elects to not cast a vote in a particular race. So, it's very possible that they vote in race four and not five, or in race five and not four, if that makes sense. For place five, Joe Bias, 394 votes. Brett Williams, 938. Under votes, 32. The very next page, City of Nolanville early vote. Angela Santos, 10. Michael Green, 11. Marvin Rainwater, 43. Lan Carter, 13. Under votes, zero. Joe Bias, 24. Brett Williams, 52. Under votes, one.
