Uh, as uh Mary Lou mentioned in our uh previous safety and security committee meeting, uh we did have a couple of intruder detection audits um uh this past month and one of those audits did have some findings and so we're required to within 45 days bring those findings before the board and Mayor Lou has um sent out some some information to the forward uh along uh with this presentation. So, with that, I'm going to turn it over to Mary Lou to just kind of give us a rundown on what what happened. >> All righty. Well, good morning again. Uh this meeting is being held uh in regards to a Houston intruder detection audit. Uh as Carl mentioned, we did get deficiency marks at one of our campuses this fall. that
003campus has completed its corrective action items. Uh board members, you were sent the details of the intruder detection audit along with the copy of the uh appeal and the minutes of the meeting that happened on this campus. If you have any questions that are deeper than that, then we would have to discuss that in close session. uh if not after this meeting I will compile one big O file submit uh all the that we have held our um that they have held their training they have a plan of action and that we've had a board meeting and a school safety and security meeting I will get all those documents submitted I'm confident that there shouldn't be a reason for rejection and that this should not be an issue in the future especially uh due to
004the nature of what the deficient was with the upcoming move. Um I think that will all be omitted. But if you see any reason for close session on that, then that is um that's all that we can uh we can go into that for more details. >> And I'll just add uh that that these kinds of issues um will will not be uh present at our new location. We'll will be in our our own space. Um, and so we'll be able to to manage our our security a little better. 005they decided to end the partnership, they really have not been very fair players. they have um basically ignored our you know school policies and procedures and and so it has made it harder to um follow the the safety protocols um as far as the who's in and out of the building unfortunately. >> Yes. And um >> yeah, we this should be a problem that we'll resolve by by moving into our own space. So that that's a great reason to move into our own space. >> Well, with with that um Mr. Clemens, that that kind of uh >> that's then we do not need to go into close session for uh the security audit, but we do have a personal issue.
