001As a board member, most will probably say I'm not the most outspokenest person, but you can best believe I'm in the trenches and I'm working and I'm going to make sure those children are provided for. I grew up in a home of educators. My mother was a school teacher and she branched on out to the administrative part of it. I've I grew up in a home of loving, caring, always wanting to do things for children. We had no option. My mother, you know, if a child was needy, in need. We were going to provide if we had the extra, it was going to a child. A lot of people wanted to know why are you running for school board? Why are you going against this component? It had nothing to do with my opponent because

002I didn't know who it was or she. I stepped out because I knew that I was seeing that our schools were going this way and the love wasn't flowing. So I prayed about it. I asked the good Lord. He said, "You step out and show love." And that's what my intentions are. And it's up to us as an adult to make sure they get that to ensure that they can step out into life and receive the same things. They can be ready for life. And as an adults we must we must do that. We have to set the examples. And when I say set the examples, we you know the generations now they don't see the life or you dress a certain way to show these students what's next in life. We it's too relaxed

003and then they still think that they should succeed. But success comes with all angles, not just the academics. You can't do the academics if you can't think to have respect. Respect starts with the adults. We have to respect the children. These children require that you give them that. And it's not wrong. A lot of adults think it's wrong. But if we're not respecting them, how can you expect them to respect us?
