009bring it up Al he took a pretty hard run by that Millis player didn't see her there Millis running that same play back to the top of the key Ivory rips that bound down Outlet to Eliza homman who drives the hoop and puts it in her first shot of the night Alon with a six to four lead shot comes off the back of the rim oneth ivy with another rebound clock has will slow it down is Will pound that ball into the floor till we get some [Applause] movement going to get a call on an attempted pick by Natalie only that'll be her second foul and uh looks like she banged up her knee there and she's going to take a little rest sister Samantha R to substitute [Applause] Millis working the ball on the
010outside of the perimeter one Ivory all over their Center not letting the ball come inside and Homo drives it up the court again looks for Kaylee gazed that gets knocked away gwenth iy comes over steals it back Kaye across to Samantha Leon puts it up off the rim not in Millis with the [Music] rebound Ash closes on the Millis ball carer quickly and they'll start it over at the top nice move by Kaye gazed the cut off the Millis player trying to drive the Baseline ball goes off for foot and that'll be Millis underneath few more substitutes what do we have here Matt Amy amyan side came in for Millis [Music] and Megan Russell came in for Ashlin lady trying to get some young new feed out onto the field out on the court tonight
011you don't see both teams going as hard as I've seen earlier basketball season got a foul there on Kaylee Gadis can't convert that shot Megan araro looking for some help than backside pick Megan Russell converts that very nice play underneath by Ashland two backside screens Megan Russell wide open for that pass makes the easy basket it's our second foul of the night Kaylee gazzard [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and the foul shot has finally been made Lan Cassidy makes the first foul show of the evening that's her second try here that'll close the ason lead to 8 to six in between shots gwenth Ivory came in for Kali gazzard three point attempt by mean Aro all [Applause] net we got a quick turnover here by Millis and Megan Russell inbounds it to Eliza hullman pushing up the

013pushing it up the floor with 15 seconds left Russell breaks that up and they'll get it out on the side 14 seconds left ashon leaves 11-9 his first quarter of action that ball will actually be underneath for Millis the inbound Sam Leone all over the Millis player Ivory gets her hands in Sam takes the long shot at the buzza off the front of the rim and doesn't go nice effort nice defense by Ashland tonight that last shot could have went in a little Ashland pep band over here doing a little uh ping trying to get this clocker crowd going tonight so at the end of one ashin 11 melis 9 be right back right clocker fans we back here for the start of the second quarter ashon versus Millis Friday night January 11th good back
014and forth action early here Ashlin five fouls early though [Music] so be an advantage for Miller shortly here hman bringing it up now Leone back in working down low triple team gets it out to aono stops and takes a 10-footer off the back of the rim Millis rebound M pushing the ball up the floor stop by homman and they'll set up aono makes a steal saw that pass coming she'll push it up the floor Steel by Millis Alli tried to dump it into Ivory a little too long gwenith with the steel underneath basket Samy pushes outside to hman swings it around man Arrow drops it off for homeman for the three-point attempt comes off the back of the rim but rebounded by Ivory pulls it out Sam Leone through the lane fans wondering where the
015foul was on that call back out to Sam there up fake Ivory in the lane goes to the glass drops it for two couple of good offensive rebounds there by Ashland and Ivy gets it back puts it up and she'll go to the [Music] line p is in with that one hand short of her turns that into a nice three-point play ason takes the lead 14 to n another long range shot off the front of the rim rebounded by Sam Leone nice movement up the floor by Ashley and hman gets it back goes to the rim she's going to get a foul on a block underneath Camden Morrison taking away the Baseline on elizer and that'll be her first foul of the night oh Ela caught Natalie breaking to the rim she gets two shot
016attempts but can't convert Ashlin set up in the his zone defense and Ashton's height underneath really thwarting Mel's opportunities to shoot they take out of the longrange shot Natalie gets the rebound Homan goes to the Lane gets it over to aono and she's fouled nice movement up the floor by [Applause] ashon Kem Morrison with that foul today makes her first foul shot and second's playing well tonight [Applause] again another rebound Sam Leone all over the floor [Applause] nice aan with a very nice move to get around the Millis Defender but ref calls the F on the outside takes away that basket quickly Millis has uh taken the lead in team fou six to five Ashlin inbounds Natalie from the corner with her favorite three-point shot extends the ashon lead 19 to9 5 minutes 18 seconds
017left in the second quarter another long range shot by Millis misses another rebound by gwenith Ivory and we're going to get an over the back foul an oao just can't handle gwenneth Ivory tonight gwth with likely her seventh Rebound with five minutes left in the second quarter she'll go to the line for two as Millis is now in the penalty actually she'll go to the line Matt on a one-on-one cuz Millis is in the penalty thank you for pointing that out you're welcome I'm glad I could help sinks the first one it's the first one with that patented oneand push shot sinks the second one and now makes the second one now ashlin's leading the game 21 to9 Matt I'm looking for Coach Dave fellon to call a timeout here regroup Millis will go to
018the on the offense see what they can do again ashlin's tight Advantage a big plus for them tonight and Eliza looking to drive the hoop she'll pull it out wait for their help back out to Sam with an open three comes up short off the side of the rim Millis rebound Ashley and tight Advantage really shutting him down down low and that double team pressure is going to cause uh Millis [Applause] travel coach Fallon has decided to call that time out you called it so it's 21 to9 Ashlin leads here four minutes or so left in the second [Music] quarter all right sports fans remember you can see all of Ashland High School sports on W ACA TV pcast channel 96 and if you're a Verizon subscriber tune to channel [Music] 40 to say m
019the uh a some pep band has really grown this year and expanded their repertoire of tunes I believe this is actually the first season I've heard him at an actual basketball game too they used to only play the football games [Music] well kudos to uh direct the mall there who's got the kids sounding good piing up a good portion of that stands down there too they got a big crowd good for them I believe they're actually going to the music festival too this year excellent ashon brings it in 424 left in the second quarter Millis pick up the defensive pressure here out of that timeout looks for a shot natal Le only at the F line that's a little long but Ivory another rebound can't convert takes three Millis plays to get the rebound from
020her this time and they'll bring it up the floor let's look at for a way to get that ball down low and that's going to be a turnover ashin defensive pressure continuing to cause Millis mistakes the side out here Sam Leone into that Eliza hullman start it over [Applause] again now high off the glass nice play by Megan Ian Arrow to undercut [Applause] that Millis play and Natalie takes it up the floor herself and Mak sure she puts that one in off the box for two Marson tries to go down low off oneth Ivory rejected another long shot by Millis comes off the front of the rim and Megan iono pushes it up the floor cross again nice pass this pass Inlet pass from natal only to gwenneth Ivory and she's going to get foul
021there this ref will call on the floor instead of on the sh but no it is the penalty so it'll be one and one wasn't quite sure what he was doing there man Cali gazzard Subs in for Natalie Oni Ivory it's her first Miss tonight the line [Music] Sam and El are up to break that up but one of them's on the line and M will get it out on the [Applause] side Sam sits down and Megan Russell comes back in Kaye gazer with the [Music] rebound tries to double up on lies as she gets a pass away it's down low and uh guess who's them mat gwenth Ivory gwenneth ivory with another rebound but gets tied up and that possession arrow is in the mills's favor only way they seem to be getting the
022ball away from Ivory tonight man he's playing good strong defense tonight another steal Megan aono from behind brings it up over to Gard into the corner Eliza looking for a shot goes to the rim gets it to Ivory back out for the three-pointer a little long but that's torn down by Kaylee gazit who sets a nice pick allows Eliza to go to the rim with her shot for two Millis calls out uh calls a timeout there too sir [Music] so with that that's coach F second time out and that's because ashlin's had a 140 run this quarter Millis yet to score here in the second quarter let allow coach Kirby to arrest a couple of his [Music] starters Millis really needs to find a way to get some rebounds get the ball up there a
023little bit more unless they're really going to start losing the good portion of this game I think coach Fallon's going to have to a couple of adjustments have not got a quality shot off this quarter and ashlin's defense is get becoming more and more [Music] [Applause] confident another a three-point shot by Millis rims in and out nice rebound by Megan Russell that ball swung across Court to Ivory can't convert Marson knocks that out of Megan Russell's hands but she digs it knocks it back up top Diono to Homan who take her three-pointer that comes short and a rebound there by Millis wellis again with the three-point shot finally this one goes to sha Hopkins El's first basket of the second quarter with less than minute [Music] [Applause] left what do we get there Matt not
024sure what he called neither am I I was looking for a ref for a signal and I didn't even get that like Smokey's on Eliza for a little ball control must have got caught on a double dribble hanging that ball on her hip no foul Reb rebound nice rebound long re nice pick up on that long rebound by Megan Aon aono she's going to go to the Lane to shoot the line to shoot as Millis register is their ninth team foul believe that was a push on their there number three Shana Hopkins that bounce off the front of the rim 28 seconds left in the half yet another long range shot for Millis another rebound for Ashland and another foul on Millis put them in the double bonus and we're going to have Marissa de
025Bonet go to the line for two this is the first time she's been out all game too so let's hope she can put some points up on that board just subed in just before that play for comes off the front of the rim s a second one 15 seconds left here swinging around the outside no chance in that corner with Ivory and hulleman on her another long shot the number two Jill mea will make one at the buzza for Millis so that second quarter resulted in a 15 to5 pickup by Ashlin so at the end of two it's ashon 26 melis 14 and uh we'll be right back for third quarter action you're watching waca TV thank you very much Ginger this is Mark jart Matt gemo we're back here with Ashlin ladies basketball January
02611 ashin a commanding lead at the start of the third quarter 26-4 over Millis Millis except for a couple of three-pointers unable to sustain any offensive threat against the lady clockers tonight who have uh just controlled the boards oneth Ivory eight rebounds Samantha Leone coming off the bench to pick up four more rebounds herself and as usual Megan iono and Eliza hullman pushing the ball up as we start off [Music] here now Leone up top couple of High screens for Ashlin trying to free up Natalie that ball goes across the court trying to get to Eliza I'm sorry to uh gwenth Ivory and that's going to go out of bounds Millis will take it in Millis going a little harder on defense now was working around the perimeter trying to get it inside to Marson
027and that's the first time they've been successful tonight marrison off the glass for two against Ivory that double screen opens up Natalie for a nice pass from Megan aono she gets foul she'll be going line for two misses that first one there RS that one out but she's going to get another shot as we got a lane violation on melis looks like that second chance really helped her out and sinks that shot it's Millis definitely so Millis will try and work that perimeter looking to find that person in the corner who fires up that long three that comes up short kayy Gaz another rebound hman looking across court for aono doesn't make the pass puts it back up top to Kaylee GID who didn't get away with that travel looked like she might but ref
028took a little time to get that breath out and call that also bring it up 2716 630 left in the third quarter here looking across Court back up top drive to the hoop pull up eight comes up short off the rim Mion little struggle there with Lane Cassidy ties the ball up but it's ms's possession arrow and they'll take it out underneath Down Low Down Low Morrison takes it underneath takes a shot off the glass rebounded by Leone tied up by the Millis player but have some possession ARL and they'll bring it up the floor waiting for Megan aono to make that long trip around the court on a couple of back screens pulls up her shot not going to miss that from 8 [Applause] ft slowly developing but a successful play continuing the struggle
029to get it down low settles for another long range short that comes up short Megan iono to a three-point line across to Liza hullman for the long range bomb for three more M switch to man defense that's enough to have the Mullis coach call his third time out of the evening and with 510 left there in the third quarter as has extended its lead to 32-6 we take a break we' like to recognize our crew tonight Brendan Malo Dan Baker Adam Halprin Jami YF will mclennen Paul Bodwin and off the camera tonight sitting next to me my co-host Matt Gemma taking a break from filming tonight filling in for Mr ther multiv veratile Talent there Matt we're glad to have you on board I'm a jack of all traits the teams will come back after
030this time out Millis looking for an answer for their offense give the appson girls credit Kaylee Gaz at an ivory gwenneth Ivory doubling down on Camden Morrison just not allowing her to get free underneath forcing Millis to take these long range shots and they just not hitting the three tonight it's going to it's hurting them megano drives to the hoop for her eight footer comes out back a rim gets her own rebound pushes out to homo takes a three that comes short Ivory and Gard struggle for the rebound can't get it Ms will look to break their drought and open Lane turns into a traveling violation ason with the ball back got a full full court press going on here as they switch to man defense again oh the crowd's not going to like that
031call mat elah with a nice pass to gwenneth Ivory underneath he tried to go up here we go the crowd was looking for foul there but our referees saw it different called the jump ball and that's Miller possession Liza hman put a little pressure on Shana shaa Hopkins there's two kick balls the ref missed and aono and Leon tie the ball up but Miller Coach Dave Fallon calls a timeout from the side and uh they'll maintain possession well Matt next week when you're back behind the camera we're going to have special guest co- announcer Steve Mitchell Kon selectman Shar the board of Selectmen and little known fact was Mr Mitchell was a uh referee in his past so we'll have a inside look at how referees make calls as well as some excellent color commentary
032by Mr Mitchell we' be looking forward to that' be good to have Iseman on the Millis B area again we switch to get that double trap gets out of it that time ason drops back into the Zone Marson gets free this time turns around puts it up for two clear this girl's got some Talent with a quick [Applause] steal and we'll have an ashon foul and Anita and Kaye G it that's kayle's third of the evening kti golden is at the [Applause] line she makes both her shots [Applause] is turning up the heat but ason breaks that press gets the ball down to Leone drops it off to gwenith Ivy who puts it in off the glass and gets the foul Jessica fui drawing that foul her third I believe Matt oh I'm sorry her
033second right WTH that comes off the rim rebounded by Millis that shots Black by alone yo off to gazed drives for the hoop underneath out to Homan for the three-pointer Eliz has made her last two of those shots nice Hustle by ashin to get back on defense that gets tipped out by Kaylee gazit Al will take it out of bounds the end of their bench three minutes left here ashon 37 Millis [Music] 19 takes that shot well the women in Golden made that shot coach Fallon exhorting his girls to get their hands up now he swings it across Court to gazed back to aono out to Eliza who's been red hot on fire with the threes misses this one that ball say by gazed Leone gets it out to Megan iire who stops for her
034right foot pop and [Applause] in a little bit more pressure from Eliza homman [Applause] here that was an interesting play Man sou in two points for Millis well rly back up top St the [Applause] offense okay I guess we're going to get Megan air on an offensive there she's still looking for some explanation from the ref [Applause] Haley berl coming in for meanna Ando giving her a break at 30 here left in the third quarter sh comes up short B only with the rebound off to Sister Sam to bring it up the wing she pulls up [Applause] the breath hold back to in the corner to Samy nice Movement by the clockers but that gets tipped out of bounds and that'll be Ashlin ball moment to inbound tried to get it into Megan Russell on
035the break to the basket and ref Says Megan lost it out of bounds [Applause] scrum at the fou line balls toss out of bounds by [Applause] Millis Millis full court pressure now Megan Russell inbound Aiza Holman and uh we're going to get a call on Samantha Leone with a legal pick I'd say the girls ran into each other there Matt but that goes against Ashland grab another the three-point shot for Millis doesn't go ball bounces around underneath it's rebounded by Amy Assad goes right back up and the ref calls aloni from the foul it gets a big reaction from the crowd but that won't change the call Lane Cassidy oh I'm sorry Amy aad go to the line for two that'll be Natalie's thirdd foul on the evening she misses that first one still both
036teams aren't having a great night at the foul line [Applause] comes off the front of the rim but rebounded by melis sad puts back the three and makes [Applause] it full C press by Millis Haley berl with the traveling violation there what a little spur here now to cut at the 13 and we're going to get a uh buzzer from our clock operator Andy run apparently we had some debris on the court official timeout while that gets picked up and Millis will take it out here by the table by our table and that in pass is intercepted by ashin Heman 6 seconds left looking for some help that gets broken up by Millis and we're going to end the third quarter here with Ashlin 39 Millis 26 [Music] while the teams take a break between

038struggling to get there manto man defense working I and arrow to the Lane and she's fouled well it's no answer for Megan iono tonight this is the first one Megan gets no help from the rim there either and she makes the second one it'll make it 4028 Ashlin Ashlin back with other their status here at the beginning of the fourth [Applause] quarter to give the ashon girls credit they double down and help each other quite well and a very aggressive around the rim there's a rebound that Millis actually got but Kaylee G it stepped in there ripped it away Millis gets the advantage with the possession arrow but Ashton girls continue to control the boards defensive boards Leone in [Applause] between Camden Morrison and Amy side for that rebound that foul will goes on Lane
039Cassidy for a second balls quickly down to gwth Ivory was fouled going up and she'll go to the line [Applause] of productive at the line tonight Matt looks like she's the only one actually having luck though four for five so far how she makes this next one here you go five for six at the line tonight foru [Applause] [Music] KY golden tries to drive to the hoop and she gets fouled sandwich between nataloni and WTH Ivory cor picks up the fouble for a second golden makes her first shot a mill a substitution what do we got there Matt us usaga for Amy Assad golden makes her second Millis back to the full court pressure but that Leone with no no issue getting through that going right to the hoop herself gets fouled as she tries
040to lay it in she'll go to the line for two as you mentioned in the pregame tonight coach Kirby happy to have Natalie back that buries that [Applause] one she had 20 in her last game against DS last week well let's see Tuesday night man oh that one rims out unlucky [Applause] but Kaye gazed tremendous hustle gets that rebound Ashlin calls a timeout there Ash calls a timeout and they're going to keep that ball after the timeout [Music] right welcome back everybody 601 left there in the four fourth quarter ashon leads Millis 45-28 result of some good Hustle by Kaye gazit ashon will take it out underneath the basket Eliza hulleman to inbound tried to make it to the hoop cut off by Morrison throws it underneath to the Leone up and in very nice
041pass ashin goes to zone defense here Millis with yet another three-pointer coming up short megano bring it up and Li a home and'll start to manage that offense Kayley comes out to provide some Outlet help Leone steps back for the three off the front of the rim ni Hustle by Megan aono to get the rebound herself stops and pops and she puts two more in coach Kirby's going to be happy with the intensity and hustle the lady clock is a showing tonight Millis in the hole forced to take long shots and none of them are going at this point we've got a foul here what do we got coming so that foul is going to be on Millis on Jessica fui I think we should be going to the line for one and one Matt
042but coach Kirby some wholesale substitutions and we're going to leave Eliza hullman in the take her foul shots oneon-one situation and uh her substitution a wait for the shots Eliza first one goes off the back of the rim Millis gets the rebound broken up by Lindsay Tolen alson gets the ball back and look like we got Marissa Duan comes in for Eliza so with wholesale substitutions here Ashton's lead 49 of 28 431 left in the game coach Kirby going to get his under classman some minutes [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Cassidy furth fouled from behind not appreciated by the visiting melis fans but she'll be going to the line the one-onone opportunity that foul on I know Matt we're having a little trouble over there at the scores table tonight couple times we put up the uh
043offensive players number so Cassidy fth at the line makes her first one and she'll go for two's off the back of the rim another three pointer wide of the rim tipped off an Ashlin hand this will get it back underneath again three-pointer off the rim This Time rebounded by melis they start back up top a girls hands up stopping those crosscourt passes Amy Assad drives to the rim comes off the rim doesn't make it but gets her own rebound and puts it back up Millis calls a timeout looking at even the sizes on the second strand of girls that came in for Ashlin they still got a little bit of height on the Mills team I guess mat is this is a three-point in three-point shooting Miller team and it's just not going down from
044tonight they've got three three-pointers made all night only one in the second half and they've easily taken over a dozen three-point shots so without that support i' fallen down 20 at this game at this point [Music] so as commanding the defense of boards and having a fairly good shooting night such that even at 50% of the offensive holds there gwth Ivory R has the bulk of the rebounds for ashin all right so white will take it out aan Russell bring it in underneath Cassidy furth and Sam Leone there to help her m back in a manto man full court Sam Leone I wish will bringing it up she'll swing at the Cassidy up top of the three-point line Looks So the rim gives it back to Sam yesi in the corner very nice pass to
045merca Doan but it's no help from the rim Millis with the rebound Ash back to the zone defense Millis back to taking three point shots that aren't going in frustration on the rebound leads to a foul by Millis and with nine team fouls Ora Duan will be at the line oneon-one situation all right so again we have on our clock here number 13 for Millis throwing the foul but I don't see a 13 on the floor do you Matt I don't sad looking for some help Zing his teammates a move underneath she gets the ball back takes the long range three that comes up short off the [Applause] rim Amy golden gets the rebound and it's fouled Katie golden she'll go to the line I think that foul is going to be against Megan Russell
