Will you please read the resolution 711 of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act as amended? discussion, consideration, or interviews of prospective candidates for employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, performance, demotion, salaries, disciplining, or resignation of specific public officers, appointees, or employees of the school board pursuant to subsection 2.2-3711A1 of the act. The subject covered by this exemption is a further discussion of the unique qualifications of specific individual candidates for appointment to the position of superintendent of Norfolk Public Schools. Consultation with legal counsel regarding specific legal matters requiring the provisional legal advice by council pursuant to subsection 2.2-3711A8 of the act. The subjects covered by this exemption are advice of council concerning the acts closed meeting provisions, the provisions of Virginia code concerning the board's annual organizational meeting in January and a matter set above in subsection A of this motion.
