Okay. Oh, we're not ready. I always count
my chickens before they hatch. All right. Speaking of hatching, I have four chickens. Um, I don't remember all their names, but the ones my kid let me name or the one I was allowed to name, I lovingly named Mrs. Pancakes. Right. What a fun name. If you're Okay, we got Thank you for putting up with me. They put up with me because they have to. Thank you. I had to Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] All right, our next and our final uh song for you tonight from these guys is uh Superstition by Stevie Wonder. Um, if you haven't had a chance, there's this awesome documentary on Netflix about the
making of We Are the World and just how it was insane to get all these people together and Stevie Wonder was like the only chill dude in here. All right, man. I got it. Like, oh, we're so stressed out. He's watch this. And he just sits down, right? So, uh, great great documentary. Highly recommended. Talk about more documentary. All right, we're good. Ah, beautiful. Here we [Music] go. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Hallelujah. [Music] Here we [Music] are. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yeah. Oh yeah. [Music] [Applause] But um both Isaac and Luke soled on that song and the Second [Applause] song. Thank you [Music] very practiced it with my middle schoolers. If you guys were here last night, we had it. He can attest for it, right, Joe? Okay, stand up. We're
going to practice the B. Thank you for putting it up with me. [Music] Yes. All right. So, now we're going to bring the thunder. This is the Taha Rock. Hasn't even started yet. But, um, while we're getting this going, as my seniors come out, I'm going to, um, introduce them to you a little bit. It's uh a tradition we do here kind of, you know, meets the senior. I'll tell you a little bit about uh what their plans are in life and maybe what size shoes they wear or something like that. But um yes, so I have three seniors and we'll get into that in a minute. But while I actually actually while I have one senior present, let me start with him. This is Mr. Connor Chrisman. He he is well known throughout all
of Tahanto as the Arctic cat. Um he he can explain to you or actually I can tell you why. Um one of the reasons he's known as the Arctic Cat because one of his favorite things to do is to ride snowmobiles, right? He also Mr. Connor I feel like this is like a beauty. I feel like uh or excuse me, Connor also plays a lot of fight and drums. So, he has a rich family tradition of playing uh traditional Americana fight and drum music throughout uh Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts. Um anyway, he his plans after college are to major in music and mechanical engineering and he plans to attend the University of Southern Maine. Uh, his favorite memory of band was the Six Flags trip we had last week. It was a good time.
Yeah. Read nonstop. The whole the whole team was non-stop. Very Yeah. You guys know the deal. We all been there. All right. My next senior is is hiding right behind me. This is Ari Rock. So, her plans um are to go to community uh Quinc Sigman Community College for automotive and she wants to be a mechanic and Formula Formula One car. Right. Right. That would be a good time. Right. All right. Her favorite her favorite band memory. Oh, she has multiple. That's nice. So do I. Um is that she did not realize before she played at um in a Tanto talent show how much she was really going to enjoy uh rocking out in front of a live crowd of people, which is absolutely fantastic. And she never realized she never had enough faith in
herself at first to believe that she could be the awesome rock star that she has gotten to be, which is fantastic. And so she is going to uh rock your socks off in a minute. All right. Her horoscope, for those of you keeping score, is an Aries. Good. And she wears a size N shoe. Okay. Good. There's one other thing. Um she prefers Metallica to Mega Death and really actually feels that load and reload. Um, the albums aren't as bad as people say, except for maybe that Mama said song, which is should have been country. Anyway, Metallica, pretty good band. If you saw on the news, Metallica was on the news cuz they played in some stadium and they set off the earthquake, right? All right. So, rock and roll forever, my friend. Yeah, I
can hear it. Can you hear it? You have to get close to the mic. It's on. I promise. I'll check it in a minute. Let me introduce Ian and then then we can take everybody. Is it on? All right. That Ian just introduced himself. That is Ian. Um plans to go to UMass to study finance. Right. That's that's pretty impressive. Maybe he can loan me some money later. Um his his favorite band memory was uh a few minutes ago when Arigot the keys to her bass case and so uh she couldn't play her actual bass tonight. She's playing with one of the the uh you know the school owned bases which is kind of like the difference between using your own bathroom and using a public restroom analogy for you. All right, good. Um back
to Ian. Um, he doesn't really know what his horoscope is, and that's fine. I don't really know. Yeah, I know what mine is. I'm lying. Um, and the thing he he wants you guys all to know, want this the audience to know that he definitely got a five on the AP. He is also a RZ master, if you know what that is. and he he likes to rinse himself up some free dessert out at Chili's restaurants. All right, those are our seniors. They um as always, it's going to be sad to see them go, especially when you have them for so many years. Um you know, you get you get uh accustomed to each other that my job I won't go on for long in front. My job is unique in that I get the
kids in sixth grade and then I get to see them from sixth grade all the way up to 12th grade. So, we really get to know each other and these are a great bunch of kids. All right, we I believe we are ready, right, my friends? Yep. Yes. Good. We have three mics going. Good. These are the Wendigos. Uh we have three This is a Tanto rock ensemble. Uh we have three pieces playing for you tonight. And then we have an upcoming rock show which uh rock festival. We'll have us playing there and some other Tahanto bands. Um I highly recommend that. That's coming up on June 6th. But now I'm going to turn the floor over to them. All right. Our first song is by a band called Green Day. If we know uh
our English teacher, Mr. Dhy, I'm sure he would have a whole long speech about literature and books and blah blah blah blah. But we're just going to play a song called American Idiot. Don't want to be an America. [Music] The solid [Music] America dreams of tomorrow. That's enough to argue. America. [Music] I'm not a part of the redneck [Music] agenda. Let's take a look. [Music] tomorrow everybody. [Music] of [Music] course by stereot. [Applause] [Music] America [Music] tomorrow you [Music] [Applause] The next song we have for y'all is The Ch by Fuba Mac. If you guys know Fuba Mac, everybody knows Fleetwood Mac. [Music] Listen to the wind. Watch the sun. [Music] Stand your love in your [Music] eyes. And if you love me, you will begin. If you will never [Music] again the wind blows.
Oh, [Music] down in the [Music] shadow and the light. [Music] again. I'll be [Music] breaking the same [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yeah. Come on. [Music] High. Baby. [Music] down. Hey [Music] Are you [Music] you never [Music] Good night. Everybody [Music] never late. [Music] around [Music] sleep right away. May the Lord have mercy. [Music] There [Music] she goes. [Music] Hey, [Music] [Applause] Thank you. [Applause] How did you like that call back that told you about the earthquake and it boom? That was a surprise song, right? All right. Um, one final thing. Thank you as always for all your support. We really appreciate it. Without you, we wouldn't have an audience. Um, and I wouldn't have kids to teach. Uh, one last thing. I I believe I already said we will have be having a rock festival on
June 6th. So, if you like what these guys are doing that, we have like another 10 songs to add to that. So, we'll be playing along with a couple other Tanto bands. But thank you very much for coming tonight and have a good [Applause] [Music]
