It's amazing. This has become fantastic. This has become a really big deal in the Northshore, not just in Beverly. So, um although we're getting a little bit spitting on us uh here right now, we're hoping that we've kind of beat the rain. We're hoping that that uh uh that we're going to stay dry, but fingers are really crossed on
that one. As we're waiting, let me just uh give you a couple of things. First of all, I want to thank our our sponsors. Um, and we're going to begin with uh the Beverly 400 plus committee, which as many of you may not know, but 2026 is Beverly's 400th birthday. 006city meetings and government coverage, Bevcam Education for studentmade projects, Bevcam Public for community shows, and Bevcam Sports for all the local athletic coverage throughout the year. Please, if you feel uh so inclined, make a donation. Let's keep Bevcam moving forward and doing all of the great things that it does. Their driver Joe is here with us with his son. Uh he's awesome. And uh this is just uh just great. Here comes to Disco trucks right now with the live holiday music. >> Yay. >> This is awesome. Beautiful, beautiful trucks. >> To disco uh is a big company in this in this area. Has a wonderful reputation. [laughter] It is so festive here. It's like Jingle Bells is playing. Everybody's smiling.
You probably can't hear me right now. And it's raining, but everybody's having such a great time. Such a great time. I'd love to live on a planet where people can't hear you. Yeah. Yeah. That would be that would be interesting. [laughter] Yeah. >> Wow. >> More to disco trucks, man. They got a lot of trucks >> now. Awesome. >> They are big. They are big. >> They are big and there's a lot of them. >> Wow. With candy canes on top of them >> and they've all decorated with bows and all that. It looks It's awesome. >> Very festive. Very festive. >> That's a great looking truck. Do you need a truck? >> I might need a truck for my hammer. >> Yeah, he doesn't even have any tools, so that would not be happening.
>> Oh, look what's coming next. Antique fire engine. This is an antique fire engine. It's carrying the Craconis family tradition died by Grampy Ed many years ago. originally in our 1959 Mac fire engine to our current engine, a 1988 Ranger. It is amazing. >> That is really neat. So cute. That is really neat. And right behind it, look at this. >> Wow. >> We got a hot rod. >> A hot rod. Gary Stenson's [music] hot rod. >> Gary Stson. Wow. Got a bunch of cars coming up. >> Wow. They caught the Grinch. >> They caught [laughter] the
Grinch. He's all tied up in the back of that car right there. Look at this. >> Oh, look at these. We have a few Grinches this year. >> Look at some beautiful cars. It's a beauty. >> Beautiful red car. I don't I don't know what kind. It looks like a Thunderbird. >> It's a Ford Mustang. >> Oh, sugar. >> I'm going to guess somewhere around 65 or 66. >> I don't know. >> No, you [music] don't know. I have no idea. We have another Grinch. >> You don't know the year of the car you're driving. >> No, it has four wheels and a steering wheel. That's all I care. >> More trucks coming. Another truck. >> Yeah. With some more uh with some more very festive holiday attire. >> Alan, there's a gingerbread man on
top of that truck. >> That would be >> Oh, and it's snowing. >> Just make believe snow, guys. Not real snow. >> Just make believe snow from one of the trucks. I do want to mention too uh just a little earlier we had right in front of us here a group from the Harmony Northshore um ac capella group. They were singing right here out in front of us in front of the trucks here. They're awesome. We've heard them in the past. They're really really good. If you ever have a chance to go see the Harmony Northshore ac capella group, I would suggest you take advantage of that. They're really good at what they do. Here comes a beautiful >> Look at this. You could even say I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. You just ruined
the entire broadcast. [laughter] This >> Thanks, guys. >> Thank you. >> This is great. We got more bulldozers or whatever. Look at that. Look at these things. All right. The presents are going up in the air now. >> These kids get so excited with these big trucks. >> And it looks like they must be helping Santa cuz he has a lot of boxes. >> How are you? more bulldozers and more snowman out of tires looking at us. >> Some people are so creative. They are just so creative. >> I don't have an ounce of creativity in my body. >> You do not. That is correct. >> I do not. >> That is correct. >> Oh, look at this house. >> Oh, wow. We got some from the city of Beverly Park Services Department. >> The
highway division. And they actually have a house. >> Oh, that's terrific. >> With a chimney. That's so clever. Very nice. Beverly DPS is coming up now, which are always very festive and very helpful to us and we're lucky to have them here in the city. Guys do a great job. People do a great job. >> Christmas, [laughter] >> the work that these people, you know, putting these floats together, the creativity and all of the kids helping. It's a lot of work, but it puts a lot of smiles on everybody's face. >> Well, it does. And it's also great. It's just a great community event because how many people does it take to put all this stuff together? So you you're bringing the community together, bringing people together, building friendships, building relationships. >> Well, you do
know this is the number one Oh, look at the dog. >> You [laughter] do know Beverly like the number one community to live in. [screaming] >> And now look what we do. >> 01915 is the number one community in the country to live in. That's correct. >> Yeah. More trucks. Oh, Beverly Public Works. >> And we've got the Hav Master truck coming through now. Coming right through. It looks like we're going to lull after this. Well, it's not a truck. It's called a boat. >> Yeah, it's not [laughter] a truck. Well, that's a truck. It's pulling the boat. >> So, have a master boat. Yeah, >> Master Beverly. >> Very nice. Thank you. >> It's awesome. We got a little bit of a low coming up right now. So, uh, gives us a chance just
to just to chat a little bit here about what a wonderful thing this is. Again, as I mentioned earlier, it's the 78th annual parade here in Beverly. It certainly is one of the oldest in the country, if not the oldest. I I I don't know that. But uh but but it certainly is one of the oldest parades in the country to welcome in the holiday season. But we do it right right here in Beverly. And I think at this time, why don't we go back to Andy at the high school to see what's happening up at the staging. >> Okay, let's keep talking. So, um >> but look at Allan. Look at all of the people. >> You know what? It's interesting. We got a nice crowd down here on Cabrowd. >> A lot of
umbrellas. So, people came prepared, but uh but it's a nice crowd. As I said earlier, you know what, Beverly people are tough people. We're out here in anything because we want to participate [music] and we want to say hello to our community and we want to say hello to the holiday season and we want to welcome it with open arms and and uh hoping everybody has a joyous, a healthy, and a wonderful holiday season. So, and I hope everybody enjoyed at Thanksgiving. We're still having turkey at our house and that's okay cuz she does make a hell of a turkey. I will tell you [laughter] that. I can tell you it's a great great turkey. But uh I did want to mention too that uh I mentioned uh a little bit earlier that uh the
Beverly 400 uh uh organization is just amazing. Again, it's led by Todd Ratundo, who's just an amazing leader and is doing an amazing job with it. And uh next year is Beverly's 400th birthday. That's a big deal. And when you look at the history of this city, the very rich history and all the things that that brought us together and have kept us together over the years, it's really amazing to learn more about this. You will have that opportunity. You always have that opportunity at Historic Beverly cuz they do a wonderful job over there of helping people understand the history of our city and what's happened. But next year, you're going to have even a a a much better opportunity because Beverly 400 has so many events lined up throughout 2026 to educate everybody here
in the city all about the rich history here and to have a lot of fun. It's going to be a lot of fun. It's going to it's been a ton of work, but it's going to be a lot of fun. And trust me when I tell you, make plans to to go to some of these events and learn more about our city. We just had uh at the cab uh it may still be there. I think it may have finished, but uh PBS has done a uh uh a documentary on the on the [laughter] on the revolution and uh Ken Burns has done that and worked with a lot of the uh a lot of the work that is at historic Beverly. So, it's um so it's kind of it's it's very interesting and and
uh just a great way to learn more about our city and understand uh where we came from and and where we are. So, I think it's kind of a kind of a neat thing and and uh we should probably spend a little bit of time there as well. So, we've got uh we've got our city officials coming up now. >> The Marblehead uh regiment is coming first, Alan. >> Oh, is it? Yeah. >> Yep. all the uh the >> Glover's Marblehead Regiment is a bobblehead based Revolutionary War reenactment unit and they're celebrating the 250th anniversary. Here they come now. These guys are uh I'm sorry, but these people are are really interesting and amazing. And I'll tell you what, they got some loud guns. They got some really loud. >> And I think you're going to hear because it looks like they're going to start the guns. Like whatever they do to them. >> They shoot them. [laughter] They shoot the guns. >> No, but they put something in You actually paid the guy in the front to shoot you right in the head. See what happens >> now, guys. >> Here they go. Here
