tonight's ballgame with a two and fourteen record rich in the belly Panthers stand at I think what ten and five ok 11:05 excuse me 11:05 with four more games to go and so this is what I call from a coaching point to trap game rich barely just got through beating a good PE team last Friday they give a very good puck team in Marblehead as playing their best ball right now they're playing Thursday night instead of Friday night so this is what we call a trap game you know you're playing a team it's you know they're not in it they only have two or three wins like you said you know you're putting the uniform on don't disgrace the uniform play the game yeah yeah these kids are coming here they're gonna try to beat
Beverly you know and you're right it's it's what they call those games you know what I always say it in little ways you know you guys are putting the uniform to come down here and play a game don't disgrace the uniform play the game I like that your position you do that I like that you should play hard they're gonna play hard they're gonna try to win [Music] what happens well you know rich you just talking about your dad coached for four years literally a Giants so I've always avoided the social media stuff not into that but you know since I stopped coaching no more camps I gave up the driving school you know my wife said I should probably try Facebook see if I like it can always get off it so I'm on

without even looking at the names underneath I knew a lot of those kids just by looking at the pitcher when the kids only 10 11 or 12 you know I recognize your father right away Pat shell Dhoni you know Ricky's father and then he went to each other naturally teams Eddie Brown the calm you know okay we're gonna take a pause here for the national anthem you gotta come and hope we'll be back from tip-off [Music] [Applause] okay would back down so pebbles gonna go with a regular starting lineup i see rich luigi duran Duncan Moreland Jack Crawley Toscani and brew and Matt running well I was here the other night against the PVD team and I thought it was a nice gesture that all the seniors they started we talked about that really nice

my Philly boy he's from Philly so you know here the bragging rights at probably high school last week at that Brunson Perez is shooting a pair for us free-throw is good 12 6 barely here shoot the second one that's also good yep yep Davies for three no good via the rebound here they come look on the run Oh gonna be off at the file I think yes oh that's a Tommy point yeah there it is you took the heck and he catch you that fouls on though for reveal what this can be their third team foul and it cuts 33 okey that's gonna be Amelia Leon's foul so we got a John Emilio and mama-mama Leone Leone the restaurant Davies top of the key three ball get a little lazy with it gets back made
a nice block though Duncan lien the fast-break makes a good position pulls it back out Luigi looking for his first three no good president Yvonne nice bounce pass all nice blocked gave like a cow for Mary he has a nice break out game last week I tell you I think I love this kid and I told him I said I don't think you realize how good you are you can play with the big dog stop playing a little coffee that's it that's what it's all it is cups all things go right for you and it can turn everything around absolutely so I'm hoping that was his breakout game and his stop picking up 23 on the region that's gonna be his first 4th on the team I got beautiful okay we point up by the
Legion 15 to 7 Beverly to 12 will go in the first quarter very small crowd today Oz all the kids a home starting on the school now you think rich huh yeah I think you're right but we do have that tournament coming up this weird so that I think there'll be some I think they get a real big problems weekend all right 57 is Perez it's a jump shot fear hanging in there wall on a nice little jump shot no good [Music] I think Davies got away with one to reveal all of its a rebound Duncan with the steel pushing it nice bounce pass the rotting he's running the floor they want to run and every time Revere is making a mistake they're running with yeah they're pushing it I like that you got a
minute 12 the goal here 17 and 9 Beverly the Perez Suresh again hits the home play can we travel all too bad Luigi hit the three but you travel first drag the pivot foot ravine you get to the ball all right 17 11 40 seconds ago we'll try and get a revered score over there - got a foul on belly Oh off at the foul it's gonna be five on Revere and seal the fouls on a rich 23 again okay so that's gonna be chulo that's his second foul five on the team [Applause] Luigi run is no good again right there where we supposed to be he just knows where to be no issue to here now that's gonna be the 16th foul on Revere so the next foul on Revere belly shootin 101 the
rest of the rest of the half which is big which is real big especially if they continue to shoot the threes the weight of the shooting bellies 5 for 5 from the line and hope I didn't just give him a kiss of death probably probably you know how that goes right oh yeah clunk no okay good good good all right violet her because there's no way I'm missing this coach all right 22 seconds in countin now 1911 Beverly Revere home for one here down 8 Oh nice fake I think that good non-call was a good non-call it's gonna be good to go okay so that last suit was by Leone it was a two okay so at the end of one we get Bentley 19 in Revere 13 into the first quarter rich we're gonna
take a quick walk around the city here we're gonna give it a quick shadow Blake a Toyo he was involved my best whole program involved with the youth program for years I understand he tore his ACL playing basketball last weekend and I told him you know that's what you get me hang on the rim too long you gonna be caffeine but but place a great kid he was out there listening Blake you get better real quick buddy we send our regards yes we do okay you got the class 86 okay I keep writing Stacy peloton Debbie Miller Josh missins Jeff Lamar II stick Cloughley Danny marriages am Roger marheine see the old-timers as we call him scoff compiled a in his family Katy Scott Mia Tyler Bostick was still around I was still wrongs yeah

the game I don't know about that Crowley's block was I don't know that one I think he intimidated uh I think he called that just a little quick that foul he's coming in Carly that's only his first only the team's second yeah Crowley's very aggressive around the best both in [Music] okay we get Avery shooting a pair here first was no good you miss them both yeah this guy goes the hoop brings it back out Luigi long three is long there may be a little out of his range he's more of an inside player nice take number one [Music] [Applause] 21:18 got a ball game here Luigi for three got it [Music] 24:18 just under six to go in the half Beverly still staying man the man both things playing man the man probably got
a hand in there that's what for the pass a little bit probably a block block rebound missus Connie pushes ahead more lime nice head fake nice head fake him up in the air good job good entry pass good fake cut himself to the line he's gonna be shooting too but either way to get one one if not yeah more than will shoot appear here 6-3 Wow [Applause] Waller's first free-throw is good didn't catch all the time oh it is but we will take a timeout here 25:18 Marlon will be shooting another free throw when we do come back okay we're gonna put the standings up for the Northeast all right you can see Everett in English at the top there Callaspo eleven five Beverly Falls 11 and 5 now the little stars next to each
team and the not games they've made the state tournament as you can see every team in the north is going to the state turn except for Revere over the salt we have some of OH going to the tournament 10 and 5 Winthrop is 710 in Swans distri and 13 and Saugus its 413 and those last three teams I mentioned I actually want to return under the sullivan rule and the sullivan rule if you don't know is if you go 500 against teams in your division then you go to the tournament and we'll talk more about that later on right now we're gonna get back to action 522 will go in the half belly up 725 18 more than shooting a second of his free throws I saw touch nothing but net yeah 2618 okay we
got a Revere update here halfway through the third quarter already over there rich and Olivia is that 30 to 27 so the belly girls are playing Revere tough over there yeah after to the third so that's like that's a good that's a good test that's a good test yeah they got a good a 6-4 that's going on Division one I forget what she's going Nyak up in New York upstate New York use it in Niagara oh she's going Niagara I believe in full scholarship 6-4 she's tough seen her play last year alright bellies up 826 18 just the biggest league rich upbeat layup more I don't think they not double-figure yeah I think I don't think so let's go to stop here and get a hoop get up double think he's good defense by canal
good call good call took the loose know step the Panthers have increased the defensive pressure a little bit coming out of that timeout I'll tell you the kid who was really stepped up this year things Matt rotting that running has really worked his tail off he's doing a terrific job doing all the dirty work doesn't go a lot of points because all the assists takes the charges this is the ball nice Luigi number three the widgetts got three threes comes after that's all he has is three threes all baskets of threes he's been wide open so he's gonna yeah yeah yep can you I don't like that okay nice deal do it but we're gonna get quick timeout by Revere all of a sudden that will ease up eight now bang you know 13 defense
okay so we're gonna look at the division to north standing right now all right we look around and they're in the like super 8 in the Boston heresy Allanson 15 and 1 got masking on it 12 and 4 and I'm askin arm is gonna be here this weekend in that very McIntyre tournament so it's a good chance Bell William astronomic could meet and Winchester in belly both 11 5 Belmont long in five so it's all kind of tied up there if Beverly could win out and fat that's what they're gonna have to do a pelvic an went out they could you know get a second or third seed and I think even if they want to cut more games the chance for at least one home game you'd like to see ma get two home
games that they can rich yeah you always want to get one big advantage having a home game off night and day thank you Dave Beverly with the full-court press now I like this characters come all the time out with the 1-800 press it's keeping the foot to the pedal ok good taste a 33 that's the oniy only again 31 to 20 bevy up 11 Oh slip Luigi was come from pic and I I'm thought he just slipped and slipped in the past past behind him so it wasn't a bad pass not the past was the past was if he swept and that was it boy that'd be a nice felon bellies cap for the girls they could pull that up set off over there yeah absolutely but I think there might be Divino is the
belly girls one or two I think they might they might be Division one it's funny how that goes all right the sky's gonna pick up the foul that's gonna be his first war on the team we got Perez here shootin a good job there's a Miss on the line like a middle linebacker type that a basketball but he's a agile he's doing a good job game of runs reveals on the for nothing run right now Luigi strong hoop I'll tell you I tell him I tell Louie Louie you are dangerous when you go to the hoop I like to see him go up a little bit more you go a little bit more it's gonna open up your side shot just a little bit more moral support no good Crowley with the rebound no good
do you have to Walt raise me call me he just hurried it a little bit je viens put clean very selfish prayers a long three is no good Lee BOM Moreland good call yeah right on it yeah good call can I go that call now I got Beverly down for three files they get four up the endless I missed one but I going to get one on firing one on Toscani one on Davies can you know another file being calling someone else which I can't so either we're wrong I miss one more than likely I miss one but what's would see yeah well you know I'm trying to look down with the duck that keeps going and look back up and sometimes it takes a second when you look down on my family that's a
basket that uh someone comes up to steal or foul whatever okay you've had no good two three point of Perez nice fake here I like this kid Perez he is present tell me he's a senior please oh yeah Bellevue up by 11 all a nice take Oh Crowley again with the rebound up and in they just don't have any answer for him you really gotta know where he is you gotta put a body on that kid or he's gonna kill you he's gonna get bigger he's gonna get stronger and I'll tell you he's gonna be handful in a couple years go we got an offensive foul and Revere with the push-off should be 101 here unless it's not a shooting foul he was calling it offensive foul oh okay yeah yeah that's gonna be on
Brunson Perez his first eighth on the team they got ate up the average Crowley good call exactly you know what we will work with that pivot moving now he there's a nice pivot move nice outside pivot and I think what happens exactly what you said I think he got bumped a little bit now look at beveling up there up here by 13 and then a full-court press I like that Luigi for another three no good Duncan try to keep it alive Davis chases down good job by Dave he's getting hand in there Paul what a beautiful pass by Luigi beautiful pass and Weezy I think melilla may have made that if he didn't get fouled just enough balls in round number loveand want the first goal his first night on the team Moreland one-on-one no
actually I think he called to drop that oh we call heat yeah okay 36 22 Beverly 118 to go and a half and well he's got another one he's good at the line those are three points coach you got to take those Elias a missile on yet elby's 10 for 10 from the language so that so they don't have the Celtics disease alright that foul give me and Duncan Moreland this could be his first fifth on the team then we have 15 the biggest li now rich yeah this is right on the verge of getting away from Revere less than a month ago aw nice Dale by Davies I yeah I think he was trying to I think he got a break that he might have traveled before I he was lucky he stylist loan
on that little stutter step I think he wanted money Duncan how many okay AV shooting appear that's their first miss the old coach of the Celtics would say mr. Lauer back bend your knees Davy second free-throw was up and he's got it okay 38 to 22 now Bell V up 16 the biggest lead unless they're meant to go with down to 42 seconds and company yep all their oh nice play by Revere good place yes Perez this Perez e your boy Perez cut you know Crowley saw it coming to in trouble you Crowley try the other way he just couldn't she did a nice job donal off Crowley Johnny Goodwin has come back in Bosh in [Applause] okay belly 27 seconds they can hold for one they're gonna go up they're going to the hoop
all nice pass Oh belly balled it now right now I think they should hope for one now goody you know you're up sixteen can 18 seconds you get a fast break for one unless you have a lay yeah is that let's see what they do here they say they hold for one that's exactly what they're going to well it looks like think I'm doing you don't know so I'm like it trigger-happy here Davey's got a kick I think so 5.7 seconds all right get the ball and I'll be going to the hoop I always told the kids a lot of times they wait too long ago hope I tell my kids eight seconds start to make you move gives you time for shot and all three bottles Hey all nice out of Bounce boy machine
can't bring a home might have been possible och Oh stupid foul here but you know what they get the they had one to waste that's the sixth foul so Revere should not be shooting and nine tenth of a second left 38:22 don't foul no don't follow but if I was on lashing by the way his first six on the team easy you throw the ball off the backboard and you hope someone can just jump up and catch a chute someone's a dangerous cross my pastor no harm came of it okay now listen before we go off a half time we got a update on the Revere girls game over over the ravine Bellavia at the end of the third quarter the Beverley girls are leading Revere 38 to 36 Wow Wow so it must be
ready yeah it's good if they're going total total to Revere girls that's good so we'll keep you up to date with that okay so right now we're gonna take a break it's 3822 belly a halftime and we'll be back for a second half action and about five or ten minutes which sounds good you are watching Bev cam here anyone can come to the studio to make their own local TV show contact us with your idea we'll help you get started with producing your own show editing it and then we'll broadcast it to all of Beverly for your friends and family to see you might even get some new fans we also film local events like sports music City Council meetings and more if you miss out on anything in town you can catch up on

in losing the service down to North Carolina what break Perez strong drive the loop no good block like Gigi barely just running right off the court now oh no that's you know he had a ball he had a bit of cheese into Megabus and making that dump but he can dunk you know by the way I've watched him after school down here and the open gym and stuff and now he can we'll probably see him dunk a couple times that was kind of a tough one he was too little too far away okay that falls coming by his first are you getting a team over there I got three unless I miss now we got four and four okay so 14 the sky is gonna get two free throws did he make them both yes
she did yeah can't say I blame her for more I sit you can dunk it dunk it not just laying then take the ugly - I told tell the kids I'll take that I believe two points every time nice Toyota nice take nice Laura 14:57 26 Bentley up 31 it was McCormick but the floater that missed it last time komari now with the ball good one at the top of the key or Duran Duran look underneath the Camaro a nice pass might not overpass there but for Davey good one long three is no good rebound Duran I think Duran is trying to get going in the after paying answer that's another thing about I like about this team though rich they can play very very unselfish I see who got that basket was [Applause] [Music]
yeah the kids are trying hard to get some of these guys that don't get a lot of minutes you know that's gonna bask yeah absolutely yeah when he gets up like that as a coach you'd like to get all the kid oh nice pass by Goodwin yeah I can marry blow it hurt himself yeah landed fine what yeah he did hope he's okay you don't need any injuries this time of the year yeah yeah land wrong son why you'd pull a muscle even [Music] he needs to get him he needs to come out he's hurting good they're gonna stop it about now you're gonna stop and get him out she's Gandhi coming back in all right well lesson omit the goal reveal only has six points this quarter and again that's Beverly's defense Davies nice
truck good fifty nine twenty-eight bevel yup 31 I believe that's the biggest lead 20 seconds filling your last shot here I don't they know it's I'm nine seconds eight now you got to go see two long six five Davy's going to loop strong lays it up and in they're gonna get in there alright 61 228 whoo let's take a look at this quarter yeah 21 the six was at that corner I know we've only had three baskets for six points yeah and I think yeah they did eight points ee hit 38 a half-time so 23 look and see if I'm missing the hoop here you're always right on it 21 will reign on it buddy so a big third quarter for the Panthers huge quarter huge quarter rebounding speed defense lots of easy baskets [Music]
just get a quick shuttle on the ad dan Keith giving us one the know if we knew that the girls have one I told that we didn't know and we didn't announce it so what what so fine all the engine was at 50 52 46 I think it was twenty seven fifty three fifty forty seven I go check it now they won that's the bottom line oh they want I want to go fifty the 47 I'm gonna double-check and I'm gonna go 52 46 all right okay that's what we're gonna do we're on for coffee Duncan okay sounds good I'll give you a buy a donut okay right so three quarters are in the book it's kind of turning out the way we thought it was going to and this is where you want to
stay away from the injuries and we already have two guys down who else we get down there we have kind of heard was limping off yeah he seems to be okay who was it rotting we don't need that [Applause] so here we go 52:46 you all right rich I only owe you a coffee and a doughnut I'd rather have you over to me to screw me out of it okay Revere's got the boss style off here gonna have a file here Beverly it's only this second now the one thing I hate about Gaines like to see okay boy who's that following first of all that's coming in Durant it's only his first foul and it's only their second team foul it seems like every time you get again this big take 20 years to play
the last quarter you know it's I think that happens because there's a lot of kids that don't get a lot of minutes and there's a lotta there's a lot of turnovers this for our walls this you know and the referees gonna have a cool tool they call a little piggy stuff you know that's the one thing I'm you know drives me nuts at time I think the Nazis conference they call a little bit too tight you know Davies fires up a three it's good the Panthers can't do anything wrong all the kids every this is one game that's everything's going right for them up by 36 and coach Cal coaches on the right thing each go at the bench absolutely all nice good point D for the played by clock mashing those kids all come
to practice you know and absolutely see them get some minutes because you know their word every practice like that you know the real good play is in the starters and you want them to get minutes and keep their interests absolutely so we get Jeremy comics in here with Ma Chien Goodwin Davies and Toscani Abram Goodwin the rebound alter Davies give it up I'll tell you again we talked earlier Rich's his team is very very in selfish this kid Davies is a heck of a pass I swear he gets more satisfaction of a nice no-look pass and he does making a hole yeah you know like the unselfishness you know part of that's in the kid part of its coach and yeah the coach brings that you know this is how we're gonna play and you
know it's not one it's us well you know when we excuse a lot of times which I used to have my kids do like they couldn't dribble make them you know move the ball without putting it to the floor and then we do another one where you couldn't look at the man you pass to which way they look one way and pass the opposite and it also got the receiver used to you know the your teammates not looking right at you you better be expecting that pass even though he's looking in the opposite way that keep you alert and exactly exactly okay we're via takes the ball away one hand layup made it to call we saw that we up 34 travel how are you 546 we get 807 on the real clock so let's
see how long it takes to play this game all right you get less than six minutes it's 807 you know some people would have it in mind mindset of okay just take a tinkle all the time off the clock but you want these kids to play you know don't don't just try to milk the clock like the way the game you know anyway and you can't tell kids not to shoot no you try and keep tell the kids you know try to avoid taking the three you know unless the class 1 and down unless it's you know really went and down you got to shoot this nice stuff I think find that no threes you know again I think you got away to travel with average that's the vehicle just calling for her to UV
I lost it will be Beverly ball alright 5:19 ago 64 230 Beverly's up 34 points well tonight's although and this is just what you want to get tonight get anybody in the game give the stars and cook blow you playing Thursday instead of Friday let's just hope writings okay cuz he's still dining on the bench of he gonna walk home was on these on the end always Ison open sizing he's fine I'm watching the leaf fine but I used to put the walking cast on my foot down at balls don't laugh I'm serious I know you are I had kids giving me notes when I cosas pebble you please just like oh nice Tommy's the mummy was right in my note please excuse on so he's not feeling well he has a bad head cold
yeah I'm old school when calling who's coaching one year and he asked what was wrong only kids I gave him the note one just looked at and laughed crumble the note up kids mother woman no he has a head coat but he wanted to go and support his teammates God alright belly with the ball good one with the ball Makana cross-court nice team pass then the old benches up good rebound McCormick with the ball or will I have a good one we're down a 40 team again 64 13 middle school for a while here to which yeah well that comes with the territory yo we're still looking good though you combine the point yeah almost on the points there boy Revere can't buy a hoop to school they're really struggle did ya did they what
they were severely overmatched yes game do they had many seniors rich at all can you see on that roster not Manny yeah so they're young so the young 302 they only have to do they play much those two kids one of the numbers for the seniors yeah they point coin he was a star Tony and this kid before yeah they did point quite a bit he's too soft or send it he point Quentin I thought why not as a starter and Avery star so two stars are seen yeah and that's it right yeah Dayoung you're right next year there'll be a different team yeah a whole new team okay no comic with the rebound we're up down a 335 to go on the game wash and going to hoot Strom gets it partially blocked Revere
comes out of the pack [Applause] want the folks go no good you gonna jump ball here yep do it is 3:14 ago still 64 230 ya motherfu so followed a shot and that's why you gotta jump all he yeah alright so anyways coming up while we're here Bebel you will be at Marblehead Thursday night it's gonna be a great game our heads of playing real real good right now they playing crunch times coming down and if you're not the only thing this weekend come down to the Beverly High School Fieldhouse Sunday and Monday for the Larry McIntyre basketball tournament we're gonna have the boys and girls teams from Beverly Bishop family mask anomic and Gloucester the first game will be the Gloucester girls against the mask anomic girls fall by the boys and then Beverly
girls we playing the bishop Thelma girls and family's Donald for them then nine and eight IC but they just got one of the best players back who tore ACL who's feelin a doll she's tough I saw a play as a freshman she's back now for last three or four games didn't like a different things I tell her it's big difference so that the Bellas gotta their work cut out with that game and then master mom unit we know it's mass penomet Oh a nice day of my my shine can't save it again it's still 62 34 we've been quite a while since we've had a hoop yeah I just got brought to date that the Bella girls will be looking for a little revenge against Falmouth who beat them in the mask atomic Christmas tournament
this past Christmas okay from town long three is good that's their first basket about at least three or four minutes they are may being longer Davies he's got a nice touch I don't like to see him shoot threes always a stage of the game though I don't think you know yeah I wanna me something you gotta have a clue too you know sometimes as a coach you can tell kids at the end that sometimes they just react you know the brain cramps they get what does I guess we all get them once in a while all right we got 6733 belly up 34 208 to go in the ball game quick hello shuttle to Jimmy crossed on their with Lenny I see you got that basket just you got that basket I was in the
railing was in the way we're gonna give it to Amy give it a Avery that's okay 33 got now Cahill was out of three or two to the two okay he had some fans here you know a lot of people rooting for are good for him in is a great kid over there in the don't know is the nephew mayor Mike Cahill number 12 again three Mike Cahill played baseball for me the only one that did Mike said he was never the same you get hit Searcy he brought it up I forgot about that he one foot in one foot out and Michael's a good ballplayer but that happened sometimes you know Revere with another hoop yeah it's out of three have to be a three think of who got that basket but I think
it was that three but they didn't put it out right we're gonna give him three they put it at the feet the awnings right in my way I can't see the head there's another one [Applause] okay belly's gonna hold it here you want belly should not be shooting here all right that's gonna be a final here then that was gonna wonder the game final score is gonna be 69 to 42 that we just come out the second half and just put him away early went on I know quick at least a 14 not them run the style of the second half and I think that was the difference in the ball game too they just came on just yeah second quarter Beverly got very strong defensive pressure turn the game their way and in at
that point they never let up no but their foot on the gas and it was good night well like you said we deal with just a little over matter what happens there you know the young team and graduated like 19 their coach was telling me by again Bell we got exactly what they wanted this is what we call the trap game coming off a big win against Peavy last Friday bobblehead this Thursday Revere comes in at 2 and 14 sometimes kids think to all they gonna do is just roll the ball in and walk away with it so Bella gets a nice solid win got some good balanced scoring also everybody get in because a good playing time yeah so 2 folded the kids are don't put too much got some good playing time tonight
and also the stars go like a nice little rest - yeah so that's gonna move Beverly to 12 and 5 now 12 and 5 you know I told people and I repeated this is she a couple times this year belly I think is a year away and I still think that I but I told people don't don't look past this yet they're gonna surprise some teams I mean eight and they have they have I don't think anybody my self occlude will figure this thing will be 12 and 5 at this point so again that's a credit to the coaching staff coach Matt Carroll chorus and Jeff Downey and Adam Russo they've done a terrific job the kids are bought into the program they've worked tired I've seen you know a practice and he's got them
running they're in shape and good format and it's a nice team win so rich I want us off for Beth Kim I want to thank which lens was stepping rich you did a great job buddy I owe you a coffee buddy I'll see you down the street okay don't worry about I know I know it would be the same way around to Ma Clayman was on the camera tonight I want to thank Mike for the nice job he does it's always okay I'll producer Robert Doakes is gonna take a bath to you Robert good job off from inside behind the scenes and we will be home we'll be back again I'll be back anyways this coming Sunday all right so for Bev camp I'm Tom Donovan along with routine lens and we'll catch you over
